Rodney was amazing! Within 10 minutes of arriving, he was able to diagnose what was wrong with our HVAC system - an absolute professional! He went above and beyond to make sure we understood the issues, potential solutions, and how he could help. He was so friendly and we felt he really cared about the implications it had on our family (eg, no heat for days in freezing weather for a family with small children). He didn’t have to spend that time with us (or care, honestly) but he did. We’ll be calling him again for sure - I cannot recommend Premium Home Services and especially Rodney enough! I highly recommend Premium Home Services. My furnace stopped working one Saturday when the outside windchill was 18 degrees. I called Premium and they sent their tech, Sean McCarrick. He was very professional and kind. He diagnosed and fixed the problem (a shorted thermostat) and we had heat quickly. He didn’t try to upsell me or pressure me to have other services done which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be using Premium again in the future.

I’m giving Premium Home Services the company 5 Stars. The generator and propane tank they installed was done all in one day. Everything looks great and generator works as advertised. They obviously did a professional job and we couldnt be happier.We plan to use Premium for the other home projects we have lined up because were they stood-out from the 2 other contract companies is how they treated us and went through the whole process in great detail. My wife asks lots of silly questions , like does the generator and tank come in pretty colors top the list. I met with Rich and Steve at my house this afternoon to discuss the possibility of purchasing and installing a Generac standby generator. I had just just received a mailer from Premium about just that, and it really hit a nerve, so I went for it. When I called for an appointment, the office staff was so pleasant and informative, and my appointment for an estimate was made for two days later. Rich and Steve were very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant, and they won me over. And in less than three weeks from today, I will have my new generator, just daring the elements to have their way with me yet again! Ha! This review is of course only about the ease of scheduling and the professionalism of the office and sales staff. But, I am confident that that only reflects favorably on the next step: the actual install.Update, 29 Dec 21: my Generac was installed yesterday. The crew worked together beautifully and with confidence and precision. They set the generator on a carefully measured and leveled bed of gravel, for which they built a nice wood frame to contain the gravel because the ground was sloping. They made sure it ran properly and explained all I need to do — which is pretty much nothing, because it’s all automatic— even the biweekly self test! And now I wait to see it in its full glory the next time the power goes out!Update 6 Feb 23: my generator had been working perfectly through a 5-day power outage last June and through several hours- long outages through the ensuing months. I was so thrilled with it! Then, last week, during a nearly six hour outage, the generator seemed to be working perfectly until, several hours in, I realized my house was getting colder and colder. Somehow, although everything else was working, the generator was unable to power my heat pump or my furnace. I tried some simple things to get it going; no luck. But before I could call that night, the power came back on, and I had heat again. I called Premium the next day, and when Sean came out, he discovered the problem almost immediately and rectified it. What impressed me most, however, was his honesty in acknowledging that the problem was most likely an error on his part during his original install a year ago. That candor made me trust him, and Premium Home Services, all the more. Honesty is priceless. Kudos to Premium for having such a fine man in their employ. Sean will be my go- to tech for any future generator needs! I trust him.Edit 28 Jan 24: just had my annual maintenance done on my sensational generator. All is well, and the technician was nice and polite.Edit 2 Jan 25: my generator didn’t perform its biweekly self-check yesterday, and I then noticed that its red light was on ( instead of green). Uh-oh. I called Premium this morning and explained the problem, and added that I was also due for annual maintenance. I also told her of my concern that the upcoming snowstorm on Monday would probably cause a power failure, and I needed my generator to work! The courteous receptionist told me that someone could come by this afternoon. Within an hour, a technician, Rodney, called and said he’d be here in 20 minutes! Wow! He was very professional and efficient, and now the light on the generator is green and ready to go. I just hope it works as it should and kicks on the next time we have a power failure.

The diagnostic fee was $49 and it was the lowest one I could find after calling five other companies. I was very pleased that they were able to schedule me in the day of my problem and someone was able to help me within one hour luckily!!The gentleman saw my problem and had fix it very fast in 30 mins. I was glad it wasn’t a huge cost.If it helps anybody when they read this, it’s likely that the capacitor in HVAC is the broken piece because that part only last 3 to 5 years lifetime when it gets replaced. Then he gave me a recommendation to keep my coil clean yearly with water spray.. after he cleaned out the coil very well for us.

Update:Originally, I left a one star review. The GM came out to view the damage done to our home in person by one of their employees, re-quote us, and determine how to move forward. The second quote we were given was still extremely high ($1,400) so we ended up not using home premium for our plumbing issue. We did find another plumber to do the work for less than $400. After the plumbing issue was fixed, Home Premium sent out a team to repair the drywall and cabinet damage done by them. I have to strongly applaud these men! You cannot tell that there was ever a hole in the ceiling or cabinet damage. On top of that, we will be receiving a refund for the initial charge we paid to Home Premium for them to determine the problem. We likely will not be using them in the future for plumbing due to their high prices but we are thankful that they made things right and we can put all this behind us.Original post: I have mixed opinions on this company. We have used them for over 1 year now and had them out to our home on 4 different occasions including plumbing and HVAC replacement/maintenance. A majority of the service has been great until tonight. We had a leak from our upstairs bathroom into our kitchen. We called after hours and someone was out within an hour or two. We had paid $160 for an annual plumbing maintenance plan, which I still dont understand the benefits because nothing seems to be covered. Once the tech got to the house, he let us know he needed to cut open the drywall in the ceiling near our kitchen cabinets to view the leak which would be $370ish (I would have thought this would have been covered in the plan we just bought). However, we agreed. He then cut the drywall and damaged our brand new kitchen cabinets in 2 different locations. He told us that we could just touch up the cabinets with a touchup marker. After looking at the leak, he told us the damage was coming from the seal of the shower drain and it would be about $1,600 to do the repairs. Now with a large hole in the ceiling, we were told they do not do drywall work and we would be responsible for that work (why wouldnt you have said that before cutting the hole?). Of course we turned down the work at $1,600 for a $30 replacement part. We immediately called the office who took our complaint. We will wait to hear back from the GM to determine if we use this company again in the future.

We had Premium replace our heat pump about a year ago and make repairs on our plumbing system which offered regular home inspections and servicing on a regular basis at no extra cost. We have had other contractors who never showed up or took less than an hour to service. So we were pleasantly surprised and pleased when Premium technician took several hours inspecting our system, replacing the filter and then planning to come back to replace a faulty sensor, all of which was covered by the warranty. We learned that we did not have a surge protector so paid extra for that necessary addition. This is a professional and personable operation that we feel confident using! They will give you a detailed explanation of their findings and recommendations with no pressure to make upgrades. Glad that they now cover Jefferson County , West Virginia.

09/17/24 Premium did a great job figuring out why the bathroom above my basement was leaking and they were able to be prompt and thorough with their diagnosis. Would like to thank Daniel and Michael for being friendly and knowledgeable 05/05/24 premium came for a scheduled maintenance check, but they were awesome as usual. Kyle came twice when we had a couple of leaks. One for an overflowing toilet and another due to water being spilled. He was very thorough and explained everything well! Randy and Daniel checked our AC, furnace and all of the plumbing. Randy found some of our filter in the fan and Daniel worked his tail off trying to rectify what we now think may just be condensation built up because of closed vents. They were great as always. 01/17/24: I called because I was having an issue with the furnace not working, but Rodney was able to come Pretty shortly after I called and fix it right away. We had a basement control unit which was causing an issue, and once he disabled it, we were fine. They were very professional and explained what they’re doing and we appreciate always dealing with premium. 10/23 Update: My family couldn’t be happier than we are for having a relationship with Premium Home Services. We are renting our basement out and we wanted to make sure plumbing, A/C, or heating issues were addressed. Randy our HVAC technician and his team of installers went above and beyond in service and courtesy. They replaced the original furnace that came with our house in a very short period but they went out of their way and spend time helping us with a circuit breaker over two days which was highly appreciated. I credit Randy with also giving me great advice on fixing my car’s transmission and I’m so thankful he did. Michael “Mo” our plumbing technician was originally called for our main level bathtub to make sure it doesn’t leak into the basement. Not only was he able to change the pipes for the tub but he also did a fantastic job on our kitchen sink. He reworked it and made it function properly with an air vent, and he also snaked and power washed our pipes from the inside so it drains faster than ever before now. He also changed all of our faucets and stoppers that were original to the house and were leaking. Mo took his time, explaining and going through each step to make sure we understood. We loved Mo and Randy, and felt like they were everything you’d want from your technicians. We also contracted premium with cleaning our dryer vent. The original vent line was complicated to clean and was actually detached. Justin and Gage cleaned all the excess lint in our baseboards and built a new line for a dryer vent free of charge. They were very professional and courteous! We will be loyal customers to premium and will be replacing another A/C and furnace unit next year. We have had different technicians from premium over the last three years and we’ve always been amazed at how they find amazing people! I highly recommend them! 07/18/23 Update: Our A/C condensation drain was clogged and the first call I made was to Premium Home Services due to how great our experiences were with them in the past. They did not disappoint this time as well. They were prompt and courteous and they completed the job with ease using one of their latest advanced pump gun. The heat has been unbearable and dealing with other companies would’ve been challenging. It’s great to know that you could always rely on Premium Home Services to provide value with professional service and fair prices. I’m glad I to know this company well, and will always use them for any plumbing or AC issues in the future as well!!

They squeezed me in despite a full docket because it was an emergency (pressure tank died and we had no water), and their fee to come out was extremely reasonable, and significantly less than a more local company, despite being several towns away. Michael, our tech, also rectified a previous problem that the previous plumbing company had instituted (they had put the old pressure tank in a position it was never meant to go in and propped it with foam; he had to troubleshoot getting a new tank PROPERLY situated into a small, unlevel space) and was DEDICATED to fixing the problem. Ga(u?)ge and Jake came out to help the second day (after they’d picked up the new pressure tank), and all three were respectful of me AND my space. Despite being called out on Saturday night, Michael was, as previously stated, extremely patient with explaining to me exactly what was going on and what he was doing about it. The office also made sure to stay in contact with me about when people were coming out. The techs made certain to take precautions that would ensure the life of the new pressure tank and my plumbing, and made sure that everything was working correctly before they left. From the office to the techs, everyone was wonderful. I would definitely go with them again. 👍🏽

The Geothermal HVAC support from Premium Home Services is awesome. They managed to fix an issue I had been having for over a year with the unit locking out (causing complete heating or cooling loss until power reset) - I had a different company take a look before, but they gave up after spending half a day here.Premium Home Services came out once - but the problem could not be reproduced so could not easily diagnose. They checked the system was operating correctly (it was), and then they asked if I could call back when the issue happed. Fee was lower than I thought it would be for the time they spent looking at it, just diagnostic.It took a full 2 months later then we hit the same issue - they came out without hours of me calling, tested the whole system - and found the error was false, and was actually caused by a loose connection to the sensor. Very cheap fix, unit has been working the best it ever has (still running OK a month after the fix)!They also seem to have all the correct and modern equipment to test and diagnose the system (coolant, air flow, water pressure/flow, etc), much better than the other companies Ive tried in the past.We will for sure use them again!

I always feel comfortable with the technicians sent by PHS to diagnose and fix problems with heating and AC. Most are knowledgeable and experienced and they do a thorough job without having to rush the process. In this case, Sean showed up (with an advance notification by PHS - sweet!) to diagnose an issue where the thermostat was not enabling the heat pump to cut over to the propane furnace when outside temps were low enough for the cutover to have taken place. He made a few adjustments, tested the calibration and demonstrated that the cutover was indeed working but that the extreme temperatures may have caused the relay to have gotten stuck. Overall I was impressed with his knowledge, thoroughness as well as his ability to explain all the steps that he was going through. Im happy I used PHS for my heating and AC needs and technicians like Sean instill the confidence of their customers.

It took just a few days after my first contact with the wonderful office staff to have a very knowledgeable salesperson at our house to conduct our free estimate. The moment someone answered the phone, I noticed the professionalism of the staff. The phone concierge - Jamie - made sure I knew her name, and she had my call back number so that we could reconnect if we were disconnected. I made the call at 4:45 p.m. and had a technician knocking on my door within an hour. From the beginning, Eric was professional and courteous. He thoroughly checked the entire system and educated me and my husband about what he found as well as general information of how the system should be working. We found him to be very knowledgeable, and when he had to be the bearer of bad news - that we needed a completely new system (which was not a complete surprise) - he was straight to the point and offered options for replacement. He was also able to schedule the installation of the new system to be within a few days of this visit. I did not realize how dissatisfied I had been with my previous service provider until I had experience with this company.Unlike my previous provider, this company respected me as the homeowner. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Kudos to Premium Home Services.Update: The new system has been installed. Cody and Dustin were very professional and courteous and respectful of my home. I barely knew they were there while they were working.The ladies in the office are also great to work with. The entire experience working with Premium Home Services was excellent for installing our heat pump/central air system. The initial consultation with Justin was very clear. He took his time to carefully examine our existing heating and provided clear options for how to move forward. The proposal was very comprehensive and took into account features of our house to make sure the new system would be the most efficient. The installation by Shawn and Matt was also great. They worked really hard and explained everything they were doing. They were extremely efficient and checked over every detail of the system to make sure it was working correctly. We were very happy with the process from beginning to end.Update 8/13/20: we have additionally hired Premium Home Services to complete plumbing and electrical work at our house. Don, Will, and Larry are a great team. They helped completely renovate and update our plumbing system, install water treatment equipment, and convert a half bath into a full bath. They were great to work with throughout the entire process.

Crazy.Nevertheless, I have nothing but very high praise for both the technician and the lady back in the office. Both Conner and Sharon were so professional and courteous. They recommended the least costly route to take. Sharon has already followed up with me by phone and Conner will be checking back in tomorrow to see if all is still well. I had a fantastic experience with this company from start to finish. I interacted with many of the staff from the receptionist to the owner (Tom), all of which was wonderful. I unfortunately had an A/C Failure on the hottest day of the year. I called at 8am and by 10am there were two service techs at my house, Seth and Davy, who were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They gave me very clear options for either a repair or a replacement, at varying price points so I could make an informed decision. Ultimately ended up going with a whole new unit as opposed to repairing my old one. They even went a step further and corrected some inefficiencies from when the old system that was installed and had some duct work made up to correct this issue. Matt and Sean (the repair techs) were at my house promptly at 8am the following day and I had a whole new (corrected) system blowing cold air by 4pm. Matt and Sean were very professional and explained my new system in a very easy to understand manner. I couldnt be happier with the professionalism of this company from the top down. I will be using them again for my home service needs.

I recently moved into a home with an old rusty oil heat furnace that needed replacement. I first spoke with Jamie, who was wonderful, and was able to get my first home visit within a week. All of the people at Premium Home Services were not only professional, but caring. There was a few glitches with my old home which were quickly rectified and probably cost the installers more time than was expected, however they kept at it until it was done and were SUPER nice. When I had a question the next day about something, Alexus sent someone out immediately! Not only was it a comfort to talk with someone so cheerful that early in the morning, but I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks Alexus; life is stressful enough! So thankful to have this company’s help. I let them know my issue, and they were able to send out a technician, Rodney, the next morning, which was very impressive considering how busy AC companies are this time of year. Rodney, the technician, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He was able to clearly explain the issue to me, and how he can resolve that issue. He was very astute and prompt with his work, and we even had time to chat about sports. In regards to rates, I was given three different payment options which was very helpful financially, and each different payment option told you clearly what you get for it. Our experience with Premium Home Services has bee exceptional. We had a new heat pump/air conditioner installed 6 months ago with a service contract added. The 6 month inspection/maintenance was done yesterday. We arranged for duct cleaning and it was scheduled immediately for today. Josue Cruz and co- worker showed up promptly at 8;:00 AM. They were very polite, introduced themselves and explained what they would be doing. They immediately started the work and worked diligently for over 5 hours. They completed the job, cleaned up everything and showed us pictures of before & after of the duct work. All I can say is “Amazing -job well done”. Would highly recommend the company to everyone. All of the employees that I have come in contact with have been very personable and you feel as if you have known them for a long time! Great experience!

Premium Home Services is an AMAZING company. Our A/C went out last night and I called them and the staff that answered was able to set us up with a technician the same evening. Unfortunately our system called it quits and we had to get a whole new system installed. I was worried it was going to be awhile before they would be able to get it installed as it is peak summer time and I was sure they were busy but they had an opening the next morning and at 9am the installers came and set us up with a whole new unit about 6 hours later. The tech that came out the night before was open and honest about the different options we had available. There were a lot to choose from but he helped make the choice easier. The installers were amazing as well. Very friendly and efficient. The reps that call are great over the phone as well. I received a call right after the installers left just to make sure everything went smoothly. Their customer service all the way around is greatl I am looking forward to their bi annual check up/inspection of our new HVAC unit. Thank you so much! I wouldn’t go with anyone else!
