James really is too good for his industry. Ive never met a more capable, efficient, timely, safety-oriented handyman/contractor. The guy is like a walking textbook. Hes in, head down, and out with proficient clean space left behind. Highly Recommend. Great with kids, too!

Smyrna handyman helped me drain and flush my water heater, and replace my thermostat on the upper heating element. We had noticed we didn’t have as much hot water as we’re used to, and our technician James diagnosed the issue. He didn’t to to sell us a new water heater even though our unit was older, just told me I needed a $25 park easy Peazzy! He was such a blessing, showed up on time knocked it out quick, and taught me how to better maintain my water heater myself to make it last longer and operate at its maximum efficiency! James is extremely knowledgeable and professional I’d recommend him to anyone. God Bless

I had a hole in a piece of siding on my home and contacted James to see if this was something he could help with. He replied quickly and we set up a time for him to come out. He was on-time and sent a text before arrival so I had a heads up he was on the way (always appreciate this from a business).He checked things out, let me know he could definitely fix it, and got to work. He went above and beyond - even trimming out a section of a bush that was right in his way (so sorry about that, James!) without complaining and fixed an additional problem he found when he removed the damaged siding.The repair looks great, and Im 100% satisfied with price, the work done, and communication before and during the appointment.I highly recommend Smyrna Handyman Service and will definitely be doing further business with in the future. James IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! James came in and had to fix a mess that someone else had started and I had to fire. He had to rip out the subfloor and level it out, as the contracter prior to him had it an absolute unlevel mess. He fixed plumbing, he repaired my air conditioning which was unhooked under the house unbeknownst to me. He repaired my low flowing hot water which was full of rust. He turned my old, UGLY 1950s bathroom into a bathroom fit for a queen, it is just SO BEAUTIFUL now. He is more than a handyman. He is a craftsman. He is detailed and methodical in his work. He is ethical in keeping track of his hours. He doesnt stay on the phone while he works which was a problem with the guy before him. He was an absolute pleasure to have in my home. I will call upon him again in the future if he isnt so full of work that he cant fit me in (I worry about that!). He was absolutely a blessing to find when I was overwhelmed and didnt know who was going to fix the mess of my bathroom and the mess someone else created, and I cant sing his praises enough for the job he did. Thank you so much James!!!
