    Will and his team were great. He got out quick to give an estimate on a broken sewer line and came in with a better price than some of the other estimates we collected. He worked with our schedule and got his team out first thing on a Monday morning to get the work done. Had the entire sewer line from house to street replaced and covered in no time at all. Will definitely be relying on them for all future plumbing needs.

    I have used Freds twice now, and have been very pleased with both service appointments.     I almost always have a good experience with Freds. This time I needed a replacement bathroom fan. Ive lived in my duplex unit for over 28 years, and the fan had never been replaced. The fan in my guest bathroom was also checked and it was fine. The job was done thoroughly and professionally.

    The guys did an excellent job repairing an old 1-1/2 galvanized drain fitting that had rusted completely through. They literally had to use a chisel and pick to clean out the old threads. I was disappointed that they didnt have a 1-1/2 pipe tap to chase the threads but they explained that they really dont run into this situation very often. Anyway, they got it cleaned up and replaced the galvanized with PVC.

    On a Friday evening noticed my furnace wasnt running. Called Freds and the serviceman came out quickly and found the issue. He called around suppliers in town to find the part and got it installed and my heat back on by 11 pm, less than 4 hrs. At a different house 7 or 8 years ago used them to replace the furnace and AC and have used them at work as well. They arent the cheapest but I can vouch you get great people that do superb, high-quality work that Ive had zero issues with. Very happy with them and fully recommend to everyone in the area.

    Corey was a real gem who very competently diagnosed our water heater issue and got it fixed promptly the same day. He also was willing to explain it all , as well as assist us with another sink issue. We would recommend him with the highest regard to anyone needing plumbing or HVAC work.Two days after Coreyā€™s service call we called him back to trouble shoot our same problem. He was able to figure out from our description that we had a faulty ignition switch and set up Noah to locate the part and return an hour or two later to replace it. Voila it worked !     Fredā€™s moved my washer and dryer hookups to another room and did a fantastic job. I didnā€™t have the washer at the time of installation, but once it arrived and I tested it, I found a leak in one of the new p-traps.     I called Fredā€™s during an extremely cold snap fully expecting in a day or 2, not the same day, getting serviced. In reality I received messages back and forth from Dylan in regards to the visit. Then approximately 2 hours later I heard from Paul. He was warming his van and getting on his way to the house. Pretty fast! Being in the trades, I am often skeptical about other technicians and their ability to troubleshoot or just load the parts canon to see what sticks. However, that wasnā€™t the case. Since my wife was on site, I am not sure how much time was actually spent. But, there was an issue that was not a normal issue. The disconnect switch was actually found to have defect and down the road it will need changed. However, through simple paying attention and not looking for the obvious the problem was found. There was a fuse blown, possibly a couple. Unlike the last tech from another company a couple of months ago, who directed me to replace the fuse and off he went. Just a note if a fuse blows there is a reason! Thanks to Paul from Fredā€™s the issue has been identified. We will be using Fredā€™s for all future work. Thanks to Dylan and Paul much appreciated!!

    Eric responded to a call about a leaky toilet . He explained that fixing a prior bad repairs (not done by Freds) would be time consuming and of uncertain success due to issues created by mismatched parts. He did not pressure me to buy the toilet though Freds, and told me there night be a delay if the style I wanted was purchased through Freds supplier. I purchased the toilet elsewhere and asked Freds to send Eric to install it. He worked efficiently and the toilet was carefully and quickly installed. It was a pleasure to work with Eric. I believe he found the best solution, not one that could have cost more or left me a fixture different from what I wanted.

No one called me to discuss the change in product. I asked if it was possible to get the Kohler toilet? The answer was yes but it would cost more than what he originally estimated. So he made a second trip to the supplier to get the right product. It would have saved the company time and money, if the boss had called me to discuss the issues instead of just substituting a cheaper product.

    After a basement toilet overflow, we were told (by Schoonover Sewer Services) that we would need to arrange with Freds to excavate a position they had marked in our backyard to install a sewer cleanout riser in order to fix the problem. Freds arrived promptly and performed the requested excavation. But Freds found that this was not an appropriate place for a cleanout and, using the same kind of video inspection equipment, located an existing cleanout riser which was the used by Schoonover. Freds performed their job admirably although in the end the $1170 effort was entirely unneeded.

    Our toilet had a leak and we were up all night worrying. We needed a plumber right away. Fredā€™s plumbing came highly recommended by my coworker so I knew I would want to use them. We called on Thursday afternoon 8/18 at around 1:50PM and the receptionist was so rude, told us they could not come out until next week and minimum is 1 hour $115 then will charge per hour. We couldnt wait that long so we took matter into our own hands.This actually became a blessing disguise for us because it turns out that only our floater valve needed replacement. We went to Menards, an employee showed us exactly what part to buy $10.97 plus tax and the youtube video on how to replaced it. It took less than 10 mins to do and now our toilet is back to normal. Leaking toilet is a very simple fix and will save you money if you do it yourself.
