    Anthony Slabaugh did it again! After having them renovate our laundry room / mudroom one year ago, I wasnt sure how the next project could turn out EVEN BETTER! This time, they helped us completely renovate our master bedroom, bathroom and installed wood floors in our upstairs hallway and master.The entire project from start to finish is so simple. Nick and Ryan do a great job providing a pretty accurate estimate for the proposed project and help to design the space. Nick excels at designing the space exactly as you imagine, even if you cant always picture it yourself. All design logistics are planned far in advance so by the time the project starts, it is seamless.During the construction phase of the project, the schedule provided by the team helps inform you of what to expect each day. At the start, you can see the schedule for each day for the duration of the project. All of their tradesmen and women are professional, timely and neat. Additionally, Anthony Slabaugh is thorough, efficient and responsive. If a problem or concern arises, they are swift to address it and get it taken care of appropriately.As in my first review, I firmly stand behind this design company. Their work is impeccable and the charisma, kindness and honesty of their staff is truly what sets them apart from other remodeling companies. Special shout out to our project manager, Catherine - she is always the first to lend a helping hand, even when the project is complete.Looking forward to working with Anthony Slabaugh again in the near future.     Anthony Slabaugh Remodel and Design completed an exterior renovation for us and we couldn’t be happier. This was our first “big” renovation project as a family and the support that Anthony Slabaugh gave along the way was incredible. We always felt welcome, known, and cared about throughout the whole process. We are so pleased with the work and look forward to using them again in the future!

    WOW! We started working with Anthony Slabaugh in July 2023 on a kitchen remodel that slowly encompassed the entire home. We worked with Nick and Ryan on the design of the newly formed rooms, and by November we had a contract, and a five month timeline. We voluntarily moved out during the main phases of work, which was probably a good decision but was not required.They started in December and substantially completed the project this week. We moved out during the bulk of the job as our kitchen remodel turned into a full house remodel. (see photos)- The kitchen, the original target of the project, is magnificent! The excellent material and design choices are clearly reflected in the appearance. Our previous kitchen wasnt terrible in the least, but it is nowhere near the quality of our new kitchen!- New engineered beams were installed to remove a wall in the center of the house.- Two reconstructed bathrooms, including the conversion of the tiny little powder bath on the first floor into a wonderful first floor full bath with an doorway to our back yard/pool.- The existing hardwood in the living rooms was extended into the kitchen and halls with absolute precision. It was re-stained with a common stain and the entire first floor matches.- A new mudroom was formed, the door from the garage was moved from the center to the corner of the wall to accommodate the kitchen layout.- All new LED lighting was installed throughout the first floor.- New HVAC runs were made to reroute air around the removed walls, and to establish better airflow throughout the home.- A new tankless hot water heat system was installed, with recirculating lines to every water usage point. No more waiting for hot water in the winter!Tim, our project manager, worked tirelessly to coordinate the numerous trades and ensure that this five month project was completed ON TIME.Thank you for our new home at the same address. It has truly been a pleasure working with Anthony Slabaugh, and even as the final items get wrapped up over the coming weeks, we are confident that they will be handled with the same attentiveness as this project has so far.Should we need remodeling of this or any other home in the future, our first call will be to Ryan.

    We heard about Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design from a friend who had a fantastic experience with them, so we stopped in to get some information and see what our options were. We were very impressed with the professionalism, industry knowledge and pure friendliness of everybody who we came in contact with and we quickly decided that we didnt need to go anywhere else. Ryan and Nick were very helpful during the planning stages and there was no pressure whatsoever at any time. Once the project began, there were no surprises since everything had been carefully planned out. We were even given access to an online schedule which detailed which days each of the contractors would be working at our house. The entire project was completed on time and ASR&D followed-up to make sure that everything was perfect and we were 100% satisfied. We absolutely love the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design to anybody looking for a stress-free experience with a beautiful end result.

    If you want remodeling done the only place to consider is Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling and Design. From the minute we stepped into the show room it was a stress free experience where your dreams come true! They feel like family and never push you into anything you don’t want and respect your budget. Their expertise shines with every appointment. They take time to understand who you are, what your goal is and what your budget is. They have ideas you may never have thought of and don’t stop until you are 100% satisfied. I am not good with colors and hues, and the interior designer on our project helped us get it just right. We even had Rita come and help with rugs and blinds after the job was done. The trade teams are right on time, finish when they say they will and are very reputable. ASR&D stays with you after the project and guarantee the work. It was the best experience I’ve ever had and we are in love with our home now all thanks to our new friends. Our next project will definitely be done by them, I will never look elsewhere!

    We had our kitchen remodeled. Ryan was perfect from the very beginning, streamlined the whole process. Nick was phenomenal, he was amazingly helpful in getting our design together and giving us really great advice. He went above and beyond! Afterwards, when we had an issue with a light fixture, Nick made sure everything was replaced. Catherine was our project manager, she was so attentive, and always a text away if there was ever an issue. When all was said and done, I can’t go on enough about how much attention to detail was given during our renovation. They fixed things that weren’t even necessarily part of the project. Amazingly our project was done a week sooner! I’m pretty sure this doesn’t happen with other companies, ever! ASRD is definitely more expensive than other companies, but the streamlined approach and professionalism is priceless! You absolutely will not regret spending the extra money, and what they deliver!

    Adam and I enjoyed every step of the process and everyone we worked with throughout. Ryan was great from the start and on top of communication on project due dates and deadlines. Nick went above and beyond in research for us and was wonderful along with Lindsey, designing and making a vision come to life.     Our 1988 bathroom needed an update but finding a qualified contractor was difficult. We needed someone with design services, knowledge of the latest design trends and the willingness to explore project options that were outside the box. We found this with Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling. Their design services were wonderful, including having an interior designer help with selecting colors. Project costs were always front of mind for them, so we didnt get too far afield with our choices. Their showroom was right on site, so we didnt have to visit numerous vendors to select our cabinets and fixtures. Other items like our tub and lighting fixtures were custom selected and incorporated into the design. A detailed work schedule showed us who would be here when and all of the contractors were on time and professional. Their project manager was always on top of any issues. We wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

    As an electrical contractor who works with many custom remodeling contractors for the last 25 years I find Anthony Slabaugh remodeling and design to be excellent in every way you would want as a trade partner or customer. Communication and expectations are always on point. Our ASRD customers have all the information, schedules, and explanations of what to expect. Having Tim and Catherine as construction managers gives them a point of contact that can respond immediately to answer any questions that cone up. As a trade partner the best jobs are the ones where the homeowners are not left in the dark or having to wait for answers this puts them at ease and establishes trust in the process.     Wow! Our experience with Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design was nothing short of amazing, as our before & after photos will show. We contacted them for a quote on a full kitchen remodel in our Stow home. From the very beginning, we could tell the difference with this company.They really took the time to get to know us as people and learn about what we were looking for with this project. We felt heard and knew that our input mattered, which is so important when you are getting ready to do a project on this scale.Throughout the design phase, that feeling continued as we were encouraged to get involved and share ideas.     We were in desperate need of an overhaul of our 30 year old kitchen but were overwhelmed at the prospect of such a large job. That’s where Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling and Design really stood out to us. The whole process was so smooth from start to finish! From the initial meeting with Ryan, the design process with Nick, picking finishes with Lindsey, and Tim managing the process along the way, it was a wonderful experience! All of the tradesmen were phenomenal, too, and so clean! I look around my kitchen and can’t believe it’s ours, it is so beautiful, much more functional and the quality is outstanding. On top of that, our kitchen ended up being featured in an article on Martha Stewart’s website, can’t ask for a much bigger endorsement than that!

    We chose Anthony Slabaugh to remodel our kitchen because they were the most professional service we were able to find. They were NOT the least expensive, but then again, we werent looking for least expensive, we were looking for a company that plans well, communicates well, and backed up their products and services.I would love to say that everything went smoothly, however, there were a few hiccups. These were not due to anything the Slabaugh folks had done, that team is awesome! I can honestly say that working with them was a great choice. I wont go into the details of the hiccups, but I will say they were handled... handled quickly, professionally, and with the sense of urgency that one should expect of a company doing a major remodel of your home.My project was warranted for 5 years, and its been 4 years now since the job was completed. They still check up on us regularly to make sure we are still happy and we really are! We LOVE what they built for us!!! The tiniest of concerns are always addressed immediately and with professionalism.If you are looking for a professional company to do an amazing job AND give you peace of mind, Anthony Slabaugh is the best.

    The high level of planning that goes into a ASRD project is beyond compare. Ryan was so accommodating when going over all the different options for our kitchen remodel project; he was personable and professional always.     Loved our experience. Everything was detailed, organized, and clear. Going in there were a handful of different things we were considering from just upgrading the look to swapping where the shower and sinks in our bathroom were to give us more space. They gave us price estimates for both and presented where we could save on some costs if we wanted to. We ultimately went with swapping the shower and sink locations and the price presented initially was very close to the final price.My favorite part was how organized everything was though. Once they get you all scheduled, you can see every day what trades will be in, what theyre doing, and then we got regular daily updates with photos and explanations of what went out. If we ever need a service like this in the future we will for sure be starting here.

    Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling has been an amazing company to work with. The planning period was worth the three months. All through the working process they never had a question about what they were supposed to be doing that day. They let themselves in and out and locked up every night. Before they left each day they completely cleaned up their mess. The fact that they offer a warranty on their work really puts them above the rest. This is definitely not a cheap design firm but they are worth every penny. We even went out of town for a couple weeks and we were never interrupted. When we got back in town we were so happy with the new updates. I absolutely highly recommend Anthony Slabaugh for a kitchen remodel.

    I could not be happier with the process and outcome of my complete bathroom renovation! Anthony Slabaugh and team are top notch professionals whose process and communication really do make their renovations stress-free! Theres a reason behind their lengthy design and planning process - it makes the actual construction go SO smoothly! There was someone in my home every day, Monday through Friday, and the entire project stayed on schedule. How often does THAT happen with construction? The quality of work is absolutely excellent, too. Anthonys tradespeople are the best of the best in the industry. The tilework in the shower is pure perfection, and the new flat ceiling is stunning! I highly recommend Anthony and team!

    A++ for communication, planning, detail-oriented!I cannot recommend Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design highly enough! We just finished a major basement remodel with them and they couldn’t have made things any easier than they did for us! Ryan was very upfront about the planning process and went through all of our material and design options with a Good/Better/Best layout that really helped us to decide where we wanted to go with the project. Nick’s designs made it easy for us to visualize what we wanted without guesswork, and they provided the services of an interior decorator to help us with color and design choices. Tim was our project manager and was always available for any little question we had and always kept things running smoothly; most of the time we didn’t even need to say anything if we saw a scuff or a dent that worried us because Tim would be out the next day with his pencil to mark flaws for the trades to fix- he spots everything! Communication was so important to us and the whole ASRD crew did an amazing job with keeping us informed about who/what/where/when/why. We’ve gone through nightmare remodels before, and we will NEVER hire anyone other than ASRD from this point forward!Edit: We hired ASRD again only a few months after our basement to remodel our Laundry room and three seasons room. Once again, we could not be happier! The laundry room went from being a grim little closet to a beautiful and functional laundry space. They were able to take our screened patio and turn it into a beautiful three seasons room that we use as a “catio” for our indoor cats. The cats can safely enjoy the outdoors and we have a wonderful space to enjoy bug free summers!

The quality of the outcomes was derived from the quality of the individuals involved from the owner, to the home office team, to each of the trades teams, to our attentive Project Manager; everyone involved contributed to a successful outcome, they are appreciated by us.     We used Anthony Slabaugh to construct a speakeasy-type bar in our basement in Stow. The whole process was seamless. Ryan was great during the sales process and with follow up later. Nick was great to work with during the design phase. And Tim and Kyle were helpful and responsive during construction. The subcontractors also were courteous and very good at cleaning up each day.The entire process was a pleasure, and while it was not inexpensive, we look forward to enjoying the bar for a long, long time.     We just finished our second remodeling project with Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling and Design (ASRD). Our remodeled kitchen is more wonderful than we imagined it would be. The ASRD process is efficient, easy, and fun (Yes, fun!). Early in the conceptualization phase, Ryan sat in our living room hearing about our vision, and we were amazed that he could us tell more about the construction of our home than we knew ourselves. Nick’s design help had us thinking about things we had never considered, and all of those things made our kitchen more functional. During the remodeling, our project manager, Catherine, kept things moving on time, and she noticed small things that we would have never seen. Also, the trades used by ASRD were experts in their fields. Before picking a remodeling company, our primary focus was quality work, and ASRD delivered on that and in every other way too. We highly recommend their work.

    I hired Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design (ASRD) to remodel my master bathroom, update my guest baths, install new hardwood flooring in my family room/sunroom, install new carpeting on my stairs, and update my laundry room. I knew immediately that this project was in very capable hands. Anthony took the time to go over every paragraph of the contract. The design process was also very thorough and very detailed, which I personally loved because there were no surprises. The entire team (Anthony, Nick, Lee & Rita) and all others associated with ASRD were very professional, friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to help me with minor things, and it was very much appreciated. Nick and Rita paid attention to all of the details and coordinated every aspect of the design to perfection. Lee, the project manager, was either in touch with me by phone or at my house checking on the progress being made. The subcontractors were also professional and their work was exceptional. Every day they cleaned up their work area so no inconvenience to me. The entire project was scheduled on a calendar which let me know who was going to be at my house working each day.     What more can I say .... ASRD is the BEST. I utilized this company for a complete kitchen remodel and just finished up a remodel with a Master Bath and a downstairs 1/2 bath. Everything from start to finish without problems. The end product just beautiful! This organization is detailed oriented and very organized. You know everything upfront before contract signing. There are many one on one meetings with Anthony, Nick, and the interior designer, Rita, before the project is started. They hire excellent sub contractors who do great work.. All of them clean up after their work and protect your home and surroundings. Andrew, is so good at preparing your home for demolition. He makes sure everything is protected. Lee, the project manager is always on top of things and communicates with you more than often. My projects were completed on time. You get what you pay for, This company is not budget contracting , however Anthony and his team work hard at keeping you within your desired budget. Next year I am planning on remodeling my bathroom upstairs and I will once again use ASRD. Simply the BEST.

    Second great experience with Slabaugh Remodeling in Kent, Ohio.This is our second review for Slabaugh. We completed our master bathroom remodel in fall of 2019. Early in 2020 we began a conversation around remodeling the laundry/mudroom and the guest half bath. Based on our prior experience, without hesitation we chose to initiate this new project with Anthony, Ryan, Nick, Lee, Tim and the rest of the team at Slabaugh. And then the pandemic arrived.Our first pleasant experience was the fact that they were very flexible in delaying the project to ensure our and their staff’s safety and health. As a result, we delayed the project for over 3 months and began in late May and decided to complete both projects simultaneously (resulted in cost savings). The laundry room was completely remodeled and the guest bathroom sink, countertop and all the fixtures were updated along with a new accent wall.As with our previous experience, all phases were completed on time, on budget and to our satisfaction. Their staff were very conscious of the pandemic and practiced distancing, disinfection, masking, etc. to ensure everyone’s safety.Whenever there are two projects in progress at the same time, there is potential for delays, missing materials, etc. We experienced a couple of minor issues with materials which were immediately addressed and did not cause any issues. Perhaps the biggest pleasant surprise was a decision we had made on a light fixture, it looked good in pictures, however when it was installed it was a total mismatch to the rest of the half bath. To Slabaugh’ s credit, they worked with us to ensure that it was replaced with one that was the perfect match to the rest of the guest bathroom.As with our last experience, their installers and staff were pleasant, professional and respectful of all the spaces in our home. While they were here, they also took a look at the last project and fixed some items that we had not noticed previously. When they say a “5-year warranty” they truly mean it. As we said previously, we got what we paid for, every penny spent was worth it. They have the utmost integrity and their attention to detail is great. A key to another successful project was their partnership, knowledge and ideas for all the ideas we presented to them during the design phase.We highly recommend Slabaugh without any hesitation or concern. We do not have other projects on the horizon. However, if there is another in the future, rest assured Slabaugh remodeling is our number one choice and they should be yours also.

    This is the second time I have worked with Anthony Slabaugh and it was just as wonderful as the first time. This time they updated my kitchen with new quartz countertops, a sink and new lighting fixtures. In addition, all of the hardwood floors were refinished, a new floor was installed in the family room, carpeting was replaced up the steps and on the second floor, the steps in the garage were made more user friendly, handrails/wainscoting were installed, and my front hall chandelier was put onto a lift system so that it can be lowered for cleaning and changing bulbs. This job required a variety of trades people who, in my opinion, are the best there is out there. Everything was done beautifully and I love the new floor in my family room which required some searching on their part to bring my vision to life. And the hardwood floors look absolutely marvelous - the dust and smell were well worth the result.

We procrastinated for years on remodeling our kitchen, overwhelmed by the seemingly daunting process and concerned about the stress of in-home construction & renovation. Our experience with the team at Slaubaugh proved to be the opposite of this. Daunting became do-able. Stressful became exciting. The design process was quick, efficient, creative, flexible and ENJOYABLE. We were amazed how they walked us through the long list of decisions in a systemic, stress-free fashion. We’d head into a design meeting thinking “we’re never going to get through this list of selections” just to come out of the meeting surprised at the progress.     We began our search for a full scale remodeling and design firm last August. Before they ever came to the house, we met to simply review past projects and outline our desires while understanding their process. After several extensive meetings, it became evident that their partnership would be best for our project.Our project entailed taking the kitchen down to the studs, completely altering layout, hardwood floor refinishing throughout, stairway and railing work along with extensive molding/painting/carpentry. Upon completing the design and layout, the team was very helpful in choosing all the details: fixtures/back splash tile/paint colors/hardware schemes. They worked closely with us on coordinating appliances and working them into our layout.We received a complete project book as well as a dynamic schedule located on the Builder Trend app. This outlined every trade, which days they would be onsite, as well as milestone timing for various facets of the project (demo/drywall/cabintery/countertops). When they started, it was outlined as a three month project. They finished almost EXACTLY on time (and within 4% of projected total cost) certainly unique to the industry!Overall, we found tremendous value in the consistent communication, timeline, and high quality of both the Slabaugh team as well as their trades.     A little late posting, but we had Anthony Slabaugh completely remodel our kitchen and flooring throughout our first floor. From start to finish was very professional and paid great attention to detail. The staff in the office that helps design and pick your choices were great to work with and helped out greatly. I would choose them again any day as its been 2 years since our remodel and they still check in to make sure were happy. Says alot when they stand by their work and like to make sure youre happy wven after completion.

Their goal of working with integrity is not just lip service; they truly work with integrity.Ryan was rock solid and gave great guidance about the entire process. Joan wouldnt work for an organization that didnt have integrity (so that raised our trust level coming in). Nick was incredibly creative and wonderful in the design process. Lindsey had fantastic creative input. And Cat (project manager) was a dynamo who made absolutely sure that EVERYTHING was completed to our satisfaction! She even texted me three months after the project was closed out and ASRD had been paid. She hadnt heard back from me and wanted to make sure that a couple of little details had been resolved to our satisfaction!Dan and I are so happy that we chose ASRD!!!Our kitchen, half bath, and laundry rooms are beautiful and constructed with top notch quality.     Tore up all the carpet on the first and second floors, then replaced with hardwood. They matched my existing hardwood extremely well. Also did a few minor remodeling projects and handled each one well. I appreciated laying out each step of the project... including my anticipated emotional response during the process.     Even in the time of COVID, working with Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling and Design was exceptional. This was our first experience with a big remodeling project and to say our entire bathroom remodel went smoothly is an understatement. The entire project was planned before actual work began. The design process was incredibly detailed and we had lots of help selecting our materials. The process can be overwhelming but everyone we worked with was so very patient with us.     We had a wonderful experience working with ASRD! They remodeled our three-season room and both the craftsmanship and client service we received was impeccable.     ASRD is excellent in design, planning, and execution. The entire process from planning the project to finishing touches was so well planned that they made remodeling as painless and smooth a process as possible. Our entire project went exactly as they said it would, on time and as we had envisioned it. A power outage didnt even stop them; the contractors just plowed through with generators. The multiple planning meetings that ASRD schedules were helpful both in refining the design and in virtually eliminating change orders/delays, because the considerable time invested in the design meetings makes sure that everyone involved in the project is on the same page. The positioning of our basement staircase presented some challenges, which the team at ASRD not only addressed, but turned into an eye-catching design feature. During construction, we had family staying with us on more than one occasion and everyone commented on how courteous and professional all the contractors were that they came into contact with. Our basement has turned into a fun gathering space and a mini-getaway for the kids that we look forward to enjoying for many years.
