We had Grable Plumbing install a water heater. They text me an image of the installer before he showed up for the estimate. Really like that. Their price was hundreds below one of their competitors bits. Eric Shelton showed up to install the heater and did a phenomenal job. Clean, efficient and knowledgeable. Super Tech Sean Starnes earned the 5 stars.Called Grable to fix a damaged incoming water line damaged by an Oak Tree root. Cause of leak was identified very quickly and repaired fast by Sean Starnes.Once the water was turned back on, one of the connections failed and the water was turned off. Sean Starnes stated he did not let the connections dry long enough.Sean redid the repair again and waited 30 minutes before turning the water back on. He let the water run approx.5 minutes w/out any evidence of a leak. He covered up the hole with the dirt and we “ settled up “. Later the next day ( Friday ) , but more so Saturday night I noticed the water “ pooling “ right over the area where the repair was done. I called Sunday morning I called and explained the problem to the “ answering service “ and she said she would pass on the info and someone would call me Monday. Web page shows open 24hrs … doesn’t seem that way ….. does it. Sean Starnes arrived for the Monday appointment to fix the “ leak “. One thing I noticed is that he truly felt bad that the leak happened and wanted to make it right. I have used Grable several times in the past. I will recommend Grable and especially Sean Starnes in the future.

I can’t say enough how impressed I was. My tankless water heater stopped working right before Christmas. They got me in the next day and fully evaluated the situation (did troubleshooting on my unit), then gave me options and cost for fixing and replacing. Pricing for both options were very reasonable. I did not use this business but from now on they will be my number one plumbing company. On 10-12-23 Chris Diamond from Grable Plumbing came to our house to descale our Tankless Water Heater that we purchased on 3-21-22 from another plumbing company. That company’s plumber recommended that the tankless water heater be descaled once a year so the unit can still remain under warranty by the manufacturer “Navien” for the next five years.—Before Chris Diamond was going to start working on the unit, he asked me some questions. The two most important questions was “When was the unit installed?” and “How long have I owned the whole house water softener?” I responded respectively with one and a half years and approximately 6-7 years ago. After I answered all of his questions, he called his office while I waited. When he finished, he started walking towards me and I asked him if there was a problem. He said no.—Now, it gets very interesting. Chris Diamond told me a lot about my tankless water heater and the manufacturer. He told me he was going to be extremely honest. I have heard that before from different types of companies but Chris Diamond really meant it. Then, he proceeded to tell me that the manufacturer “Navien” does not need the unit to be descaled yearly to maintain the contract because we have a whole house water softener with a carbon tank. If I remember correctly, he said the carbon tank removes the calcium from the water. I was initially quoted $341 to descale the unit. This means that for the next four years I will be saving at least $341 a year and on the fifth year I would pay the current price then. If he did not inform me about not needing to service this unit, I would never have known that. He could have easily said that he will get started on servicing the unit but he was extremely honest. They should rename the business “Grable Plumbing ➔ The Honest Company.” I believe most people would not believe the honesty unless it happened to them. As far as I am concerned, they are the most honest company that I have ever dealt with in my 71 years on this planet. I hoped this helped most of you reading this long review.

Grable Plumbing is definitely a reputable company. I had previously had repairs done and was having issues 2 years later. When they came over they called Mr. Grable to review my previous repairs. Grable Plumbing returned to my home and identified the problem and repaired it at no cost. The are definitely a company with high integrity and I HIGHLY recommend them. The repairmen were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I have used them throughout the years and in my opinion they are the best plumbing company in the Tampa Bay Area!! JOB WELL DONE!!

Had another notable Tampa plumbing company come out last month and plumber misdiagnosed problem as bad faucet. Even after I suggested couldn’t it be within plumbing under faucet, he said no. This is first place Grable’s Chris and Dave looked and was source of problem. Now I hope Kohler will accept return of $700 kitchen faucet I bought based on previous plumbing company’s misdiagnosis.

Too expensive.Over $400 to detect a leak which ended up being a difficult to turn off hose bib outside….fix was to turn it off more forcefully. Got job done.When I originally called I was told that the ‘show up fee’ would be deducted from repair bill?? Not done I don’t think. First time I called Grable was last year to have my water heater replaced. Yesterday I had to call them again as there was a leak in one of the outside hose bibs. Just like my first experience with them they were on time, kept me informed the whole time and the person was courteous and professional. He did a great job repairing the leaky faucet. Price was reasonable considering the plumbers charge almost the same as doctors :).I called Grable to fix a plumbing leak in the wall. The first they came they could substantiate the leak so they left wirhou5 charging me. I had the leak detection company come again and check for the leak. Though they could not find beyond a moist pipe they insisted that the leak was coming from an elbow in the wall. Grable came in again and this though the tech could not the leak to be there he replaced the elbow since it has rust stains on it. They are not cheap but i trust them over some other company that does a lot of advertising.

We recently had need of replacing our hot water heater. But the story was hardly that simple. Our condo had somehow been equipped with a larger, 120-gallon heater and this was tucked into a closet in a bedroom. Given its age and a recent experience with flooding in the condo building, we were convinced that the answer for us would be a tankless heater.As we began the research and shopping process, we discovered Grable Plumbing and contacted them for a bid. They promptly sent a knowledgeable technician and that proved to be confirmation that Grable was the company in which we could put our trust.In the intervening time from the research to the installation of the new tankless heater, a strange phenomenon caused the water pipes to begin to make loud (and I mean LOUD) foghorn-like sounds at intervals 24 hours a day. We were greatly concerned at disturbing the neighbors, and eventually just shut off the water feed and the power to the old heater. Yet these mysterious sounds continued. Chris, our technician, was skeptical about this phenomenon and suggested that there was a bigger issue about water pressure values in the condo risers. He was eventually proven absolutely right.Grable Plumbing did all that they could to accommodate out schedule in expediting this installation and removal of the old tank. Their advice to us by phone as we were attempting to coordinate schedules with our electricians to have the required power run to the heater location, was prompt, courteous, and precise.Ultimately, the job with all its difficulties, its challenges of draining and moving a 120 gallon tank, the preparation and installation of the new tankless unit, and working around electricians who had prewired to the location but need to connect to the unit, was done wonderfully.In short, Chris V. was the technician that one would hope for on any job. He was not only highly competent, but polite, intelligent, malleable, good natured, and clearly comfortable with the challenges. His assistant Cody was likewise polite and hard working. Our experience with the entire company including Dawn and Savanah on the phones was not only positive, but greatly assuring that excellence can still be found in the trades. I have owned several homes including a century old historic structure that required not only renovation but careful curatorship. So, I have seen contractors and technicians come and go over the decades.None could hold a candle to Grable Plumbing! Bravo to them.

The gentleman who came did the work quickly and cleaned up after himself. 2nd. call: I bought a water softener and needed the system installed. Same gentleman not only installed the system but flushed my water heater as well. Removed a garbage disposal unit and installed regular plumbing.He showed up exactly on time and was very clean. The company also called later in the day to follow up on the work that was done to my satisfaction.

Chris R was great. He came out and got to installing the tankless water heater (and removing the old hot water tank). Worked well with the electrician who was responsible for running the new power supply. Also installed a new water line for a refrigerator in the garage. Got it all wrapped up timely and everything works well and looks nice. The placement is professional and tailored to my needs (no plumbing below a certain height and distance from wall) and he did it all with a professionalism that is becoming more rare these days.I am also mentioning Chris D who came out originally to assess my burned up water heater to begin with. He provided a few options and worked to make sure my needs were met. The team is great and I highly recommend them. Keep up the great work.

Used this company for a repair at my moms house. Service was just Ok and might have been a misunderstanding with the plumber about the job. I was disappointed and reached out to company with my dissatisfaction. I received a call from the owner which was a nice surprise and we resolved the issue. Very commendable.Will use them again
