I would highly recommend the technician team of Bruce and Roy. They completed a fall check up on my furnace to a level I had never seen before. And they were professional enough to recommend replacement of items that while working today may falter in the future and it is better to be preventive than it is to call at 2 o’clock in the morning and I have no heat. They did a great job.

This week I had three people out from Golden Seal. Each of them was absolutely fabulous, and each person made sure I was completely satisfied. Bernard & Jerome came out to do the maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure everything was perfect before they left, and they made sure I was aware of everything they did to make sure my units were up and running properly. Jerome explained my options for a new hot water heater, and even made a special trip back to my house the next day to answer my questions. He was so thorough and easy to work with. My experience ended with Oscar installing a new hot water heater. He was so professional and courteous. He informed me of everything he was installing, and he made sure the old hot water heater was disposed of. It was so nice to deal with three professionals who treated me with such kindness. I have been with Golden Seal for many, many years, and the attention to quality customer service has neve been better.

Called Golden Seal when the alarm sensor of the water heater went off. Apparently the drain from the tray under the water heater was connected to the drain from the humidifier and evaporator coils when Golden Seal had installed the water heater earlier. The back flow of water from the coils/humidifier into the tray under the heater caused the alarm to go off. Oscar identified the issue quickly and fixed it. He went out of the way explaining and answering the questions I had. The issue was resolved. However, I unfortunately had to pay for the visit which was caused by improper installation by Golden Seal during original installation. I give 5 stars to Oscar. But have reduced a star overall because Golden Seal need to ensure installation is done properly.

Excellent service, very professional, knowledgeable & clean. Oscar & Tim did a wonderful installation/replacement job on our toilets and faucets. Weve had Tim & Oscar out multiple times now installing outside spickets, running new lines, installing filtration systems, adding an outdoor sink to our deck installation + running a line out to our shed on a house we just bought. They always answer all of our questions and we HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

There was an issue with my furnace intermittently turning on and off and not heating.I called Service Experts and they sent someone out within a few hours. Bruce & Roy came and determined that the flame sensor needed cleaning. I had an annual maintenance appointment in two weeks so Bruce made a call and got the charge waved. It was a big savings and he went the extra mile. Thanks!! 😊

Oh my gosh. What an amazing experience. This morning I woke up to find my water heater leaking. I called for help and called Golden Seal. They sent a plumber out, Oscar Caballero. He was amazing. He took time to explain options. I had to replace water heater, but he was awesome. Took his time with installation, payment options, and took precautions in my home every step of the way, explained the new water heater once installed. Tech came out to access our furnace because it was loud. Made a bunch off suggestions but could not do anything while he was on site. Said it needed cleaning but couldn’t even do that! We’ve spend thousands with this company and your technicians don’t have a vacuum on board to do some cleaning of the unit?Update: After I posted my review the General Manager Phil reached out and apologized for my experience. He sounded like a very nice gentlemen! He sent out a crew and fixed our issue. The two technicians were very professional and knowledgeable! They completely redeemed themselves and gained a customer for life. I would highly recommend this company! Thank you!!

Our experience started with Colin, who helped us secure a payment plan which we could afford. Within 24 hours Tim and Oscar arrived and installed a state of the art Tankless Water Heater. Our AC went out and Bernard came out the same day as when we called. He quickly diagnosed the issue, got the part ordered and was out the next morning to install it. He was great in communicating with us and over all it was only about 20 hours from the point where we called for service until the new part was received, installed and our AC was back in business. VERY HAPPY!

I am following up on a bad review I posted about my experience with Golden Seal Service Experts in Sept’24. However, my problems with my HVAC system continued into Oct’24 so they sent out Chris and Bill to resolve, the root cause was identified by Chris immediately and Bill told me that they will make good on my earlier payments on parts. As a follow-up Cole found more intermitting problems and was very skilled at getting to the root cause and told me that he got approval from his manager to credit my account for the $3k plus payments on parts that should have not been replaced. I understand we all make mistakes, but it is how we resolve the situation. I am now staying with Service Experts due to the professionalism, integrity, and “a man of his word” from Cole, Chris, and Bill. Thank you sincerely!

We had Keith come from Golden Seal and he was great! Very friendly, efficient and thorough. This company in general is very well prepared and communicative throughout the entire scheduling/maintenance check process. When scheduling, they asked ahead of time if we had pets that needed to be put up before they arrived, which we do. They then made note of that and then called ahead of time so we had time to put our dogs away instead of just coming to the door and ringing the doorbell—fellow dog owners I’m sure understand the chaos this can cause lol. We signed up for the maintenance plan, which really is an excellent deal, not only price wise, but convenience wise. We also appreciated that they also offer the option to pay the year up front instead of only a monthly payment option. Overall, could not be more pleased with this company so far, and Keith’s service at our house today!

I sent out 5 emails to 5 different companies! Saturday nite late! The General Manager returned my email within the hour on Saturday nite! From Golden Seal~Phil! Telling me to call on Sunday! I called Tuesday evening, reached a guy named David! He explained a few things as to how their company works. Next David set me up with the Comfort care team, Colin Giesen. He called within 10 minutes. We discussed my job I needed done, cost etc. Set up for Colin to come to my home see existing water heater and discuss options. The GM Phil contacted Colin while in my home to discuss my service with us! Next the plumber was set up to come today this afternoon! What a wonderful set of men I’ve talked with for the job I need, water heater, install and removal of old! They bring all you need, including the new water heater! They are all angels! What a great experience. I initially called because the furnace fan continued to blow even though the switch was in the neutral position on the thermostat. My mom used Golden Seal for the initial install over 24 years ago. She was elderly and did not maintain the system for 10 years. But, the service log was on the furnace with the phone number and I called. Im so glad I did. They checked everything. They offered terrific plans and options. They were reassuring, thorough, professional and just really nice. Bill Nicholson took care of it all... explained all of the details and I felt like I was in the best hands possible for such a big purchase, since I had to replace both the furnace and AC unit. I cant say enough about how great this company is and their employees.

The next morning he came promptly, replaced for our septic pump. Very happy with the company and the efficient work they provided.

I recently had a new hot water heater, air conditioner, furnace, and thermostat installed by Golden Seal.Larry completed the hot water heater installation. He was extremely polite and professional. He made sure I had all my questions answered and was even willing to give the HVAC installers a hand.Jesse and Daniel completed the AC and furnace installation. They were both great - again, very polite and professional. They stayed to make sure I understood my new system, and they took me to show me how to perform maintenance of the little things (UV bulb, etc). They also ran after my rambunctious puppy who escaped my yard while they were out there, and brought him back with a smile. :)Thank you to all three of these gentlemen. He was very professional and was very patient with my mom. He was also very patient and considerate when he had to speak to my brother by phone to explain the issues that he found with our moms HVAC system. However, we did get a second opinion from someone that was able to fix the A/C unit without having to replace it. The services of the technician that we used were less costly. Therefore, we really cant recommend Golden Seal since we only had a tech visit to assess the problem.

I have been a customer of Golden Seal since 2005 when I purchased a new furnace and air conditioner. We also have used their annual maintenance plan and both the furnace and air conditioner continue to run as good as new. Their maintenance staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. When my 16 year old water heater decided to stop working last week, I called Golden Seal to see if they also sold and installed water heaters. They did and I was referred to Matt Richardson who offered to come to our house the following day. Matt inspected our laundry room and had concerns that the new, larger model water heaters may not fit in our small space. We also wanted to take this opportunity to replace the flooring in the laundry room, but couldn’t be without a water heater long enough to tile the area where the heater would sit. Matt said he would check on water heater sizes for us and think about how we could handle the flooring issue. By the next day Matt had answers for us. Not only did he find a water heater that would fit our space, but went to Home Depot and looked for something that we could use to cover the old tile under the heater. Not finding anything to his satisfaction, he mentioned this to another customer who offered to cut us a piece of marble to perfectly fit under the new water heater and would butt up to our new tile. Matt worked on his own time to find a resolution to our problems. His friendly personality and dedication to customer service was far beyond our expectations. He also came to the installation to make sure we were happy with the final product. The installation team of Victor and Ernesto did an excellent job fitting the new tank in place and making all the new connections look like a custom job. They were always considerate of the cleanliness of our home by laying tarps and covering their shoes. Both my wife and I were extremely happy with the final product, the excellent service and the friendliness of everyone involved. I would highly recommend Golden Seal to anyone for their HVAC needs.
