Quashawun and Dan went above and beyond. I had a major repair. They gave me two options with one being most cost effective. During the repair they ran into many obstacles, and could have taken the easy way out by telling just to do the more expensive option. However, they worked hard and used all the skill of their trade to ensure the fix was done right and at the right price. What could have lasted a few weeks, was done in a few days because they put me and my family first. I am truly grateful to them both. I highly recommend them.

Alan and Kevin did an excellent job. I needed a new drain in my bathtub and it was quite a tricky job. They replaced the drain and the overflow and checked for leaks. Kevin worked on repairing our kitchen faucet which was also very difficult. I recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing to anyone who is looking for a plumber!

Our technician drove to our Tampa home from Haines City, which turned out to be a two hour drive after Hurricane Milton. After assessing the situation, he was honest and said it’s a sewer problem with Hillsborough County. No charge, but took a picture so Ben Franklin can notify county. I called the County and I was shocked. Offices were closed! But a big thanks to the tech! We love Ben Franklin plumbling! Thanks for your honesty and showing up under these conditions. Can’t say the same for Hillsborough County government.

Not only were they able to make a same day appointment to evaluate the problem but David, the employee who came out to my home, was able to do a same day replacement, including rewiring the electrical and upgrading the plumbing fixtures to the proper standard. Well worth the cost to have the job done right and for the peace of mind that comes from having a real warranty from a company that stands by their work (this isn’t the first time I’ve used them).

I was very stressed abput a plumbing issue and expressed my issue and urgency to have the issue resolved as soon as possible when I booked the appointment. The scheduler was very empathetic and did her best to get me on the schedule quickly.I was given a 2 to 6 window which I wasnt thrilled about. However all that disappeared when the plumber Marcus called a few mins pass 2 to advise that he was on his way. Marcus was very pleasant, polite and understanding. He worked quickly, neatly and was very professional. He resolved my issue and answered all my questions and concerns. Should I require plumbing service I will be calling Benjamin Franklin plumbing and requesting Marcus for the service call. Great job and great service.

Jon Perez was our service tech and he was ready to go to work. Jon re-piped underneath the kitchen sink and replaced the basket strainer and tested for leaks. Very clean work by Jon. Also Jon PMed our water heater and performed a safety inspection through the rest of the house. We also signed up for the Scott family plan which includes One Hour Heating & Air and Ben Franklin.All work was done as requested, clean, efficient, and courteous work done by Jon. I am very pleased with the excellent five-star service I received from David Aegerter and from Alan of Ben Franklin Plumbing in Tampa on Thursday, January 11, 2024. They installed a brand new Rheem 40-gallon hot water heater for me that was very much needed. They were able to make a more direct line to the new hot water heater from the meter. This will help the efficiency of the system because the hot water heater is my only natural gas appliance. They also installed a new vent and sealed/caulked the area around the vent on top of the shed to avoid any leaks. New drain traps were installed in my kitchen sink. David and Alan are very courteous, conscientious and professional employees. I highly recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing and will certainly call them again when I need any future plumbing work done. Scheduling was easy by phone. Don’t bother with the online contact. It doesn’t work. Jack and Fabian arrived exactly on the scheduled time. They were friendly and professional. They diagnosed the problem. All aspects of the various solutions were explained clearly (including risks and costs for now and in the future). They explained about their membership program. I chose to join and it saved $$ today. I also chose to try the least expensive repair for now and take the risk vs the whole hot water heater replacement. Jack and Fabian worked very carefully together and they performed the repair for the minimum cost. They saved us more than $3000 for the gas water heater for now. We can now plan for its replacement rather than an emergency later. I think we’ll stay with BF Plumbing. They have been the best plumbing group we’ve had since we moved here 10 years ago. It was after-hours, but the person that answered the phone was able to immediately get something set up with dispatch. She was able to find the problem, which was a broken pipe coming off our well. Unfortunately the size of the pipe/connection we have was not one she had on her truck (and it was like 11pm so no stores were open), but she was able to come back out first thing this morning and completed the job. Shes very knowledgeable and Im so glad we found a plumber we can trust!I should also mention the amount she quoted was reasonable and accurate, and I feel as if it was a fair price.

And I love that they send text alerts letting me know when the tech is heading my way, with a picture of what they look like.The office staff is also very helpful. I called in to schedule an appointment and they had issues pulling up my account. They had to place me on hold for several minutes and when the issue was resolved they apologized and waived the service fee for my upcoming appointment. Very unexpected but very appreciated. Great customer service!Update (6/5/2020): Just had the toilets in my house replaced and Lisa did a fantastic job. Her attention to detail and commitment to doing the job the right way is why I will continue to use this company. I will say this though, I do think it was poorly planned on the companys part to send a solo plumber out to replace 3 entire toilets, two of which were upstairs.
