Other companies wanted me to buy an entirely new fan and light, but Mark S was willing to troubleshoot and fix the issue at hand. He also took time to ensure my cat was secure in a spare room and was talking to him to calm him down while he was working!

Mike and Jonathan arrived when they said they would, listened to what I had noticed over the last bit and took the time to look inside and outside to verify connections, safety pieces and just overall health of the breaker panel and hardware for electricity. They were able to answer my questions and explain everything so I could understand it. No pressure came when talking through repair options and they were incredibly helpful when it came to choosing the right plan and helping the financing process get started.

Recieved an estimate for installation of an outdoor outlet. Their bid was the best, straight forward and complete. Scheduling was a dream, called and they had someone come out two days later, honestly, I was expecting a week or more since it was a really small job. They had the parts dropped off before the appt, so tech had everything he needed. Worked efficiently and cleanly, what little mess there was from cutting the hole and cutting wires they cleaned up and made sure nothing was left outside on the ground. Would hire again.

Brandon arrived on time and went to work immediately. He was very knowledgeable and after checking out the area where the problem occurred, he went to the box, located the problem and fixed it. He had some tips for me, including replacing some outdated plug-ins before doing anything else. Brandon was amazing and better than any other electrician I have had to the house. Jamie and Mitch exceeded my expectations with their work ethic, willingness to share information, and patience in answering our questions. Plus their work is excellent. We relocated our kitchen and converted the galley kitchen into a dining room with buffet and beverage center. They knew St. Paul codes and inspections went easily and quickly. What they did: installed 9 ceiling wafer lights, 3 pendant lights, toe kick lights, under cabinet lights, and installed enough outlets to meet code, including pop-up lights. They put each electric appliance with its own circuit to ensure continuous service. Jamie turned our garage light into a proper 3-way light (people, dont use a handyman like the previous homeowner) - Master electricians are worth it! Due to some last-minute cabinet changes which I didnt tell them about (oops), the original plan had to be modified. Jamie and Mitch came up with a good solution that kept the design esthetic. They are personable and easy to talk to, and I never felt that they talked down to me. Weve already recommended them to two of our neighbors. Well definitely be calling them when we ready for our bathroom renovation.

Sang and Conor did an excellent job fixing the electricity in a spare bedroom. It was a challenging job with old wiring that hadn’t been properly installed previously. They did a fantastic job of fixing the problem quickly and were much cheaper than other estimates. I called up EarlyBird Electric to get a quote for a new electrical panel, water heater circuit, and garage sub panel with EV charger. The quote process was easy and I was able to see numbers during the estimate visit. I decided to proceed with the service and was able to arrange financing through EarlyBird.A few days later, Dave from EarlyBird Electric installed a new Leviton electrical panel, and added a circuit to hook up a new hybrid heat pump water heater in my utility room. Dave and Joe answered all my questions as the install progressed, and the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and for the quoted cost. I appreciate that they were able to schedule the service within a day of my water heater installation, which kept down time to a minimum.My house is a 1977 build and some things needed to be brought up to code. During the process they showed great attention to detail and explained what was going on every time I checked on progress. After the install, they went through all the outlets and switches in the house to label the circuits on the new panel. When they left, everything was as clean as when they arrived.Im very happy with EarlyBird Electrics service and will definitely give them a call when I decide to install an EV charger.

Matt and Paul came to the house for an electrical issue but did much more! I mentioned that I needed to know where a switch was which had nothing to do with why they were there. They went through my whole house and wouldn’t quit until they found it. We had spent hours doing the same but were not successful. They didn’t charge me a dime for it. Sweetest guys you’ll ever meet. I will be calling them for all of my household needs going forward!

I had a circuit breaker fail leaving my second floor out of power on a Thursday night. On Friday I called a company that advertises heavily and was told the best they could do was to call me back on Monday to see if there was a cancellation and perhaps they could be out within the week. The second place I called had a recording to direct me to email them- no computer working- not gonna happen. Then I hit upon Early Bird and recalled a co-worker had used them and was very happy with their service. The EB scheduler said they could come Monday for an $80 charge or SAME DAY- Friday- for $250! SOLD!!Luke was here within hours and did a band-aid repair replacing the one bad breaker and gave me options, based on my budget, to doing more to upgrade my 40 year old electrical panel. I opted to replace all the breakers and add surge protection which Luke did later, based around my work schedule. He also noted that after his first visit my gas meter was moved outside and the tech that did it had removed a ground cable from my water meter which he replaced- and for which I will hopefully get reimbursed by the gas company. Moreover, the $250 same-day charge was applied to the total breaker replacement job. I am very happy with the service provided by EB and by Luke and will definitely recommend your company to my friends and neighbors.

John showed up at our house with Sam on November 15 to take down some monopoint light fixtures above my kitchen island and replace them with new blown glass fixtures. John was obviously the lead electrician and could be heard passing along hints to Sam as they were working. These two were absolutely the most fastidious workmen we’ve ever had do work in our house . . . and they were animal lovers, spending a few moments with our lovable 8-month old Schnoodle. The project was completed in less than the estimated time; the work area was left in pristine condition, and the 3 new light fixtures were hung at EXACTLY same height. Very impressive. Note: if you want your old fixtures, you’ll need to tell them ahead of time.

Speedy and great service. Started with rewiring a switch for a bathroom fan and ended brilliantly the next day with the installation of a new breaker panel box and an exterior panel that houses a main electrical disconnect for fire and emergencies. I learned that it your interior panel box is 30 years or older it was not up to code and possibly unsafe, hence the suggestion to update. EB was very helpful in answering my questions and putting up with me watching over their shoulders. Would I hire them back if I encounter another electric problem -- yes, in a heart beat!

After a recent power outage and some significant related home damage, I needed to make some electrical repairs on the house before the power company would be able to make the needed repairs. Early Bird answered the phone quickly and understood the urgency of the situation. They sent out Sam within a couple hours to assess the situation. Sam clearly explained to me the repairs needed, and promised he would be able to make the needed repairs within a few hours. Sure thing, Sam finished the job as promised and the power company was at least able to begin their 3 day restoration, which would have taken even longer had Early Bird not done their job in a timely fashion.Thank You Early Bird and Sam.

Were at the very end of our whole house rewiring project, and I highly recommend Early Bird Electric for anyone looking to hire an electrician. Donovan, Sam, Cody and Tim all did an amazing job. When I discovered a squirrel had chewed off the top of the old bath vent pipe cover on the roof, Donovan arrived the next day and installed a new one. Did he have to do that for us? No, but Early Bird goes above and beyond. Some of the blown-in attic insulation fell through to the room below as holes were cut for new ceiling lights. Cody ensured it was replaced. Its that attention to every detail that sets them apart. They arrive when they say they will, work non-stop, and clean up the area before they leave for the day. The project was done in phases during our home remodel, including upgrading the service panel, replacing the old aluminum wiring with copper, and replacing every bathroom exhaust fan, outlet, light switch and fixture. Remodeling is stressful, but I never stressed over the electrical work done by the Early Bird electricians. Rebecca in Customer Service has been wonderful too, following up with us and scheduling the work. Overall great company to work with!

They fixed a faulty breaker, they made 9 different outlets GFCI certified, and they also cleaned up some hazardous wiring that was left hanging by the former home owners. My house is now safe for electrical use which was very important to me with two small children. I would definitely recommend them for any residential or commercial work, as they are not only efficient but also finished in a timely manner. Plugging in our A/C unit upstairs caused strange electrical issues. We had no idea what was going on because the breaker wasnt tripping properly and resetting it didnt fix the power going out in most of the plugs in that area. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed the outlet that was unsafely wired. I had power back upstairs the first day they came, and then they quickly got a permit to come back in two days to completely fix the issue by making a dedicated circuit for my A/C so that it is safe to use. Now my upstairs is so much more comfortable! They really know their stuff and they are really great guys. I would 100% recommend them.

In February 2023, an EarlyBird Electric team improved and added onto my panel, installed a 240V circuit for a future induction electric range, among other things. In August 2024, the new GE Cafe induction range was delivered and didnt receive power and the new circuit tripped. Two Earlybird electricians (Jamie Saukkola - Master Electrician and Mitch Williams - 3rd Year Electrians Apprentice) made a call to my home, to discover that Home Depots installers erroneously hardwired my new induction range. Once EarlyBird corrected the new range wiring, I had 100% success. Both Jamie and Mitch, talked through all of my curiosities and questions towards my 100% satisfaction. Im confident that Im now a more independent troubleshooter of my new homes electrical system.Then I had another request of them. I asked Jamie and Mitch to thoroughly assess my current footprint to accommodate a future E-car. We did a walkthru outside and they explained the pros and cons of each proposed option - and - how to smartly work with Xcel Energys capabilities for the appropriate feed and method to deliver power to my new garage that was built in Summer 2024 thats right for my needs. Once he diagnosed the problem, he gave me several options and recommendations on ways to remedy my problem. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all of the questions that I had.
