Having grown up in the area, and recently returned, Ellingson was the first place I reached out to when I needed a new hot water heater. The staff is very professional, prompt, and patient. The products they use are very high quality. The service tech arrived right on time, and very effeciently replaced my hot water heater, and was great about answering questions regarding the new unit, and post installation clean-up! I would encourage anyone looking for THE BEST service, and equipment to contact Ellingson’s!

My 8 year old Trane AC stopped working sometime in the afternoon on a Monday. I called for service that night 8pm) and the technician was at my home by 1pm the next day. He (Jeff) found the issue ( fried capacitor and wiring in condenser) within 5 minutes. The new capacitor and wiring was installed, tested and compressor pressure tested in another 15 minutes. Excellent service IMO. All covered by their great 12 warranty. Couldn’t be happier.

Absolutely amazing experience with Ellingsons.We needed to have electrical installed for a hot tub and the company weve been loyal customers with for several years gave us a quote that was $3500 over what Ellingsons quoted.Jordan who came to do the bid was great, very personable and took the time to explain what they would do, understood our desire for it not look obnoxious.My husband handled most of the follow-up conversation with Jordan was commented how responsive he was and communicated clearly.Jessica in the office is also very friendly and polite.And then Mike, the man who actually come out to do the work, what a great guy. And it turned out that he was part of the team that did the electrical in our house when it was built. He was just the nicest guy and the work was exceptional, everything was tucked out of sight and he didnt leave a scrap of any sort of material behind.Im so grateful to the person who referred me to Ellingsons as Id heard in conversation that they are really expensive. Ellingson Plumbing and Heating installed both the plumbing and heating systems in our house which was constructed last year. We were very pleased with their work and very impressed with their installers. A salesman out right away to discuss my options for replacements and an electrician out to wire a temporary furnace to keep my house warm until the new one could be installed. My main floor drain my house had backed up at 9pm at night and I made an emergency service call to Ellingson’s and Service Tech Jon was dispatched and was fortunately there within the hour and scoped the drain with the camera to confirm the blockage and had to run and get snake more suitable for the job as it was a long run.Quick, straight to the point and I knew the best and worst case scenarios before the job was started.Excellent work Jon and Ellingson’s, we appreciate your hard work and coming out late at night.

Ellingson’s acquired Greeley Heating were purchased my furnace from 2 years ago and still have warranty. I called at 4pm because it was not working properly, they had a technician call me within 15 minutes and he arrived within a half hour. Jeff was professional and thorough. He didn’t just come and get it partially working, he stayed until he knew it was performing 100%. He made some adjustments to the original set up to ensure it’s performing at its best. The tech that came out to my house was extremely pleasant, he was in and out within 10 minutes. The pricing wasn’t explained well enough for me to understand that I would be paying for a minimum of 1 hour plus travel time plus a “truck” charge (whatever that is) I was told that I could not make an appointment without authorizing a credit/debit card first and it was explained to me that it would absolutely be used if I didn’t not pay the bill in full within a reasonable amount of time. That’s fair so I made the appointment and got the leak repaired. When I called to pay, I was told that they do not keep cards on file?? I’m a bit shocked at the final pice of 122$ for a small plastic pipe fitting but I’m also not current on pricing for plumbing services so that’s on me. Put it this way.. although our tech was really a very nice guy, and the reason for the five star review, I will repair my own going forward as there was less than 12$ worth of parts and 10 minutes (if that) needed to resolve the small leak. I simply can’t afford to spend money like that. I suppose I should be thankful that they came out at all given that they are obviously geared more towards commercial work or big jobs. If I needed a whole new system, I would use them again so there’s that. ;)

I had Ellingson wire my new garage. This required a trench from the house to the new building, 8 lights, numerous outlets and a new electrical panel. They were responsive, with Jordan coming out and talking through my thoughts, and he quickly sent a plan for the space. Mike, the electrician, then showed up and we again talked through things to make sure he was doing what I was looking for. He was professional, efficient and the job got done when they said it would so the concrete guys could get in and start work on the driveway. This was the most recent of a number of projects Ive done with the company, and I highly recommend Ellingson.

We were VERY impressed with the installation of our new boiler system. The two young men that did the installation were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and thorough. They answered all my questions in terms that were very understandable and listened/acted upon my concerns. In addition to doing an efficient job of installation, they actually made a boiler system look attractive, believe it or not. While they were installing it, they also discovered flaws in the previous installation (by a different place of business) and corrected them. At my request, they also inspected my old (beginning to leak) water heater and advised me on some possible options. Having decided to replace it due to its age, I will also be having Ellingsons do that project. Everyone Ive been associated with at this business, from sales people, to those doing the estimates, to the installers have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

All started when I called Ellingson Plumbing for a checkup of an old furnace of a recently purchased vacation lakefront property. Two nice knowledgeable guys came over and gave us an estimate for the repair. They actually repaired one crucial element that very cold night. In the process they also fired up our gas fireplace that we didn’t know how to start. We noticed how friendly and caring they were plus one of them spoke perfect Spanish which is our preferred language. That was a good surprise! Their recommendations were to either fix this old Trane or get a new one. We followed the recommendation to get a new one.I started getting bids for our new vacation rental 17-year-old furnace and ended up buying one from Ellingson. Why? Because of Matt Anderson’s extraordinary, top communication skills. This guy loves what he does for a living and enjoys interacting with customers. In comparison with the other two competing sales guys, Matt outperformed them by a long shot. The other two were just employees doing a seemingly boring job, but Matt acted as if he owned the company. He passionately and intelligently explained every detail and answered every question, even after hours, always with a smile.And on top of that he got us the best value and service. Also the installers were very friendly, leaving the place super clean and tidy.Since I have owned my own business for the last 34 years, I can easily recognize quality and dedication. It’s no wonder Ellingson has successfully been in business for so many years; obviously they’re doing a lot right!

Today we had one of your repairmen come to check our water heater...he could have done many dollars worth of unnecessary repairs and we would NEVER have known better. Instead he came in said hed checked what WE thought it was and gave us some options to proceed with. One was as minor as turning up a temperature on the heater. In todays world it would have been so easy to charge us for unnecassary work and once again we are pleased with Ellingsons, the outstand and honest people working there. Ellingson’s to the rescue, again! We recently purchased an electric range to replace our gas range. We didn’t know we needed a professional to disconnect the gas range, until we did. Cullen’s was set to deliver our electric range and haul away the old one between 9:30 and 11:00 am on Monday. We called Ellingson’s in a panic Monday morning. They got here at 9:15, disconnected the gas and Cullen’s got here at 9:37. That never happens. We so appreciate Ellingson’s getting here so fast and taking care of the situation perfectly. When we moved into this building 10 years ago, it had problems with the boiler system and in-floor heat. We had three different heating companies come out and all failed to solve the problem.
