Shawn Hook and his team are incredible! We recently had a complete basement renovation which included a bar area, movie room, two offices, a full bath, a gym, dance studio and storage. The thought and detail that went into this project were top notch. Shawn and his team were professional, kind, courteous and paid attention to every detail. They answered every question we had (we had many) and helped us make important design decisions for a truly functional space. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and included us in every decision that had to be made. There were no surprises. The project was on time and on budget. We were so impressed with the workmanship; we also had the team remodel our master bathroom, laundry room and do a patio project. If you are looking for a local company, a dependable team, and good people, look no further than Hook! You will be so glad you did.

Andrew from Hook Home Maintenance, did a terrific job on installing my new sink/vanity and medicine cabinet. If you’re looking for honest, hard-working, and fair priced construction people this is the place to go. This is a father, son, uncle, multiple family operation. They have the highest rating with the plastic decking trex company for installing. They gave us a very fair price to do our deck. They can do just about any job. They recently moved to 4274 Hudson Dr., Stow, OH. I like that they’re local with an actual real office location.

Our 1st floor has an open floorplan and came with a very basic kitchen and very little storage space when we moved in 8 years ago. We had a water shutoff valve burst under the sink one night while we were sleeping, so water was pouring over most of the kitchen and living room for hours before we woke up. After drying out and having insurance assess the damage, we felt the time was right to not just repair the water damage, but upgrade the whole 1st floor like we had been wanting to since we had moved in.We asked a realtor that lived in our development for recommendations. She gave us names of 3 contractors, Hook Home Maintenance being one of those. After due diligence, meeting with all 3 and seeing designs and estimates, we chose Hook and we could not be more pleased with the outcome.Our kitchen, living room, dining area, and half-bathroom are all magnificent now, state of the art, we could not be happier – see the pictures! They were fantastic to work with from the very beginning, bringing in Freedom Design to help with planning the new layout. This was a big job, so we knew it would be a long process once we got colors, styles, cabinets, countertops, etc. all picked out. These guys covered it all – the plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and finish work involved, including a whole new floor for the project.Anyone looking to remodel their kitchen, or other room in their home, should contact Hook!

I am thrilled how nice my new laminate hardwood floor turned out!! Andrew and Devin worked very hard to make sure everything was just as I wanted it!! They are both very compassionate about making sure the job is done correctly and in the time frame which was quoted! Their main concern is that the customer is happy and satisfied with their work and they will even take extra time to make sure even the smallest concerns are addressed and taken care of before leaving for the day and/or before completion of the job!!Thanks also to Lindsay who reworked the schedule to accommodate my needs!😊This is the third job Hook Home Maintenance has done for me and I will continue to call on them for any future home improvements I might need!You can’t go wrong with this company and highly recommend them if you’re looking for someone to help you with home improvements and maintenance needs, this is the company you need to call.Thank you again to Devin, Andrew and Lindsay for helping me get this project completed because I had been contemplating on it for a long time and so happy it’s finally done and at a very reasonable price!!👍🏻👍🏻SincerelyCathy J.

They replaced our kitchen backlash. The job was done by Tommy and Kevin. They were very professional and knew exactly what and how the make my kitchen just beautiful. I am waiting for an estimate for redoing my bathroom vanity. I was please because I use them often every since we move here. I have never been dissatisfied. Thank you Hook Home Maintence
