Mirelli did a great job repairing the chimney on our rental property. It was a small job but they didn’t seem to mind. Their prices are fair & everyone was courteous. We had just gotten a new roof and the worker was careful not to damage shingles in the process of the brick work. Only con is that our wait time to get someone on the job took a couple weeks longer than originally expected — but some of that was weather related. Overall, very satisfied.

Mirelli and their team were wonderful. They repaired our porch and two stoops where old brick had decayed and crumbled around our 85-year-old home. We are determined to restore this old relic to its former glory, and Mirellis good work has helped the exteriors look so much. The result of their work and brick replacement looks fabulous. We highly recommend this company. They did a great job, and we plan to use them again next year to repair our back yard patio brick.

Recommended by roofing company following an inspection of our roof. Roof was OK but advised that chimney needed attention. Team of 2 arrived on time around 8:20, finished the repair at 4. Replaced about 16 bricks, reused the bricks that were still good. Rebuilt cap and tuckpointed bricks. Showed me photos of before and after. Bigger job than I imagined. Looked really good. Excellent cleanup when finished. Would definitely recommend.

Edit: The same night of writing this review the owner called me to address the issues. There seems to have been a miscommunication where I did not schedule a time for the owner to come out and inspect the work done and upon not hearing back from me they assumed the water had been the last of any residual water leaking out the access panel in my basement, and not water actively getting in. Seeing how this was handled, I would now highly recomend this company and I will be using Mirelli for any future needs.I had water leaking into my basement from an old, unused chimney on my house. At the advice of someone I trust I called Mirelli and quickly had a quote, accepted it, and they had a crew out to fix the tuck pointing in short order.A week later water continued leaking into the basement through the chimney. I called Mirelli back and they stated they do not promise their tuckpointing to be water tight, even though that is the very specific problem I hired them for. They did say they would send a crew out that week to look at the work, and I did get a call from someone I believe to be the owner. I never saw a crew come back.I have since hired another company to touch up the work and no longer get water in my basement. Their tuckpointing looks good but did not fix my water problem.

Our chimney repair/tuckpointing work was originally scheduled for late fall; however, due to the colder weather conditions, Mirelli agreed to postpone the work to Spring when the weather would be warming up. We had a few great days of weather recently and they were able to make it out and get all the work done. It was a small one day job. The workers were careful with surroundings, worked safely and were very polite. The nature of the work is messy, lots of dust and debris, but the cleanup was very thorough and the finished product looked great. I had several bids for this work and Mirelli was very competitive and responsive to questions. I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing chimney repair or tuckpointing services.

He listened to my ideas and offered input and affordable options on how best to address the repairs. The repair crew was excellent! The workmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Searched the web for a company to do spot pointing and chimney repair on my post-WWII house. Within one day of my request for someone to come to my home a representative of the company was there and the following day I had a quote;the following week masons were at my home doing the work.They did a great job,even returning to repair a couple of spots that were initially missed - thorough clean up,even picking out the old mortar that had fallen into my gutter,and rinsing away all of the mortar dust. My neighbor even commented on the good job that was done.Great job Mirelli!

Juan and Eddie reset 3 rows of brick on our front porch and removed and replaced all the mortar joints. They did a great job and were obviously very interested that we were happy with their work.We are waiting for the mortar to cure and for the bricks to be cleaned and a siloxane waterproofing to be applied to complete the job. We have no doubt that we will be completely satisfied with the end result.

Mirelli was quick to respond to my email request for an estimate and quickly emailed a proposal after pictures of the area were provided. The work required removal and recaulking of the interior brick fireplace front to the drywall. They called to schedule immediately after I signed the proposal/contract. I am extremely satisfied with the work performed and would use them again when I require either exterior or interior tuckpointing. My only disappointment was that not all removed caulk was cleaned up from the floor area when work was complete. The worker said this will need to be vacuumed.

Therefore, I decided to call Mirelli to get an estimatefor tuckpointing our house. We thought that the estimate was very reasonable, and so we hired Mirelli. I thought wed have to wait weeks or months before work would begin. We were surprised when Mirelli scheduled us for the week following the estimate. We were very happy with the job- extensive tuckpointing work on our basement foundation and one exterior brick wall on an old house in Lafayette square. We particularly appreciated the timeliness and professionalism by all of the workers.The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that we were surprised by an 800$ addition to the initial bid. This was apparently because the bid didn’t include part of our basement wall that was behind a closet door. I was happy to pay a bit extra given the hard work that the guys were doing— I just hate surprises like this.Still, I would highly recommend their service. Just make sure you are clear on what is included in the bid!

Mirelli did a great job. My chimney was in worse shape than it look. It is 30 feet of the ground. They repaired it. They spent almost as much time cleaning up as they did the actual work. I have had the west wall on my house spotpointed a couple of times. Not only did that not stop the moisture from coming in, but that wall just looked ugly. My experience with this contractor started in the fall of 2018 when they were only two of 4-5 contractors that bothered to call me back and give me a bid. Their bid was at least half of the competitor bid. Dont get me wrong, this service aint cheap, but it is valuable. Signed the contract and waited for our day. Weather changed and the fall turned to winter overnight. Project delayed. They kept me up to date throughout the winter and had me on their book first thing in the spring of 2019. Work quality, speed of work, and cleanliness were conducted beyond my expectations. All persons at Mirelli, from the field to the office were polite and professional. Our project involved replacing all grout in a flagstone patio and fixing loose stones on a walkway. Immediately hired them to power wash and seal the project based on how good it turned out. Mirelli Tuckpointing did a fine job tuckpointing my 30+ tall, two flue chimney with difficult sloping access. I got several bids from companies with excellent ratings and they not only had the best price but had very positive reviews from their numerous customers. They obviously have a lot of work due to their quality of service, so get them scheduled and be patient. They bid my project in August, called me when my scheduled date arrived, and did it that day in January when the temperature had risen well above freezing. I signed the contract, put nothing down and sent them a check after reviewing the work when it was done. When they were cleaning up and ready to leave, they even tuckpointed a couple courses on my brick mailbox with mortar they had left over.

I didnt want them getting in each others way. The job itself looks very good. They generated quite a bit of dust while removing the old grout, but I guess thats to be expected. They spent pretty much time cleaning up the dust when they were finished, at least on my property and my neighbors. My neighbors patio was also covered with dust. Being fenced in, it wasnt accessible to be cleaned off afterwards. And one of the other contractors left for the day before they had a chance to blow the dust off his truck. Other than that, they did a good job and were finished in one day.
