Our guest bathroom tub fixture had a leak, called Kirkwood Plumbing ( Mr. Rooter) at around 9 am and the plumber was there it 11am. The technician immediately knew what the problem was gave me a price for the work and had it fixed in less than an hour. The technician was sharp, courteous, explained the issue and what the repair would entail. When I approved the repair he went right to work. He cleaned up after the job and explained the bill. Will use Kirkwood Plumbing next time I need help.

I was surprised as I contacted several companies that advertised 24 hour service and they did not perform an emergency service. Kirkwood plumbing regularly updated when the plumber would arrive. We had a bit of an emergency situation and Kirkwood Plumbing was the only company out of 10 others who had a plumber to assist.Paul was the plumber. He showed up when promised. He was extremely professional and did great work with efficiency. The issue was fixed in less than 45 mins. So thankful for the quick response in getting my leaking hot water heater replaced. Life without hot water is no fun. I thought it might take days and cost a fortune. I had the best experience with Kirkwood Plumbing. John came out to give me a price for the service I needed up front before starting. He even showed me the prices on his tablet. I had a bathroom sink faucet replaced as well as components in my shower. The replacement kit I had bought for the shower would’ve required John to break into the tile. He said it would possibly be around $2000. He installed a new showerhead, diverter and drain but advised me it would be much cheaper for me to remove a handle to take to the hardware store to see if they could replace them. John was personable, and took care to work around my pets. I referred Kirkwood Plumbing to one of my neighbors and I will be asking for John again next time I need service!

It was a pleasure having Glen from Kirkwood diagnose and complete repairs. I can now run the washer discharge water directly into my plumbing without having to dampen down the pressure by running into a containment tank before discharging into the sewer pipe. . And during the process he discovered tree roots in the outside run to the street main. My discharge water from the side of the house has not run this strong in the last 14 years. Cant thank Glen enough. Throughly professional and quite evident he enjoys his profession.

Very easy going and homely people to work with and remained dedicated to the task while also making the whole experience feel like meeting an old friend for lunch. You could not ask for a better group of guys to have working at your house. I had a difficult project in an older house, no easy way to access the basement from my driveway and a dog that barked at every move they made and they just kept going until the project was completed. It made such a difference having new pipes and drainage in the basement. They had some delay in getting a part, but once they did, they stayed on the project til completion.

Had a sewer gas issue that multiple companies looked at for us. Wish I would’ve called Kirkwood Mr. Rooter from the beginning. They resolved our problems in about 4 hours! We were told our service tech would arrive between 8am-noon, and he arrived promptly at 8am about 15 minutes after we received a text that he was in route. First, we talked to a drain specialist who was able to verify that our drains were completely clear. I originally thought this was the source of our problem, but it was not. He called one of their plumbers who came about 30 minutes later. As I was explaining the issue – he honed-in on a drain for our half bath toilet and said “I’m going to guess this is where the problem is.” Sure enough, after conducting a smoke test, he was able to verify that the toilet sweep was indeed the culprit. Whoever installed the toilet before we moved in did not use the right fitting type. They pulled the toilet up and redid the drain with some new PVC, reset toilet and caulked around the base. They cleaned up the job and left everything the way they found it. Problem fixed! The guys at Mr. Rooter were both punctual and extremely professional. They thoroughly explained the repair, left no surprises and exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter for your all of your plumbing issues. Local, family owned business that provides excellent customer service!

We contacted Kirkwood Plumbing when we noticed a lot of water leaking through the ceiling from our kitchen into our basement and they came out within 48 hours. When the plumber came out, we naturally could not replicate the leak, but he walked us through what he thought the situation could be, and what our next steps were if we saw it leaking again.We saw the leak again over the weekend and called Kirkwood Plumbing back early the next week. The same plumber, Jake, came out (and didnt charge us another service fee) and identified the problem after cutting into the wall. After identifying the problem, he was able to fix it all the same day and complete the entire project, explain what he did, and answer all of our questions. The entire project passed inspection, and while we hope not to need their services too soon, well definitely be calling Kirkwood Plumbing next time we need help!

Job was completed in timely fashion. Product still working 24 hours later. On the flip side I think worker should wear different shoes going in and out of the house when working in dirty water conditions. Most significantly is how astronomically costly the job was. I was in extremis and could not get a competitive bid. It was simply a sump pump replacement. I don’t know anyone that gets paid that much money for an hour of work. I wish I was paid that hourly rate when I was seeing patients. Overall the job was done well but it’s imperative to get competing costs if you deal with this company.

I was impressed with the communication and the professionalism of everyone I dealt with. They were able to address the job very quickly as well, which is why I chose them.My only complaint is the high cost. This was a pretty simple job of replacing my outside faucet with a new frost free one and adding a different cut off valve. It only took about an hour and my charge was $589. My water main had to be shut off while I tried to find a plumber, so I was not in a position to get multiple bids. I do recommend the company, however, if cost is a concern, I would get bids before using Kirkwood. In the future, if I have plumbing needs, I will get bids, but I will consider Kirkwood among them.

We called Kirkwood Plumbing out to our office on a Monday after we came in and found our refrigerator had been leaking all weekend. The water line for our ice/water dispenser was causing the leak. The first two companies couldnt come out for almost a week. We had a flood in our kitchen and these two companies offered no emergencies services. I called Kirkwood Plumbing and they were there 2 hours later and had the issued fixed and the cost was so affordable. We have them in our system at work to use them for any future needs!

We had an interesting issue of a water leak inside a non-structural wall and dripping to the ceiling below. Had been a slow drip and when it appeared the ceiling was saturated in that spot. Kirkwood plumbing helped quickly diagnose the situation, made “surgical cuts” to find plumbing issue on both end, and then quickly cut and replaced the corrupt pipe section. Curtis and Dylan were like the younger, nicer, plumbing versions of Batman and Robin. Curtis gave Yon leaky pipe a lean and hungry look... then it stopped leaking. Curtis then used his x-ray vision to see another problem, which I had not seen, and Dylan fixed it with some exotic machines. They were also nice in explaining how and why things were important. According to some local legislation somewhere, passing within 5 feet of Dylan or Curtis is equivalent to a college degree from Valparaiso.
