I was impressed from start to finish with Motor City plumbing and drain. I work at a small nonprofit and we need paperwork filled out for auditing purposes. Ive had issues with other companies not turning it in but they got it back to me in the same day! Also, our plumber, Mark, was excellent and got the work done in a timely manner! He has a great attitude and took a quick look at a grease trap to see if there were any issues. Well definitely be using them again and hopefully well get Mark again!

I had a issue with the water wouldnt stop running in the bathtub. I call Motor City Plumbing and Drain on Saturday and was able to get an appointment for Monday morning.Jake arrived on time, he was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He was able to fix the bathtub in a matter of minutes. I mentioned to Jake that the water in the washtube was draining slowly and he explained to me what was causing it and he was able to fix it as well. I am very happy with the service I received ☺️. Mark is now my go to guy for plumbing. He came out for a hot water tank service, was very kind and explained the ins and outs of what he was doing. Didn’t pressure us into buying unnecessary things, made some recommendations and made sure we were good to go before he left. He was even careful to be quiet when leaving as we had just put our toddler down for a nap. Will be asking for him in the future!

I did a google search for clearing a slow bathtub drain. Scheduling with customer service was a breeze! I was able to get an appointment for the next day to accommodate my schedule! I received a call from the customer service informing me the time the plumber would arrive by. George arrived 10-15 minutes early. He was extremely professional and friendly. Explained the cost, the details of the job and gave me an estimate for a large job for my unfinished basement bathroom. Prices are extremely reasonable for a professional job with a warranty. They have a returning customer! Definitely recommend!

George D gave great customer service. UPDATE 12/27/2024 George D and Scott came out to hydro jet our main drain that was clogged really bad and they were able to clear it. Ive had multi pluming services come out to perform hydro jetting and they were unable to clear the pipes said they could not get through the roots. MOTOR CITY GOT THE JOB DONE. Also Jamie in the customer service office was very nice and professional, excellent customer service.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Motor City Plumbing and Drain to replace two old outside water spigots. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. Initially, I received a quote from a sales representative, and when I called back, the office already had my data, making it easy to set up an appointment.Jake, the installer, came out the following week on November 4th. He was incredibly friendly and thorough. He informed me that he would be installing frost prevention spigots along with new shut-off valves. Jake completed his work efficiently and then took me on a walk-through to explain everything he had done.I was genuinely impressed with Jakes customer interaction and how naturally he handled the job. If you need any plumbing work done, I highly recommend asking for Jake. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire process a breeze.

I called Motor City Plumbing and Drain based on the reviews and I’m happy I did! Mark was at my house as my laundry line needed to be snaked. Not only was he pleasant and courteous but also, extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how my laundry tub trap should be plumbed, ways to help manage my pipes and explained how the pipes ran beneath the floor. He ran a camera through the pipe to show me what was going on down there and recommended having the line hydro jetted.The last plumbing company that I had out to the house placed the drain cap back on upside down and Mark had to fix their mistake.You can’t even tell that a plumber was on-site today as he cleaned up all the mess too. I have not had another plumbing company do that! It’s always stinky and much appreciated to not see sludge on the floor. I can now do just a quick bleaching.I will definitely call again to have the hydro jetting complete. I’ve even recommended them to a friend already.

I had an awful smell in my laundry room. Mark came out and found I had a gas leak from my dryer. Once knowing that was the issue, I had him check my gas stove and I had a leak there as well. Mark was very knowledgeable and thorough. I have had bad luck with plumbers in the past. This company is very honest and reasonable. This is the only plumber I will be dealing with in the future. I checked Facebook for sump pump repair recommendations and called Motor City for service due to the multiple great reviews. I called and asked for an appointment as soon as possible and Rob came out the very next morning. He identified the two problems immediately and explained what needed to be done and why. He made recommendations and explained why there were a couple of additional items that should be corrected or updated due to the age of the items. He was very upfront with the costs before he started. He along with the gentlemen that brought out a machine that was needed for one of the issues showed me the issue and corrected it very quickly. I called the following day to ask if Rob could come back out for something that I had noticed with the new equipment and again, he came right out, did a minor adjustment and all is good now! In addition to Robs great service, those answering the phone were also awesome. Thank you Motor City Plumbing & Drain!!

After having fecal matter on our basement floor of our 50-year-old home, I called Rob Risch my HS alumni buddy who was off today, but he referred to me to George who came out within 90 minutes and went above and beyond to make sure our sewer line was free and clear. The first snake attempt cleared some roots and deposits out but because the main sewer line is 130 feet away, he had to call Dom to bring the pressure washer. An hour later they cleaned up in no time and George waived the initial $349 fee so we just had to pay the $1249 pressure washer service. All on a Friday afternoon before dinner! Thanks guys!

My basement floor drain had backed up, so I called Motor City Plumbing and Drain. I was able to get a convenient next day appointment. Tim and Duncan came out and were able to unclog my main drain. Unfortunately, my problem was that the main drain was compromised and needs to be replaced. Tim and Duncan showed me and explained what exactly the problem was. I now have them scheduled to come out and make the necessary repairs. The price quoted to me was very reasonable. Tim and Duncan were both very trustworthy and very professional. The staff in the office I spoke to was excellent as well.Tim and Duncan came out to make the repairs to my basement floor drain. They were just as professional as they were on the first visit to my house. They had to break up some concrete to get below the basement floor. They did a great job making the needed repairs and also in minimizing a mess. I was left with very little clean up considering the labor-intensive job they had to do. My mind has been put at ease knowing this work has been done. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, I will be sure to call Motor City Plumbing and Drain and I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a plumber.

Motor city plumbing deserve more than a 5 star rating. I actually give them a ten star rating. I called them with a bad plumbing problem and the response was off the chart. They sent a plumber named Cody within a hour. Codys work was absolutely fantastic! He explained the issue with professionalism. He worked in my bathroom and was very neat. My wife changed the shower curtain to a white color, Cody didnt put not one spec of dirt on the white curtain. Great service! Had a problem with my drain, called Motor City plumbing. They scheduled me for the next day between 2-6 and placed me in a wait list. I ended up getting a call a few hours later because they had an opening. I took it, Tim came out with an apprentice, younger man, Steve. Extremely professional and pleasant, Tim clearly knew his business and educated me as to the problem.. Jack, Dominic and Noah did a phenomenal job on a two day project replacing my drain lines in my home that was built in 1910. Jack who gave the estimate explained the process perfectly and in a great detailed fashion described what was going to be replaced and what lines would be redirected due to the old condition of my galvanized pipes, which all got replaced by PVC pipping. The crew of guys really knew what they were doing and understood the assignment. I will highly recommend them for the future.

He showed up only hours after my call, and, per usual, was awesome. He explained my options, moving forward, and then offered logical , cost effective alternatives until I am in a position to invest in a big updating project.. I will NEVER call another plumber.Fast and excellent service, personable and professional!May 2024Tim and his partner came out this morning for a routine root clearing, after an emergency call just over 2 years ago. Once again, they did a fantastic job, taught me things about my plumbing, as well as other helpful information on my house. I will never use another company, and will continue to ask for them by name. They do excellent work for a fair price, and 100% recommend them. my first review is below.March 2022-I called plumbers for two days, none of them called back or showed up. Tim, and his partner, showed up at the earliest part of the time window, and went above and beyond to get my sewer line and basement cleared. Not only did he go out of his way to make sure I was in the clear, he gave me a lot of information on how and what to do, so I can avoid this in the future. I would 100% recommend Tim and this company to anyone in need of services.

Tim & Noah arrived promptly at 8am the day they were to replace our clogged sump drain. They immediately and carefully dug a 30+ foot long trench, by hand, through thick roots from a neighbors tree. The work was laborious and long, but both of them got it done and done beautifully. He put protective covers over his work shoes and inspected our sink for the right disposal. He had the new disposal in his work truck. Installed the disposal and made sure there werent any issues. I had the best experience with this company. I had to get the whole house plumbing done because my house is old and had a lot of leaks.I looked into another company and the price quoted was too much. I contacted them and George came out and gave me a better quote to do more.George, brought in Dom, Nick and Tim and they knocked out the whole house and extras that needed to be updated like a water heater etc. in one day. I was at work and he explained and showed me through face-time (through my daughter) what was being done. He finished a little before I got home and waited.
