I had an outstanding experience with Brownlee Plumbing. My water heater went out in the middle of a Friday afternoon, and I called them for help. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, managing to find and assign two plumbers to come out and assist me on the same day. Impressively, they arrived within 45 minutes.The plumbers introduced themselves and got straight to work. Within just 30 minutes, they had my hot water heater back up and running. They also took the time to explain exactly what had happened, how to prevent it from happening again, and even how to fix it myself if it ever does occur again.What a great experience! I cannot recommend these guys enough!

I had three companies cole out to try and solve the problem of water in my basement. Brownlee Plumbing listened to my issue with our drain pipe/sewer when other plumbers did not. They sent a camera down the pipe, and when they could not fully determine what was going on, they dug it up. They found the leak and replaced the old pipe with PVC. All the workmen were very courteous!

We had an exterior stairwell drain that would often clog. Other plumbers had cleared it out before, but each time they said they could only get their snake down a very short distance, indicating either a line break or a collapsed trap under the drain. The first quote we got from a different plumber was for an outright obscene amount of money just to run a camera in the line. We contacted Brownlee and scheduled an appointment. Brownlee and his crew arrived on-time and inspected the situation, and he was very up front about the potential issues and, depending on what the problem was, how it could impact both repair and cost. Ultimately, he provided a quote to open up the drain, remove the trap, conduct further investigation (including running a camera in the line) to determine how far into the line the potential break existed, and then fix the problem as long as it wasnt further down the line than the room adjacent to the stairwell. The quote he provided to do all of this work, including repairing the cement floor upon completion, was only barely above the quote the first company had provided just to run the camera!Needless to say, we went with Brownlee, and it all went superbly well. He and his crew were on-time for the repair appointment, quickly found the problem (a collapsed trap under the drain), repaired it, and roughed in new cement for stairwell drain. And now it works!Great price, great service, would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work.

Appreciated it as it turned out to NOT be an emergency.I was also offered the call when arriving in 30 minutes option for my Monday appointment but despite getting there in about 23 minutes, I stood and waited another 30 minutes with no answer to my calls back to the alert number. Called headquarters and the tech called saying I wasnt there, they had waited 20 minutes and left. Confusing arrival policy - is it 30 minutes or is it 5 or 10 minutes? Did they really come? Brownlee did great work to replace a difficult hose bib that could not be accessed from inside the house. They had a mason on hand to remove and replace brick to access the plumbing from outside the house, and finished the project in a single day. When a small leak appeared in the handle they had someone come back and fix it immediately. I had another plumbing company look at the same project and they wouldn’t even consider it. This is a great local company and I’m glad I gave them a chance on this challenging project.

The subcontractors he hired to complete repair work were all excellent and made the whole process seamless and affordable. The two before him were baffled as to why we were losing hot water given we had a new water heater installed in April of 2023, and no one prior to Mr. Brownlee gave us a definitive answer-- the previous mans best suggestion was that we replace the brand-new water heater, and he couldnt even guarantee that would solve the problem.Mr. Brownlee came and spent time in our house figuring out the plumbing layout and actually troubleshooting instead of jumping to conclusions. I recently had a sewer back up into my basement, due to a collapsed pipe outside my house. One of the “big” companies sent out a tech to help snake and locate the problem. This tech, while very kind, was extremely confused by my problem and had to call another plumber for advice. This had me rather nervous! Once he better understood the issue, he then quoted me a rather high price to dig up my sewer line. Looking for a second opinion, I found another trusted plumber, this time someone who knew and understood my problem but then quoted me a price two grand more then the first guy. Finally, I found Brownlee Plumbing. His price was extremely fair!! He also knew exactly what had happened and was able to come and fix it immediately.
