Maxwell and his apprentice, Devin, are truly exceptional! The prices they quote are incredibly accurate. They come in, do the job, and then theyre out. No confusing chatter or unnecessarily prolonging the job. These guys really know how to put in the graft. Their plumbing knowledge is second-to-none and theyre always happy to share helpful tips and advice. Ive hired them for a range of tasks, including removing and installing a water heater (they were spot-on with the quote down to the last cent), fixing a broken pipe in my kitchen, and installing a new kitchen faucet. When the faucet malfunctioned, it was as late as 6pm, but they still answered my call. They were at my place in Athens at the crack of dawn the next day AND did the pipe installation the RIGHT way. He was punctual, arriving just after sending a text to notify me, and he was both professional and personable! While setting up, Howard noticed that my water pressure was exceedingly high and took the initiative to install a pressure relief valve on my primary water line. Despite the unexpected cost, which was still reasonable, Im extremely thankful that he spotted this issue as it will prevent damage to my 17-year-old piping and other appliances over time. In addition, I had an outdated solar water heater system in my garage that was both an eyesore and took up too much space. When I mentioned this to Howard and asked for a quote to remove it, he simply offered to take it out and dispose of it along with my old equipment at no additional cost! Moreover, my water heater, which was a decade old, had been causing me some problems. Howard replaced the flex hoses without charging me, and then pointed out some rust at the bottom of the heater. He gave me a quote for a new unit (the same model I had before) and suggested that I should consider replacing it soon. What really impressed me was that I didnt feel like he was trying to push me into purchasing something just to make a sale. This was an immense amount of work. Brent and Howard, the dedicated team from the company, did an excellent job of cleaning the site, the sod, and the sidewalk when the job was completed. i was really impressed with their commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction. This could have resulted in a repair and replacement bill running into the thousands. However, once we hired this plumbing service, they promptly performed a video inspection of the entire sewer line system. we found out that all the pipes required lining. while it wasnt a cheap fix, they completed the job swiftly and we were extremely satisfied with the results. would highly recommend their services!

Dealing with a perplexing issue of a leaky bathtub in a condo, which was causing water seepage into the unit below, was quite the challenge. The tub, made of cast stone, was encased in an intricate tile setup, offering no easy access without causing some damage. After careful examination, we found that a closets back wall was adjoining the tub. By creating a small hole, we could gain minimal access to the source of the problem. The leak was located in the downspout of the overflow fixture and it only leaked when the tub was filled to the maximum level and the drain was engaged. Ryan provided invaluable help during the planning process while Devin executed the repair work perfectly, even with the limited access. Their services were offered at a very fair rate. My basements main drain was clogged, so I reached out to Tommy & Sons Plumbing. Brent was the one who responded, and in about 30 minutes, he had completely cleared the drain. Not only did he do an efficient job on the main task, but he also took the time to examine the other pipes and my water heater, pointing out both potential issues and things that were working well. Brent was very educational in explaining the different aspects of the plumbing system, which I greatly appreciated. His knowledge was impressive, and his patience was commendable. He also reassured me about the water pressure in my home. His service was definitely worthy of a 5-star rating, and he was exceptionally courteous throughout the process. I was in the process of switching from oil heat to natural gas and needed two new boilers and an on-demand hot water system. I received four estimates, and Tommy & Sons Plumbing managed to offer the most competitive price, saving me a few thousand dollars. From start to finish, Maxwell and Brent took care of everything, leaving me extremely satisfied with the new boilers. We noticed our sump pump was on and saw that our sewer was backing up into the basement drain. we rang up Tommy & Sons Plumbing due to the great job they did previously when they installed our water heater. they under-promised but over-delivered. a young guy, lets call him devin, got here in no time and got straight to work. he did his best until his mates, ryan and brent, showed up to assist. devin kept us updated on how things were going. they had everything sorted by the afternoon. before leaving, they gave us some supplies to help deal with the pesky roots that were causing the back-up.

The professionalism and efficiency of this plumbing service was top-notch, right from the first phone call to book a diagnostic visit, often on the same or next day. they provided a clear estimate and completed the work promptly. ive had to call upon their services on two occasions, once for a repair in a rental property, and once at my own home. for the rental property job, devin was the technician who came out. the work was a little complex and took around three hours, but the cost was fair and reasonable. for the job at my residence, brent was the technician and while the work was quite straightforward and only took about 15 minutes, the cost felt a bit steep. there wasnt a prior estimate given for this job, just a final bill. despite this minor issue, both jobs were carried out professionally and efficiently. i will definitely continue to use their services, but ill make sure i request an estimate upfront! i would recommend this plumbing service for their expertise and professionalism.
