    Our technician Doug, was everything you want in a service provider and just can’t seem to find anymore.     Called A-1 American due to issues with the Air Conditioning Unit. They send their TOP Technician Mr. Jake Blackburn the same day I called. Mr Blackburn in just a few minutes troubleshoot the AC unit. The Technician answered all my questions and adviced me of my option regarding a repair or replacement but due to the age of my AC unit I opted to get a new Airconditioning Unit. Mr. Blackburn ordered the unit and scheduled the date of installation and showed up on time of the set date. Mr. Blackburn is a true professional and meticulous with his job. He updates me of the installation process and explains every step of the maintenance. I highly recommend Mr. Jake Blackburn the best in the business.

    My Gas Water Heater gave out and was leaking all over the Garage 2 Days before Thanksgiving.. Figures My Luck. I called A-1 and they said they would have a Plumber out the next day along with giving me a starting quote over the phone. Nick call and showed up at 9 am the next dy and assessed the situation and went through in detail what needed to be done to the water heater to get it up to code. I of course said go ahead, and off he went to get the water heater. Nick came back with a new water heater along with all the materials to install. It took him about 3 hours to replace the old flexible water lines with Copper Press Fittings both supply and return to the house and wrapped the pipes in insulation. He installed new expansion tank, which is now anchored to the wall, a new pan, new Gas Fittings. He cleaned up hauled away the old tank and told me how to change the waste Anode for a longer life of the heater, instructions were also in the heater documentation. Thank you Nick and A-1 my water heater is working better than ever.

    Chris is our HVAC technician and he is the best. Very knowledgeable, communicates well, respectful, and honest. For “emergency” plumbing services A1 is a little hard as they do not give time slots only a 30-60 min heads up call when a technician is on their way so I have had to wait all day waiting for someone to say they’re on their way to help. Other con with A1 is their “service fee” for paying with card.

    Excellent response time, great service. I called during the recent cold spell to report that my heater unit wasnt keeping up with the cold temps. Despite being busy, they managed to dispatch tech Ray the same day. He quickly found and corrected the fault (clogged line), checked the rest of the system, and recommended steps I can take to prevent reoccurance of the problem. A-1 American has been my go-to HVAC service company for over 20 years, and that relationship will continue as long as theyve got good techs like Ray.

    Our AC line was freezing up and not cooling our church. With temps in the mid 90’s and overnight lows in the upper 70’s the church would get very warm during services. Called A-1 American and they said they could have someone there the same day. Doug showed up, diagnosed the issue and added Freon. He explained the cost before effecting the repair. The AC has been been working great since. Definitely recommend this company.

    Great experience with A-1 American. Woke up to no cooling on a Sunday morning during several days of excessive heat. Made the call. Tech was here within hours. Earlier than expected. Our tech, Chris, was extremely nice. Talked us through the issue. It was resolved on the spot. Less than an hour and we were back up and running. Chris gave us some tips for continued maintenance and suggestions for possible enhancements to our system to consider since the system is over 10 years old. Never any pressure just friendly advice. Overall a great experience. Thank you A-1 and Chris!

    A-1 American has never let me down. Last night, the scheduled me immediately for an ac problem. They come promptly today for my emergency when my regular service provider (for which I pay a monthly fee) couldn’t come until August 1s. I would have been six days without ac!A-1installed my ac, air handler, and hot water heater in my attic. They also have replaced three toilets for me.I highly recommend A-1 for plumbing, heating and cooling service and installations.

    My AC stopped working and then I called A1 the next day. They had a technician come out the day after and he gave us a few options plus a military discount. He was very confident and efficient. He came out the following day and replace my whole AC stop system within five hours. I definitely would recommend Jake Blackburn to anyone with any AC issues.     One of the bathroom sink faucets started a slow drip-drip-drip. The next day it became a slow stream. I suspected the hot water lever needed a new cartridge (washerless).After I got one at Home Depot, turned off the hot water valve under the sink, but the water continued to flow. That didnt make sense to me. I turned off the water to the house, then the streaming stopped. I replaced the cartridge. I turned the the water to the housse back on, but the faucet still streamed hot water, even with the hot water valve turned off. Eventually, I called A-1 American Plumbing.Within a couple of hours, Dave Eason arrived and went right to work. I explained what I had done so far. He looked under the sink and noticed that I had a recirculation pump installed. I said yes, that it had been put in a couple of years ago. He said, that might be the problem.He turned the water back on to the house with the hot water valve closed to observe the water stream and faucet integrity. He turned off all water, disconnected the recirc pump and connected the water supplies directly to the faucet. The water was turned back on and the leak was gone.It was really as simple as that. I needed a new recirc pump, but the faucet itself was no problem. Thanx Dave Eason and A-1 American.

    Jake B called with his anticipated arrival time. He fiddle around. Asked initial questions and from there went straight to the attic to check out the air handler. Loose wire identified then went outside to the heat pump. Did a quick charge and he was out less than an hour. Good sercie

    10 years ago, A-1 American Services installed my water heater. Monday afternoon, I noticed the drain pan were full of water so I called the company immediately. Within 30 minutes, technician Jeremy called and told us he was on the way to check the water heater. We were lucky that we caught the problem before any mass damage happened. Jeremy clearly explained the replacement costs with the applicable discounts and scheduled the installment. The next morning, Jeremy showed up on time with the new water heater, and later on the owner of the company also joined him as the helper. They were very professional, friendly and respectable. As well as being efficient, the installation went smoothly and only took 3 hours. Jeremy cleaned up after the work was done, and patiently helped us to fill out the Virginia Natural Gas Energy Rebate form. It was a pleasant experience with the A-1 American Service and is highly recommend of their service to my community.

    A-1 American is an honest, forthright company. Our AC system was over 13 years old and failing. Our outside AC coil unit was working at maybe 1/3rd capacity. We knew it wouldn’t last through the coming Summer. We called 3 different companies to replace our AC coil. I was overwhelmed with what I received. The quotes varied greatly between them all. We had a quote for what we asked for (AC coil only), the others gave us estimates to replace the whole AC system. It just confused us more, made us question whether we were making a mistake by not replacing the whole system. I called the only company who gave us the estimate we asked for, A-1 American, and explained that we were now leaning towards replacing the coil, furnace and condenser. What surprised me was their willingness to work with us on the best price for replacing the system. A-1 American gave us a new estimate for the coil, furnace, and condenser that beat the other company’s estimates. We went with A-1 American because they did not try to sell us more than we initially asked for and accommodated us when we changed our requirement and for a better price than the other companies.A-1 American install services exceeded our expectations. We had Jake and his helper, Bradley, install our new system. Jake arrived and started on-time. They were so careful to protect my flooring and furniture. Jake took pictures of the work and explained everything they did. He not only did the install, but Jake also actually improved how it was setup. Jake made sure we were satisfied and happy with the install before he left. We had a good feeling of a job that went above and beyond when they left.From the initial estimate appointment to the negotiation, through the install, and the follow-up calls, A-1 American exceeded all expectations. We will be using A-1 American for our future needs.

    Jake, from A-1, replaced both our air handler and 3 ton heat pump. Weve owned a number of homes over the years and hands down hes the best HVAC tech weve ever had. He was punctual and kept us informed as to his arrival time. He quickly troubleshot and diagnosed our HVAC issue, recommending a replacement. He was meticulous in the work he performed, completing the installation in a single day, and making sure everything was working properly. Additionally, He was not satisfied with some of the ductwork insulation and came back several day later to repair it at no additional charge. Hes very experienced and has a friendly easy going manner. If Google allowed, I’d give him and A-1 American a 5 Plus rating.

    This past week I had my upstairs A/C unit replaced. They also did a first time install of a mini-split unit in the room over the garage. The mini-split is so quite! Other A/C company didn’t want to do it and they lost out. Owners Aaron and Meg Savell were an amazing working couple and the other workers were great too. They went the extra mile to make everything right. Even helped fix a noisy attic fan and also some advice on an outdoor ceiling fan I was installing. They are the best!

    I had Jake Blackburn as my service technician for my HVAC repair. He was very nice and let me know what diagnostic he was going to do and pricing up front. He didnt mind me watching (not being creepy, I just like to know what is going on for future reference) and explained to me what all he was doing. He ended up replacing the motherboard which had some obviously bad components. Luckily he had a new one in his truck. He even secured the thermostat wires better so that they dont get damaged from me doing yard work.I called A1 about the problem and was told that they would try to get someone out that day if not then the following day. An hour later Jake called me and said he was on his way and 30 minutes later he was at my house.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with his work today and will recommend him and A1.

    A-1 is by far the best company I have dealt. Not only did I get a quick response every time (within 5 minutes), but the technicians were thorough, professional, and on time for the job. It was evident that Kevin loves his job and enjoys helping people, and he treated us like we were family. He explained everything so that we understood every step, and the owner even contacted us to make sure we were happy. A-1 installed a whole new heating/cooling system including the thermostat and came back another day (for no extra charge) to test the a.c. and heat to make sure that both were working to perfection. I am very impressed with the quality, price, and service of A-1. As a teacher, I give A-1 an A+ in all categories! I will highly recommend this company over all the others I have ever used.

    Days before Christmas there was a smell that came through our heater, we called A-1 American and TC came out to take a look. Unfortunately at that point he wasnt able to find anything wrong. Christmas night our heater stopped working. We called A-1 American back and they sent TC back out to us on the 26th. He diagnosed the problem and we asked if it was possible to repair rather than replace, he said he would do what he could. Come to find out the unit we had was from a company that went out of business 7 years ago, he remained determined to do as we asked and he searched for all the parts. He was able to locate all the parts but the price ended up being just a couple hundred less than the price of a new unit. We decided to get a new unit instead. TC was very straight forward about everything with us, and we appreciate that very much.Marcus came with the install crew. There were several people in and out all day taking out our old furnace and installing our new one. At around 6 pm he was the last member of the crew still here and he was bound and determined to have heat for us that night. He was working on it until around 8 pm, but before he left he made sure the heat was working. Unfortunately something happened and it stopped working in the middle of the night. He had been honest with me about certain parts of the installation that hadnt gone quite the way they should have and he assured me that even though the install wasnt done, he would be back out to finish it the next day. He was here first thing the next morning and got everything working just the way it should. He had also explained to me that in the installation process a piece of our ceiling was broke and that they would send someone out to fix it for us.Aaron came out to fix the broken drywall in our ceiling and he did more than I was expecting. He did a fantastic job, and he even took a look at our outdoor unit that had started making noise a few days before. He was able to fix the noise problem, and highly recommended that we get our unit serviced in the spring to keep it in good working order. Which we plan on doing.We are very pleased with the honesty, pride, determination, and work ethic all three men showed us. Not only does it reflect highly on A-1 American for having such outstanding individuals on their team, it reflects highly on them as individuals, and I would highly recommend TC, Marcus, Aaron, and A-1 American to anyone in need of heating help.

    I just wanted to leave a quick note and say how awesome Ray was. I needed some maintenance done on a natural gas hot water boiler and to my surprise Ray showed up within two hours of me making the phone call. He quickly diagnose the issue, ran to get the part, and had it installed perfectly and under two hours. I certainly was not expecting that level of service and I will definitely use A-1 as my go forward. Everyone was incredibly easy to work with.     I am so very satisfied with A-1American and more specifically, their technician Jake!     On a Saturday morning, in the hottest of July days, the AC went out in my elderly mothers home (she cannot climb stairs due to a stroke). After calling three repair companies, one of whom installed the system and told me, since there was a unit working upstairs, it was not considered an emergency and to call back on Monday for a regular service call, and the other two never bothered to return my call, I called A-1 American. The lady listened to me and told me she would submit my repair to a technician who would contact me. Within minutes, I receive a text which gave me the name, Jake, who was the technician assigned to my work order. Jake called and came during the time period he said, he evaluated the unit, and diagnosed the problem. While he did not have the specialty part needed to repair the unit same day, he helped me with strategies to stay cool until he could get a price quote and respond by a specific time on Monday. He kept his word by calling on Monday with a quote and time to install the part. I was impressed and grateful that not only did he set an appointment, Jake made the repair a day earlier than planned.Before submitting a review, I waited to make sure the unit was fixed. The AC is working better than it did before I made a call. Thank you, Jake, for your professionalism and for being a man of your word.

    Jack Blackburn is the most knowledgeable and professional serviceman I’ve seem in over 20 yrs. He did a super repair on my old compressor - troubleshooting and replacing several fused wires. But my 15 year old system was on life support. After getting bids on replacement units from two others, even thought A-1 wasn’t the cheapest - I had the most confidence in Jake to do it right the first time. He was 10 mins early of his stated arrival time and completed the replacement of the compressor and coil professionally with everything cleaned up prior to his departure.Outstanding Service!!!

    This company has the worst customer service. They fixed a leak in a water line in our yard a couple years ago. We noticed water on the sidewalk and low and behold we have a leak in the same spot. It is supposed to be a 24 hour service but never got a call back over the weekend after several messages. I called this morning and one of them called and said they would be here in an hour. He showed up two and a half hours later. Was here briefly left to go to Home Depot came back was here a while and left agai. For a little bit. When I got home at 4:45 he was wrapping it up for the day and said he would be back in the morning. Was told when he got here he would finish the job today. Assures me we should have no problem using the water in the house which was not the case. Water did not work in the house. Look outside and it is flowing everywhere. I call the company then had to call back an hour and a half later before the plumber finally calls me back just to tell me he can co e out and turn the water off at the main so it is no longer flowing and he would come back in the morning. I call the company back again and leave a message to have a manager call me and they have the same plumber call me. If this is the way the managers and owners want to run a company I would not recommend them. We now have no water in our house and a floodin our yard out into the street and they just leave it that way.UPDATE:After speaking with the owner of the company the same evening of this review. They sent a couple different plumbers out the very next morning. They made sure we were taken care of and did an amazing job through the whole process. Thank you again for a job well done.

    I had an issue with my tankless water heater and A-1 came out to take a look. I was initially told this might be about a 4 hour fix; whatever, thats fine. 7 hours later, they told me they need to get parts for it because a lot of issues came up with things needing to be replaced. These guys came back about two more times before they said they needed another part and then it took almost two weeks for them to get that part and finish the job on my water heater.This sounds like a terrible review, but the whole time they were working with me, I could tell they were genuinely concerned with helping me and making sure everything was in order. Rachel, at their office, was always so kind and sweet when I called in about something. John was the technician who was working on the heater, and he was really good about communicating what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. This is a very professional and kind group of people that I was happy to work with.To top it all off, they sent me a nice letter in the mail to apologize about the delay and how long everything took. For them to take the time to do that is an amazing thing to me, and I greatly appreciated it. The only reason Im going with 4 stars is because I rent the home Im at, so I never had to see a bill for anything. I suppose the price of all of this might have changed my feelings about them one way or the other, but Im sure it wouldnt have been by much.

    I had both Doug and John come out to my property and help with my water heater issues. Both were knowledgeable and showed me how to troubleshoot the first time. They even gave me a heads up if the issue happened again (which it did) to try one thing and then if it didnt work call. I was quickly put on the schedule and was able to get a time that didnt require me to take off work (Im a teacher.)     This company was great! Although I have a home warranty, they could not find a contractor who could work on an Apollo unit. I had to outsource and called A-1 American as I knew they could. Marcus and James were back on Tuesday for install. They stayed until they knew it was working. It was 92 in the house and thanks to this company and the teams, we now have AC.     Our hot water heater was leaking onto garage floor and John very patiently explained what knobs to turn off and where each one was.     My emergency arose when I had an after (work) hour back-up in my kitchen sink disposal resulting from a clog in my drain pipes. I also found that my pipes were not securely connected. As I was checking them, they ended up coming apart at the joint and I could not put them back together. I called two other 24-hr plumbing companies, then A-1 American, and A-1 American was most responsive. When I initially talked to the technician on the phone, he was very amenable to my schedule and at my request moved my service call to the end of his day which gave me more time to get home from work the next day. Once the technicians arrived, they were professional, knowledgeable, quickly assessed the problem, and were quite fair and open with their pricing. They completed the job and further gave me some tips to keep the issue from reoccurring. I would without question use A-1 American again if I ended up in another bind.

    I had a problem with NO heat, and have dealt with A-1 before for plumbing and was satisfied, so I called for HVAC help. From the phone call I had professional courteous response. After examining my furnace he recommended a new furnace (mine was 20 yrs used), but got it up and running. As a few days went by it stopped again, Jake returned and we decided on a new furnace. Within 6 hrs. we had heat at a very reasonable price. The tech (Jake B,) went beyond the call and cleaned up the install very professionally and looks 125% better than the last install from the last time from another company (20 years ago).     Last week my kitchen sink disposal was clogged and I called A-1 office and was very pleasantly surprised to hear that someone would be out within a few hours. The reason I called honestly was because of all the commercials I have seen over the years. I really didn’t know who to call so I decided to take a chance on A-1 American. Jeff and Randy were great! They worked really hard to unclog my sink and when the clog would not clear using all the normal methods they started trouble shooting. They identified the problem and fixed it quickly. They were professional, courteous and personable… and cleaned up when they finished. I also was impressed how well they worked together as a team. I can honestly say the commercials are correct!     I dont remember the Technicians name but he was courteous and very professional. I had a problem with downstairs toilet filling up properly. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly. He went to the trunk and got the replacement part. He told me that the fill valve was defective. He replaced the part quickly without issue. The toilet issue was resolved in about fifteen minutes. He arrived on time and gave a text notice that he was on the way.He assessed the situation and capped off the pipe to prevent further leaking. This was a quick and inexpensive fix. He also removed the water spigot connected to the faulty line and capped it.He then applied a T spigot on the inlet pipe to the hot water heater. This fix provided a source of water for the front yard using a garden hose connection.Both solutions fixed the problem and were done professionally. I appreciate the fast response and professionalism by the A-1 representative. The solutions saved further water damage and inexpensive fixes.

    We called A1 this morning to see about a toilet replacement. they couldnt guarantee they could get someone out to us today but would try. when I explained we needed them right away Jeremy and Lewis called and made arrangements and got to us first thing. they were here for an hour and did a great job including the clean up. very respectable courteous and professional..i would recommend them to a lot of people.

    I called A1-American because the water would not drain out of my kitchen sink. Mike came out on time to my house. He asked what was going on and what i had tried. He then explained to me the problem and how he would fix it. As he was snaking out my kitchen drain pipe he explained how over the years grease collected inside the pipe. He snaked it out until we both heard the clog break apart. He then cleaned up and gave me some helpful information. He was very professional and friendly. I would want him to return again if i have any other problems.

    A-1 American really went above and beyond to ensure that the work needed in my home was done efficiently and at the highest of quality. The installers explained everything to me and when there was an additional problem with my water heater, went above and beyond by calling the manufacturer to utilize the warranty, retrieving the appropriate part, and returning to complete the job. They finished my leaky faucet before I could even check to see how it was going! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

    We called A-1 American for a minor issue that we were having with a slight leak under our sink. We we spoke to the office they were able to get us on the schedule for the same day (a Friday) and had someone over within a couple of hours. Once Bryan got to our house he was able to identify the problem, show us what was going on and then fix it. That was great - now, the reason I am writing a review is because of what happened next. The following Sunday we saw that it seemed to be leaking again which was frustrating. I was able to get in touch with Bryan directly, he came out the same day (again, a Sunday) and found that our garbage disposal actually had cracked and was in need of repair (just a coincidence - bad things come in waves). He showed us the crack (clearly was older and had been slowly getting worse) had a unit available and took care of it on the same visit. Was an excellent experience, would definitely recommend using them.

    Chris M. was spot on with the repairs. Started out with a sink sprayer replacement but unfortunately the right compression fittings were not available. Chris tried several ways to make a tight connection but the fittings just would not seat appropriately. He made a few recommendations and we ended up replacing the faucet assembly which he did without a problem. He was very knowledgeable and courteous! Will definitely ask for his service again

    We discovered a leak under our kitchen sink. I replaced the facet but water was still leaking in another area. I called A-1 American for plumbing problem.     We were pleased with the services of A-1. We called them early on the July 18 and they had a tech out that afternoon. Jeff was pleasant and professional. The cost was high, but was expected since we were totally out of Freon. He also told us since it was a fairly new unit that A-1 would help us with any warranty issues with the company if it was needed. Its something they do if they can help. They also give senior discount, which really helps in todays prices. Now thats service!

    My compressor went bad on a 13 year old Trane unit. James explained my options and showed me the price I would be spending. Due to the age of my air handler (original unit when the house was built in 1984), the air handler and condenser both had to be replaced. I have two very young boys that would need AC in the middle of July, so I didnt have time to shop around. The price seemed high, but after the fact and asking around to people I know that have recently had their AC systems replaced, the price seemed to be expected. James made some calls, recommended a brand (Goodman), and said he could have it all installed by the end of the day......it was 110 degree heat index that day. James showed back up around 1:30pm with all the new equipment and materials and went right to work. He never stopped to take much of a break and was drenched in sweat from the heat. Another tech, Kevin, showed up a couple hours later to help, and he too was covered in sweat from the heat and was working just as hard. They had the whole new system installed and running with cold air, and all the mess cleaned up by 8pm. They busted their butts and we had nice cold air for the boys that night. Thanks to A-1 and James and Kevin for getting the job done!The shut off breaker by the condenser went bad somehow while they were working on the system and they didnt have a replacement, so they just bypassed the breaker and pretty much just turned the box into a junction box, but I can fix that later when I have time. I can live with that.Great job! And thanks again!Update: As Im writing this, its been almost a week since weve had the new system. My house is nice and cool, and the system is running smooth with no problems. It doesnt run nearly as much as my old system, so Im looking forward to some small relief in my upcoming power bills. The heat index will climb close to 100 degrees this upcoming weekend and I am confident that well have a nice cool house. Thanks again!!

    We have had 2 issues with our air-conditioner in the last 3 months both different issues.We were given great service within a short period of time, with courteous repair men. They took pictures of the problem, gave us a fair estimate and fixed the problems both times. We knew what had to be repaired and that is what they did.     I called A-1 this morning to check on prices for a minor repair. Our puppy chewed up the power cord to the AC unit. We just needed that wire replaced. They told me $78 to evaluate and we would get a quote from there. I called and compared it with another company or two. After that I called them back and scheduled my repair for today. Me and my wife could NOT do another night roasting like last night. The technician, Jake B., came out quickly evaluated the problem (power cord needed replaced) told me what he was going to do and the cost. A bit higher than I thought it would be but reasonable. I told him to go ahead with the repairs. He not only did the repairs, but did some minor touch ups (i.e. bundling cords and taking preventive measures against puppies and wild weed whackers) as well. It was obvious he took pride in his work and the company he works for.I will have NO hesitation in recommending this company and technician to my friends and family. I will also have no hesitation in calling them for any future work that I may need.

    I needed a valve replaced on the line from my water heater. I called A-1 as soon as they opened and they assured me they would schedule me that day. I received a call back within minutes and was given the time frame that they would be there. Due to circumstance beyond their control the tech informed me that he was going to be a little later than what I was told but promised he would be at my house that day. As it turned out he was Chaz set to work and completed the task in short time. This company exemplifies the true meaning of professionalism from the person answering the phone all the way up to the ownership. The real standouts in this operation were the techs (Jeremy and Chaz), management (Skip Savell) and the ownership.     I had a big surge in my water bill and decided to call a company I had used before. Instead I called A-1 American and was glad I did.I had an appointment the same day I called . The lady was very polite.Larry and John came on time and explained to me that there is a leak and the flush valve needs replacement. I was hearing a loud noise prior to this when I tried to open the shut off valve.They replaced the part in a very reasonable time and it is fine now.I would use them in the future too.

    Called plumber I have used for years and they couldnt come until next day for my clogged kitchen sink. I walked through my den and their commercial was on, so I waited for the number to pop up and called A-1. Curtis came out and unclogged the sink and found galvanized pipe all under the house that I thought had been removed 7 years ago when I had extensive work done to the house. It needed to be done right, so we told him to go ahead and replace it all with PVC, which he did. Its always a rude awakening when out of the blue things stop working properly, and he assured us that this work would solve our problems.

    First I would like to thank A-1 American for great service and courtesy and dealing with my HVAC repair. I do not normally do reviews. The knowledge and professionalism that my repair technician TC exhibited while servicing my unit calls for an astronomical level of appreciation.. Thank you!I would like to Momentarily bring you into my world. I have a two-year-old unit that literally just stopped. After calling for hours on end trying to contact an HVAC company that could come out at 9 oclock pm on a weekend was hard. Needless to say there was no HVAC for me that night. The next morning I woke up with an urge to call on a large company and just see how it goes. I tend to like the call on small business owners. I I called a one American already frustrated as you can imagine. I had to go into the hospital for an appointment while I was in the hospital the A-1 team had a master technician already alerted and he said he was able to be at my home when I came home from the hospital. When I arrived shortly after TC did as well. He may have spent 15 minutes in the attic came down and told me that he could be back in the morning to fix my issue. I knew he knew what he was talking about the vibe he gave, It exuded confidence! He came back the following morning as he said he would when in the attic I had air conditioning within 5 minutes.. Through all of this A-1 American recognized what a lot of people take for granted, military service.... This was a pleasant surprise. Thanked me for my service acknowledging my service by telling me that they take pride in making sure the veteran population and are appreciative and taken care of as a company.     We have had a very positive experience with A-1 American. Our garbage disposal stopped working one evening. The next morning, we called and a service technician was scheduled for later that day.
