My elderly parents were having trouble with their old water heater. Placed a call to Remedy to schedule an appointment to have it checked out. Spoke with Macie, who is super nice, and friendly. Within 30 minutes of the call, the technician Blake was pulling up to the house. Water heater was replaced, bigger breaker installed to handle the bigger, new water heater, and a new drain pan. Further inspection revealed the tank under the house was severely rusted and leaking also. It was also replaced, and was a reasonable price.Everyone i encountered at Remedy was very nice, and professional. I would not hesitate recommending Remedy plumbing to anyone. This was our first time using Remedy Plumbing and we will use them again! I called and scheduled an appointment quickly and easily. The woman. Who took my call was professional and explained the process and emails to come including a three hour window of time when the plumber would arrive. By the end of the day, they had already given us a 15 minute window of when they would arrive!The morning of the appointment, I received a text with the name and photo of our plumber as well as a link to give more information, including his current location so you can see how close they are to your home.When Blake arrived, he was friendly and professional. He walked through our home as we showed him the plumbing issue that was first priority. Then we discussed additional services we would want done soon, fully expecting that we would need to make a follow-up appointment. Nope! He called in backup and all of our needs were met. Prior to doing any work, Blake created three invoices with various options and explained each throroughly so we would know the differences between each and the pros and cons of upgrading certain services.Once we selected which option we wanted, he got to work. Blake was great about keeping me in the loop about what he would be doing and showing me what was being done intermittently during the work. When all was done, he walked us through each of the services and explained how to use them and what the servicing schedule would look like in the future.Overall, Im extremely impressed by the professionalism and communication of this company from first call until their service vehicle left our home.Thank you again Blake!

From Kelli McCain:Blake was amazing! He was very thorough and did an amazing job explaining where the problems were along with my options to repair. He answered all of my questions and was so very personable.He also took the time to look over some future projects related to plumbing that we have been considering and gave me multiple options of how the work could be done. He also gave some great suggestions of other things we could consider for the future.At no point did I feel pressured nor did I feel like he was trying to upsell me. I felt that he was genuinely giving me information outside of my realm of knowledge so that I would be aware of future issues that may arise. He was so helpful and I truly appreciated his approach, kindness, patience, personality, and honesty. I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation!

Everything was top notch. Two men (one was the plumber, Blake, who quoted the job) showed up and completed it the same day. The price remained the same and the area was cleaned up before they left. Blake showed my daughter the work (in the crawl space) and how to shut off the new water valve. The work under the kitchen sink was professional and also left clean. We couldnt ask for a better service.

We had a leak in our tankless water heater. Blake was able to come check it out within 48 hours and diagnosed the problem almost immediately. He gave a few options for the repair, all of which were reasonable, and was able to get everything fixed up within 2 hours. Would definitely recommend these folks!!

I am so grateful that we found Remedy plumbing. We have used another local plumbing/AC Company and although they did good work, they were always overpriced. Remedy has Terrific response time, great communication and reliable service. Our plumber was Chris, and he was extremely professional and friendly. He was able to complete the job successfully, quickly and add an extremely reasonable price. We loved the fact that there was very upfront pricing. We knew how much the job was going to cost, and if a particular thing had gone wrong what that would have cost. My husband and I looked at each other and assumed that it was going to be the higher priced option, but he was able to fix it at the lower quote. That was extremely important in my review of them. It’s a matter of trust. We are definitely going to use Remedy for all of our future plumbing needs And recommend them to any of our friends who need work done.

Everything was left clean and dry, and I was left glad that I chose the right plumber! Also, it was easy to talk to a person and their hold music is not obnoxious - that’s a good sign!

We had a huge plumbing emergency that was a large project. Remedy did a fantastic job for a great deal. They worked with me on the largest amount of money I could pay, giving me a generous discount. All the workers were very polite and professional. There was an issue with my bank that made me not able to pay until the day after the work, and while I felt terrible about it they were very patient and understanding. Ive hired them twice before this and they were equally good both those times. They always provide multiple options for fixes at different costs so you can pick what works for your budget. Ill definitely pick them if I ever have another plumbing problem, and would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. I doubt you can find better.

We had a slab leak and to avoid the headache of this happening again we chose to repipe and doing so we got assigned Anthony . His help also did a phenomenal job with running lines through our attic crawl space . I would highly recommend Remedy Plumbing. I called them after I had dealt with another company that day that wasnt able to fix the problem of my toilets not flushing and caused stuff to start backing up into my bathtubs. It was on a Friday. I called Remedy Plumbing and they sent technician Eric out within an hour or so. Eric was professional and knowledgeable and he was able to get my septic system flowing again. He kept me up to date on what he was finding. He did tell me it was a temporary fix. I told Eric I wanted a permanent fix. Then Jamie called me from Remedy Plumbing and gave me options to permanently fix the problem. And I chose the option I felt was the best and that was replacement of all my pipes from the septic to the house and under the house. That next week they were at my house they sent technician Jay and he was also professional and knowledgeable and able to explain on my level (someone who doesnt know anything about plumbing). He kept me up to date on his findings. In the next few days I had several other technicians Jamie, Phillip and the owner of the company came. I cant say enough great things about this company. I will definitely call them again if needed, and recommend them to my family and friends.

Laughing as they compared that task (easy) to managing inside the foot and a half crawl space under my house they’d been in minutes before.Would recommend for any residential plumbing or gas line needs. Its incredibly difficult to find a good plumber in Athens! We are a business who ran into a clogged toilet issue and not only was every other company we spoke with discourteous and unhelpful, they had no openings. I spoke with two ladies at Remedy and both were so friendly! In comparison to other plumbers, this surprise was a breath of fresh air. I was informed of the entire process so Id know what to expect and will have someone out tomorrow if not later today. Wish I wouldve called Remedy first!

Remedy replaced a broken water main to my house. After my initial call to them, I received a call back with schedule details and the name of the plumber assigned. I then got notice from plumber (Matt) that he was on his way and I could track him. He ascertained the problem quickly and the work was set up for the following morning. Once again, received tracking notice he was on his way. Matt, and his associate Cole, performed the line replacement without having to dig up the front yard. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Received follow-up call the next day to see if I was satisfied. I was very impressed by the attention to customer service. And kudos to Matt and Cole for a job well done..

Travis was a wonderful technician. Had hot and cold cartridges replaced. Very easy fix to just swap out the cartridge. Last time I had a cartridge replaced it was 180$. To replace both was 360$ so I guess it’s in the ballpark with other plumbers. Was hoping for a little more reasonable charge for replacing both, but the service was excellent.
