I had an excellent experience with Cardinal. I found a leak under my kitchen sink. I easily scheduled an appointment online. Received a confirmation by email and text, as well as a phone call the day before my appointment to reconfirm. Today, I received several texts letting me know the status of my appointment. Daniel called me to let me know when he would arrive, which was a bit early to the window I had chose but it was perfect! I love not having to wait around for someone. Daniel was quick, polite, professional, and solved the problem very quickly. He cleaned everything up and showed me before and after pictures and that the leak was fixed. Easy to approve the estimate on his iPad and pay the bill with cc when complete. I received the receipt electronically as well. Excellent experience and highly recommend Daniel and Cardinal.

We had two small but irritating problems in need of repair by a professional plumber: a leaky outdoor faucet with an older sillcock model that no longer exists, and a leaky shower which needed its cartridge replaced. Local friends recommended Cardinal and so we called them. Everything about the experience was fantastic. The plumber, Willie, called before arriving on time and then patiently and professionally walked me through everything he did. He was professional, efficient, and friendly and found the simplest solution to each problem. We will definitely call Cardinal for any future plumbing needs. Highest recommendation!

Jake was prompt on the scheduled service time, provided a knowledgeable diagnosis and gave a couple of different repair options along with cost.The work was done timely, mess cleaned up afterward and overall I am satisfied. Only downside was it was a little pricey, in my opinion. For the work that was done I believe it was overcharged but I needed it done and did not feel like shopping around.Would use them again but will plan better and get additional quotes.

Cardinal sent Jake one of their plumbers out for a seasonal service of our tankless hot water heater.Jake showed up on time, he had on a clean uniform and wore protective boot covers. He was extremely pleasant and greeted our two dogs.He got to work and looked over the whole water system, checking faucets, water pressure toilets etc. The tankless water heater service lasted about 45 minutes.I would highly recommend requesting Jake for any plumbing issues.

Sunday afternoon I called Cardinal Plumbing because out of the blue my basement started smelling like moldy. For my surprise I got an appointment for Monday at 2pm. On Monday 10/19 Abram Everist arrived in my house prompt at 2pm and I received a text message just a few minutes before he arrived saying that he was on his way. To many a long story short, I will make a list of things he did in one visit.He tight my house front and back faucet, he Replace the cartridge in a single handle lav faucet 3 emergency shutoff valve bathrooms, but the biggest job was the water heater. We weren’t expecting to replace it but he pointed a few issues on our current one and a smell of gas that got it replaced as well. He cleaned the sun pump were the smell was coming from and after he finished it all the smell was gone. We are very satisfied with his work. Abram is an excellent professional, very clean, friendly and we definitely will recommend him for our friends. Cardinal Plumbing works with excellence and it’s employees proof it. Hugo was great, really took care of us. Had an obnoxious hard to find leak, but Hugo found it after some trouble shooting, fixed it, made sure the leak didnt come back, and did so without making any mess. Super friendly and respectful the entire time. He also diagnosed and fixed a smaller issue for free (i.e., kitchen sink water pressure).Admittedly, we didnt shop around for another plumbing technician given the reviews on Google, but it does not feel like Cardinal/Hugo are gouging you on price. After the work was done, we received pictures of everything that was completed, along with a detailed invoice. Not an expert in plumbing, but everything seemed fair and really reasonable.If you live in Alexandria, would strongly recommend asking for Hugo, the guy is going to take care of you.

Its actually a 4.5. The work is excellent; Jorge is a professional -- knowledgable, experienced, and just a great guy! And, he customized the job, which was to install a quality valve to a water line, then connect 1/4 tubing from that line to my refrigerator ice maker. I thought the price was 20% too high, but then again the company accommodated my tight time line and did excellent work.

Cardinal Plumbing has been very efficient, professional, and reasonably priced while doing work for me to replace a PRV and water heater expansion tank, modify some plumbing fixtures for me, and install a sink. They were very responsive and flexible in scheduling over the phone, and their technicians showed up right on time and were respectful in conducting their work, making sure to wear shoe covers and cleaning up very thoroughly after themselves. After finding out that my HVAC system was leaking in my basement because the whole thing was rusted and needed to be replaced, I was horrified, annoyed, and apprehensive. I got several quotes, ranging in price and scope. Cardinal was absolutely a standout. Whole other companies sent salespeople to give me quotes, Cardinal sent a senior HVAC technician. He spoke with me, at length, about my system, the proposed repairs, recommendations, and assessments of my existing systems to ensure they were brought up to code.We had our hot water heater replaced by a home warranty company a year or two ago, and the technician pointed out several issues with the install that were not up to code and potentially damaging in the long run. These werent expensive fixes either - small things to prevent future damage like the water heater flooding our basement.Cardinals quote came in significantly less than other, larger companies, but they also sent a qualified HVAC tech to assess the system initially. My quote was not rushed, the tech was incredibly knowledgeable, but also open, friendly, and receptive to all of my questions. Cardinals quote came with a similar guarantee as other companies: a 10 year manufacturers warranty and 10 years labor guarantee. What I didnt realize initially is that it also came with a full years service of HVAC and plumbing preventative care. They will come and flush my water heater, inspect my HVAC, etc, all free of charge.They came today to install our HVAC system. Our quoted time was 8 AM-12 pm. I was notified via text that they were on route at approximately 8 am, and given a link to track their progress to my house. The first tech arrived at around 8:30, and walked me through the installation process. Installation of any hardware can be a bit noisy, and occasionally it was, as was expected. What fully shocked me is how the installers left my house. I had come down periodically and seen a few grease spots on the floor, making a mental note to clean it up later. What I didnt realize is that the installing technicians would leave my house cleaner than it was before they came. You could never even tell they were here.I dont think I have ever been so thoroughly impressed by a contracting company in my life. I will recommend Cardinal to anyone, for any service they provide. They have gone far and beyond what I have expected. If your HVAC system needs a full replacement: these are the people to call. I am so glad we hired them!

Brian came to fix our garbage disposal. He was excellent! He was prompt, professional, thorough, and importantly fixed our disposal. These guys were great!! The two service techs took the time to explain to me all the options I had to get my old A/C system running properly on all pricing levels. They were honest and fair and patient to explain my options. Obviously not all about just getting your money and running. They installed a hard start kit on my compressor to buy it some time before I will inevitably have to get a system replacement. They were honest about the R-22 situation being phased out and why a recharge was not needed or feasible. I appreciate this because I feel I have been lied to before about that. The pricing seemed fair for this area maybe a little on the high side but that’s what you pay for to have actual professionals fix your HVAC. I will use them again for my HVAC needs. It was very interesting to watch a seasoned plumber work in my kitchen. I’m talking about the work done by Zach Eanes of Cardinal Plumbing when he replaced my old ceramic sink with a new stainless steel sink. He first encountered a big problem when the new sink I bought was a bit too big to fit in the original granite countertop hole. Fortunately, with the resource available at Cardinal, the countertop hole was successfully cut in order to accommodate the new sink. Then Zach flawlessly installed the beautiful Kohler Staccato. The hard work and professionalism that Zach displayed in getting the job done was remarkable. All’s well, thanks to Zach.

Brian came out and cleared two horrendous blockages in our sewer line. He went into the clean out and freed up the blockage from the clean out to the street. Then he also had to clear it from the clean out to the house. Brian took the time to put a camera down into the pipe and found the main source of the blockage. Instead of just punching a hole through it like so many do, he took the time to completely clear it by blasting through it over and over again until he eradicated it completely. I had a plumbing emergency at my place and called Cardinal to help me out. A technician came over and said that there was no shut off valve for the burst pipe and we needed one installed. After the work was done and we paid the technician, we found out there was an existing shut off valve just a foot away from where he worked. We were pretty upset, but when we called Cardinal to complain, they were really cool about it.They sent out another technician to fix the issue for free. The new guy removed the old valve and put in a new one in the right spot. It was a relief to see how seriously Cardinal took customer service, even after a mistake. I definitely recommend Cardinal for any plumbing issues you might have. They really do care about making sure youre happy with their work.Hopefully, next time it will be a five star service from the beginning.

Marc did a great job! He very patiently worked to reseat a Moen single handle shower faucet handle that refused to cooperate. Once he had the faucet fixed he had some concerns about the hot water: checked the heater and circuit breaker but all seemed fine. I appreciated very much the care he took to make sure everything was as it should be. I always use Cardinal Plumbing because their technicians are always experienced, professional and friendly. Not to mention very polite.

I use Cardinal for both my own home as well as for properties I am flipping. Ever since I found this company, I dont bother with anyone else. They are 5 stars across the board. I see Cecile the most and he is just fantastic. I feel so well taken care of and never taken advantage of. I should mention tho that every technician Ive encountered from Cardinal has been professional, respectful, knowledgeable, & thorough. They take the time to explain any issues in real language as well as what services they have performed in detail. You are presented with options whenever possible in terms of good, better or best repairs, which I truly appreciate. Also, it doesnt matter when I call or what its about - they always send someone either same day or next day. And the follow up customer service is top notch as well! I worry that by posting such a stellar review they might become too busy, but this company deserves the accolades.

One of the best experiences I have ever had with contractors working inside my condo for major maintenance, renovations, or upgrades. From first contact to final completion, Cardinal has performed well beyond my expectations and far exceeded peer companys performance. Where many HVAC installers I called didnt even answer the phone, Cardinal had someone at my house, twice, within 2 hours of a cold call for help. Initial troubleshooter Curtis, Salesman Josef, dispatcher Joy, and installers Garrett and Dominic were all extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive, on time, and diligent. We had a dificult install that included a huge crane to lift the unit to a 7th story rooftop, and nothing was left to question or chance. Great safety and zero damage to the condo was maintained throughout the entire install. Cardinal is a great company with fantastic management and people! They may come in at a higher price than others, but to me, it was totally worth the peace of mind that nothing was going to get damaged, nobody was going to get hurt, and the HVAC was going to work as advertised when installed. 10 out of 10! USE THIS COMPANY!!!

OnTech clearly had not been trained in HVAC systems and their diagnoses was completely wrong, luckily Dominic had no problems quickly and easily installing the new thermostats. Cardinal Plumbing was recommended to me by my sister and my experience with them was excellent. I received a text message with a picture of my service technician before he arrived. Shortly after, Kyle made a courtesy call to confirm the issue and to make sure he had the parts needed to complete the project without having to go out again for additional parts. Kyle and Shawn were both friendly and courteous. I had a secondary issue that I brought up while they were here and they attended to it quickly. After assessing the two issues, Kyle gave me some options for our garbage disposal and provided a good explanation of each product so I could make an informed decision. Kyle and Shawn worked quickly and efficiently to fix the problems. They did a good job explaining billing and acknowledgment of services. I really appreciated their help. On a follow up visit to install cartridges, Kyle was extremely helpful. He installed the cartridges, and then checked on two smaller issues that I had noticed in the meantime. He also provided useful information about how to prevent future issues, as well as what to look for in the event of a water backup. I will continue to use Cardinal Plumbing in the future.

I have nothing but excellent experience with Cardinal Plumbing Heating & Air. I started by using their plumbing service and was very happy with them and switched my AC contract from other company to them as well. And both teams are knowledgeable, honest, and very helpful.We recently replaced both furnace. When the estimator came, he explained the types of furnace and the brands they have. A very professional team of three people came shortly after the contract was signed. Because there some issues builder didn’t take care, they also fixed those for us for the safety concern. It took them two days to complete the job and we are very happy with the team sent to us.The team returned a week later when the roofer showed up to add a flute. Again, they work with roofer and finally complete the installation. Again, we are very happy with their work.The only reason I gave a four star instead of five is there is a small part of cosmetic part of job was promised to be replaced and still hasn’t being done. Although the office was trying hard to contact the person to figure it out, we didn’t hear anything back. Because the entrance of attic is in my closet, so I can’t still put my closet back to how it was(I needed to take the shelves down so they can get the furnace into the attic).They are not the least expensive one, but their technicians are all doing a great job. Just hope the communication can be smoother and they can wrap up the project as they promised. It maybe a small thing for them, but it affects my daily routine because my closet is still covered with bedsheets and some of my clothes have moved to different bedroom to wait for them to finish the last job.

I had an appointment yesterday to clean the duct work and am very satisfied.Updated: March 18, 2024They came this afternoon to inspect my HVAC and did a great job. I have mold and need a duct and coil cleaning .This morning they came and replaced my sink trap. They initially diagnosed it in November and tightened it. But I wanted it fully replace to ensure no leaks. Everything is working great and looks great.Original:They did a fantastic job and left the area spotless when they left.I had a leak from my main pipe and Cardinal was the first plumbing service that came out and actually tested to see how and why the water was sporadically appearing. They gave me a great estimate and were available to do the work that very same day.
