My husband and I have used United Air Temp several times in the past and they continue to exemplify why we will use them in the future. This time they placed a tankless water heater in our home. They scheduled all the necessary permits and appointments to ensure a successful replacement. They used drop cloths, shoe covers and vacuumed to keep our home clean. They are always courteous and respectful. Thank you United Air Temp.

Our furnace stopped working during Thanksgiving weekend on the first below freezing day of the year. Marcus came on Sunday after we called and went above and beyond the call of duty. He was fabulous, with a very kind and helpful personality and quickly fixed the problem. The unit was still under warranty so that was another plus!! Highly recommend United Air Temp!!! As usual, UAT scheduled the warranty service on my furnace for the same week. Derek was knowledgeable, professional and respectful. He pointed something out that potentially could be an issue and explained in laypersons terms what it meant and how to identify if it ever became a problem. I appreciated his honesty in not fabricating a problem that didn’t exist and charging me for unnecessary future service. He also finished expeditiously. Excellent job overall!

Wow where do I start!! United Air Temp AC Repair Technician Jeremiah Boyd is professional, knowledgeable about this craft, courtesy, thorough and took the time to make sure my family was aware of what repairs were needed and why. Mr. Boyd came to her and was able to repair my AC unit in record time, unlike the Sears Home Repair team that performed questionable service that resulted in my family being without air cooling system for over 3 weeks.

Drew came on-time which I really appreciated. He went right to work to find the hole where the refrigerant was leaking. He found the hole and told me that I had two options: replace the entire system or repair. He did a great job of finding the hole! In the two years that Ive had the problem other techs could not find the hole. I decided to have it fixed even though I know Im just buying time. Drew came back and did the repair. He was very efficient and thorough. He cleaned up the area where he worked. My dog and I are so happy that the system is working thanks to Drew. I am extremely grateful for all of Drews hard work, that other techs from other companies could not do. I plan to request his service again in the future.

I live in an older 3 story townhouse. Since Ive been here it has been nearly impossible to cool the upper level with the bedrooms. Sergio told me about the zone AC system during my regular HVAC maintenance. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to do it. It resulted in my room actually being cool - however, with the fun duct work set-up, my house is unusual *everything is set-up fun/figure it out style*, it was really trying to get things to work properly. Sergio did everything he could and finally asked hia manager Hector to come take a look. It took some work and persistence, which both gentlemen exhibited over the course of a few weeks this summer. Two heads - solved the problem. Now my entire house is a comfortable temperature. Goodbye hot, sleepless nights! Thank you, Sergio and Hector, and the United Air Temp installment crew.

Rudy is amazing!! I had pretty significant leaks causing my water bill to be extremely high. Rudy was timely, professional, and very kind. He figured out where all the leaks were quickly and repaired them perfectly. He is very knowledgeable with his craft and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. Melvin was great, courteous, prompt and proactive in finding the source of our problem with the a/c and solving it. he also took the time to make a detailed schematic drawing of how our a/c works and what to look for should any problem arise with the gas connection. he also recommended and replaced a part on our outside unit to reduce the % of energy being used to run the a/c.

I have had a maintenance contract with UAT for 18 years. They have always been responsive particularly in emergency situations and produce quality work. Prices are on the high side but you know you’re getting good support. Derek, a technician came out this week for the furnace maintenance. He was extremely kind and professional. I also want to comment on the technician that came out to help me one horrid day last year, Mike Tidman. (I had this review typed up and then never sent it!) I had a basement full of water and he was extremely kind, courteous, knowledgeable about my situation and went above and beyond helping me cleaning up the water and creating a temporary fix until I could get new equipment. Michael was extremely professional and helped keep me calm and a very stressful situation.

Our unit is at the end of its life walked me through exactly what steps we needed to take to ensure we have heat this winter and air conditioning in the summer. It’s going to be expensive, but looking forward to having United Air go over options for upgrading our system

Where we thought this may be a costly fix, Hector came out day 2 to do a second complete check, found that the thermostat was incorrectly programmed and fixed that. No additional services were needed and the A/C was back up and running. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for services but United Air Temp. Great thanks to them all.

During a routine spring maintenance checkup, Edgar found a leak in the coil of my AC. He ordered the necessary replacement part(s) and told me I would be notified when they arrived so I could schedule the repair, which I did. Edgar called enroute to my house and arrived a few minutes early with an associate to help him with the job. Edgar worked diligently for several hours to remove the old coil, install the new one, reconnect everything and test the system. He cleaned up thoroughly and made sure the system working perfectly before he left. I was impressed by UATs quick response to fix my problem and especially with Edgars professional professionalism and great attitude. Well done, UAT.

The technician’s name was Anthony and he was very nice and professional. He checked the thermostat and furnace and identified the issue to make the repair. He communicated well when I asked questions which I appreciate. The repair was completed within 1.5hrs.

I went with United for a complete replacement of my air conditioning system. Things definitely didn’t go great initially. The install didn’t go flawlessly, and there were multiple calls to come back to service within the first two months. The team at United was responsive through out. Given what I went through, I’d still go with this company because of their commitment, dedication, and professionalism throughout a very frustrating situation. I believe that my case was unique and isn’t indicative of what to expect. It’s reassuring to know that even if something doesn’t go super smooth, this company stands behind their work.

We called to replace our filter to the humidifier. We were told that UAT couldn’t just replace the filter but had to also provide a cleaning. We just got our air ducts cleaned the day before and the technician for UAT said our humidifier was clean. He even called to see if their cleaning was necessary and was told it was due to some issues with liability. The cleaning consisted of wiping down the housing around the humidifier and sanding the nozzle where the water came out. This was minimal, at best and as a result, cost me an additional $35.50. I fail to see what liability there is in this and the minor cleaning that was done should be considered a part of the covered maintenance. I’ve been a customer of UAT for about 30 years and am feeling as though this company is charging for every possible thing imaginable, even for customers on contract.When I called to set up the appointment, I asked that the technician have the filter with them as it was dirty and needed to be replaced. I was told by the repair dept. personnel that the tech would have to come out and assess the problem and then would order the part and come back to replace the filter. This is a waste of time for both UAT personnel and the customer. I asked to speak to a supervisor about this and was denied. I then asked if Mike Diorgano was still running the company and the UAT person I was speaking with didn’t know that name. When Gabe Ivanescu ran UAT, we didn’t have these issues of not carrying supplies on the trucks. And a contract seemed to get you more coverage than what we’re getting now. I don’t begrudge them from making a profit, but it appears the “value” in being a contract customer is losing its luster.Bob McCoy
