A different contractor (not Vito) renovated our house including the replacement of our HVAC system and much of the duct work. During the first summer after completion we noticed water leaking from the ceiling in several areas from condensation in our ducts.Our original contractor couldn’t solve the problem. A friend recommended Vito. A team of people came out and diagnosed our problem. Turns out the contractor installed air returns that were too small for the system and we weren’t getting enough air in the system. Vito came up with a multi-prong solution that addressed the problem.Unfortunately, the following summer, we had condensation in one area of the ducts Vito didn’t wrap the previous summer. We were concerned that this was going to cost us even more money. But, we called Vito and they sent someone out right away to take a look. They fixed the problem same day and didn’t charge us for the additional work.Tom and his team were smart and professional, and they stood by their original work and promise to fix the problem.Thanks Vito!

My furnace was making strange noises, so I called to have the problem investigated. It seems my over 10 year old heating system was failing and needed to be replaced. This was the day before Thanksgiving and I doubted of anything could be done in time to save the holiday festivities. Vito Services came, diagnosed the problem, made sure they had the new system available and sent a crew out to replace the old broken furnace/ac and compressor with a new one. My holiday was saved by the outstanding gentlemen of Vito Services.

When leaving a message the night before that our AC was not working Vito called the next morning and was able to have us on the 2nd call schedule for Silver Spring. Aaron arrived on a hot day to my house that was 86 degrees:( He determined the problem which was a broken fuse and a contactor that was not functioning.The job was done efficiently and parts were readily available.Although it took hours for the house to cool down we were cool and comfortable by the evening :)The next morning Tracy followed up to see if AC was working .to our satisfaction. I was very pleased with the service provided by Vito!

Evidently something from the new faucets had broken loose and clogged the shower head. Carlos diagnosed the problem immediately and now all is well. Great job!

Technician came on schedule and, because he had worked on the wall-hung toilet a few years ago, immediately diagnosed the issue. This time it was the shut-off valve that had come loose, spraying water all over the place until I managed to turn off the main water pipe to the house. The technician manually fixed the inside-the-wall toilet valve and suggested we purchase the part for future needs, as the toilet model is no longer being manufactured.

I was certain that I was going to have to replace my HVAC unit, but Jamie assured me pretty early on, that he thought he could probably fix it. And he did just that. This review is for the last service we were FORCED to receive, since the initial service was TERRIBLE. The first (initial service person caused our AC to shut completely down because the service technician did NOT appropriately reattach some of the wires so they came loose and caused a total shut down. We were forced to have VITO send a different service technician (David W) who did a GREAT job. He took as much time as needed, checked out ALL the wiring and all the equipment and found to two wires that were not properly connected. He fixed them and our AC has been working GREAT since David W did his great work.

I am very happy with the service in general. However, the last technician I was assigned for a plumbing job had an attitude not very customer friendly. I was indicating that all family members had identified a foul odor in the water but the plumber kept on dismissing my statement saying the water smelled fine, just like water. I know that odor is hard to assess unless you have access to a gas chromatography device but as a customer I do not need to have a technician coming in my house to suggest that the odor is in my imagination! Event hough the water heater was flushed, the foul odor persists… Vito’s customer care management need to train company contractors/employees to treat customers properly!

Update 8/10/21It seems like there’s been a lot of turnover and new management responded very positively to my review. Bobbie returned today with the part and for the first time in a year there is no leaking faucet.I will try Vito again for our next need, and hope to be able to give them a five star review.Our technician, Bobby, was very nice. He did a nice job on the work he did. The review score has nothing to do with him or the actual work provided. It has to do with the fact that we needed a replacement part that he said the parts specialist would locate. Two months later I called back and was told that it was still pending/they hadnt found it yet and theyd contact me when they did. Six months after the original visit I called again and was told there was no update. But I had received no calls. And I still have a dripping tub. Not too impressed with the follow up, to say the least.

I selected Vito Services as the contractor for my lead pipe replacement through the city lead replacement program in DC. I could not be happier. Everything was made as easy as possible, and after all the permitting was completed, the work only took a couple of days (1 day for the actual pipe replacement and one more day to fill in the holes in my yard and have DC inspect.) I simply cannot say enough good things about Chris and Yaz. They were professional, thorough and friendly. Yaz put my yard back together and made it look as good as new. Best of all, my final bill came in less than the estimate. I couldn’t ask for more and will definitely use Vito in the future.

Vito Plumbing was called to fix an undetected copper pipe leak in ceiling of basement, that caused damage to sheetrock, insulation and carpeting. A plumber was sent promptly at 8am as requested. Bobby provided a quick estimate with an agreeable price, which included a replacement exterior water shutoff value. Bobby completed the repair in a little more than an hour. The water pipe leak was located in a difficult area, but the plumber was successful. Bobby was courteous, thoughtful, agreeable, pleasant and of course very helpful. Bobby was able to address at least 4 other plumbing issues in our house during his visit, so we were very happy with him and Vito Plumbing.

On 01/27/22, Technician Jeremey Moses of Vito Plumbing, Heating & Cooling came home that I purchased about two years back to install a digital thermostat on to replace the current analog thermostat that works on 120V. The existing wiring was very complicated and posed significant challenge in the replacement process. But Jeremey very patiently handled it by systematically trying several options one at a time and also discussing with his colleague over the phone on the solutions. He successfully completed the installation and ensured that the thermostat started working as expected. He also replaced a component in the Air Handling Unit. I truly appreciate his patience, never-give-up attitude, professionalism and attention to details. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He completed an excellent job.

He installed a toilet that I had bought to replace my old one that leaked. On time to the appointment, nice demeanor and he did a thorough job including cleaning up the bathroom floor before he left. I would recommend the company.

Very nice and professional: he knows exactly what he is doing, he saw the system in the first sight and he knew who installed it, and he knew the problem right away. After a few tests, he realized that the water pump should be replaced. He went out to get a new water pump, installed it, tested it, and it works. The problem is resolved in less than two hours including the time to get a new pump. Great job done!
