    Very happy & satisfied with prompt service call to access problem with blocked bathroom tub and walk-in shower drains. Tobi was able to determine what was needed and completed the roof vent clean out in minimum time. We were impressed by Tobis professional appearance and friendly demeanor. We called Alvarez Plumbing previously to repair copper pipe leak under slab in garage and would certainly recommend the business for any needed plumbing repair services.

    I had the pleasure of using Alvarez plumbing for an emergency job at my bakery. We were unable to use our sink because of a blockage and we needed a plumber ASAP. I was contacted almost immediately after submitting my inquiry to schedule my services. They were even willing to come out the same night! The 2 gentlemen that came were very courteous and knowledgeable. They finished the job quickly and even cleaned up after themselves efficiently. I would definitely use this company again.

    John and Alvarez Plumbing saved our outdoor Thanksgiving dinner this year when a pipe on an outside faucet was damaged causing the main water line to be closed off. A temporary halt of food prep, bathroom use and festive fun ensued but Alvarez answered immediately and assured us they could take care of the emergency. The holiday service call was $150 plus cost of repair, which was completed within two hours. Thanksgiving festivities resumed as planned for our large family gathering. It was a beautiful evening and added one more item to our 2024 Gratitude List.

    Both the person who answered the phone to schedule me for service and the repairman who came to fix my air conditioner were so considerate, understanding, and good at what they do. My air conditioner quit just after the hurricane. Some companies told me it would be a week. Alvarez came the same day. The price for the service call was half of what the other company was going to charge me. The technician provided me with education on how to avoid the issue in the future (drain had plugged). This is a family owned company and provided excellent serviceā€”much appreciated!

    Excellent service. Called on a Friday; was scheduled and repair completed (evaporator motor replaced) within 3 hours. If not for Fridayā€™s 4 PM rush hour traffic, the repair would have taken about an hour and a half. The technician, Zeke Brumfield was highly experienced and professional. He diagnosed the issue within 10.minutes of arrival. My neighbor recommended Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning to me and I highly recommend this company also.

    On a Saturday at 1:30 PM, I put out request for Service to five different plumbing companies. Although some returned the request stating they could not do the job Alvarez plumbing not only got back to me the fastest they were able to send someone within the hour. my technician, David was extremely helpful and thorough in his investigation of my leak.     Alvarez was able to see me same day to address my issue. When it required some special parts they scheduled me for 48 hrs later and came back to complete the job. Perry was so kind, explained what was going on and repaired everything well. I swear he left my kitchen cleaner than he found it. Highly recommend.

    I cannot express enough how impressed we were by their professionalism, communication, and knowledge (and prices are reasonable too!) Every person we interacted with from quoting the new system to the technicians who installed it to the scheduler on the phone was extremely friendly and seemed to care about delivering excellent service. We even had a technician come back out to install a Nest thermostat since we werent home to sync the app when they came out to install the new unit. Top notch AC company!!

    Absolutely fantastic service! We had a leak and our tech Geraldo was nothing short of a superstar!! He diagnosed the problem no Freon! He added a dye and Freon so we kept cool and to find out the leak! 2 days later he came back, found the leak and told us what we needed. Today he came back made the repairs and we are good!!! Fantastic over all experience! Would highly recommend Alvarez !

    Helene drowned our central a/c unit in salt water. Called a half dozen a/c companies that all promised to call back and schedule an inspection. None did. Called Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning yesterday. They didnā€™t promise a call back to schedule an inspection. They actually scheduled an inspection for today. Jeremy came at 2:15 today and did the inspection and listened to what I had to say. So far so good! Imagine in todayā€™s world a company that actually does what they said they were going to do! Refreshing to say the least!

    Jeff was wonderful and extremely helpful with all his knowledge. I called at 11:45 am with a leaking HVAC and Jeff was here at 12:30 pm. Took him 2 hours to complete the job and he provide before and after photos and videos of everything. He completed. I will now be using Alvarez for my yearly maintenance.

    The technician they sent did a great job. I knew there was a problem with the duct work under my mobile home and the tech listened to my concerns and we were able to pinpoint the problem together. I expected after seeing the disconnected duct that hed want to schedule another time (and maybe another crew) to fix the issue. Theres very little space under the home and the working conditions are not so great, yet he crawled under and made the repair immediately. Thanks so much.

    After reporting a faulty hot water heater to my home warranty company, we had two other companies either try to schedule us a week out or pad their quote with a bunch of unneeded modifications. Having a full house without hot water a week before Christmas wasnt planned and unfortunately there are some who try to take advantage. We quickly started looking around for other options.Alvarez Plumbing took the time to send over a tech to assess the situation and provided a solution that fit our needs without trying to oversell. They gave a reasonable quote to replace the water heater the next day and honored their new customer promotions.     I had a great experience with Alvarez. I realized my hot water heater was leaking so I gave Alvarez a call. Gabby came the very next day and gave me an incredibly fair quote, and could start work the next day if needed (I needed to give 24 hours notice to my HOA). So, we were able to start two business days after, and the professional team took care of everything. I have recommended Alvarez to other family members also needing hot water heaters and other plumbing services, and will be using them in the future.

    My outside air conditioner was submerged more than half way up from flooding. I was concerned it would be an expensive fix. Zeke came and could see right away that the electrical part (I think) didnā€™t get wet at all. He did say the liquid levels were not at their recommended levels for the ac to work best and so I had him add what was needed. It didnā€™t take long and I was able to go into my place feeling the air getting cooler already!

    This is the 1st time I used Alvarez AC, theyā€™re supposed to be veteran ran, Iā€™m a vet, so thought itā€d be a good fit. They came out on 8/15, my AC was leaking but started leaking again 4 days after the service. I was disappointed, but they did send another Tech today, Iā€™m appreciative that they sent someone back out, at no cost to me, hopefully, itā€™s fixed, but theyā€™re may be an issue with the coil that was installed last year. They are working with me, unfortunately I may have to replace a part. The Tech was really nice and thorough, I trust he knows his craft.

    I am writing this review even before our service tech, Julio, has left my building. Without boring you with all of the details, when I called Alvarez Plumbing this afternoon to help with bathrooms that werent draining, the person on the other end of the line (Marcie, maybe?) was AWESOME. Super sweet, friendly and made me feel like she really wanted to help, not just get through our call. Julio (our tech) called about 30 minutes later and said hed be at our facility in 15 minutes. He was on time and got right to work. He stayed with it until well after I was ready to throw in the towel and give up. His tenacity and willingness to call others at Alvarez for suggestions and ideas ultimately solved our issue better than I ever could have hoped for. Seriously, world...if you need a plumber, call Alvarez. We will from here on out, I guarantee!!!

    Alvarez came to do my yearly preventive Maintenance to my AC and did a wonderful job! The tech was on time, cleaned the unit inside and outside and fixed the drain pipe.     They were the quickest to answer the phone and got me on their next day schedule for a clog at my airbnb. Michael arrived within the timeframe, discovered the problem and explained it to me.     Toilet was leaking from the tank and at the floor. We just couldnt get it fixed ourselves. Sent Alvarez a work request in the wee hours of the morning and they were here by 11:30 a.m. and got the whole toilet up and running again. We were provided with an estimate before the work started and nothing changed. Price was very fair for about 2 and 1/2 hours of work. Plumber called ahead to let us know when he would be arriving and we also received a text with that information. Everything was very efficient and professional. The work area was all cleaned up.Had Perry out again today from Alvarez to work on our other toilet. Also our tub deck mounted faucets were leaking. Perry took care of everything. Perry is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience.Another great job.

    Luiz C. is awesome! Weve used Alvarez for our regular maintenance for quite a while now but recently our A/C quit completely. As soon as we called, they were able to send someone out that same day! After being walked through the issue and even advised on what to do afterwards, with a backup plan, we had the issue fixed that very evening! No attempts were made to sell any unnecessary parts or repairs, just quick and honest service! I called they had same day response emergency explained everything up front. They Text me name of technician Evis Paredes & eta time. Plumber showed us both the problem, explained what he was doing & the cost. He cleaned up, cost was reasonable. I definitely would use Alvarez Plumbing 24hrs again.

Scheduling is always quick and I was able to be seen same day. The technicians are extremely knowledgable and honest. And I know that the work will be done right the first time. I had a toilet isolation valve replaced, a new flush valve installed, and a kitchen sink flange replaced. l appreciate that Alvarez technicians never try to to upsell for services that are not needed. Ricardo recognized a few other potential issues for me to keep an eye out on for future work and quoted those on the spot.     Just got charged $49 dispatch fee for a job that they priced at $408. The cartridge needs to be replaced in the shower, Iā€™ve done everything but take the cartridge out. The tech told me it was something I could do myself and I could get the parts on Amazon for about $50. I said ā€œoh let me checkā€ the helper started giggling. I asked why he kept giggling and heā€™d brush it off.So the dispatch fee I paid today doesnā€™t get applied to repair for the same repair issue tomorrow. Thatā€™s crazy.The tech looked at the plate Iā€™d already taken off, called out the brand and the cartridge and tapped on the iPad a couple time and gave me $408.No inspection, no report, no analysis or written anything saying what the issue was. No estimate, no price guaranteeā€¦ Just an invoice for them showing up and telling me what I told the lady over the phone.The tech switching back and forth from if the cartridge will break or not based on who does it between he or I was frustrating because of course it always breaks because itā€™s CPVC but it he does it, it can be done in 30mins but ā€œmaybe moreā€ but somehow I can do it, he can tell me how***UPDATE***: Scott Hinz called me and apologized for my initial experience and asked what he could do to rectify the issue.After some conversation, we came to an amicable agreement and a tech came out the next day to complete the repair.The tech came earlier than expected, was pleasant and professional and completed the task fairly quickly.Thank you for taking care of the issue.

    Tampa is not a city itā€™s a very big town. The service I received is on par with that opinion. The tech showed up like we were old friends. He immediately introduced himself and put on shoe covers before coming in the house and got right to work while explaining everything as he went. Itā€™s hard to say how he immediately earned my trust but at no point did I feel like he was working by the hour but rather working to give me the best service possible as if he was the owner of the company. Iā€™m not sure what is standard with a cleaning/general checkup but I am certain that it was 3pm in the Tampa heat and with a million percent humidity and at no point did he seem anything but pleasant, professional and determined to give the best possible service to include getting in the attic and fixing a issue I didnā€™t know existed but ultimately made a massive difference. As much as we were sweating you would have thought we jumped in my pool but that didnā€™t stop him from giving me a full breakdown of what he saw as well as recommendations for what to keep an eye on in the future. If you can give 6 stars I definitely would.

He took pictures, was very thorough and consulted with their department that handles re-plumbing the entire house. The cost for the amount of time that was here was again very reasonable.     I accidentally bumped the PVC pipes for our sprinkler system while mowing the lawn. This resulted in a bad leak. When I tried to shut off water, I realized the leak was prior to any of the convenient shut off valves. When I called, they were professional and timely.     Had an urgent need of a plumber this morning, contacted Alvarez Plumbing, and soon after Julio was sent to fix my issue. He was fantastic, diagnosed the problem and advised me of how he could fix it, along with the best price. True to his word he expertly rectified the situation and now Im one happy camper. Hopefully I have no more urgent plumbing needs, but if I ever do, Im contacting Alvarez Plumbing, and asking if they can send Julio.
