    They gave me a very fair deal on an hvac unit, then two weeks later when I needed a plumber for an emergency, they immediately sent out the extremely knowledgeable and competent Will. Will not only diagnosed the problem, he showed me how the system was constructed then quickly and efficiently solved the problem. Then he went the extra mile and cleaned it all up. I am keeping this company on my speed dial!

    We had Zachary from Cool Willys come to clean our mini-split air conditioning units and he was very professional, friendly and efficient. We definitely recommend him and Cool Willys for service. 🙂. We had to have a service tech come back out and Noah was sent. He did an excellent job troubleshooting with Mitsubishi tech support. He was very nice, thorough and knowledgeable.On a separate visit, we had Brian and Noah come to replace the head of our mini split and they did such a great job! Both of them were very nice, super professional and got the work done very quickly. Cool Willys has always taken care of us, definitely would refer them to everyone!

    Noah arrived earlier than the expected time and was very thorough and efficient taking care of our winter maintenance checkup.     Fernando came to my house to do some preventative maintenance. He did a great and thorough job. He took the time to explain to me all the work he did and explain each part of the inspection. Cool Willy’s does some great work. I’ve had great experiences with them in the past, previously Williamson’s, including getting a new AC unit installed by Walter. Appreciate their work and expertise.

    Brian performed our annual service on our AC unit to ensure proper function and operability. He was very professional, efficient and methodical. I appreciated that he explained everything he was checking on the system and also showed me a fan circulation feature we had on our Honeywell thermostat that I wasnt even aware of.     Noah is a very good & complete mechanic which is very hard to find in today’s world. He explained the work he completed with photos. All this effort made me very comfortable. No HVAC mechanic that worked in my home has had this much testing equipment that he purchased. This is not what 90% of mechanics that I have used in Tucson bring to job. The HVAC contractors only provide the service truck. He truly is proud of every job he does.

    This is the second time Kris T. has come out on a service call and both times he has been professional and thorough. He cleans up after his work is complete and always put on his shoe covers when he entered the house.The service calls were for different issues, the first was a water leak at the AC unit, which Kris took great care to rectify and its been completely dry since. The second was to evaluate why the new AC unit increased our bill by $100 this month. Kris found that the installers had not put in a surge protector during installation and the unit was running in response to a power surge error. As an aside, while working on that issue he found the float switch was not programmed to the thermostat and it was not properly vented, he took care of that too.Kris was great at helping me under what he was doing and why. The office staff has been helpful and kind on the phone and Cool Willys has provided me with great same day service, always within a couple of hours of my call.Thank you Kris and Cool Willys! This is a great company!

    Wally was my technician and he was very professional and fantastic. I was having my yearly maintenance check up and mentioned that some rooms in my house were much hotter than others. Besides doing all the normal stuff, he took a look at every vent and fixed the problematic ones, and now the house is so much colder without having raised the temp. He also noticed the thermostat wasn’t properly hooked up which was leading to outages and other problems. He took care of that too. I really appreciate how he was so detail oriented and meticulous about finding the source of the problems. He gave me great advice for better ac efficiency too. I’ve been working with Cool Willys for a year now and I’m so pleased with their work, their techs and how they help me save money and understand what I need to to look out for. There is no weird lies to sell you things you don’t need, and all of their suggestions were later affirmed by people I know in the contracting business. Top notch!

    I have been a Williamsons customer for over 30 years. I have had CoolWillys maintain and check up our large American Standard AC and our Reems heat-pump on our new addition and have subscribed to their 6-month check-up service.Noah came out after I called about a weird smell coming from our heat pump.He did a thorough examination complete with photos and meter readings and everything checked out OK. He told us about devices used to purify the incoming air for folks with allergies. We have 2 dogs and a cat, and my wife has allergies so we opted to try them out (1 for each unit).He was very thorough about explaining his concerns complete with photos and a real-time quote for the repairs and upgrades. This is the type of professional service I have become accustomed to with Cool Willy’s… Well done Noah!!

    I am delighted with the response from Cool Willy’s today, helping me with a mini-split system that had stopped heating. I called at noon, the dispatcher set me a 2:00 appointment, then called me back and asked if we could make it even earlier! Tyler was the technician and he arrived in a clean truck, sharp looking company work clothes, and tools in hand. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained it to me. He suggested a couple of alternative paths to go down, and I was convinced to buy a one-year membership for the small increment in cost, and some good benefits for me. In all regards, this was a professional job: great customer service, prompt and clean work, and a good price. Highly recommended!

    The service here is outstanding! We had an issue with our AC blowing but not lowering the house temperature. We had 3 technicians from other companies attempt to figure out the issue, each time they gave different reasons for the inefficiency too hot, unit too small, thermostat too new...finally, this summer we called Cool Willys, they got someone out to us within 30 minutes! They sent out Matthew M. He was fantastic. Matthew M. took the time to explain not only how the unit should operate efficiently but also gave us a proper diagnosis of the problem. He was thorough, very knowledgable and fast. Our unit was fixed the next day and is now operating better than it ever has in past summers. The prices are reasonable. We wont use anyone else for future issues.

    I could not be more happy. Ive used these guys for quite a few jobs over the last year. My home had an AC install from Intelligent Design here in Tucson in 2016. Within this last year I had leaks, more leaks, and a bad evaporator. When I used Cool Willys to diagnose the problem, they are absolutely clear in why the other companys install was not per spec and they provided pictures. Jerry L. is one of, if not the, best HVAC people I have ever worked with. He clearly knows his stuff and has the experience and know-how to still do the job. Cool Willys helped me update my furnace, replaced the evaporator under warranty, and were reasonably priced for the previous jobs. They give you a great breakdown in the invoice along with pictures. I will always come to these guys first and hope I work with Jerry.

    Is it possible to give 10 stars? My son was having issues with his sewer/plumbing in his house built in the 70s. He called a different company and they charged him for the house call, then another $300 to run a snake through ONE line. Then they quoted him $3,000 to do a band aid fix, and said it would be $5,000 to fix it for real. I told him to get a second opinion, but he did not want to, because they said the $300 would be put towards to the total cost of the repairs. Then I met Sam, who said Cool Willys could take a look. My son was very impressed with their service and the TOTAL cost was $1,500. My son learned 2 lessons: mom knows best, and call Cool Willys first.

    Cool Willy’s came out on a Friday afternoon in July. Tyler our technician was wonderful. We ended up needing a new unit and the process was very simple. Jim loaned a portable to us and the new one was installed promptly. Our installers Josh and Joel worked very efficiently and cheerfully in 110* heat. The new AC runs so quiet and cools very efficiently. Since the installation my nasal allergies have gone away!! I am a huge fan of this company and highly recommended!!

    I had error codes on thermostat but heating system seemed to working fine. I called after hours and a tech checked the codes and though they needed investigation, they werent time critical so Brian came out the following morning. He found frayed wires in my outside cooling unit....life in the desert...a mouse had been living there. Brian repaired everything and was very informative about the work he did to include taping the areas where the critters had access. He also showed me how to reset my thermostat when needed. Brian is a great technician to work with.

    We just had Cool Willy’s out today to service and set up our unit for the winter. Matthew, our service technician, was super efficient and detailed in showing me picture and explaining things about our attic unit. As our unit is 5 years old there were a few items that needed attention before experiencing unexpected complications. We have been using Cool Willy’s, formerly Williamson’s H/C, and highly recommend their services.

    Brian has been the technician that has serviced our HVAC system and two mini splits for the past year. He is very polite, personable, and neat and he really knows hisway around heat pumps and air conditioners. He was very careful to take temperature measurements of all of the units as he was checking them for their air cooling capability, and he explained all that he was doing and answered all of our questions. He took his time to make sure that we understood why he was doing the checks that he performed. On his previous visit six months ago he noticed that we did not have a carbon monoxide detector in the house and he recommended that we get one (which we did). We will always request Brian for our semi-annual checkups although Im sure that all of Cool Willys technicians are excellent. When you call to make an appointment you will find that Amber, the office manager, is extrememly polite and gracious.

    Recently had Cool Willys install new Furnace to our existing AC unit, (located in a very small tight space), which is a cumbersome task, everything went well, unit worked, home was heating. But within three weeks the panels around the coils started to leak, lots of Air was being pushed out of the unit into the small closet, its in. Cool Willys sent out Wally, he got totally involved with the issue, (didnt just put a bandaid on it) he sealed it completely from inside the panels, retaped the exterior, and added foam which helps decrease noise and makes the job look clean and professional.     We recently decided to try Cool Willy’s after sensing that another provider was incentivizing the promotion of optional improvements by making it seem wrong not to. This happened repeatedly. While it’s true that parts have a lifespan, we simply wanted to have more confidence than we were not being scammed. We hired CW to install a mini-split this summer and that went very well. The inspection of our 6-year-old was included in our complementary one-year service club membership. Zachary our technician was friendly and professIonal. He did find signs of predictable wear and tear and showed me photos that clearly showed the problem areas. We are scheduled to make those repairs early next month. We look forward to our continuing association.

    Noah came to help us on a Saturday because the HVAC suddenly stopped working and the house was getting really hot very fast. He found the problem quickly and got our system restarted fast. Noah explained everything very clearly. We chatted about the condition of the 20+ year old system after he fixed that problem, and he came up with some proactive maintenance options to help keep it running, plus a solid recommendation on a smarter thermostat.We worked up a plan and he came by literally first thing the next week--with help!--and they spent the better part of the morning scrubbing down the blower and coils.     Kudos to Wally! Great service tech.We had an new heat pump installed in October, and the heat strip was on back order. But it was still fairly warm out, and we forgot about it. With temperatures dropping below freezing, our heat pump just wasnt keeping the temperature up inside, and I began to wonder about the heat strip, forgetting that it had not been installed.I called Williamson this morning, and Wally (the technician) came out this afternoon. He suspected a defective heat strip, based on our symptoms, but then we remembered that it hadnt been installed. He called his shop, ordered one for us, and went and got it. He had it installed by late afternoon.In the evening, we noticed the heat pump wasnt coming on, and called after hours. When Wally heard, he got in his truck and came out about 7:45 pm. The disconnect fuse was loose in its bracket (really old fuse panel); he tightened it and it started up. When he came in to do the paperwork, I pointed out how much the new unit rattled the walls and pictures, and he said, Oh, thats not right. I can fix that right now. And he did.The unit is running properly AND quietly. Thank you Wally.

    Called and had Stuart knocking on my door less than 2 hours later. Stuart was friendly, fast, and efficient. Every company should afford themselves the opportunity of an employee like Stuart.     I had a new HVAC system installed by a different company in July, 2022. It never worked correctly. They were out 5 different times to fix it. Even though it is under warranty by that other company, I paid Williamson to come out and diagnose it. Walter came out, spent over 3 hours going over everything, and found two major issues, that he then corrected.     On April 19, 2021 Williamsons installation crew of Edwin Martinez, Enrique Chavez and Chris Baldenegro came to my residence to install a new heat pump. The crew was courteous, professional and just overall pleasant to be around. They worked tirelessly throughout the day to get my 21 year old single stage removed and replaced with an American Standard Platinum 18 variable unit up and running by days end. The install was really neat and clean. Williamsons and their crew delivered more than was promised.     We had Williamsons install a new air conditioning system at our house. We decided to use them because of their thorough measurements and explanations. Unfortunately, we had problems with the installation after that. We had a delay in the start date as we waited for the furnace for our unit in spite of assurances that they had all of the parts available. We were not contacted with a new start date and when we called, it turned out they were supposed to call us and were coming the next day. The unit did not fit in our space with the dampers that they had planned to use, the venting for the furnace did not fit well and we had to call several times to get them to finish our installation. The crews at our house were excellent but not really able to explain to us about problems and delays. All in all, the process took 3 weeks to complete when they had given us and estimate of 2 days after electrical upgrades were completed. Williamsons was the highest priced bid for this job and given all the communication problems, Im not sure it was worth it.

    Had Williamsons out for a quote in July and our rep, John Paul was very helpful and suggested we have our old systems tested for assistance from TEP and also wait until fall for some other rebates. We did that and with the testing we found we were qualified for the TEP rebate. While Williamsons was not the lowest bid we saw they were the most helpful so we decided to go with them. They installed two new units including gas heater in October. It took 4 days and the installers were great, did a nice neat install and cleaned up really well. About a week later they sent Walter out to check the system and he tweaked some of the things the installers had done and explained everything we needed to know about the system. Great service and follow up with a year customer service wellness plan. I recommend Williamsons very highly!!
