    Josh did a great job for us. He was very knowledgeable and repaired a previous installers installation mistakes. Our tankless system is now working as it’s supposed to work! Also we weren’t charged an enormous diagnostic fee as required by other companies. Would highly recommend Josh at Spartan!

    Erick was super friendly, definitely as for him if youre going to use their service. He actually cared and educated me on the issue for why we had a leak on in the pipeline and why the system was backing up. Gave us good pricing options for us to go forward with. Would use their service again but were selling the home.

    Eric Brandenburg came out to our house in Puyallup we had some air in the lines and some other issues with our tankless water heater fixed it in one day very very professional talked in laymans term so I could understand it showed me everything and wanted me to be 100% happy with the service. Im very pleased with Spartan and know that they have good quality Techs and service people. You cant go wrong with Spartan they are good people!

    Update: 10/2024: Spoke with Kyle who sent Christian (who arrived within 30 minutes) to take care of a backed up disposal in our kitchen sink. I am unable to take care of these kinds of problems, even though I actually know what to do. Christian was so helpful, friendly, and quick. The issue took less than an hour to repair and he made sure to get me a discount on the bill. I trust the Spartan Team to professionally handle our homes plumbing needs. Thank you Spartan for Christian and Kyle.11/2023 Spoke with Kyle who sent Craig to our home within 30 minutes. Craig was friendly, fast, and efficient in unclogging our main bathrooms bathtub drain. Its great when your home works efficiently, thats why I call Spartan Plumbing for all my plumbing services. They dont overcharge, are very professional, and get repairs done quickly.     Eric from Spartan plumbing thanks for being a cool dude, thanks for handling business and getting things back up and rolling for us, we look forward to the job being completed fully.Eric was dispatched at 1130pm to my place last night, he helped stop the leak caused by the City of Tacoma. He was back at 8am helping others neighbors and myself. Eric was always pleasant to everyone. Eric was or is still onsite helping folks. They were here for 4 days working hard and left last night with the basement laundry room area looking better than it has since I moved in.     Had a home repair fail. Called several places in panic at 6 pm on a Saturday. The common names that always say they can be there in an emergency Roto Rooter, Larson, and a few lesser known emergencies available plumbers, all of them the earliest would be 36 hours. Then got hold of Spartan Plumbing, described the situation and they told me that they would have a tech call me. Within 5 minutes had an appointment for within the hour. Christian T. arrived promptly at the lower end of the appointment block, was extremely polite, knowledgeable and had the problem fixed within a half hour, at an incredibly reasonable rate. I highly recommend Spartan and intend for them to be my first call and go-to from now on. Thank you Christian and Thank you Spartan!

    Last week, the city of Tacoma, shut down the water in our community due to a new development nearby. The shut down was only supposed to be from 8-5, however, due to the shutdown, 8 houses in our community (which includes my house) lost water & hot water for 2 days due to pressure build up causing the water heater system to malfunction and leak. The city hired Spartan Plumbing Inc to work on this issue as several houses lost water completely. Erick Brandenburg was the plumber from Spartan who was onsite working long hours to restore our water & hot water. Erick put a temporary fix in our water heater system so we can at least get hot water while we await the arrival of the system parts needed to permanently fix the water heaters. Erick worked in our community for 14 hours on the second day (not to mention the hours he put in on the first day), helping the other houses but my house was the last to be fixed because, I was at work and didn’t get home til almost 8pm. I reached out to Erick who was already done for the day and no longer onsite and he graciously returned to restore my water and hot water. He didn’t want my house to be the only house without water and hot water. After the initial temporary fix, he left but not even an hour later, my house lost hot water again, I called Erick again and he returned immediately and fixed it. I can’t explain how stressful it is not having water, let alone hot water in a full house. The fact that Erick came back not once but twice is beyond me. My family and I are extremely grateful to Erick Brandenburg and Spartan Plumbing for going above & beyond to help me and my family gain access to water and hot water. Erick was pleasant, friendly and although he was exhausted from working long hours that day, he showed no sign of weakness. He was adamant about getting our water working properly and I can’t thank him enough.

    Mid morning the main water line to my house broke and I had to shut off all the water to the house. I called Spartan Plumbing and within a half hour Josh from Spartan showed up. He gave me two bids and I told him if he could repair the pipe, then try that. He went to work right away and repaired the pipe. Josh worked really hard so that I could have water in the house that night. If you need a good plumber call Spartan Plumbing and ask for Josh.

    Benjamin did a terrific job diagnosing my garbage disposal issues. After resetting and cleaning unit, he was honest and told me that the motor sounded OK and should work fine. But if I really wanted to replace the garbage disposal unit, that would be my choice. He gave me estimates and choices. I was also contemplating on having my kitchen sink faucet replaced. He also did the same thing and gave me estimates and choices. Would do business with Spartan Plumbing Services again.

    David and Chris were the best. Figured out quickly what the problem was, explained it to us. We gave them permission to cut drywall out in the garage.. It was soaked with water. Explained every step of the process gave us a quote that they stuck to it not based on hours, based on what they were going to do. Made sure we were happy and satisfied with the job before they accepted the check. I will never use another plumbing company. Spartan is definitely the way to go.

    We have used Spartan three times now and each time weve called, they have sent a plumber over that day. Prices are a bit high, but thats plumbing in general. They are pretty competitive in their pricing and the on site plumbers have always been courteous. I would prefer they use shoe covers when coming inside, but I suppose thats a culture thing. The only negative part on their most recent visit was with the drywall they cut to access the pipe. They were unable to replace it, which is fine, but the company the plumber recommend to fix the drywall had poor online reviews.

    Yesterday, I had a broken pipe in my crawl space. That kind of thing can be very stressful! I called Spartan, and they had someone out within 20 minutes.     We have had Spartan out to our home three times in the past year. Two of the times were for emergency repairs. Benjamin came out all three times. He was on time and efficient. He is a highly skilled plumber, he identified the problem and resolved it very quickly, saving us a lot of money by mitigating any further damage.We could not be happier with the level of responsiveness and service we get from Spartan and especially Benjamin.     I would call here first if i were you!We had a water main break in the yard. We thought it was under a concrete slab. Enrique walked us through everything that needed to happen. Him and David came out and took care of everything quickly. And I do need to give Paula, who answers the phone, a shout out too! Everyone we dealt with was wonderful, very friendly, and professional.     Out of water due to weather related damage. Spartan plumbing Inc was the first to responded within a 24 hour window. The plumber, Jeff Morton was friendly, prepared and informative. He had the repair done within an hour at a very favorable price considering the nature of the problem.I hope I don’t need emergency plumbing again anytime soon but Spartan will be the first call I make for any future plumbing work.

    Spartan Plumbing was so quick and responsive to my Plumbing emergency, I didnt expect to wake up to a shower that refused to turn off!     11/16/20: New plumbing issue prompted us to call Spartan for service again. This time it was related to the drain pipe in our laundry room floor. Condensation water from our furnace was pooling around the drain instead of going through the drain. Spartan used an electric snake to clear the clog and get things working again. The technician was cordial, professional, and clean. Very happy with their work and will call them again in the future.10/1/20 Our plumbing issues:1) Had a leak under the kitchen sink. Fix: An 1-1/2” cast iron 45 pipe in the wall was cut out and replaced with ABS pipe and connected.2) There was a leak around the toilet unrelated to the toilet itself. Fix: Water emergency shutoff valve was faulty and was replaced.3) Water was leaking into the cabinet under the laundry room sink despite washer replacement. Fix: The faucet was the issue so a new one was installed.We were happy with the service provided by Spartan. Phone receptionist was polite and personable in scheduling our appointment. The tech was professional, knowledgeable, and followed safety protocols (Covid mask, distancing, etc.) in doing his work. Very satisfied with his workmanship.In giving Spartan a rating, two minor things kept them from receiving a stellar 5 stars. The first is if they had thoroughly swept up the drywall & debris out of the kitchen & laundry room cabinets when they completed their work (maybe thats not protocol?) and the second is if the water supply hose in the laundry room was better sized so there isnt so much excess hanging down.Bottom line: I was happy with Spartans work, pricing, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

    We had a plumbing leak in the crawlspace of our house (found during a pest control inspection). Anthony came out and did a more thorough inspection and found an additional leak (cracked pipe at the flange in our shower drain). There had also been some water leakage that was evident.     Recently, we were referred to Spartan Plumbing Inc. in Tacoma. It was a complicated plumbing project and took enormous skill, teamwork and communication to complete. Working with the original plumbing of an estimated 60 year-old home was a job beyond my scope and understanding. The roots of several trees had completely devastated my pipes but I wasnt made aware until the water from the washer overflowed onto my laundry room floor. It was a huge job involving two separate lines extending through patio concrete, under existing fence and all the way to the street. Within what I consider to be an incredibly short amount of time, laundry and bathroom were back in operation, cement repaired, trenches filled and fence standing better than its original state. It was a remarkable feat. By the end, Spartan divided the project into three phases, complete with estimates and videos of their work so I could understand the process, reasoning and cost. By the end of Phase 1, Spartan had my complete confidence. I thank Spartans staff and entire crew: Enrique, Josh, Chris, Dillon, Benji and Christian for their expertise, expediency and accuracy on a job well done from start to finish.

    We had a drain problem at a rental home we own. We reached out to Spartan and the scheduler promptly made an appointment at a time convenient to us.     I would highly recommend Spartan. I received exceptional service from Jeff Morton & Anthony Clark. They came out today and did all my plumbing jobs in one visit. Two of my jobs were things that others have not wanted to touch. (Replacing my main shut-off on old galvanized pipes that had not worked in years & repairing my old Delta shower handle that dripped constantly)The main job they did was replacing my gas hot water heater that had failed.     I had a bathtub and washer machine drain back up with all the water it would use. Fill the bathtub and take hours to drain.My own attempts to flush the drain did not work, I even pulled the drain plug from the wall and tried to snake it myself to no avail.I called the company and explained my predicament, and they were able to send someone out same day.Chris was the one who responded. He called me about 30 minutes before.hw arrived, and called again at my request before he pulled up so i could get my dog outside. He was polite, courteous, professional, listened to what I was trying to explain and managed to properly snake the drain and clear it.He cleaned up whatever mess was made and stayed to make sure the tub drained and the washer drained properly. He even put the drain plug back into the wall for me!10/10 will use this company again.

    After returning from our honeymoon, my husband and I came home to a plumbing issue. We had called several emergency lines for immediate assistance, and was able to reach one (not Spartan). The gentleman was nice and helpful, but ended up having to recommend another serviceman for the job due to equipment.Spartan called us the next morning and was able to offer us a better deal and faster response time. Mark was prompt in his arrival, addressed the situation, asked the right questions, and ensured that the cost we discussed on the phone was still valid.Mark did a fantastic job helping us with our plumbing issue and was able to temporarily solve the issue until we were able to have our pipes examined by a contractor (we knew we needed sewage repair at some point).     We had a plumbing failure, leaks. Spartan Plumbing sent out a plumber to fix the current issue. Anthony was great - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and he found and fixed the emergent problems. Through the process other issues were discovered. So.... we had an inspection and as a result will be having our entire Modular Home re-piped. Anthony and Enrique were very thorough; they took pictures to document the facts and took the time to explain the issues. They provided options and put the ball in my court for decisions on what if anything I wanted done. It was very well done and left me feeling very comfortable with the decisions made.     Spartan got out to my house to replace my hot water heater within a few hours of my call on the Tuesday after a three-day holiday weekend. Anthony was respectful and the install is first class. Bonus that he got on with my 5yo as well. Nice guy. Showed up when he said he would, did what he said hed do when he said hed do it for as much as he said it would cost. Cant ask for any more than that.Experiences with tradesman are so rarely positive these days. This was a welcome exception.

    On 1/10/2022 I called Spartan Plumbing for a clogged sewer main line, and they sent someone that day, even earlier than expected! Mark was very kind and knowledgeable about every question I had about plumbing, who was totally honest about the severity of the problem, with absolutely no scams or upsells! I called again two days later and they sent Mark to come by the next day on 1/13/2022, exactly on time to unclog the drain and was again very pleasant to talk to during the entire visit! What really convinced me to leave a 5-star review was his honesty about me needing to replace my exterior sewer line and even mentioned looking around for a cheaper estimate for that, after finding and opening the outside drain cleanout for drainage in the meantime.All pricing was upfront so theres no worry about hidden fees, they charge by the job, not the hour, and the only changes to the invoice were discounts. If youre in their service area just call Spartan for your plumbing needs unless you can somehow get a free estimate with someone else. I even waited a week to post this review in case a new clog appeared but that wasnt necessary. Mark Elmore is a fantastic plumber, and his decades of experience and work ethic really showed.     Your services were required for installation of shut offs on all sinks and toilets in our condominium. Your Service Individual, Enrique was very prompt arriving at our home on both occasions, providing an estimate of the work and the following week arriving to perform the service. Very courteous and professional. Performed the necessary work in a timely manner and ensured the the work area was clean when he was finished. He found a leak on one of the feeds for our washing machine that was dripping down onto the frame work of the wall. Took pictures of the area and told us he would contact a restoration company to come take a look.Handled everything quite well. He explained everything to my wife and I in very understandable way.     I had my washer connections start licking, so because I had used Spartan years ago they were my first contact. After contacting the office and setting up an appointment to have someone come out for an estimate Enrique gave me a fair estimate and date to get it replaced. Enrique showed up as scheduled and replaced the fixtures. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He was respectful of the area he was working in to make sure it was all cleaned up before departing. He explained all the actions he took and what I needed to if I had any problems later.     We have a less than two years old hybrid water heater with what it’s seems to be having electrical issues, after making a few calls to a few plumbing companies and describing the issue, one of them told me to call Spartan because there were better suited to deal with these newer units. Enrique the service tech came in and after a quick look and speaking with the manufacturer turned out to be a bad motherboard, after arranging a new one to be fed-ex to me he explained how to quick install it. He did not charge for this service but agree to comeback if I was still having issues, thanks you Enrique for your honesty and excellent customer service.

    Craig was wonderful and respectful and came in and gave us a fair estimate and recommendation on the issues we were having. He ended up unclogging our bathtub and it is now draining as it should.
