I’ve been using George’s Plumbing for a few years now, ever since a friend recommended them, and I’ve been consistently impressed with their service. Most recently, Anthony came to my 1916 home in Norfolk to address a completely clogged kitchen drain. After inspecting the issue, he discovered that the drain line was totally clogged with years of sediment and would need to be replaced.Anthony was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain everything to me and showing me exactly what the problem was. He gave me several options and helped me understand the best course of action. His professionalism, knowledge, and clear communication made what could have been a stressful situation much easier to handle.The team was super responsive—I called on a Sunday, and they came out the very next day. Outstanding Service and Expertise!I had the pleasure of working with Anthony for the installation of an under-the-counter water filter, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. The plumber was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I was lucky enough to have this company and Anthony recommended to me. I had a major blockage that was backing up into my house. Called at 1:30 in the afternoon and he was there by 6:30 p.m. and worked until after 8:00 p.m. Anthony and his workers found the problem and removed that section of the pipe and installed a 2 way clean out and had to remove a big bush. I am a senior on a fixed income and my fear is being taken advantaged of, no worry here, Anthony charged me way below market price. they did a great job and explained everything being done. I have already recommended Georges plumbing to a couple friends. Thanks again for everything, truly an impressive company.

I ran a load clothes through the wash and found that water was all over the floor. I called Georges Plumbing. They were able to fit me in the next day. Anthony even worked late that evening to make sure we were taken care of. He replaced our disintegrating iron pipe with a new PVC pipe. He explained everything along the way. He tested it before leaving and made sure to leave things in great condition. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Good plumbers are hard to find. We will definitely be calling Georges Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Anthony did a very professional job replacing my garbage disposal. More than just doing the work, he was ready to answer questions and offer advice too. He made sure the cords and flex hosing in my under-sink cabinet were in a better arrangement than they started and fully cleaned up the work area too. Would highly recommend.

I called George’s plumbing for a quote to have a washer drainage system installed. A technician named Anthony came provided me the quote although i also wanted a dryer hookup including the vent installed he informed me that they don’t do dryer vent but gave me some great recommendations. I wanted to explore different quotes then quickly realized George’s plumbing offered the most reasonable price for my scope of work. Anthony was fantastic he was professional and friendly. In addition to my washer plumbing installation, i was having some issues with my master bathroom sink there was this horrendous smell that comes frequently when turning on the water, as soon as Anthony looked at the set up of my bathroom sink he quickly identified what the issue was and that the smell was coming from the pee trap and came up with a very reasonable solution. I high recommend George’s plumping I’m very satisfied with the out come of my project.

I called George’s Plumbing at 10:30 pm on a Friday night and Anthony and his assistant Tyler were at my 80-year-old mother’s house by 11 pm.She had an alarming predicament where the upstairs toilet flush caused the upstairs bathtub & downstairs kitchen sinks to back up with brown water.Anthony wasted no time with his plan of action after asking a few questions and in less than an hour, drained the backup water. He even took time to do quality control by having us test everything (faucets, garbage disposal, toilet, etc) — and all was good.He and Tyler worked well together as a team to efficiently complete the job with excellence, patience, politeness, and professionalism.As always, they charged a fair, honest, and affordable rate. My mother has been blessed by their exceptional service three times now (Anthony twice, Ryan once and Tyler this time). I had Ryan do a plumbing job for my house once as well—and of course, like Anthony & Tyler, Ryan was friendly, easy to talk to, courteous, and outstanding with his work and quality control.George has a compassionate heart. Always responding to calls & texts no matter the time. I can see why his team is the way they are — great human beings that have a desire to help people with plumbing needs as soon as they can and with courtesy & with excellence.They deserve more than 5 stars!

Based on the reviews, I decided to go with George’s Plumbing. I’m glad I did. Although the issue wasn’t completely fixed and that’s because it’s more of a serious issue and would take multiple days to fix, Anthony was able to get the plumbing clear enough so that my mom could start using the toilet and shower. I appreciate Anthony being able to still come out at 6:30 and helping my mom out. I would highly recommend these guys.

I have had two outstanding experiences with Georges Plumbing. First with the Owner George and second great experience with his Technician Nathan. I cannot say enough about the quality of their service, integrity of their work, exceptional experience with a variety of problems and the professionalism no matter what you challenge them with...Let me be specific, first, George was referred to me by a neighbor who is a full-time real estate agent who often brings him in to service her properties. I had a major gas line issue that require the city to turn off gas to my home in the dead of winter. My 84-year-old Mom and I were freezing in the house, honestly it felt warmer outside, LOL. George was book 5 weeks out with happy clients that like myself would only trust him to service their property. At the time I was stranger to him but he is very compassionate man. On the phone he diagnosis the problem and boy was right. He came within a day of speaking me, late in day after taking care of his clients. He was a pleasure to work with at the end of what had to be a long day. I called the City and shared with them what he told me and they could not argue the point, I demanded they send someone to my home before George left and thank God 30 minutes later there was Larry whose schedule with the City had just changed to ending at 7pm. Thank God!!! Larry wanted to turn my gas off but George impressed him with his commitment to not leave me an my 84 year old Mom with no heat. In the bitter cold George motivated Larry to ask George…”got tools on that truck?” And George said yes and they went to work. George made the repair and Larry approved it and we were toasty before they left. After the repair was done the three of us swapped funny repair stories and Larry who like myself was very impressed with George, turned to me and said you need to work with this young man (referring to George) to make future repairs he was recommending I make to my house and I have been loyal to George ever since. I WON’T LET ANYONE BUT GEORGE’S PLUMBING TOUCH MY PLUMBING!!! They will never let you down. Before they left my house was so hot I had to change clothes and Mom was begging me to turn heat down because she was roasting. WOW!!! We were so thankful that an honest business like George’s Plumbing blessed us with outstanding service. 😊

Anthony showed up on time, was extremely competent and obviously very experienced. Very nice man too.He fixed our leak and made a couple faucet adjustments as requested. I had an urgent situation with my toilet leaking. I discovered water on the floor after my child got out of the shower, so I first thought she had just made a mess. But I soon saw that the water was coming from the bottom of my toilet tank. Anthony from Georges Plumbing was able to come out quickly and replace the worn out gasket that had caused the leak. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He also suggested installing a water guard on the corner of the tub to help prevent extra water on the floor from these crazy kids, and to prevent the water from deteriorating the seals on the bottom of the toilet. Definitely my go to Plumber.

OMG! I don’t know where to begin! Called George’s Plumbing because my primary shower stopped working. This, mind you, is an install I had performed by an another contractor just 3 years ago. Anthony arrived on time, looked at my shower faucet and noticed it wasn’t secure. He tore it apart and found it was not secured to the wall. He then had to go in thru the wall behind the shower to install a 2x4 to secure the faucet. He cut a perfect square, added support and was able to place the dry wall back and secure it to the 2x4. He even puttied up the cut mark. They don’t do drywall, and I told him to just get the cut out piece back and I would putty, sand and paint. He happened to have wall putty, so he did that, so now all I need to do is sand and paint ❤️! He wanted to make sure all was right and when he went into where the cut off valves were for the shower, he found a mess. I told him he could fix them next time (cuz I’m calling George’s out later to do some more work) he said, no mam. George won’t like it if I see a problem and don’t fix it right then and there! Love that attitude! Anthony not only found and fixed my shower problem and other poorly installed items, he also asked if I’d like more pressure in my shower head. Of course, who wouldn’t?Anthony did a wonderful job. Gave me estimates for the other work I wanted done and left my home as clean as he found it! Praise God to find a great company with caring, knowledgeable staff who pride themselves on doing the job right!EDIT- I just stepped out of the most exhilarating shower I have ever had! I had no idea the showerhead could be adjusted! In fact, I had to dial it back it was so strong! And I actually had really hot water!Kudos to Anthony!

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I accidentally cut into a copper pipe while taking down some drywall causing a leak. After shutting off the main valve outside, I searched for a plumber on Google and found Georges Plumbing so decided to give him a call. He answered my call and took down my information, but also assured me that Id have someone stop by that same day. Anthony, the plumber, called in advance to provide his ETA. He arrived on time and was very polite. He kept his work area clean and used his time efficiently. In less than an hours time I was able to turn my water back on. The price was less than half of what the other companies quoted my wife. All in all please do yourselves a favor and give these guys a shot, you wont regret it. Thank you Anthony.

This is the 5th plumbing company/service I have had to my home in six months. All for different reasons unfortunately. But, I have not invited the companies back because of the lack of professionalism and lack of knowledge. I read reviews, checked around and still had terrible service from other places. But, I knew as soon as I spoke with George on the phone that he knew what he was talking about. He was genuine in his tone and immediately told me that the smell in my bathroom was because of my toilet seal (not my bathtub drain which I thought and another company said they would treat by pouring acid down my tub). George scheduled my service within one business day. When Anthony arrived he was super nice, efficient and explained everything he was doing. He showed me the old seal, the new seal, had me test everything out. Both George and Anthony spoke in a way that could be understood clearly yet very knowledgeable! Call this company!!!

I picked up Georges Plumbing card while at Comet purchasing parts. Ive used the company twice and Im truly impressed. In a day where customer service is ify and prices are soaring, Georges plumbing truly strives for excellence while passing on true, fair pricing.During this last job I noticed that the plumber was very focused and double checking his work. I mentioned his attention to detail and while writing my ticket (multi-tasking!); he told me that Georges Plumbing is different in terms of high owner expectations. In fact, the young man shared that he had been fired by the owner for oversleeping and not getting to work on time. Amazingly, the employee understood why he was fired...that his not being there meant that a job had to be cancelled. So, how is it that Georges plumbing rehired him? And this is why I love this George story...because the employee really understood that there are consequences in life (every parent and employers dream) and that the owner was wise enough to see the talent/budding maturity and how to shape second chances...for everyones advantage.Georges plumbing doesnt advertise this, but apparently the owners expectation is: do it well and do it right the first time. Sales folks say that all the time. But when you see it in action, all you can say is...WOW.

We recommend George 100%. We had a pipe burst on Christmas Day, flooding our garage. The only way to stop the water was to turn off the water main to the house. We have 2 babies, and while we could’ve survived a few days without plumbing, it would have made life pretty challenging. After calling numerous “emergency plumbers” and either getting no answer or told they couldn’t make it out for a few days, we finally got in touch with George. He answered his phone immediately and listened to the problem. He let us know he had several calls ahead of us but was working through them as fast as he could, and to expect him late or the next morning. He arrived much sooner than we expected and had the problem repaired and our water back on in a few minutes. We were expecting to pay through the nose on Christmas, but his rate was very reasonable, what you’d expect for a regular call. We could tell he was one of the few folks out there responding on Christmas because even as he worked on our pipes, he got call after call. No question, a top notch experience. We have ourselves our new go-to plumber.

Brand new, *very* satisfied customer. George and Anthony are great! We had the unfortunate luck of having our kitchen sink clog on Thanksgiving morning in the middle of preparing our meal. We waited until Friday to reach out to plumbers and even the national chains would not come out until Monday. That was understandable as it was a long holiday weekend. I had gotten in touch with Georges Plumbing to set up an appt for Monday but he said he *might* be able to do it Saturday. Well boy were we ecstatic when George called me back and informed me that he had a tech available to do the job Friday night! Anthony came by promptly and was very kind, courteous, and informative. He unclogged our drain in no time and informed us that all their work is warranteed. This business knows how to treat and serve its customers. I cannot completely tell you how happy I am for using Georges Plumbing. Anthony was absolutely amazing and saved me SO much cost and headache. Was told by my home warranty plumber that I would need to remove cabinets and my granite countertop and backsplash to replace a pipe with PVC. What’s not to say about George’s Plumbing?!?!?! My wife and I were running into a plumbing problem with her Pedicure Chair. We were given a recommendation and now we will be the one recommending. I would not use another plumber. Anthony was beyond AWESOME! He was straight to the point, didn’t cut any corners, showed and explained everything that made sense. He was extremely professional and down to earth. Late this afternoon I had a leak in the wall that was starting to flood the laundry closet. I called Georges Plumbing and they sent out Seth and Anthony that evening. They were amazing! I called home advisor to send someone out to replace the pipes from under my kitchen sink and unclog the sink. He came with no supplies. I ran to home depot to get the parts. The tech completely installed the pipes incorrectly and said he would come back to work on it some more. Said he wasnt sent to unclog the drain. He also repaired a refrigerator gate valve and capped off a water supply line under my wet bar — converting it to a dry bar (no sink, but full of spirits). Well worth the wait and service received.
