Richard Nevins was excellent. He inspected the hot water heater and found a part that needed to be replaced. He explained the replacement procedure and price. His replacement was excellent. He left the work area clean.Sal Prak came to check the operation of our mini-split AC. He explained what he was doing and what he expected from the system. Once the testing was completed he explained the results. Sal is very knowledgeable and experienced. He has great people skills! Excellent employee!

Jonathan serviced my two heat/ac units. He also put some rock salt into my water softener tank leaving me three bags so I wouldnt run out. First of all he was very friendly, polite and helpful. Rene Mariscal was exceptional ! He arrived a little after 3pm - at 6pm we have a new water heater. This job ended up being more than just a new tank. A connection to the old tank was slowly leaking and the area underneath the tank was wet and soft. Rene called in the remediation company. They cut out the damp wallboard and set up driers and fans. Rene could then install the new tank. So once the water has heated up we will be back in full operation. Rene was here the entire time (except when he had to run out and pick up the new tank). This young man was very professional but also very personable. I cant recommend him, and Orangutan, enough. So Orangutan, make sure you keep this guy! You cant get a better employee.

Andreas was very professional and through. He spent a lot of time checking out all the electrical elements and cleaned the outside unit. He was very polite and cleaned the debris that fell from the entryway into the attic. My husband was impressed with the work that he did .

Andres arrived within minutes of my calling to have my gas furnace, which was blowing cold air, checked out. He was polite, courteous, and promptly diagnosed and fixed the problem, which turned out to be a bad electrical connection to the gas valve.The whole process took less than an hour. If I have to have my unit serviced again in the future, I will ask for Andres.

From the office staff to the technicians, everyone is great. I had the usual 4 hour morning window. They called to let me know I was next and Chris showed up less than hour later. I chose Orangutan when I had to replace my AC a few years ago, as my previous technician (a one-man shop) had retired. Theyve always been on time and professional.When selecting my new AC unit, they gave me (and explained the trade-offs of) a number of options within my budget and I didnt feel like I was being pushed towards what was most immediately profitable.Their front office (scheduling) is very friendly and has always been easily reachable, and Ive been able to get the same technician for service calls, so I dont feel like Im just a number like I have with other companies I have used in the past.

Sal Prak arrived at about 3 PM and worked straight through until after 8PM. Sal had to troubleshoot the problem with a recently installed unit ( heat/pump) that had been installed w/ proper testing of the cooling system, but had not been properly tested for the heating system. When we attempted to use the heat, it did not come on. So Sal figured it all out and made all the proper connections in order that the thermostat was able to trigger the unit to work properly. I am super satisfied w/ Sals work, his patience and skills, and his work ethic. Thank you Sal!!!

Chris found a duct issue that had not been addressed when a previous company disconnected the swamp cooler. He will return to fix it. The team calls in a timely fashion for both pre summer and pre winter check ups. Joe k and Chris P came to my home in September. As usual they did a thorough check of my systems . Updated again a month later: small drainage problem found by a careful tech. It was very tricky and caused by a couple filters being clogged. Took a while to diagnose but problem solved quickly. We are very happy to have the maintenance service and this call was out to our home just 2 1/2 hours after we called it in! Sal was excellent and thorough.Our one year checkup on our AC system was excellent because the quality of the system and attention to detail great from Andres and Sal. We also got ten photos taken of the interior of it and the technical specs. The UV-C lamp inside has worked well and we are also glad that it is true that this system has far less dust and is efficient. Highly recommend this company.

It was a day with Colin. He came to flush out hot water heater and while he was here we talked about installing a R/O system. He had to go get the equipment from their supply place. Came back and installed it. While doing that he saw our old garbage disposal was corroded and leaking. Years ago I wanted my husband to replace it, but that didnt happen. So he had the disposal in his truck and we signed on for that installation. But the old pipe of some kind was still leaking so he had to go get another one at Home Depot and came back. Got that put in place and were all set. Colin was here most of the day and Im so glad we got it all taken care of. He was extremely pleasant and did his do deligence and kept on getting it done. I am so pleased and happy. Colin is a great guy. Thank you.

Chris and Thomas explain everything they were going to do - they covered everything to keep dirt and dust from getting on our furniture - they were very courteous and polite, and showed the samples of the dirt they cleaned off of the vents and replaced the filters for our system. This is the best service we have had in 10 years. John R. and Steven M. arrived on time. They very carefully explained everything to us as they thoroughly checked our system. They were honest about the things that needed improvement. They let us know what to expect in the future if we did or did not make changes to our system. No high pressure sales tactics. Steven has 27 years of experience! Both guys were professional and straightforward and pleasant. We would have them return for any and all of our service needs!Chris and Thomas cleaned our ductwork today. Right on time! Covered everything with plastic, cleaned all the vents as well! We could not have been happier and totally recommend them to anyone! They were respectful & polite & answered all our questions. Five stars for all their work!

It didnt take him long to figure out our AC issues that the other Orangutan techs couldnt after a week of suffering in the 90+ degree heat on the verge of heat stroke, and he even found an air gap in our furnace that had been reducing the efficiency of our unit. So it was measured out and Jonathan came right out and removed the original old 1953 one and now is good as new!!!
