They did a full review of the existing plumbing, made a prioritized list of recommendations, and completed a number of projects including replacing the water heater, updating the piping for our garbage disposal and a variety of other updates in the utility room. Five stars+My elderly parents needed a plumber for their low water pressure. Their problem couldn’t have come at a worse time with my mom being in a wheelchair and my dad having just had surgery.Their plate was full. They didn’t know who to trust to fix their problem so they called three different plumbers in the local area to get an estimate. The first plumber charged them $50 for the estimate, arrived late then never called us back. The second one didn’t charge for the estimate but gave a much higher quote almost twice the amount quoted from the first plumber. Pipe Dreams was the final company we called.From start to finish, Pipe Dreams was extremely professional. Our experience began with Tammy in the office asking several questions regarding our problem. Even though they were fully booked out for the next 2 weeks, she didn’t want to make my parents wait that long. She managed to squeeze us into Kevin’s busy schedule just a couple days later to come out to give us an estimate at the end of his day. As promised, he and his assistant showed up to my parents home right on time. Although it was the end of his work day, Kevin was very patient with all our questions, was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain how he would be fixing the problem. In fact, after he gave us the estimate, he was able to quickly fix everything right then and there at a fair price!We are so happy we found this veteran-owed company and will be using them for our future plumbing needs. We can’t say enough good things about Pipe Dreams. They went above and beyond our expectations. We would happily recommendthem.

The technician reassured me that I do not have a leaky pipe, that the drip-like noise I was hearing is simply the expanding and contracting of the pipe. The company has done work for me before with fine results. He explained in detail how he determined that it is not a leakage problem. I understood completely what he described and believe him. He said he can treat the noise but that would cost a lot of money and the noise is not a structural problem. I can live with the noise knowing that there is no water damage accumulating in the house.

I had my first experience with Kevin at Pipe Dreams in response to a leak in our shower/tub and the subsequent leak from the dining room ceiling/walls below it. Kevin came to see us promptly to determine the cause. In the course of his investigation he put us in contact with a water damage mitigation company the he trusted as I had no experience with this type of construction/destruction. Kevin found the leak and took care of it very efficiently. He even had some VERY helpful military programs to help us out with the bill, which is huge as insurance doesnt pay the plumbers bill. He and his apprentice were very careful about keeping the place clean and even helped with an unrelated problem with advice and checking my work to make sure I had fixed it properly. I heartily recommend him/them for your plumbing needs, theyll take care of the problem and not break the bank in the process!!!

UPDATE: I forgot to post the previous review three years ago. Since then, Kevin, Tammy, and Jeremy replaced our water heater. A year later the toilet broke and they did the repairs in the bathroom and have ensured we have a secure water supply line into our 60-year-old house.I can honestly say Kevin and his team provide quality, value, andtaking care of their customers.They deserve a 10-star rating in this five-star system.Kevin and his crew turned a potential plumbing nightmare into a pipe-dream!Right at the beginning of the Covid-19 stay-at-home, our toilet started backing up into the bathtub. We called our insurance company and they deployed #PipeDreams. Kevin and his assistant, Tami, came out at 10:30 on a Saturday night to clear the problem. Kevin explained the whole process, pointing out that this was a temporary clear. He outlined every next step clearly and accurately.Three days later, the back-up happened again after 6 p.m. Kevin and crew came out with a camera to diagnose the blockage. The next morning (!) at 9 a.m. the City of Tacoma knocked on the door to check and see whether or not the blockage was in their part of the system. Kevin and Pipedreams obtained permission to start digging the next day.Five feet down and twenty feet of pipe they found the damaged pipes and reconnected our home to the sewer line. Throughout the entire process, Kevin, Tammy and team kept up informed. They are a DREAM COME TRUE to what is a difficult position to be in - especially during Covid-19!Thank you PipeDreams.
