Toilet tank leak the day after Christmas. GP sent Leo to fix it within a couple hours. He arrived as promised, worked efficiently, was friendly and responsive, and had a replacement part in his truck. GP does excellent work; we call them first for problems.

The plumber whom I had been using for many years retired three years ago and only recently have I found a replacement that I like. My first experience using The Gentleman Plumber was in early February 2024. During the course of that month, I have had several conversations with the supervisor, Andy Perkins, about various plumbing issues at my house, including problems with my sump pump discharge pipe. On each occasion, he has listened attentively to my problems and taken the time to recommend the best and most economical way for me to address them. I also have had a good experience with Cesar, a member of the plumbing crew whom Andy supervises. Cesar works efficiently and cleans up the area after he has completed the job. I will continue to use The Gentleman Plumber for all of my plumbing needs.Leo unclogged my bathroom sink today. He did a very thorough job. He both explained to me what is causing my sink to clog up and described what could be a longterm solution. He is a true professional.

Recently we had to redirect a waste line in our house in order to open up our first floor for a kitchen renovation. We originally thought that work would end up obstructing one of the only windows in the basement much to our chagrin. HOWEVER, the Gentleman Plumber Team was able to figure out a way to put the pipe in the ceiling and not obstruct the window. You cant get any better than this! While the name sounds expensive, this company is competitively priced and they wont rip you off. They are honest, have professional integrity, and will get the job done in a professional manner. This company is highly responsive, show up on time, and works quickly. The Gentleman Plumber is the best plumbing company I have encountered so far and I have hired a few since living in Alexandria for 21 years. The Gentleman Plumbers master plumber Andy Perkins has a great demeanor and really knows what he is doing. I had a very complicated situation at my house where another plumber from another company had come in and created a lot of problems and did not do the work up to code. Andy came in, quickly identified the issues and promptly remedied all of the problems in less time than I expected and the bill was extremely reasonable, because they work fast. I cant speak highly enough about this company! A diamond in the rough, a real find!!

Leo Bustamante was the guy assigned to my repair job. It wasn’t a small job, the home’s old original cast iron sewage drain stack had developed a large crack and needed to be replaced. The Gentleman Plumber gave a good price compared to other estimates I got, Leo was polite and professional and got the job done.
