Lou & Bill did a great job. It took less than 30 minutes from first phone call, for Lou to arrive and go over our water main replacement needs. We wanted Type K copper line, so Lou made some calls and found it. FYI - type K is the thickest copper pipe for water lines, so quite a bit more expensive than Type L. Lou provided us with a reasonable estimate, with work to start next morning at 8am.Bill & Lou showed up a few minutes early, and the job was done in a few hours. They were professional and answered all our questions. Would recommend City Wide for your plumbing needs, professional and less pricey than most competitors.

I destroyed my garbage disposal and had a sink full of water that wouldn’t drain. I sent a request for quote to City Wide. Within 30 minutes I had a response; a technician was finishing up another job and would be to me soon! Dave was there, replaced my broken disposal and on his way in an hour. There was certainly some luck in Dave being nearby, but it was still the best plumbing service I’ve ever had!

Since my unit was 10+ years old, costs have gone WAY up and so I was very deliberate in researching to find a provider. I chose City Wide Plumbing based on it being a smaller local business in good standing with the BBB and ROC. Their online reviews were overwhelmingly positive. In addition to reasonable upfront pricing compared to other plumbing contractors that bid on the replacing collapsed cast iron drain line that runs under the slab of my townhouse. Bill, Lou and David and their sub-contractors arrived at the agreed upon times. They were friendly and professional. The final bill was as as agreed upon before the work started. The work was completed ahead of schedule. I would definitely call City Wide Plumbing again and will recommend them to my family and friends.

When you call any service company there is always a worry that they will overcharge or suggest services that you don’t need. This is absolutely not the case with City Wide Plumbing. After a plumber from our home warranty company told us we needed to do some preventative repairs, I called City Wide for a second opinion. One of their plumbers came to the house, did a thorough inspection and told me that there was no reason in the world to do the repairs that had been suggested. After that, they had a customer in my - for life. We have used them for three plumbing issues after that initial experience and I cannot say enough about their professionalism, punctuality, attitude, and most importantly their expertise. I wouldn’t let another plumber in my house after City Wide!

Bill & his team at City Wide Plumbing are excellent. Ive been having difficulty with a Nuvo System, a citric acid-based descaling system (although the manufacturer brands it as a water softener, as an alternative to traditional salt-based softeners) installed by another plumbing company. After changing the cartridges in the system, I was noticing blue-tinted water in certain fixtures of the house, indicative of excessive copper in the water, which is what my house is piped with, confirmed with testing. The company that installed it had no answers, and made no attempts to figure out what the issue was, simply blaming it on the system with no further investigation. I called City Wide and, despite not having installed the system, they came out to the house and investigated. Prior to coming out, Bill had taken about an hour of his time - free of charge - to walk me through, over the phone, things to test in the house to see if the problem would solve itself. He is very competent in the area of plumbing, intelligent, and is a great problem-solver, knowing what questions to ask and what things to test. His team is equally knowledgable. When he and two of his team members came out - again, free of charge, all three of them were engaged with the problem, offering good insight. The problem appears to be working itself out, pending further testing and installation of new cartridges in the system. Based on their demonstrated knowledge, experience, and ability to problem-solve, I highly recommend City Wide plumbing for any unique, complex plumbing issue you may have.
