Brad was very professional and personal. Brads task was to service my Generac 20K and address an issue with one the load-shed units. He did both in a very reasonable and safe amount of time. Brad was also able to address questions that I had - especially my warranty and extended warranty. Brad represented Roby Services is the best possible manner - very impressive.

We had a defective smoke detector late Friday night. We called Roby early Saturday morning and they connected us to Robert quickly. He got on the phone with us at Home Depot to help us buy the right replacement detector and then promptly came to our house. He quickly fixed our problem and even replaced the batteries in our other 6 smoke detectors. He was a really nice guy and did a great job.

My clients were due to arrive in a couple hours completing their two day drive across country to their new home in SC. While dropping off their key, I noticed the a/c was not working upstairs. It was 86degrees! Roby Services sent technician, Matt Braswell, and he diagnosed that the capacitor was shot. With a new one in his truck, Matt was able to install, and have the house cooling off before my clients arrived. What a life saver!!

Man! I cannot describe my gratitude and appreciation for this crew from Roby services. Aaron, Adam, and Kimberly are amazing. During Helene a lot of trees fell around our property and messed up our electric. Our property was the hardest hit for us, and we don’t have a driveway currently. Over the past three weeks, this crew, but especially Aaron, did all he could to keep our power on, and they all did an amazing job. Kimberly communicated with me regularly, and was a great project manager, keeping all the pieces moving. We really do love and appreciate how hard all utility and service people are working so hard to help recovery from Helene. But had to give a shout out to this team. Thank you all so much.

Kyle arrived to look at our problem. He surveyed our setup and asked a lot of good questions, including what steps we had taken to troubleshoot ourselves. Then he excused himself to do his own diagnosis. Turns out he found a bad GFIC that we hadn’t even remembered. In addition, it had been wired incorrectly. He replaced the device, corrected the wiring issue and was done in no time. The emails and texts following up the setting of the appointment were a bit overdone I will say. However, he contacted me within the time frame day of the appointment, quickly found and corrected the issue, and provided estimates for additional items he found as he diagnosed the current situation. None of these were critical for today, but will be something to address in the near future. Kyle was friendly and efficient, the price was reasonable for the expertise and achievement of desired result. Office was able to set the appointment for next day.

Adding to my previous review . . . Roby came through again. After a storm caused a power surge that knocked out power to half of our house while we were away Roby Services -- Jake Mackey -- came through by fixing the matter quickly and perfectly. This just augments my previous review.We have worked with various components of Andrew Roby over the past ten years. Of all the companies and services we deal with, Andrew Roby is the best by far. Their service is outstanding, their prices are more than fair, considering what you get in quality and service, and they are always on time and on budget. We have used them for very large construction projects to home maintenance contracts. It is the same throughout the Roby family of companies very high quality and very high level of service. We would never use anyone else!!

Matt and david were exceptional Electrical technicians. That did above and beyond what was asked and explained why they placed electrical outlet in a position they selected, making it user friendly to an older adult. While they had downtime waiting on Technical Support from another entity, they managed to use that time to help me with another issue that was annoying to me and completed that work by the time the technical support performed their task. I will ask for Matt and David from Roby construction for any additional electrical work that I need. They deserve a five star plus plus plus for their work today.

Talk about awesome! Roby couldn’t have been a more perfect person for the job. Roby responded to an urgent matter at 11:00pm and had zero issue commuting over an half an hour drive to my residence to help me with my issue. I’ve been without water for 22hrs and after multiple visits the city had zero answers for my problem. Roby took less than 20 minutes and had my house up and going just as promised. In addition to fixing my water malfunction, he kindly informed me on a few house and water saving tips I will benefit from in the future. I wish I would’ve started off with Roby and wast zero time with the city of Charlotte. Thank you so much Roby. You were a huge help to me and my home. Highly recommend!

Jose R. was excellent. He diagnosed why our fuse was being tripped, showed me the outlet that was causing it and recommended a variety of fixes to fit my budget. We decided to replace all the outlets in the basement because they were done poorly by the previous contractor. Jose R. cleared his schedule for the next day and came exactly when he said he would and communicated with me the whole time. I could not be any more pleased with Roby or Jose R. Kyle is a master electrician! I would highly recommend asking for him. Kyle hung a 250 pound chandelier in our home and he did it alone. It was an extremely difficult fixture to wire and hang. Four other electricians from different companies came out and were unable to install the fixture. Kyle was excited for the challenge and made quick work of the project. We were blown away that he was able to do the job himself. He is smart, talented, and very friendly. Thank you Kyle and Roby Services!

I could have sent a picture for that. I was not inconvenienced, but I can see how this experience can be inconvenient for some.While I don’t know much about surge protection products I would have felt more comfortable with the technician asking me how I use my home and the product services that I’m planning on adding to my home to be able to give me the confidence that I was getting the proper protection protection My needs rather that a generalized answer.I’m a customer that likes to be educated.

I have been trying to find a reputable source to service my generator after Power Source came out and looked at it and said they would be back, over a year ago. They answered my call once then never returned it nor answered my calls,Roby puts Power Source to shame! I called on Wednesday and had an 8 AM appointment for Friday.The service provider Michael Scism is professional, informative and willing to go the extra mile to make sure his customers service is complete and the customer is satisfied. All generator needs are met and updated. He also grounded all electrical boxes the generator supplies. Informed me today builder installs are required to ground at install. That could have potential been a huge loss and a big replacement ! Thank you Roby!!!I need to move energy supplies to the generator box. As I discussed everything with Michael I found out how seriously he takes his position of providing the best service and representing his company. He has to do load calculations before moving anything. He will return to to do it correctly and safely!!!I did not have any expectations of anything being done much less having the best electrical experience I have had since I was 18 years old in 1979! Glad to see someone is bringing back the values I have had little success finding in 4+ decades!Thank you Roby! I hope to have continued reputable service relationship. Recently we were planning on purchasing a home we were renting and we of course had a home inspection and they noted some of the major system components in our home were reaching their functional age life expectancy.The inspector noted that our Fort Mill home showed signs of deferred maintenance with the HVAC, electrical, furnace heat and air, and crawl space. They showed signs of wear and tear after years of minimal upkeep.We knew that the heat and air would need to be functional for years to come to protect our investment.During our home buying process, the furnace in the house actually stopped functioning all together on a Friday afternoon and that weekend was extremely cold outside and we had no heat in the house. Our first thought was to call One Hour Heating and Cooling (turned out to be a mistake) because they can arrive in about an hour or so we thought. 6 hours later and after several phone calls trying to figure out who they were sending we finally found out that a technician was on the way and he went up to diagnose the system and shortly after he came down with a summary of proposed work ranging from $1500 up to $9,000. Mostly those quotes included overpriced years of air filters and service fees which was a major rip-off.Nowhere on that quote did they address the actual problems that needed to be fixed that same day to get the heat back on for our family of 5 including our 18 month old boy. Surely this is their ‘standard protocol’ when they send someone out because it’s clear they follow a ‘profits over people’ business model.I knew this couldnt be right so I asked around and got a recommendation from a client of mine that happened to know Jeremy at Roby services. Luckily they are actually neighbors so we showed him the quote and Jeremy asked me to call the office Monday morning to send out an HVAC repairman near me out to see what is really going on with the furnace. He let us borrow a few of his space heaters which allowed us to actually sleep in our home on Saturday and Sunday nights. After running a few tests, Jeremy and Anthony determined it was simply just a bad capacitor and the blower motor on a furnace was shot and the cost to fix was just a few hundred dollars.Dont make the same mistake I did by calling the companies that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising just so they can send out a salesman to take advantage of any homeowner they can. Call Roby Services to get an honest diagnosis as to whats really going on with your home. These guys are passionate about what they do and they are professionals that will give you a fair quote to address what needs to be fixed and not try and scare you into thinking you need to build a whole new house just because you have a light switch not working and a clogged drain.

I attempted to contact 6 other contractors in the local area before reaching Roby Services. They answered the phone, called me when they said they would and showed up when they said they would. Those are bare minimum criteria worthy of 3 stars these days. The other 2 stars were earned by Aaron. He did great work, was patient and punctual. I appreciate the job well done.

Roby Heating and Cooling were fantastic! My furnace went out early Sunday morning, I jumped on the chat function online at 630 am and was on the phone with someone by 635. Technician called promptly at 8am to try and trouble shoot the problem over the phone and ultimately scheduled an appointment for 1pm. Jeremy showed up on time =, was very professional, diagnosed, and fixed my problem within 15 minutes. He also addressed a couple other questions I had with my system. I asked about the monthly service plan and he took me through the costs and benefits and I was able to sign up on the spot. Overall excellent service and have recommended to friends and family.

We used Kyle Jackson from Roby Electric to install a chandelier that was not an easy task.We are a design firm in town and called on several electricians who turned the job down due to the difficultly of hanging this particular chandelier. From beginning to end Kyle was professional, calm and dedicated to the task at hand. The chandelier he installed was an oversized two- tiered LED light fixture being attached to a lift system with a 30 high ceiling and he was able to manage alone without help which suprised us all! We could not be more thankful for him and his dedication to completing a job well done. We will certainly hire him again for other jobs and highly recommend him. Swell Decor

I hired Roby electric to clean-up an abandoned job from another electrical contractor. Kyle and his team of 3 other guys worked hard to finish our job for 10 hours straight. While things werent completely prepped for them, they worked through challenges and made sure the job was completed in a timely manner. They were pleasant to work with and I have hired them twice since the first engagement and they have delivered.

We used Roby Electric this past week to have an extra outlet installed up in our attic to wire a security camera system. We had the first appointment on the day and Donald and Kyheem came, on time, to work on it and knocked it out in no time. Donald provided a few options to us before just installing and described what they would actually do before doing it. They left our hone nice and clean and we installed our cameras this weekend so can say that everything is working as expected. Thanks Roby!

Jake Mackey from Roby Electrical services came out today to evaluate some issues with an older electrical system. Jake was very professional and knowledgeable regarding all the electrical issues. He provided a common sense approach to repairs in a cost efficient manner. We had our repair estimate before he left the house. I would highly recommend Jake Mackey at Roby Electrical Services- He was AWESOME!
