I called JV Mechanical over the weekend with an emergency plumbing issue which occurred right before a kids birthday party. Vic arrived shortly after I called and was kind, courteous and professional. The issue ended up being minor and he fixed it free of charge! While here I asked him about a few other issues I have been having and he was able to explain the problems to me and offer solutions - and I will be using JV Mechanical for the work. Cant recommend them enough!

Originally when my home was built the boiler had Jv mechanicals contact info on it so that is who we went with every time it needed to be serviced which wasnt often but when it did need maintenance Jv Mechanical always operated with a sense of urgency to get it diagnosed and repaired. Last year our boiler that has heated our home for the last 20 years failed, we were recommended another plumber by a third-party insurance company after that plumber installed the new water heater months later we began to have issues thats when we called Jv Mechanical and they were able to come out and list everything that was wrong with the installation. At a later date we scheduled them to come out and repair it and now it looks professionally installed and is working perfectly.In conclusion Jv Mechanical is going to be your best bet when it comes heating and cooling your home.

Having had an existing Mitsubishi system on the 1st floor which weve used for years that provides both heat and AC we decided to go with what we know works for us and made the decision to install similar units for our 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. I used the Mitsubishis web site to find local Mitsubishi Diamond Certified companies to get several quotes. JV Mechanical quote was competitive but what sold us on them is their technical sales person and office staff that were knowledgeable, professional, pleasant, and very helpful. What really blew me away was how fast and efficient the installation crews were. They showed up around 7:30am and were completely finished around 2:30 the same day. They carefully moved and protected our personal items where they needed access to and covered things near the working areas. They worked with us on just where the units were to be installed in each room. Once the installations were completed they vacuumed each room and pathways. Then the lead tech went over the remote controls for each unit. We couldnt be happier with the great service JV Mechanical Contractors provided us and the results from the Mitsubishi products.

Can’t say enough about J V mechanical. Most people don’t even show up to appointments when I call for an estimate or never on time. To start Dean was right on time explained how he would install my tankless hot water tank which also had to converted from electric to gas and from tank to tankless. The guys on the job on the day of install were on time explained everything again before install. I am totally happy with this crew and would highly recommend them. I highly recommend JV Mechanical without reservation. I had a small water leak on a joint of the water gauge in my cellar. I was able to control the flow by monitoring the drip into a five-gallon can for a day or two but of course this was only a temporary solution; I have been out of the Webster area for forty years and had no idea of the plumbing repair resources available. I called JV Mechanical and they were able to respond and fix my leak in two hours. Unbelievable service and response. Thank you JV Mechanical.

I requested a call before the Jeff headed to the church and I did. He was there on time and is very knowledgeable. One part had to be ordered which took a couple of weeks but once the part arrived, Jeff came back out to install and made sure everything worked. Contacting the office was also easy. My hot water pressure was severely low because of a problem with dirt from outside running through the pipes - a shutoff valve was in the wrong position and unfortunately for me the dirt impacted the on demand hot water heater. Not only did they come right away, but knew exactly how to repair it and Happily I now have my water pressure back and the on-demand hot water heater is working well! I would give ten stars if I could!I want to add to my review about this excellent business. I know many people are watching their heating oil prices rise. Just this year my oil company told me my oil burner was operating at 71% efficiency. They recommended I invest in a new oil burner-which would have been a huge expense to remove the old one and install a new one.Thankfully I contacted mass save and found wonderful rebates and interest free seven year loans. I was thrilled to find that Victor at JV mechanical was a contractor for mass save in the central mass area. He recommended mini splits to augment heating and he also knows which oil burners are the most efficient! Oil prices are just going to keep rising and I am thrilled to have a least expensive alternative as my town doesnt have natural gas. My oil prices are double what they were last year. I am sooo glad I didnt act on the oil companys recommendation they gave for the new oil burner without exploring other options! Mass save has a long waiting list so I recommend calling right away to get an energy assessment. After Victor does his assessment I have to wait for Mass save to do theirs before I can go ahead with replacing the burner!

I recently had a fantastic experience. I was having a failure to ignite problem with my propane heater. Mike (ML) visited a couple of times, but the problem persisted. On the last visit he decided to contact the manufacturer. The unit was out of warranty but because of Mikes persistence the manufacturers technical representative offered to send a new gas valve, orifice burner and cassette burner free. While this was being pursued over a number of weeks Nisa Gelinas, Administrative Assistant, kept me posted as to the progress of the negotiations with the manufacturer. I cannot say enough good things about the Mike, Nisa and the company that made an extra effort to assist me with this problem. Most companies would have told me that they cannot resolve the problem, but the staff of JV Mechanical Contractors went the extra mile for me, and I truly appreciated it.Bob Falter, Brookfield, MA

Mike did a great job replacing a difficult mixing valve on our water heater. He worked hard to remove the failed valve component that was nearly lock threaded in place. He showed us the failed valve and how it was not working compared to the new valve. After the repair, we finally have the correct temperature water coming from our faucets and shower. Mike was knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He also willingly removed a failed under sink water filter which was not on our original repair request. JV Mechanical and Mike were easy to work and the repair was priced fairly. We would not hesitate to call JV Mechanical for our plumbing needs again.

Nick, from JV Mechanical Contractors, just left our home. This is the second time he has been out. We first met him during an emergency call due to a leak in our toilet. We had just moved into our home and found the toilet leaking. We called a few plumbers, and JV Mechanical was the first to respond. They were out within the hour. Nick was polite, clean and got the job done quickly. We were very impressed and realized we found a plumber we wanted to use for any issues that arise. Fast forward to today. We are in the process of remolding our kitchen and needed a new facet installed and the plumbing updated. We requested Nick and he, again, did not disappoint! Leading up to the installation Nisa and Kathy where so helpful with assisting us with the Mass Save program and answering any questions we had. The day of installation went amazing. Once again Vic came out with his lead installer, crew and electrician and walked the install to make sure every body was on the same page. The final out come was a beautiful and carefully laid out installation. The attention to detail was very evident by the install. All of this happened just in time for a 90 degree heat wave. If you are in the Webster area, and need anything related to plumbing, or hot water heats etc, dont even waste your time calling anyone other than JV Mechanical. I had 2 other companies come to my house to try and diagnose why I had no water pressure. Finally I called JV and they sent out their tech Nick and he quickly diagnosed the problem. They replaced out tank and their price was better than anyone else that I had previously called. The ladies in the office (Nissa I believe) and the owner were super helpful and great to work with. Can not thank them enough!

JV Mechanical installed a new heat pump last week. The installers were very knowledgeable and professional. The install itself went smooth with no issues at all. After they left I tried to program the thermostat myself and accidentally changed a setting. I couldn’t get the system to work properly so I gave them a call on that Saturday knowing they weren’t open. The technician on call called me within 30 minutes. He didn’t have experience with the thermostat so he called the installer (Jeff) who worked with me earlier in the week. Jeff called me back within the hour and walked me through the settings over the phone. He found the issue and told me how to make the change. It fired right up after that change was made. I really appreciate the great service after the sale. I’m glad I went with JV Mechanical.

He really knows what he is doing, and was able to answer all of my questions while providing recommendations and insight that proved extremely helpful. Nisa and Jill, the two administrative assistants, are also both great to work with, responsive, and know what they are doing. Communication was never an issue, and they went above and beyond to take care of my questions and concerns. They are also taking care of communicating with Mass Save for the rebate, which is a huge help and helps streamline payment. Also, the technicians were all very professional, respectful, and great at what they do. Working with JV Mechanical has been an absolute pleasure at every step, and I cannot recommend them enough, especially if you are looking to install Mini Split Systems. In my search for quotes, I found they are not the cheapest but also far from the most expensive--offering a great level of value for the exceptional service and quality of work. I found JV Mechanical through a Google search maybe a year ago when I needed someone to come out and fix our water pressure issue. Normally I would just call a family member to come over and do a DIY fix but I needed someone here fast. They were so easy to deal with in regard to scheduling the appointment, troubleshooting and fixing the issue, to billing and payment, that I decided to call them back a handful of times now (instead of DIY) to do other work with our heating and AC systems. The technicians always arrive on time and are professional and knowledgeable about what they do. At first I thought maybe they were kind of young to be doing this sort of work, but age makes no difference when you understand how systems work inside and out! And I’ve actually learned a lot about how our water pipes and AC systems operate just by asking a lot of questions to the techs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a local reliable company in water piping or HVAC (or anything else they do)!
