Shannon (owner) was amazing! Late in the evening on a Sunday, with a snowstorm looming, Shannon offered to try to diagnose my plumbing problem via photos sent by text. He immediately understood the problem and called back with a quick fix that I was able to complete myself. Shannon could have insisted on an appointment and charged me the emergency call fee, but not only was he willing to help, but he saved me money AND the inconvenience of 2-3 days without the use of my kitchen sink (which would have been a crippling inconvenience).HONEST, HELPFUL, and KIND. Our old electric hot water heater died the same day we brought our new baby home from the hospital. It was a big day! We called O’Neill and they came and got us up and running the very same day. They were professional and did very high quality work. Many years later when I had a maintenance question they talked me through it right over the phone rather than making me pay for an unnecessary service call. I’d recommend them without hesitation and they are at the top of my list when I have a plumbing need.

If you are looking for an experienced plumber with an ability to troubleshoot difficult issues, Shannon and ONeil is your solution. Extremely impressed by Shannon at ONeil Plumbing. We were in the middle of a kitchen renovation when we realized one evening we didnt have hot water. We called and Shannon walked us through finding the hot water shut off valve we didnt even know existed and turning it back on. We then noticed our current water heater was leaking internally and immediately Shannon loaded up his truck with a new one and was at our home within an hour. He worked with our home warranty company and was very knowledgeable and professional. The whole team from the call, scheduling, and installation was amazing. Would recommend his services.

I contacted ONeill Plumbing hoping to fix my noisy faucet.Shannon ONeill called me after I sent in my request and let me know that he thought, based on our conversation, the issue was something different. He quoted me a fair price and came out the very next day to do the work. Right away he put on shoe covers and laid out tarps to protect surfaces. There was a minor problem during installation when he realized a part was faulty. He came back the next day and finished the job. He stuck to his quote despite the extra work, and was very friendly and professional. We had a basement flood in our new home and unfortunately called another plumbing service to help us with the issue. A week after our sump pump was “fixed” we were facing more issues and needed to find a new plumber. On a Sunday. During a big storm.I called O’Neill based on the reviews. The scheduler gave me a one hour time window during which someone would arrive. Shortly after, Shannon called me on the way to my house and spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me trying to understand the issue and what I was hoping to have assessed. He was very thorough, kind and conversational.Shannon arrived and immediately offered to take off his shoes and laid down tarps everywhere he was working in the house, including down the stairs. Greatly appreciated - it was raining and we have young kids.Shannon spent 4-5 hours at our house, on a Sunday, in the rain, fixing our issue. He made sure we both understood the problem, causes and solutions to our issues. This was a large, unexpected expense, so we were very appreciative of the thought and explanation that went into his services. He took pictures throughout the job and shared a detailed report with me when he was done. I don’t know much about sump pumps, but he made sure I understood what he did and how to work/monitor/manage the system (luckily theres not much to do!)Shannon called me the next day to follow up and check in, which was really nice. Especially given I’m still chasing the first company for a return phone call a week after they charged me for an issue that had to be properly fixed by O’Neill.I would not hesitate to call ONeill again.

We had a great experience with Shannon and ONeill Plumbing. My husband and I purchased our home in April, and found in late July a leak in our guest shower that caused damage on all three levels of the townhome. Shannon was quick to respond to my call, and came out the next day to identify the issue. He provided great recommendations for water mitigation services and mold damage repair, and helped to put us at ease in a stressful time with his humor and good nature. Once drywall was removed by mitigation team, Shannon came back to make the pipe repairs. He explained everything he was doing to fix the situation, offered advice for home maintenance, and kept transparent about pricing. Shannons pricing was very fair and he worked quickly to get our guest shower back up and running. I am grateful for his great attitude and assistance in a stressful time, and will use ONeill Plumbing again if we need more plumbing repairs!

Called him out of the blue (almost 6 years after he fixed a different plumbing problem for us)- not only did he pick up on the 2nd ring, but he remotely helped me diagnose and fix a problem that was ultimately fairly simple, saving me from another company’s absurd $900+ quote. In all, spent about 40mins on the phone and he saved me time, money, and many headaches. He didn’t ask for a dime in return, but he’ll sure be the first call I make for any plumbing needs.

He spent approximately 30 minutes talking to me about what to troubleshoot. Based on our discussion, I was able to determine that I did need to replace my sump pump and texted Shannon pictures of the condition. Shannon came out later that day to replace it. Shannon is super friendly, knowledgeable, professional and honest. I would definitely use O’Neill Plumbing again.

ONeill Plumbing was one of the best finds 10 years ago. Right after we bought our home we had a leak from a pipe. Shannon the owner fix it and we have been using ONeill ever since. With ONeill I always known the job will be fixed right. We have used the company for a few emergencies over the years and the service is always prompt. Just recently I had another issue and Shannon was at my home within 20 minutes to access the problem. More important to me he was working to make sure the problem was fixed the same day even if it meant he was working on it until almost midnight. The next day I saw there was a minor problem but I texted him a photo of the problem at around 8:00 - I told Shannon I had it under control and can wait until the next day. Shannon was at my home within 10 minutes and the problem was fixed shortly after. That is service and dedication to the customer and the work.

We just brought our newborn daughter home from the hospital to find out that we had sewage backed up in our basement tub. At 2300 (11pm) I did a quick search for local plumbers. ONeil plumbing was not my first call but it will be from here on out. After getting the run around by a couple of other contractors, I called ONeil and spoke with Megan. She gave me an one hour window and told me I would receive a courtesy call 30 minutes out. Shannon (who I later found out was the owner) called promptly to let me know he was on his way and would be there within 30 min. After a quick assessment of the situation, Shannon developed a plan of attack and briefed me step by step the course of action. I consider myself a little bit of a handy man but plumbing isnt something that Im familiar with. I had question after question and Shannon answered each with a smile. If you want a contractor who takes extreme pride in his work, loves what he does and doesnt beat around the bushes, Shannon and ONeil plumbing should be your first call. Shannon and his team are the best. He found a leak in our water supply line that caused basement and yard flooding. He also replaced my sump pump and installed a backup system. His team had to dig a 6’ hole and remove bushes and landscaping to repair the water leak. When they were done you couldn’t tell a hole was dug or that any landscaping had been removed. O’Neill plumbing does it the right way the first time. Shannon is also great with my small kids, a nice plus!

But classifying him as merely a plumber vastly undersells his abilities and versatility.Shannon was able to correctly identify a water intrusion problem that had thus far eluded other specialists, regrade my back yard with excavators and bobcats, and correct a mistake made by irrigation installers which was causing my front lawn to flood. Oh my goodness, Shannon at O’Neill Plumbing is one of the kindest souls walking this planet! I live in an older rental property and a sink hose randomly burst, flooding the entire basement. In a panic, I found the number to O’Neill Plumbing and to my relief, an actual human being (i.e, not an automated message) picked up the phone. Shannon walked me through the entire process of shutting off the water supply in the unit and the valves connected to the busted hose. He also helped me restore water to the unit and wisely advised that it was safe to use water in the rest of the house without affecting the busted hose.While my landlord ultimately chose a different company to fix the hose and mitigate the water, I am immensely grateful for Shannon’s help and wouldn’t hesitate to hire this company once I buy my own home in the area.Thank you!!!

He answered all my questions very openly and honestly, and he got the job done!MORE INFO: I’m writing the review for others to have the confidence to hire O’Neill Plumbing:I thought I clogged a kitchen sink in my rental. Very simple explanation, but i didn’t have the tools. Shannon showed up 1hour 30min after I put in the call...incredibly fast (or what I consider very very prompt service).My kitchen sink has had issues, and it (had been) repaired MULTIPLE times by non licensed contractors (3 times in 5 years). Shannon showed up at my house with 0 info other than “I think I clogged the pipe, I just need some help fixing it”. When he came into the kitchen to look at the sink, he IMMEDIATELY said, “the plumbing configuration is all wrong, and that’s causing a major problem”. He listed /pointed out all the thing wrong with the kitchen sink... which was all done previously by someone who was not a licensed plumber. (You get what you pay for here folks).Shannon continues and says, “I bet your dish washer doesn’t work either”... and he was 100% on the money. My dishwasher never worked properly for 5 years. It didn’t take Shannon 5 min to figure out what a non licensed contractor couldn’t fix for 5 years. (The money spent hiring someone OTHER THAN O’Neill plumbing..had been an absolute waste of money).Shannon came prepared for everything! He had all proper equipment; snakes to clear drains, the cameras, the tools and PVC piping to re configure the sink. I requested them to unclog my drain, and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to “make it right”.Do yourself a favor, and hire O’Neill Plumbing. Hiring anyone else is a waste of time and money. Shannon’s (O’Neill Plumbing) is going to get the job done fast with piece of mind that you won’t have any future issues.

I found ONeill Plumbing by doing a search on Google Maps for independent plumbers in my area. Ive used a few of the big name plumbers in the area and they are always overpriced and not great service. When I called ONeill, they said they could be there in just a few hours. They sent me a calendar invite via email and then they showed up right when they said they would. I needed a root removed from my main line and Shannon quoted me a price right over the phone which was nice. The job ended up being a bit easier than we thought, and so he charged me even less than he quoted and did more than I expected. Shannon and his assistant Colton were total pros. They were extremely clean, laying down tarps and then disinfecting the work area when they were done. I definitely would call them again.

They performed an excellent job and stood behind their work. I had them remove the disposal in my kitchen sink since there would be a lot of standing water, slowly corroding the disposal. The cement they used for the new line had gone bad without them knowing and the new line sprung a small leak within a couple weeks. We noticed the slow drip and they came out the same day, replaced the whole line with new piping and a new container of adhesive and didnt charge a dime. They fixed the mistake without argument or trouble on my part. Since then, we have had no issues at all.

Completely professional. Timely same-day service and showed up fully equipped and got right to quickly diagnosing the problem, quoting a fair price (get what you pay for) and turning to. In my case, running the camera to diagnose a backup saved significant time and cost as they were able to pinpoint a blockage caused by a section of snake that had rats nested and broken off inside the pipe. Rare, but I could see a similar diagnosis from a tree root intrusion etc. where others may simply clear the clog and leave. They were clean even and spread clean tarps throughout to protect the floors. The project involved cutting out a section of the main cast iron drain line above my laundry room and they were careful and took the time to tarp off and protect my walls and my washer/drier. Highly recommended.

Mike removed the old fifty-gallon water heater from our basement, and replaced the failed heater with a new top-of-the-line State Water Heater. It was not an easy task to figure out where the leak originated but Shannon found it and did the repair the same night. We recently moved into a new home and woke up one morning to find our old water heater literally bursting at the seams. After shutting off the valves, we contacted several plumbers for estimates, which were all in the same ballpark, however, Shannon was the only one that was able to troubleshoot everything over the phone after sending him pictures via email. With a busy schedule, this is a huge plus since I didnt have to coordinate schedules to have someone physically come to my home. Not only that, he was the only plumber that was able to determine that my water heater was still under warranty and told me exactly how to contact the manufacturer to get a free replacement. In fact, the age of the water heater was one of the first things he asked me on the phone, and none of the others even bothered checking the warranty. With the install itself, they were very accommodating with the schedule and they did an excellent job at a speedy pace. Upon completion they explained thoroughly on how everything works and how to maintain it, and they didnt leave until they knew that I was completely satisfied, which I was. With the combination of excellent customer service, high quality of work, and speed, they are the only plumber that I could confidently recommend.
