Contacted Blessings Plumbing after hours! The next morning. Scott, the Tech was here at the time he indicated.Explained that this was not the first time we have dealt with this issue with the laundry drain backing up from the kitchen. Went to Home Depot and poured concentrated drain opener down into the laundry drain. WRONG!!!Approximately 40 feet of drain had been replaced and still had the gurgling sound after that.Efforts were made by Scott to snake the drain from a Valve that had been glued at the original installation. After cutting the Sheetrock to visually see what was going on, the plumbing was installed incorrectly and no TRAP was never installed 🫣 that would have been his access location for the snake. No wonder we couldnt find one😲.Scott informed me what he was going to do and why explained to resolve this issue weve been having for eight years. FINALLY, we can have this issue resolved. His work area was very clean as he worked on the plumbing issue from start to finish. He drove from VA Beach to Chesapeake which, is approximately 25 minutes without traffic issues.Blessings Plumbing Company are truly Professionals. Polite and courteous! Listened to our issue and resolved it to perfection!My wife, especially my wife, truly appreciate repairing the drain because it wasnt repaired before. Someone who looked at the problem and knew why we were having this issue for so long.Thank You very much,Rodney Walker

It is always scary when you know you need plumbing work done. My husband and I used Blessings plumbing years ago and we were happy with their service, so when we needed a toilet replaced this week because of a leak, we naturally called Blessings. Well I cant say enough about the service we received. Greg and Steve called us and suggested a toilet and a place to get it. They communicated throughout the day and showed up when they said they would. They were very professional and even cleaned the floor where the old toilet was before putting the new one in...who does that, no other repair companies I have ever used in the past. I can tell you the next time I need a plumber I will be calling Blessings. I have already told my family and friends about the exceptional service I received. Thank-you for making a stressful situation, stress free!!!!

Was unable to turn off water main to condo unit. Greg and Steve came out to look, found there was no real problem. As it turned out, the valve was working properly, just hard to reach and a bit stiff. When asked as to the fee for their time, they said no charge. Strongly recommend Blessings and their crew for the best customer service.

If I could give them a 5+++ I would. We had our hot water heater replaced by another plumbing company and called them back the next day due to lack of hot water. They insisted all was fine even though the max temperature was 100 degrees, only after allowing it to run for 10 plus minutes. Called another company to come take a look at it and they said they had no idea why we could not get hot water, but were happy to collect their service fee. Called Blessings Plumbing and they sent out two technicians who assured us they would not leave until they figured it out and they fixed the problem. Very reasonable rate, professional technicians, timely and respectful. Would definitely recommend without reservation.

We have an older house with original plumbing and needed a new shower valve. Stephen knew exactly what to do. He cut into the shower, removed the old shower valve, soldered the needed new piping and put a plate over the hole. I cant even tell work was done!! Stephen is professional, on time, communicated well with any questions, and has 35 years of experience! I highly recommend Stephen and Blessings Plumbing!

We have used Blessings Plumbing in Virginia Beach several times in the past 5 years or so.First time was a foundation shift under our home resulted in broken / bent sewer lines needing to be repositioned and strengthened. Also had to rebuild the adjacent toilet flange arrangement, due to that foundation shift. It has worked perfectly since then.Then, we moved our (tank) water heater from the kitchen to a tankless water heater in the attic. HVAC guys had run too light of a gas line when they moved the furnace to the attic. The Blessings plumber immediately recognized that problem and corrected the line to the proper diameter to allow for the greater flow need for both those appliances in the attic. Their installation was very neat and clean. I love having an endless hot water shower!Most recently, my parents condo had a toilet backup multiple times over the course of a few months. Each time I called them, they were there as quickly as needed. Even on a FRIDAY NIGHT! My father is in in-home hospice right now, and having his toilet functional is critical to him being able to stay out of hospitals or nursing homes. It was unusual for a toilet to clog these few times in such a short period. The first time, I was able to clear it myself. The next two time required their professional touch. Each time they had to remove the toilet from the floor to snake the drain, they reinstalled and cleaned up after the work completed; it looked as if they hadnt even been there. The problem was eventually traced to the sewer line beyond their building, with at least 3 separate breaks / shifts in that line, which was catching the stuff being flushed and causing a back up. They had the right equipment. A 100 foot plus drain snake, and a 100 foot plus camera to find and mark the trouble spots on the surface. When the utilities were dug up, their marks on the surface were directly over the sewer line faults, that were at least 4 FEET BELOW the ground!Could you find a plumber for a cheaper price? Yes. Would you have the confidence in knowing it is fixed correctly? Probably not. Each service call with Blessings Plumbing has absolutely been worth the price. They are professional. They know what they are doing. AND, they do it right.I am impressed with Craig Blessing and all his crews that have taken care of me and my family over the years. (They are who I call to take care of my own parents.) I recommend them every time one of my friends ask about plumbers.I WILL use them for my future plumbing needs.Jeff Laugle

Scott showed up at a moments notice to inspect the boiler in our Tailor shop. Long story short, we were lead to believe there was gas fumes coming from a stack. After thorough assessment he determined thankfully that was not the issue and so relieved! Being a holiday week I was surprised that anyone would even show up, but grateful that he did!

We had a water backup in our home. We called Blessings Plumbing and they sent two technicians over within a hour and It took them about 2 hours to work on the Plumbing backup. Stephen and Greg were very professional, nice, answered our questions and kept us up to date on the progress they were making. We also received a phone call from the owner to see if we were happy with the outcome. We are extremely satisfied with their work and we will definitely use them again.

Yesterday, I called Blessings Plumbing. I had a slow leak in my bathroom sink. I did a DIY fix on it and it worked for about 6 months. It started leaking a little recently and my wife found this out yesterday. I seen the Blessings Plumbing van every time I exited the my neighborhood as he and his wife liver right around the corner literally. So I decided to support a VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS and give his business a shot. Man was I ever right to call this company. They came in checked it out. Because the really couldnt find the leak being a small leak the replaced the whole section where the leak might and should have been. Snaked the drain causing the back up in the sink. Fixed the stopper problem. They took care of problems I didnt really know I had. Out of 5 stars I would truly have to give them 6! They really took awesome care of me. Then there is the fact they are my neighbors too! Definitely a bonus!Blessings Plumbing! Good People and Great Plumbers!If you have plumbing concerns or troubles dont hesitate to give these people a call!
