I had my door bell stop working. I called Express Home Repair and I am very glad I did.Richard came to my home and quickly determined the problem with wiring in the basement. He was able to explain it to be clearly and easily. We agreed on the work and set a time.Right on time, he showed up, did his thing and now my door bell works perfectly. He was so easy to work with and pleasant. I very much recommend his service!!!

Edit/addition for Jan 2024: Richard returned to install two TV’s and wall mounts; including a 55” Samsung Frame, which entailed a learning curve for all of us. Richard did a beautiful job, with the same high level of professionalism as before. Thanks again Richard!Richard was thorough in his assessment, transparent about pricing and generally easy to work with. He was quick to set us up with another professional on his team to move our wall/curtain installs forward while he was on vacation. The home professional who completed the work, John (Jon?), was very detail-oriented, skilled and pleasant to interact with. Did a great job on taking a fence down so we could have a shed delivered. He did this on a Saturday in the rain and put the fence back up the same day! He is a perfectionist and came back a couple days later because of a small gap in the fence! Great guy!

They were quick and knowledgeable! They trimmed my front door following a flooring install and removed some extremely rusted toilet seat bolts from a toilet. They fit me in despite both of our complex schedules and did a great job. They were consistent and honest about pricing and made paying easy. I recently bought a farmhouse near Champaign and Im not very handy. Im so thankful that I found Richard. He has come out to my farm on several occasions helping me with whatever I threw his way -- everything from putting up Elfa closets from the Container Store, to TV wall mount installations, hanging pictures and decorations and putting together industrial shelves. He is very friendly and communicative. His prices are fair and I recommend him without hesitation.
