I called this company at 8am, and scheduled an appointment with the plumber the same day for 9am. The man came on time, fixed the problem fast, and now my shower faucet works even better. Honest, high quality work at a reasonable price! We just moved back to Arlington into our old rambler which had been rented out for several years. WA Gas came to turn on the gas and found a small leak. The first plumber I called used scare tactics trying to get our business. He told my wife he discovered many code violations and noted old pipes were too small and under capacity leading my wife to believe our house was ready to explode. He then pulled out a laminated sheet with the $10,000, $8000, and $6000 new fuel delivery plan options. However, he couldnt really explain the difference between plans. Next morning I went to Shreves supply center and asked about real costs to do the repair or install a new set of pipes for our four gas appliances. Shreves sent out a straight forward plumber who was simply going to repair the pipe joint which was identified to have a small leak. He offered to update the line and bring whole system up to code for a fraction of the cost presented by the other company. He was fast and efficient. He took care of permit and Arlington County inspections... We were so happy with his work and feel very confident that our house will be safe for many years to come. Called around looking for an old OEM part for a Standard toilet to avoid ordering it from Amazon. Not only did they have the overflow tube but they had the flush valve by itself saving me money. Then when it was not the right one and I brought it back, I explained what was wrong with it and they had another flush valve that was the correct one. If I had ordered the part from Amazon, it would have been more than I needed, the incorrect part, and I wouldnt have been able to return it. If youre looking for an old part that you cant find anywhere give them a call because chances are they will have it!

I have always used and continue to use Shreve/McGonegal for all my plumbing needs and I have never considered using anyone else. Why would I use anyone else when they’re the BEST!! I usually request Hai because I love his work...takes care of the problem and never leaves a mess as he’s very neat. Bottom line is he takes pride in what he does and it’s obvious he loves his work!
