    We had a water heater go in the attic and they were here within the hour. We discussed options and had it fixed the next day. We also had them put in the water softener, carbon filters and reverse osmosis for the kitchen. Theyre the kindest, most professional plumbers that Ive ever had the honor of working with.

    We were having work done on our house and the other guys accidentally drilled into a pipe in the foundation. We had no idea what to do. I started calling plumbers with either no response or they were booked at least a week out. I saw all of Pickell Plumbings great reviews, I dont know why they didnt popup in my results sooner. I called them, spoke with someone right away and felt relieved I could get this really bad leak taken care of asap. I am so impressed and happy with Pickell Plumbing. Steven and Devon were about to come out fast and fix our busted pipe. They had to work really hard and get access to it in our foundation. They repaired it excellent and we had water again right after. They were fast, honest, and very reasonable with pricing. Thank you again, you guys rock!

    Austin has never seen weather like this and Pickle Plumbing was able to come out same day and help me during a pipe burst. They have been out 12+ hours helping people in need!! Professional, amazing communication, on time, and caring!! I would definitely refer them to friends/family and will be a repeat customer!!Edit: while Pickle was here I had them look at my shower to see if it was something they could repair at a later time. He said it was an easy fix and he could come back out in a few days to fix it. He included the repair in my current bill with the burst pipe and said it was discounted in exchange for google review. Called the tech several times and his wife and they never showed back up to fix the shower. Removed a star.

    Our water pressure was low which turned out to be an issue with the water softener. I looked online for plumbers who dealt specifically with water softeners and chose Pickell Plumbing because of the high reviews. Danny came out the same day and explained my options and answered all of my questions…and I had a lot because I really don’t understand water softeners. He installed a new water softener, fixed the toilets which were making weird noises and even replaced a bathroom faucet that we bought but never got around to installing. He and his employees were very friendly and I’m happy with the work they did. I’ll definitely call him again if I have any plumbing issues and highly recommend him to others.

    I had a kitchen krisis!! My kitchen sink was clogged and nothing I did worked. It was 4:30 on a Saturday. I called 4 Plumbers that said they serviced “24” hours!! That is a joke all 4 said it would be Monday!! So much for 24/7. Then I saw Pickell Plumbing and read the reviews which were all good. So I tried calling. The owner of the company answered my call, let me explain and calmly said “I can be there in an hour “ my clog was not a simple one. He had to go on the roof but presto!! It was done!!     Pickell Plumbing has always been there when we needed them. I had a back flow valve that needed immediate attention after a hard freeze. Not only did they show up quickly and replaced it, but they insulated it so it wouldnt freeze again. Their pricing is always a great value. We will always call him as my only go to plumber.

    Danny is true life-saver!He has come out to fix urgent plumbing problems at our house on several occasions and does a great job and provides awesome customer service.This week he replaced a broken water heater and notice the exhaust vent had not been properly installed when our house was built 20 years ago.     I highly recommend Mr. Pickell! We’ve hired him now 3 different times for different things. Mr. Pickell really got us out of our pickel (pun intended) during our home inspection period. He was the only plumber in Austin who would come that same day to camera snake entire house. That really helped us to determine the condition of the house plumbing. Then we hired him & his crew to do a major repair job before moving in. And since then, he’s the only plumber I trust to handle other plumbing needs from fixing a toilet to unclogging a drain.     UPDATE: STILL GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I posted two months ago about my garbage disposal and it finally quit running for good this time.     We, my wife and I, were having some issues in our bathroom (water on the floor) that we tried to do troubleshoot ourselves. After several experiments with no different results, we called Pickell Plumbing. Our first thought, oh God, how much is this going to cost or what hidden fees could appear.This is where Pickle Plumbing helped ease those fears by outlining expectation step by step. They actually tried to help over the phone before scheduling an appointment, respecting our budget concerns.We did end up having the owner come out, with agree upon expectations, to thoroughly examine our issue.     Sunday afternoon I realized I had water leaking out of my garage. The water heater was in the house when we bought it in 06 and no telling how long before that. I called Pickell Plumbing. The owner, Danny, answered the phone and walked me through the process of shutting down this gas heater. I sent him some pictures via text, he quoted me a price. His team came out bright and early Monday morning and had it replaced and up to code in no time. Great work at an honest price. I would definitely call Pickell Plumbing again in the future.

    We bought a new water softener at Home depot but the installation cost from the store was higher than we paid for the water softener itself. I was refered to Pickell plumbing by a friend and was NOT sorry at all. They came next day after contacting him. They did great work and installed everything really clean. It looks better than the job on the old water softener, which he also removed for us.

    These guys work way too hard and will do everything they can to fit you in at any time of the day. They came out on a Wednesday afternoon/evening to look at the various plumbing issues I was having and fixed our pressure release valve (our water pressure is much better now), replaced a busted hose bib, and prepared our water softener to have a whole house filter included. They were back out on Thursday around 9:30 pm to install the new filter. Happy with how everything turned out and am sure to be a repeat customer.

    We woke up one morning during the terrible ice and snow storm to find water on our kitchen floor. We turned off the water under the sink and contacted our insurance company. We then started calling plumbers. No one called us back, nothing. It has now been a month and I am tired of waiting for the over ten plumber that were recommended not calling us back. I made a list of every plumber in the area. Pickell Plumbing was on the list. I called them and received a call about an hour later. The woman who called apologized for not calling sooner. I was shocked because it had only been an hour and no one else even took the time to call. The woman who called told me someone could come to our house the next day. The plumber showed up during the time window. My husband was home for the visit. He said the plumber was courteous, friendly and went to work the minute he walked. I never share what we pay for repairs or purchases we make. However, I will tell you I was shocked in the BEST way possible. When my husband told me what we were charged, I made him repeated it because I did not think there was anyway the price could be what my husband told me. If you need a plumber who is courteous, timely, will do a great job and are so reasonable in their prices I recommend you call Pickell Plumbing. I would give them ten stars if possible.

    Danny and his guys did a great job, showed up same day to repair a leak with my water softener, upgraded and refurbished the unit, and replaced the old PVC piping with solid metal fittings.     I called late one evening because I thought I had a clog in my pipe.Danny (owner) was here that night, the price was amazing, the workers were very Covid safe, they kept me informed of what was going on & showed me what the problem was (which was great because I never felt like I was being taken when I thought it was a simple clogged drain and they showed me it was a fully collapsed pipe up against my foundation and another crack by my washout that ended up taking more work than expected), and they were the friendliest guys who worked very cleanly and efficiently!I seriously cant recommend them highly enough! One of the best companies and the nicest most competent workers Ive ever called to my home for any kind of repairs. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, because they deserve them.

    During the winterstorm in Austin, I was not getting any help from any plumbing service or even from 911 on time when a pipe burst in my patio and there was water flooding into the apartment. Pickell Plumbing managed to come within an hour of calling even with terrible roads and give at least a temporary fix to the problem. They also helped communicate with special operations who were checking on houses nearby to see if something can be done.     I called several plumbers for bids after my water heater died. My first option was to switch to tankless but after crunching the numbers from the first 2 bids it just didnt pay off.     Had a nightmare scenario on a weeknight where water kept coming up out of the toilet and running all of my floors, even after turning all the water off to my place, it kept coming out at an alarming rate. Used every towel I had. Every plumber I called told me it would have to be in the next 2 days before they could come out. I was recommended Pickell Plumbing from someone in the area and they came out immediately at night and worked until we had it figured out. His words were he would never leave anyone in that situation. He figured out the problem, fixed it, and ran a camera to make sure the pipes were clear. I really dont know or want to think about what I would have done if he hadnt come that night. Will recommend to everyone I know.

    We discovered a pinhole leak on Friday in a pipe that flooded the garage and needed to get repaired asap. Due to Covid-19, our family of 4 couldnt go anywhere and now had no running water. The plumber that came out from our home warranty couldnt repair the pipe until Tuesday, so I had to call around to find a plumber that could come sooner. After several calls that led to plumbers not working on the weekend, I finally called Pickell. They came out on Saturday and fixed the leak. The crew that came out were great and knowledgeable and did a great job. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs!

    I cant recommend a better plumber! These folks are prompt, quietly competent and professional and work within your budget. They also have a great customer service mindset, which is oh so rare these days.     Danny worked with me on the first really big job I needed on my house. A complete trench and reroute of my main. It was an excruciatingly complicated job and his plumbers did amazing work. Since then, every time I need a plumber there is no-one else I will call. Great people, not pushy sales. He will tell you what you need and do it. No pushing anyone into stuff that isnt necessary. Hes priced fair and he will not leave your house looking like a hurricane ran through it. They actually clean up after themselves. Go figure, good, honest people doing good honest work.

    After this horrible experience with the Winter Storm when there are so many reasons to be skeptical, at best... that I could count on someone to help...My pipes froze and when they thawed, only a trickle of water came through my faucet... I called Pickell upon a recommendation from a neighbor. I expected a long wait due to current demand . They diagnosed my problem and told me how to fix it over the phone at no charge.     Thank you Pickell!! Pipe bursted during the Austin freeze and they were out within 24 hrs! Wasn’t an easy one either as the pipe was in the ceiling in between the 1st and the second floor so he had to hunt it down which he did very quickly. Got me fixed up and I’ve got water again!!     Called them last night--water was not working at all, residue in toilets. Over the phone he correctly diagnosed my water-softener had blown. Over the phone walked me through how to shut the valve off, so residue would not ruin my ice maker, washing machine, and dishwasher. He arrived this morning at 9 am, and all was fixed by noon, and he hauled off the old water softener.

    Steven and Devin were absolute life savers.... for my kids LOL. We have been having slow drains/plumbing and I was 100% sure the kids had flushed Legos down the toilet. Were on our 2nd home and had them install a whole house water conditioning system with 5stage reverse osmosis filter. A stout system.     I dont normally do reviews, but our experience with Pickell Plumbing has warranted me to change my old ways. Great experience with Danny. Water was leaking up through the floor the Friday evening before Mothers Day. Our regular plumber was not available. My husband remembered seeing the Pickell Pumbing truck and I looked him up on the internet. He was there really quick. He found the source of the leak in an interior wall and stopped it for the night. He also took care of calling a restoration company, as all the floors were going to have to be ripped out and walls dried/cut out. He came back the next day to repair the pipe permanently and found another leak in a different interior wall. Of course, he fixed that one also with high quality copper pipe, as we had soft copper pipe in the walls. He insulated the pipes in the ceiling, installed a water softener, at our request, and we are good to go. We feel like Danny is part of the family, now.
