The guys were really professional, the work was clean, they showed up when they said, and on time. They have serviced our furnace and air conditioner for a number of years. I called a couple places to check their hourly rate. 217 had the best, and Ive seen a lot of good reviews. They came just a few hours after I called, even though I said the issue wasnt urgent. We werent getting hot water in one shower. I thought it was the mix valve and might be pricey. However, after checking a few things, including the water heater, it was just the handle that was cracked where it connected on the backside.The guys went to a nearby hardware store for a new handle, and all that took just under an hour. An hour of labor plus the part made for a very reasonable repair.The people I talked on the phone and who came were all very nice and efficient. I will definitely call them the next I need a plumber.

I called 217, INC on Monday, and they came out first thing Tuesday morning for an estimate. They were back on Wednesday morning to do the job. They had the new toilet and water heater installed in two hours. They wore booties to keep the floor clean and hauled away all the trash. They even attached the handicapped toilet seat for my dad. Tanner and Brayden did an excellent job!!! Thank you for your quick reliable service. I will definitely use your services again, and let others know about you.

I had 217 Inc. do a complete basement finish. They provided me the best quote by far, and were able to start in a few weeks when I had some companies tell me they were a year out from being able to start. They completed framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and everything in between. They did an excellent job. Richard and Colton were there working every day and did especially well. They worked around a bunch of equipment I left downstairs and were respectful of our space upstairs as well. I will be using 217 again in the future!

I cant say enough good things about this company. We recently had the hot water heater tank, kitchen sink, and faucet replaced. Tanner, a plumber with 217, came out both times. He was very personable, efficient, and did a fantastic job. He also shopped for all the items and ordered exactly what we described to him we wanted. This made the whole process so much easier for us. We also just had Richard, a carpenter with 217, come over to look at some doors and windows we need fixed. He really seemed very knowledgeable and let us know how the repairs would work. Also, gave us some tips on a couple of little things 217 could do for us to help keep our home safe. Overall, I am totally impressed with 217 especially Tanner and Richard! A little pricey, but isnt everything now. They installed our new HVAC system, which included removing and installing new duct work. Chris did an excellent job explaining how the new system worked as well as guiding us through the new programable thermostat. They left our home spotless and were very personable. Communication with office staff was also outstanding. Great job all around!

On Sept.19 I was suppose to leave for Florida for a week at noon. At 11:20am I realized the ejector pump in our basement had went out and started to leak water out of the pit. I called Lucas at 217 and explained my situation, he was on it! By 4pm that same day a new pump was installed and everything cleaned up. I can not say enough about this company!!!! They will always have my business this is the second time they have fixed a problem for me fast and at the most inconvenient time to have a problem.

The office manager called within 10 minutes and scheduled an AC technician to come within 30 minutes and a hot water tech to follow. Jerod corrected the AC issue and Jeremy solved the hot water. Update (08-04-2023):Ive had the opportunity to work through some of the issues with our new unit, with 217, Inc. They have been responsive in coming out to help ensure that everything is working properly. In retrospect, that is a very important and they have honored their service, even though we got off to a rocky start.******************************************************************I decided to choose 217, Inc. for our new residential AC system, which included the air handler, condenser, lines, and a complete installation package. Initially, I thought their work was satisfactory right after the installation. However, within just a week, the unit started experiencing significant issues with excessive condensation buildup and frequent shutdowns. After the second technician visit, it was determined that the air handler was not draining properly, as it was neither level nor properly sealed. The technician expressed clear disappointment with the workmanship and had to spend approximately 3-4 hours rectifying the situation.Overall, the initial installation was shoddy, and 217, Inc. failed to follow up to ensure that everything was functioning as it should. It was evident that corners had been cut, and old materials were used in places where new ones should have been utilized. When I reached out to my sales rep, Jake Farmer at 217, Inc., to express my dissatisfaction, I received no apology whatsoever. Instead, he offered excuses and attempted to justify the poor work. Can you believe he even claimed that I hadnt paid for the new insulation? The cost in question was a mere additional $10 (if that), a small sum I would have gladly paid on top of the already substantial amount of over $6,000.I added images of after the first install. And where the last tech fixed everything and made it look nice (thanks to him, it is working well so far).Taking all factors into consideration, the quality of the installation work was a mess, and the lack of even the slightest apology for the inconvenience was entirely unexpected. Particularly disheartening is the fact that I had been in discussions to spend an additional $5,000 on a mini-split system with them.Pros: Their dispatch did follow up in a timely manner, but this wouldnt have been an issue if they would have taken some pride in their work to begin with.While I initially had high hopes for this company and even recommended them based on their past service, my recent experience has left me unable to endorse them in any way.

We have an old house, and when we bought the house and needed a sewer inspection, 217 was the only company able to get into the old pipe to perform the inspection.After that positive experience, we called them for a maintenance task shortly after we moved in, and decided to sign up for their HVAC and plumbing plan. We have always found them to be extremely knowledgeable and professional, and the plumbers and technicians are all really nice people. I’d recommend 217 to anyone, including the annual plan. It brings us peace of mind that we’re doing recommended regular service and that we have someone to call (at a discount!) if there’s ever an emergency.

The 217 crew lead by Chris and Steve did a fine job of installing our new heat pump and high efficiency furnace. The layout of my house posed some difficult restrictions for the install, yet 217 worked with me over about three weeks to generate good solutions. They went to extra lengths to install the PVC furnace exhaust pipe up our chimney flue. They installed the heat pump and furnace neatly and accurately. Now we look forward to a comfortable, energy efficient home no matter if the weather is too cool or too hot.

Before he left the first time, he got our old heater to limp along just enough until we got the correct one - no additional fees or anything. It was starting to get cold out, so this was VERY much appreciated! When he came back, the installation was very quick and seamless (less than 3 hours). Very professional, knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and made sure we had all of our questions answered before leaving. He even installed some extra hardware for an unrelated device (humidifier) because it had initially been installed incorrectly - again, no extra charge. Highly recommended, and I will be reaching out to them again for another project I have coming up.

We purchased this house in June. The heat stopped working a couple days ago. It appeared that 217 was the installation company that installed the system. I called them 30 minutes before they opened and left a message with their after hours call center. 15 minutes later I got a call and they said they could be right out. 30 minutes later they came out and found out that the circuit board failed and would have to be replaced. They looked into it and found out that it was still under warranty but had to order the part from Indiana. It wouldnt be in until the midday the next day. Not much I could do but agree.The guy that came out to do the repair called me later that evening and it turns out that they made the trip to Indiana to get the repair first thing in the morning!The level of care, concern for our wellbeing, attention, communication, and professionalism blew me away. Really impressed with them. I have an AC unit that will need to be replaced soon and I will be using them. I will also keep them in mind with other repairs they specialize in. Who do you call in the middle of the night when a pipe burst? 217, Inc.! We had an upstairs bathroom pipe break around 12:30AM. We called every plumbing company in the local area and spoke to all of their answering services but ONLY ONE, 217 Inc., actually called us back. The gentleman that called me back didnt sound upset about getting such a late call and he calmly walked us through turning off the water at the main. The next morning 217, Inc called me before I even had a chance to call them. They sent a tech out first thing. This technician was amazing and Im just upset I forgot his name. The technician went into the wall and repaired the busted pipe in what seemed like less than 10 minutes. He then presented me the bill and I was shocked about how inexpensive it was. I easily estimated double of what I was charged. Since the bill was so low, I asked the technician if he had time to look at our outside faucet that hadnt worked in years. Again, he went into the wall and fixed the busted pipe and replaced the faucet with a winterized faucet. I was shocked how quick and accommodating this company was. I hadnt experienced customer service like this in a while and I truly thank 217, Inc for taking such good care of us. I contacted 217 Inc on Monday night about an issue with my sink. It was not an emergancy so the earliest they were able to come out was Thurday between 1pm and 4pm. The next day I found that my tub was daining the water underneath it so I called them back to let them know I had another problem for them to look at while they were here. On wednesday they called and let me know that they had a morning avalibility that just opened up which was really nice to know that they are very informative and try to get to their customers as quickly as they can.On Thursday around 9am Tanner called me to let me know he was on his way with a estimated time of arrival. When Tanner showed up he was very polite and informative. Tanner let me know what the problems were and he was able to fix them all in a timely manner. Tanner was even missing a part he needed to fix the tub and made a quick run to Ace Hardware so he could fix it.I definitely recommend 217 if you are having any plumbing issues! Ask for Tanner because he was awesome!

Rates are reasonable, service is professional/friendly, and it doesnt take long to get an appointment. They are based in Champaign, but we live in Danville yet both times we have needed service our appointment for a non-emergency wasnt longer than 48 hours. A+++ Service!

Called in the morning and they were able to fit me in that same day which was greatly appreciated. The technician was very knowledgeable and able to clear the clog in garbage disposal very easily. The technician took the time to explain the issue and ways to resolve issue if this comes again as well as maintenance suggestions. The technician could have charged close to double but did not and only charged for the appearance fee which is greatly appreciated and will bring me coming back to this company. Overall great service from call to actual service. Thank you for not taking advantage of us like other companies do.

I would highly recommend 217, Inc.217 did our cabinet installation, wiring, plumbing, built a structural column , did the backsplash and redid our fireplace and built a wall with new door including new dry wall.It was worth it to have one contractor be able to do everything. In the midst of a community full of frozen and burst pipes I was lucky enough to get 217 out to deal with a clogged sewer line with tree roots and install a clean out. They were great! Prompt, helpful and reasonably priced. They ran a camera, did a high power jet wash of the line and eased our worries in a very professional way since we only have the one toilet. Id definitely recommend them.

These guys were absolutely great. They were booked until next week and it was going to be an after hour service charge to get someone to my house any time sooner. Within minutes of getting off the phone, they called me back and told me they could squeeze me in for the normal service hour price. Within 2 hours of my initial call, they were at my house, problem diagnosed, and the pipes under my house repaired. Doug was the technician and he was on time, very knowledgeable, honest, and explained everything in full detail. You can’t beat their pricing either. Was honestly taken aback by how quick and cost efficient this service was.

Very professional. Our company has used them multiple times, and we were extremely happy with the service and price each time.A quick story to prove that their customer service is second to none!I called in the evening for a non-emergency commercial repair, and they were out first thing the next morning. We had a small issue with the plumber who came out to do the repair. Not with the quality of his work (the impossible clog was cleared out), but rather with his attitude. Not enough to contact the company, but enough that people were talking about it. I figured, hey, everyone has a bad day every now and then. However, word of mouth travels very quickly, and apparently it got to someone within 217 INC. I was immediately contacted from 217 Inc to ask me what had happened. The manager sincerely apologized and did everything in his power to make things right. Shortly thereafter, we were contacted by the owner to make sure that we satisfied, and another sincere apology.My point is, stuff happens. There are plenty of companies out there ready to offer a service and take your money for doing it. However, customer service is becoming a lost art. 217 Inc proved to me that they still believe very much in customer service. Above and beyond.I would recommend anyone to use them!!

Jordan exceeded my expectations when he came to service our furnace. Placed a call into 217 at 7:30 am and received a call at 8:00 am to let me know Jordan would be coming between 10 and 12. Jordan called me at 9:40 am to let me know he would be here in 15 min. He looked at the furnace and suspected 2 possible issues as to why it was not working. He ordered a circuit board, which was in stock, so he went to pick it up. Came back to find the issue was not the circuit board so he removed the gas valve, ran back out to pick it up, replaced it and everything was up and running. He was extremely thorough, professional, knowledgeable, credible and trustworthy. I was looking at a smart thermostat so instead of trying to sell me on using their services to install it, he checked to make sure it could be installed and walked me through exactly what to do. They are local, family owned and I will be signing up for their preventative maintenance program for both our furnace and AC system (a great deal that will save me money in the long run). If you are having any heating issues, call 217!

Excellent work - bathroom remodel. Our family has worked with 217 for several years. Prior work included replacement of our furnace and water heater and and servicing minor plumbing and AC issues. When we learned that a leak under our bathtub required replacement of our bathtub, we got estimates from several other companies. 217 was not the lowest, however they impressed us with their knowledge of the problem and we had trusted them with other big jobs in the past. So, we decided to have 217 perform the work. The project required demolition of the existing bathtub and shower wall surround, repairing a leak, mitigating water damage and mold/mildew on the slab, installing the new bathtub and shower surround, installing a new glass sliding door, installing new fixtures (faucets, shower heads, etc.,), and patching up all the drywall to make it paint-ready. The plumbing crew removed the old tub efficiently and had fixed the drain and installed the new bathtub by the end of the first day. Then Richard and the construction crew went above and beyond to ensure the finished product exceeded our expectations. The folks in the office (Cameron, Tony) were courteous and prompt in their communications, and they took the time to answer all our questions and respond to all our concerns. Overall, we are very happy with the work 217 performed and would recommend them to others looking for a local company providing high-quality work and good customer service.

Tanner called ahead to confirm appt on the day off. He looked over the list & got an estimate quickly & then got to work. He kept his shoes clean when he was in & out of the house.
