Richard showed up on time, was professional and gave his honest opinion. He and his assistant put in a new hot water w/ a tank booster, 2 outdoor spigots, removed an old outdoor spigot, fixed the old refrigerator water line that was installed incorrectly in the crawl space and installed a new line under the sink inside the house. All the lines have now have shutoffs inside so they are easily accessible. On top of all that he was able to get it done in 8 hours and it looked professionally/properly done as if they were doing the work on their own house. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Heil Plumbing was great to work with. Scheduling was easy. Nothing was urgent so calling on a Friday they had someone come out the following Monday. Richard and Dmonte did quality work while being friendly and professional. This trip we had them simply replace a toilet, and they gave us estimates for potential future jobs. He explained everything he was doing, in non-technical terms so I understood what was happening. Plus, he gave me tips on how toavoid issues in the future. He walked me through what was being repaired and offered an option that would have been less expensive, but may not have fixed the issue. I opted for the more expensive fix to ensure it was done correctly. I will not hesitate to call Heil again for any plumbing issues.

I had a difficult installation of a new main valve in my furnace closet which is a tight space. Ike arrived with mask and clean booties. He listened to what I wanted to do, why I wanted to do it, and my suggestions on how it might be done. He took all that into consideration and gave his thoughts as well. We came to a conclusion and he figured up a price with and without a new pressure valve (which was about 15 yrs old). We authorized the job and he went straight to work but not before laying down a nice thick quilted pad around the work space. He did the job in under 1 1/2 hrs. I figured it would take around 2 with the challenging space restrictions. All I can say is the new setup is museum quality work. Im considering putting a glass door on my furnace room just so I can display it. Oh yeah, it works too. Now Im pretty good at sweating pipes and have even installed a new line to the outside of the house for a new hose bib, so when someone does something Im easily disappointed. In this case I can honestly say I could not have done a better job than this and in fact it well exceeded what I am capable of doing. The cost may not be dirt cheap, but it is more than reasonable given the quality, workmanship; and, that is true value. Last but certainly not least, Ike is very professional, courteous, listens and understands what you want done and is then able to execute the job with precision.

Richard Cloud was the plumber sent to help me with the water heater issue and when he got to my home he looked at the issue and identied what I needed and told me the cost and that he would install the new system TODAY.I would like to thank HEIL Plumbing for sending him! When you have plumbing issues and feel helpless and anxious, you must think its the end of the world?!Who do you call? Heil Plumbing DMV! They do the impossibilities to possibilities!I replaced my old kitchen countertop, double sink, and faucet. The countertop company came and set up my new countertop and installed the new single sink. They disconnected the plumbing and garbage disposal attached to the old sink and left it hanging while still connected to the main pipe.There are a lot of plumbing companies in the DMV area, and I needed to figure out who to trust and rely on with my concerns. Luckily, I was narrowing it down based on customer reviews online, and long and behold, Heil plumbing was the perfect fit for the job!Mr. Jacob George is the man! He explained my current setup thoroughly, enumerating the flaws in how it was set up and how it should be based on the building code-plumbing.He opened two sections of my wall to find out if there were no leaks from the mishaps that got disconnected.He did an excellent job installing new plumbing and attached my new faucet and garbage disposal. If you need any plumbing work, use this company! They called me back right away, answered my questions and got me someone to my house quickly. The plumber, Ken G was amazing. He had a great attitude and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. He immediately got to work and found the problem and fixed it for a good price. The best part was he had to cut into my wall and he left no mess, I didn’t even have to vacuum afterwards because he was so careful and kept things clean. If you need plumbing work, this is the company to use. He told me the issue and how to fix and don’t push anything extra. Very happy with today’s service. Brendan arrived a bit earlier than appointment time but that was okay. He assessed the projects that needed to be done and gave us the estimate. Once we approved the estimate he set to work replacing bathroom sink faucet and kitchen faucet. He did a thorough job, installed a valve in the kitchen, checked for any leaks and made sure the work areas were clean and neat before leaving. He explained the things that needed to be done and also explained the warranty on the work. We will definitely call Heil again for any future plumbing work.

Ive used Heil Plumbing a number of times and theyve always done a great job. Most recently the plumber they sent out, Jeffrey Thomas, was able to unclog a bathroom sink I had spent hours trying to clear myself. Afterwards he even gave me some tips to improve the pressure in our toilet and cleaned out the rim / jet holes once he was done fixing our sink drain. Heil has been reliable, responsive and professional and their prices are competitive with other plumbers in the area.

Heil Plumbing is a very professional and a customer oriented business. I had used Heil about 22 years ago and I was happy. They were first on my list to call for help.I called and scheduled an estimate for work that I needed done. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day. Steven H. arrived on time. He was very polite and professional. He listened intently to what I needed done. He offered several different suggestions on how to complete the work. I asked if they would use parts that I bought myself. The answer was yes. I asked what I should buy/manufacturer to ensure that he had what was needed. He gave me suggestions and where I could purchase the needed parts. At the end of the call, I decided to use Heil. It helps that the $95.00 estimate charge goes to the bill for the actual work.Steven/Heil also honored a mail discount coupon along with a senior discount. Every little bit helps. We made arrangements for a day later in the week to complete the work.Again Steven was on time, or should I say early. He came in, reviewed what I had purchased and got right to work. He answered all of my questions, throughout the repair, as to why he was doing what he was doing. I know that can be annoying but I truly wanted to understand what and why. He did it with a smile always! I never ever picked up that he thought I was a nuisance. Steven you are the best and Heil you have a great employee that I hope will be with you for a very long time. He did a quality job and they came quickly which we really appreciated,but felt he was only there for literally 5-7 minutes and originally charged $250 for a routine auger for a stuffed toilet. I can only compare these prices to my 25 year plumber who went by an hour pricing but they retired. After calling the office and thought it was outrageous and they adjusted the price but still felt it’s an unreasonable amount for that job! So will be lot for another plumber unfortunately!

They dont offer emergency services, which was kind of frustrating, but agreed to cover the charges of another plumber after-hours, and came to make any necessary fixes ASAP. Heil prioritized my service call when my water heater started leaking. They sent info and a photo of the tech and what time I could expect him. Jeff called early and made a quick inspection before leaving to pick up a partner and the equipment needed. They had to work around some huge dehumidifiers left by the earlier cleanup team. The new water heater and an additional fix of a toilet were completed satisfactorily in a.very reasonable amount of time. Since then, Heil has arranged for the mandatory city inspector to complete that process. This chaotic and traumatizing process could not have gone more smoothly, and the expense was also reasonable. HIGHLY recommended !

Had a problem late on a Sunday afternoon (DIY sink replacement gone wrong - not an emergency, but I couldnt fix a broken drain pipe). I was able to get an actual person on the phone, explain the problem, and got an appointment for the next morning. Nick was on time, organized, and professional. He took the time to make sure he understood the problem, and then made sure I understood my options. He fixed the pipe, installed the new sink, and left me with a clean, working bathroom in less than 2 hours. And it cost less than I expected, too. Id give 6 stars if I could.

I had a great experience with Heil Plumbing DMV and I intend to use them for future plumbing needs.I hired Heil for two rounds of repairs to install an expansion tank, replace a length of sewage pipe, and carry out several smaller tasks.Our plumber, Jacob George, was always on time and provided prompt, professional, and high-quality service. What really stood out was the fact that, in addition to the repairs, he patiently explained exactly what he was doing and why, as well as what future issues could occur and what the relevant repairs might look like. He was also helpful in showing me how to winterize our outdoor faucet and adjust our water heater temperature.Customer service was easy to get in touch with for general information and scheduling purposes. Danielle was the person we generally spoke to and she was very helpful and efficient in answering our questions.On pricing: Heil was the second company we hired to provide an estimate for the work we needed done. The first company—another larger local company—charged for an estimate and came in double what our housing inspector thought would be reasonable. Heil did not charge for an estimate, and provided pricing that was close to our inspector’s estimate. Based on that experience, I consider them to be a good value for an established plumbing service, and honest about pricing and the scope of services needed to resolve a problem.

Heil plumbing came out to our house to repair a broken drain pipe that caused our basement to flood with water and sewage. The sewage got into the hot water heater so it had to be replaced. Everyone who came out from the company was excellent. The hot water heater was replaced and after about 12 hours the cast iron pipe from the house to outside was replaced and we could use the water again in time for the weekend. On Monday two of the staff came out and filled in the hole in the basement floor and the front yard. Now we just have to replace drywall and lay down new carpet. I highly recommend Heil plumbing.

We had a partial blockage in our Kitchen Sink Drain which also included the adjacent laundry room. Called Heil and they were able to send a plumber the same day. John was the plumber who came out. He was very cheerful and friendly. He figured out the problem quickly and offered us a couple of options. We choose to let him snake the drain. He was neat and clean during the process and explained everything he was doing as he went. It did take about an hour to make an access for the snake and then put the plumbing under the kitchen sink back together. The drain flowing properly now. Jacob is amazing! My 80 gal hot water heater was 18.5 years old (still working) and Jacob came out to discuss options to replace it as well as described the changes in technology and installation requirements since I had the last one installed. We agreed on a model, but given my work schedule and the upcoming holidays installing would have to be done probably after the new year. Jacob contacted the warehouse to find out if the water heater was in stock, then called the scheduler and worked it out that he would come back after his remaining calls were done for the day and install it the same night (after 6pm and pouring rain outside)!! He is very professional and very knowledgeable, explaining things as he worked and he answered all of my many questions with patience. When he finished and cleaned up everything, he asked about other issues I may be having that I may want looked at while he was there (and this is late at night now). Never felt like he was rushing to get the job done to get out quickly. He wore a mask and shoe coverings the entire time. He treated my house with care, especially when hauling the old 80 gal hot water heater up from the basement through a narrow stairwell. Service like this is very hard to find these days. It is evident he loves what he does. I highly recommend Jacob.

The company that delivered my washer and dryer was unable to install my new washer due to plumbing issues in my laundry room. Not only did Eric fix the plumbing in my laundry room, he fixed the shut off valves beautifully, improved the water pressure in my home, hooked up my new washer, installed the steam hose on my dryer, AND hauled away my old washer that had water in it. 1000% recommend, they will go above and beyond to help fix whatever is going on. They were also able to schedule an appointment with less than 24 hours notice; this may not always be the case but they definetly make it their mission to get to you as quickly as possible. I had a toilet with a tank that wouldnt stay filled up so there was a leak I couldnt find. Marvin showed up promptly and saw the flapper was defective even though I had just replaced it. He gave me an estimate to replace that and I agreed so he started the work. After replacing the flapper, it was still leaking so he did further diagnosing and saw the tank was not tight. I also had him look at my back house bib. He determined what needed to be done for both issues, did not charge me for the initial fix since that didnt resolve the issue and gave me new estimates for the work. Ive had experience with this company for the past approx. 25 years. My initial experience was when they showed up in my neighborhood to replace polybutylene pipes to our homes. In my opinion this company is the go to company to do this work. Some years later they installed a water heater tank in my home. Now that this tank has reached its expected life, they recently installed a another one, this time with added bells and whistles to meet current County code and a valve to increase the volume of hot water available in a relatively small tank. They have the expertise. Robert Sharpless, their technician, was very informative when I asked those why, when questions. The tank install was a work of art. He was also a good trouble shooter when it came to repairing/rebuilding multiple faucets in my 30 year old house. This is my go-to plumbing company.

We just had a complete sewer line replacement done by Heil Plumbing and we are very happy that we chose them for the job! We had used Heil before but also had recommendations to find a company with experience in this particular job, with many reviews for this specific job, and one that owns its own equipment and has its own trained employees. Heil checked all of those boxes. Heils technicians and crew were on time, courteous, professional, and kept us abreast of what was going on and any issues that arose. They minimized the impact on our home life, impressive for a three day job. We thought we would have to move out for a night or two, but we didnt. The excavation inside and out was done on day one with no disruption in water or usage, the actual removal and replacement on day two, with the new line connected and useable by the end of the workday, and the last day was refilling outside and pouring concrete in the basement and cleanup. They did a great job cleaning up and returning everything to pre-job status. This is not something that any homeowner wants to go through. We are so glad that we used Heil for this important project, and we are breathing a sight of relief now that it is successfully completed. Heil was also very responsive in the lead up to the job giving us various scenarios on the scope of the job based on whether they could do a trench-less replacement in parts of the line or not, but would do whatever they could to minimize the impact on our property if possible. Of course they took care of all permits and inspections, and we are happy with the ten year warranty. Heil exceeded our expectations and we can highly recommend them!

Eric did a fantastic job helping identify the source of the leak quickly and was very knowledgeable. The leak was not plumbing-related, and he was very forthcoming with his information. I will absolutely call again for future issues.

Additionally, I received a reminder prior to that day that I had scheduled a service.He was extremely efficient and very friendly! There was one small part he had to run out to get, but honestly? I would not hesitate using this service again! They do not repair drywall, which he informed me of upfront. However when he took the drywall out, she made Clean Cuts to make it much easier for me to repair it. Subtle things like that go a long way with me. I am very, very satisfied.

Can’t say enough about the quality of Heil plumbing’s service, from communication about timing and arrival of their technicians to the expertise and professionalism of those technicians (they diagnosed our plumbing problems accurately and had immediate good recommendations for solutions) to wonderful “people skills” (touching respect for elderly family member in a walker, no objection to overly affectionate dog being in the house during their work) plus they were available MUCH sooner than any other plumbers we called. Prices were high but fair for excellent work, and the technician gave tips on water saving devices and leak detection. Highly recommend!

He found multiple pinhole leaks in the garage ceiling, and was willing to stay late to replace the pipes and clean up the water soaked drywall and insulation on the garage floor. Good afternoon to all at Heil Plumbing Otto and his crew arrived on time just as his text said , introduced himself with a smile and great attitude , they got stated outside digging the hole for the location of the existing water main, came into my home and installed flooring site protection ( great job) removed old supply line, installed new supply line, hooked up new plumbing pipes, cleaned up really good, waited on inspection by WSSC inspector, backfilled, tamped, backfilled and tamped again , patched grass pieces back , spread a little seed and straw and cleaned mud, dirt off sidewalk , my wife said the crew was Awesome, very , very professional, neat , clean , polite and if we ever need any plumbing work that I call Heil Plumbing and nobody else , Thanks againWayne of Germantown,

I typically don’t write reviews, but we were so happy with the service we received that we wanted to make sure it was recognized. While on vacation out of town we learned from our house sitter there had been a gas leak to our home generator, and the fire department shut everything off until a licensed plumber could diagnose, and repair the problem. Since we’d used Heil in the past I asked her to call them the next morning. Eddie came out the next day, arrived within the scheduled window, diagnosed the problem, and had the bulk of repairs wrapped up in an efficient amount of time. We needed to order a part to complete the work, so a week later when I was back in town I scheduled the follow up appointment online. Marvin arrived on time, and made the necessary repairs in no time. Both Eddie & Marvin were super friendly, informative, and incredibly skilled plumbers. I especially appreciated their professionalism, and friendly attitudes.
