Our AC died completely after Hurricane Milton. We regained power on a Sunday. On Monday, we called Acree for help. I was shocked that they had a technician available the next day. On Tuesday, Mark showed up. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to walk through options with us. Although we were disappointed that our system was dead, we were once again pleasantly surprised that Acree could have a new system installed on Thursday. Adrien arrived on Thursday and had everything I stalled in just a few hours. And the new system is amazing! We really didnt know what we didnt have until this new system was installed. I never knew that an AC system could cool a house down efficiently in just a few minutes. Mark was very friendly, down-to-earth, and personable. Adrien was clearly knowledgeable, skilled, and efficient. Acree communicated clearly with me from Monday to Thursday. Again, with the gas shortage and obvious increase in need for their services post Hurricane Milton, Acree went above and beyond my expectations. We will continue using them and recommending their services!

The Acree business was operated at every juncture in a professional capacity—from office communications, to the three trades employees who worked in my home for me. I had Zack for my plumbing, Chris doing my irrigation system, and Alex and Minh for my electrical work. All were on time and performed their trades expertly, efficiently, and as professionals. In particular Zack, who acted much as a group leader might. Zack listened to me each time I spoke, answered my many questions, and always offered reasonable explanations and solutions. He was appreciative of my efforts and thoughts. His willingness to listen, share, and ultimately perform the work expertly were admired and appreciated. Chris was uniquely qualified for his work as he he recently lived and worked in my HOA; and he solved a major problem for me. Both Alex and Minh quietly and professionally completed my garage electrical system—one which was extremely inadequately designed. Now I am able to work in my garage with electric tools without having to run cords from indoors. I am so happy despite the high cost of all the work; I’m expecting to be able to sleep at night now because my water issue has been resolved and getting PASCO water off my case. He provided a detailed course of action to service my already old AC unit and completed the job in less than 3hrs. I had 3 vendors to my house to find out why my Salt Cell on my pool wasn’t working. Owen from the Electrical department of Acree came out and found the issue and fixed the problem. Terrible | Just use a family owned place because this place itemizes you and you’ll end up on the short side of the stick, for essentially basic work.My technician Alexander Romero left my job without solving my problem that I called for: which was the hot water was not running full pressure (but cold was) only in the kitchen and my end bill was still $297.00. We changed 1 2 port pressure valve under my sink- only the hot water side - not even the cold. Not once did they suggest changing the cartridge in the faucet - which could solve the problem - they just recommended changing my whole new 250.00 prior faucet I installed with a new one.For 297.00 and the problem not getting solved - just a wonderful example of how even using these big companies - you can be taken advantage of. I’m pissed to say the least.UPDATED | 10.29.24 | The company did a solid job following up with me, after the review posted.They did execute a refund back promptly, I will say - I was pleased with the follow up recovery efforts taken by this company.

Im satisfied with the service. Zak came early for his appointed time and knowledgeable to fix the problem in our water heater and ordered the parts needed to complete the work. Glad tho we are having hot water at this time. Still waiting for the parts from the manufacturer. I have to pay double tho for the service. I thought it was for free because as a valued member its included for every service. Thank you Acree Air.

All the staff were super friendly. I received clear communication as to when they could get someone out , they text & called before coming. My plumber was Zak Kolnicki he was very thorough on finding where the leak was coming from in my laundry room, he showed me everything & explained in full detail how to fix it. I especially loved that he wasn’t messy he treated our home as his own with care & integrity!

I don’t leave a lot of reviews on Google but when I do - I try to add details. I called Acree for help with my Generac 22kw standby home generator over the weekend after the storm. This company was the only one answering the phones while I tried for days after hurricane Milton. They sent Connor out within my schedule the next weekend. He was knowledgeable and a good bedside manner tech who didn’t BS me and took all the notes and troubleshooting I already did and got done the testing he needed. Follow up was impeccable as they ordered parts and even let me know before the 2nd appointment that Generac had delayed the shipping for what we needed. 10/10 cannot recommend enough. If your Generac has issues or needs yearly maintenance, go with a local company who isn’t trying to upsell or hustle you. Thanks guys! The second visit had Connor Z again and Dylan who explained what they were doing and were clean and polite and efficient. A+ we appreciate you getting all the leg work done with the warranty people at Generac.

Cody Kyle spent hours in post hurricane traffic to get to me in Clearwater Beach to identify the source of a broken pipe in the plaster ceiling of my guest room bath. He quickly found the unglued fitting that had separated from the pipe causing major flooding and fixed it, tested the repair and called his supervisor to arrange one of Acree’s HVAC technicians to come out this evening to identify the reason I have no AC. Having been without water for 3 days and AC for 4 I am extremely grateful for Cody’s determination, professionalism and customer service.

Caller Acree to help out 3 months ago when my a/c finally gave out on me and they took care of me and so of course when my toilet decided to bite the dust they were the first call. Zach was great and was able to diagnose the issue within minutes. Not only was Zach great with explaining all the issues , he was also very knowledgeable about the differences of toilets and issues that may occur over time. Zach was able to fix everything and it only again reaffirms my confidence in Acree to always call them for all my issues. But really , from the receptionist, to the technicians , I’ve always had great customer service with Acree and would highly recommend them to everyone I could.

Daniel my technician was quick, easy to work with, professional, and he mad me laugh which helps me feel better about the damage to the home. With plumbing you never know if you’re going to be taken advantage of or charged unnecessarily for things you don’t need. Once again, Acree Plumbing proved to us that they’re not like the rest.Zakary Kolnicki and Gary Tomblin were incredibly professional: they were genuinely friendly, thoughtful with their insights, quick, efficient, and mindful of cost. When they started work on a toilet repair they quickly realized the project was bigger than initially expected — but they were unflappable and solved it without throwing more fees at us. We’ve been through a season of everything breaking and have seen a LOT of repair professionals — this experience was a breath of fresh air and unlike a lot of the others. We’ll absolutely be using Acree in the future.

Needed help for a water heater that suddenly started leaking on a sunday. Called another company first but could not send anyone. Acree sent a technician within 2 hours, and it was early evening. Professional and wonderful attitude. Water heater was replaced the next day. Alex was great! He was able to lay out my options as well as worst case scenario. After finding that it may be the case that I needed to change a few more things in the home, he informed me that he was able to save the box dust reducing the cost overall. He also ran into an issue with the electrical something that was discovered when drywall was removed. He was able to get me connected with an electrician that works for the same company. They are scheduled to come out to fix that issue in a few days. It has been an amazing experience. They were out here the next day between the times noted in my appointment. Alex was very informative even took a look at my water heater. Let me know that it might need to be replaced soon based on its age. I have saved his number and will be working with the company to get the electrical issue addressed as well as , any recommendations for someone to patch in the drywall missing. He was able to install my new washer as well. No need to call Home Depot and wait. Another few days to get that done. Everything is up and running working perfectly. He tested all of the waterlines as we needed to shut the water off to install the new washer and new Connecting valves. He cleaned up was very courteous and professional.

He instantly scheduled my service for the next day. Aaron and his partner were at my door bright and early, and were on the project for majority of the long days ahead. Zak was just here today to put the finishing touches on the job. They were friendly, hard working, and very conscientious about keeping the dust level down, and cleaning up at the end of the day. Additionally, Jermaine checked in on me every step of the way. Thats customer service! I dont know any other company that goes above and beyond for their customers like Acree does!

FIRST: We were met by Marcus who came out and inspected what we had and gave us a no B.S. estimate of what it would cost to fix it and a FREE estimate (actual price) of what a new unit would be. He came in under nearly $4,000 of other competitor estimates. SECOND: Same day Mr. Michael (Mike) and his crew came to install the new unit. They were professional, courteous, and answered all of our questions. The install took nearly 2 hours. I asked if he could bolt the unit into our concrete, he did. I called Acree inquiring if there was same day availability to address a bathroom leak (not easily accessed or would have done it myself). The rep on the phone was courteous and helpful and scheduled a same day appointment. At approximately 2:30PM, I received a text stating Jeff was enroute.This was by far the best experience we have ever had with a plumber, no joke. Jeff was polite and quickly assessed the situation. A couple hours and a few hundred bucks later, problem fixed! This whole experience could not have gone any smoother and we are SO thankful for Jeff and Acree. I am very happy with my service today. I wasnt sure that Id be able to get anyone to help me same day as I submitted a request later in the day but the office contacted me shortly after and went over what to expect and let me know when my technician was anticipated. He got right to the point after I explained the issue and gave me my estimate of $297. He wasnt sure that he had the right part, but fortunately he did and the actual repair of the water shutoff valve took only a few minutes. Late in the evening I went in my garage and my water heater was spewing everywhere. We decided to call Acree and they said they would be out first thing in the morning. Dwayne and Aaron came to install a new one and also installed a saltless water softening unit. With the softening unit a new outlet had to be installed. They called out Connor from electrical and he came right away and installed it. While he was there we were discussing my electrical panel, he had noticed right away that there were burn marks and asked me when I had it worked on last. While we did have a 220 line installed a few years ago there was no mention about the burning on the electric panel. He was extremely patient and explaining things over and over if he had to, you can tell that he was very knowledgeable and Im glad that he showed me all of this otherwise who knows if I would have had a panel fire in the near future. I had Connor go ahead and replace our new entire panel and add in an outlet for a generator. These guys did a lot of work each and everyone of them were very professional and explained everything very well. I do have to give Connor the top notch award though, he was amazing and always making himself available. Thank you so much Connor.

Very happy Donald came out not only on Friday night, but the Friday after Thanksgiving and fixed my clogged sink in no time! He was very kind and respectful of my home.

My AC went out at 6:30pm on a Friday in August in Florida (of course) so I called Acree, because it was the first Google result. Appointment was a little behind (again, August,) but Pedro Guell came out and he was exceptional. Super polite, thorough, happy to do the job, gave us a lot of information and tips for what we can personally monitor. We signed up for the elective membership plan and will be using Acree exclusively in the future.

Ive had Acree come out for a few jobs now, and they always do solid work. The employees are great and work very hard to make sure things are done right. Donovan has done a couple of our electrical jobs and is always a pleasure to work with.

Austin was very professional, friendly, and efficient. Services were on time and the office was very communicative about who was coming and when they would arrive. We received same-day non-urgent appointment, and they came late evening when it was convient for us. Prices are considerably higher than some of the smaller businesses around here, but you pay for what you get. We feel the responsiveness and reliability is worth it.

Lee was one of the best Technicians I’ve ever worked with. He listened to the issue, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. I’ve had two other companies come by, and to call them “dishonest” would be kind. I will recommend Acree in general, but Lee specifically to anyone in need of HVAC services.
