I had them out for an install yesterday (11/13). Im,admittedly, a very picky person. They exceeded my expectations. They took the time to answer questions and with me looking over their shoulders from time to time. They had to do some digging that wasnt in the plans originally and they didnt hesitate to do it. They were very neat and clean with the job. My house is by no means a mansion or expensive but they treated like it was. Cleaned up the job site and put down grass seed and straw. I cant recommend them enough.

Jon came out to give us a quote and discuss our placement options for a new generator. He was polite, patient with our questions, and promptly sent me a quote, which we accepted.When the date for the installation came, a very professional crew showed up as promised and installed the generator. The installers were very friendly, and took extra time to show me the features and best practices for the unit.There was quite a bit of trench work involved in this project, and after burying and covering the cable, we unfortunately had a heavy rain the next day that washed out several places of the freshly-filled trench. Showing great response time, the crew came right back out the next day to repack the trench with gravel, dirt, and even topsoil.In summary, we got a great price for a whole-home generator, professionally installed on the promised date, and by a friendly crew that takes pride in their work. Couldnt ask for more that what Bob Garrett Services provided!

I second the multiple praises that Bob and his team received during the entire process from the sale to the install, but I also want to highlight Bobs service. This Saturday we last power, the generator kicked-in as it has done so for the past several power outages - Glad to have the generator! But this time there was a problem, the 220v side did not come up. I check their website and quickly discovered that they dont have office hours on Saturday or Sunday. So I filled out the service form on their site, and expected that I would not hear from them until Monday.With in 20 minutes I received a call from Bob! We discussed the issue with the generator and Bob said that someone needed to come out to troubleshoot the issue and that he would call me back after he did a little research.Bob did call back within 10 minutes and told me that he would be out to see what the problem was. Did I mention that this conversation took place before 7:00 AM? Bob was at my home by9:00 am and resolved the issue!I can not say enough good things about our experience with Bob and his team! Form the entire process of ordering the generator, the installation, and now their service, my family and I are extremely happy that we went with Bob Garrett for our whole-house generator! We would highly recommend Bob!

I cannot say enough great things about Bob and his company. My parents had Bob put in a generator in last year. They were having an electrical problem where the second story of the house had no power. I didnt call Bob because I didnt know he did plain electrical work. I had another company come who said the main breaker in one panel was bad and couldnt be replaced. They needed a whole new box that would run $4000 to $6000. I called Bob and his secretary looked up his work. It showed everything passed inspection last year. Bob called me within an hour and came to look at the problem. He found that my mother had turned the main breaker off by mistake when her air fryer tripped the breaker. He told my mom to call him if she needed anything else. My dad was at Duke starting his first round of chemotherapy. He told us In Bob I trust. I cant say how right he was. Thank you, Bob! It is nice to know that there are some good people still out there looking out for the elderly.

I called almost everyone on a late friday when most places were closed. Only place a real person answered. Quoted me really reasonable weekend rates and I think for the first time in my life, the cost of the work was less than the estimate given. Came on time, stayed in contact, fixed it pretty fast, and even gave me pictures to see the work that was done. Awesome!!!

I recently had a 16kw Generac generator installed at my house by Bob Garrett services. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. I received quotes from three other local companies. They may have worked out but after meeting with Bob and going over my needs I felt best going with him. Bob is friendly, fair, and honest. He sold me exactly what I needed, nothing more. Everyone at the company from Bob on down was a pleasure to work with. All very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They did a phenomenal job on the install. It’s great to have the peace of mind a backup generator brings and a reliable company to back it up. When needed, I will go back to Bob Garrett Services.

I first want to apologize and ask forgiveness for the poor review I posted in the past. I have recently discovered that the installer is not representative of Mr Garrett’s company as a whole. At the time of the install I was not happy with what we paid for however after a lengthy conversation with Bob and the fact that the Generator works perfectly, I am thankful to say I would certainly recommend Bob Garrett Services to install a Generator. Mr Garrett is true to his word and has remedied any doubt I have had. I feel fully confident that he will do what he says and we as customers are a priority.As we speak Mr Garrett is performing service on our Generator and we will continue forward with his company, hopefully for years to come.
