    My husband accidentally cut a wire for our air conditioner today. When he asked me what to do, I immediately said, Call Fletchers Plumbing and Heating. Tyler from Fletchers was at our house within 10 minutes of my husband making the call and in less than 45 minutes of the initial cut, had everything back up and running! As Im 8 months pregnant, this was absolutely amazing! Weve used Fletchers multiple times now and the service is always fast, reliable, professional, friendly, and overall exceptional.     Installed a new system for us in June after interviewing 2 other companies. Their approach is straight forward, no pressure, no sales pitch from someone who has to call his office/cant answer my questions. They were able to provide several options and pricing at the initial visit, not by emailing me later. Pricing was better than the others we interviewed. Installation techs were great and efficient. (I dont usually give recommendations).

    So..I was doing yardwork..and I cut a brown branch. However to my dismay, it was not a brach but a wire. I looked over and the fan that had just been running turned off as now there was no power. I went inside and looked down and told my wife that I made a mistake. “What did you do?” She said. “I cut a wire and now the outside fan is off” I replied. I then said, “What fo we do now?” Without a hesitation she replied, “Call Fletchers Plumbing and Heating.” So I made the call. The woman on the line was very professional and said they were sending someone right now! Within 10 minutes there was Tyler from Fletchers Plumbing and Heating and within 45 minutes he had everything working again. A true lifesaver as I have a 1.5 year old son and a wife whom is 8 months pregnant (she would kill me if we didnt have air condition that far alone). In addition, he showed us our air filter that we havent changed in 4 years snd explained to us the need to change them every 6 months ideally but at most a year. Plus, they have also helped us when our water heater went out and were expeditious and the best price around. I highly recommend Fletcher Plumbing and Heating as well as Tyler. Thank you!!!

    Over the weekend our AC quit on us. Our unit is over 20 years old and we expected the worse. However we promptly got a call and scheduled the earliest visit. The tech Jason called and asked to even come earlier then schedule! Not only were they here early, but they were professional! They had our unit up and running before our appointment time! The professionalism from not only the techs but the owner and office staff is top notch! If a review could go higher than five stars … they would get It ! Prompt, professional, quick, reliable, dependable, efficient, and most importantly quality work!

    I cant say enough good things about this company. We have used them for years and recently had to contract three separate jobs for our kitchen and home heating needs. They are always friendly, professional and go ABOVE AND BEYOND to work with you and solve whatever issue youve got! Recently, following our annual heating inspection, our representative told us he found our burners were beginning to rust and would need replacement soon. Our heater was not a current brand bc its at least 25 years old. He said it could be hard to find parts. The replacement heater would be expensive. He got on the phone and told us they were going to search for the parts. This morning we got a call that not only had they found the right parts but they would order them today (Friday) and be out Monday morning to install! This company is so amazing they saved us 5000$!! I dont think many companies would do that ! The other thing I want to emphasize is that this company does NOT price gauge you. They work for the best solution for you....not how much money they can get out of you. In my opinion, the quality of their work, their employees and their dedication to their customers is at the highest standards. They are the best in the state!!!

    11/15/2023-Was having issues with Lennox thermostat. Tyler, my technician, called to inform me of his arrival. He arrived within minutes. Tyler did some troubleshooting on thermostat. In addition, he physically checked my furnace on the inside and the AC unit outside. He solved the problem. Thank you Tyler for your expertise, professionalism and being courteous.

    Just had them come out this morning. They scheduled me the next day because of a cancellation they had which was fantastic. Murph called me at 0800 to verify the appointment. He showed up shortly thereafter and was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to my questions. My unit was not even a year old and installed by someone else but failing because of a leak. Murph ran some preliminary tests on the unit provide options and potential pricing.I cant say enough that my experience was 5 star worthy. Id highly recommend them if you have any plumbing or HVAC issues. All of my interactions from scheduling, to appointment verification and service was great.You can tell this is a family owned and operated company that values customer service. I wish there were more companies that are as responsive, respectful and friendly as this company.

    Have been fighting another HVAC company for 8 weeks over the furnace not working. They had put in a new thermostat and I still had on heat. They sent out technicians and claimed the furnace circuit board was burned up. Called your company and scheduled a visit for today (11/10/2023). TJ arrived early and within 30 seconds had identified the problem (the other company had wired the thermostat incorrectly). TJ rewired the thermostat and had the furnace up and running within minutes. He checked out the system to ensure it was functioning properly. Outstanding service

    My sister and I have used Fletchers twice and I am currently calling them for a toilet installation because we love them that much! From the moment you call, the excellent service starts and does not end. I love calling a business and hearing such friendly people on the other end of the line. That is sometimes a rarity these days. The appointments are usually scheduled very quickly and the techs generally arrive early. I have yet to have someone arrive late. I am very grateful for them and even though it may seem a little pricey at $100/hr., I am happy to pay for good, kind, and professional service. And normally, the jobs Ive had dont go over an hour, so its worth it in my opinion. We plan on being lifetime customers as long as they continue to keep customers first. And I think they will!

    Update - On June 22, 2022, called them to fix my AC. Technician J.J. came out, fix my AC very quickly and he was very friendly and professional. Fletchers continues to deliver. Thanks J.J. and Fletchers for great service!Prior service - Amazing service! Without a doubt the best interaction I have ever had with a contractor/service. Gary was the lead on the job and Brian assisted. Both guys were personable and professional...and they dont play around. They know time is money and they were working the entire time to get the three jobs done I needed. They were early, they were quick, they were professional, and the price was amazing. I wish they did more then plumbing and HVAC!! Again, just an amazing experience.1/26 - We have used Fletchers a number of times since (and will continue to use them. To be fair, our last few experiences required a second visit to fix something missed by the first tech but Fletchers was always professional and never charged for the second visit. I do believe they are a company that truly cares as I was offered to speak with the Service manager to give this feedback so that it could be address but in the end it wasnt needed as Fletchers fixed the issue professionally and courteously. I would give them 4.5 star.

    After researching many A/C companys to replace my aging A/C system I decided to call Fletchers Plumbing and heating and glad of it, they under cut everyones estimate by over $300.00 for a new Goodman A/C system.When they showed up not only were the very professional, but truly nice guys that treated my home like it was there own .Keeping me informed of every step before they did anything.Every one at the office could not be more helpful processing the warenteepaper work for me ,I did not have to do anything.I highly recommend Fletcher Plumbing for all you needsIt was truly a great experience, and happy I called them and will do again.

    Ive had nothing but good experiences with Fletchers, with both their technicians and people in the office. The first time I used them was a few years ago with a clogged drain and they went above & beyond to find the part to repair it for me. I live in a mobile home so parts are not easy to come by. The second time was just last year after I had a new heating/air unit installed by Horizons (NEVER use them; will explain later), and we thought we had a water leak under the home. The guys from Fletchers were all up in our insulation and under our home trying to find the leak because Horizons didnt do that.Today was the 3rd time Ive used them and they gave me my AC back. This unit was newly installed 10/2020 with Horizons (BIG MISTAKE) with new ductwork and everything. Considering it is under warranty I had no choice but to call Horizons first. As usual, they deflected what the issue was and tried to say that my vents that attach to my home (in the insulation) came detached. After THREE separate visits from Horizons, and my insistence that the technician actually look at the duct vent under the home (the reason they were there), I finally received an $850 estimate to replace the brand new duct vent because it collapsed on itself. Now mind you, this estimate was given based on a glance from the Horizons technician from what he saw outside the home, he never actually went under my home. I called Fletchers on Thursday afternoon, after Horizons left, had my estimate appointment Monday morning, and they were out here today to fix it. What started out as a seemingly simple repair ended up being a bit more because they actually went under my home and found that most of the duct vent had collapsed on itself not just one section that Horizons saw. Started off with one technician to fix a simple duct repair but it turned into three within a 20 minute time frame due to other issues. They were determined to get my AC working for me today. And they did. And for less than 1/2 the cost of Horizons, with a warranty on the duct they installed.If I could not deal with Horizons ever again, I wouldnt. But Im stuck with them due to the warranty on the unit. However, for all other issues, Fletchers will be my first call.

    I called late in the afternoon on MLK Day with a flooded basement which houses my 15K geothermal HVAC system. The associate who answered the phone let me know right away that I would have to pay the overtime rate, but that they could have a plumber to me in less than an hour. Andy arrived within 15 minutes, and had no complaints about having to put plastic bags over his shoes to duck-walk across my flooded basement to fix the hookup on my sump pump. He advised me that the original installation had been done improperly, but was able to get the pump working again with a temporary fix in less than an hour. When I asked what was needed to fix the problem correctly he was able to give me a ballpark figure that seemed quite reasonable. The entire experience was enough to make me a fan. Everyone was professional and I was really impressed with the way Fletcher came through for me. I will be using them to fix this issue and have every expectation that I am dealing with pros with integrity.

    Been dealing with Fletchers for many years. Whether its a scheduled job or an emergency, they have always took care of us and with a fair cost. Today was an emergency. Why do emergency repairs always seem to be after hours or onweekends?Lol.Anyhow, we had a big messy water leak this afternoon. Called Fletchers and Andy showed up.I knew when he walked up that my problem was going to be solved. Andy was professional and friendly as usual. Took care of the problem which was labor intensive in what seemed to a very timely manner. Good man, good company.     I called horizon services first and they told me my ac needed a expansion valve for my ac, they quoted me 2476.85. Seemed very expensive to me , so I called fletcher for a second opinion, they were recommended by the ac manufacturer as a approved repair company. Fletcher quoted 1100.00 for an expansion valve and evap coil and drier . They said they would look at it first to see if it was needed. They sent a repairman who had several tattoos, but he was more polite and gentlemanly then the guy from horizon who was clean cut. The man from Fletcher (sorry forget his name) spent twice as much time checking the system than horizon(I was put off by the horizon guy he was in and out in about 30 minutes) so the Fletcher repairman spent about an hour checking the system he said the system was a pound low charged it retested and we have not had a problem since it has been several months ac is nice and cold. If we have a problem again going to call Fletcher. THANKS GUYS!

    We had issues with our air conditioning during the hottest days of season thus far. Using the positive review ratings online for Fletcher Plumbing Heating & A/C we called this service. Although late in the day the office staff was able to send someone out. Tyler was professional and informative. Showed me the problems with my unit and what he needed to do to resolve the issues. Answered all of my questions. He was terrific. Pricing was reasonable. Highly recommend. Thank you!

    Fletchers is out to make a living, not a fortune. If you dont understand, try using another company and see what they will charge you. Fletchers is professional, reliant, and most affordable.I have a business in Dover, Smyrna and Wilmington and have used Fletchers at all three locations.Each time a different issue, with a different tech, but always with the same result. On time, work completed in a reasonable time and the cost was more than fare.As I said Fletchers is out to make a living, not a fortune.

    I simply cant praise this company enough. They responded to my emergency after hours over a weekend very quickly. Although it took 2 other trips over 2 days to fix this issue it was also quite complicated and involved. Because there were 2 men here at overtime, plus first trip by one plumber at overtime, and the last trip by 2 plumbers during business hours I was really worried what this bill was going to be. In the end I was quite pleasantly surprised with the overall cost, the fact they were able to discover the 3 issues that were created by the pool contractors and get me up and running again was terrific! Im a property manager by trade so am quite familiar with the high cost of plumbing bills. In this instance I received fantastic service at a very reasonable rate. Thank you Fletcher!

    Finally an excellent service. Tyler, their service tech was on time, excellent service and people skills. Contrary to my previous companys tech he is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job.     Most accommodating plumber in Smyrna, DE!Dec 31,2020. What a year!Today, Brian Fletcher of Fletcher plumbing arrived at our home to give us a quote on a Halo UV system for our furnace. Before he left, I asked him to help fix a leak in a hose on a toilet.I’m an older lady and had been midnight shopping on Amazon when I came upon the new 2020 American craze of THE BIDET. Less toilet paper? That’s a good thing, right? The comments from newbies were hilarious! Well, I bought a starter model with over 23,000 (!) ratings with the intent surprising my husband and having a good laugh. I was an engineer in my working life and figured I could do the install and then figure out what the hoopla was all about. I attempted to install the bidet unit last night, but the connection dripped when I turned on the supply valve. So, when Brian arrived, I asked if he could take a look once his furnace quote was done.Well, in 2 shakes he worked out the problem. As he showed me the controls, and showed me how the water blasted out into a basin, my first thought was that “that spray would take paint off a house!”. He told me some funny stories and I laughed all the while. After he left, I gave the paint stripper a go. I wonder if Brian heard me shrieking and laughing as he drove off. 2020. You gotta laugh. Brian was a great sport.Install of UV system is next week!We depend on Fletcher Plumbing. The techs are terrific- courteous, neat and informative. And they and have speedy after hours service.

    These guys were great. From the people in the office ordering parts, to the technician Bob. He replaced the circuit board then determined the other parts were not necessary. He installed the circuit board, contacted the office and didnt have any additional cost above the deposit I had already paid. We will definitely recommend Fletchers to the New Owners.     I called several other plumbing and heating places before I found fletchers. The others were a waste of time. Fletchers came right out when they said they would and fixed my problem the first time. I own four rental houses and I have had fletchers to 3 of them. I will continue to use them exclusively.
