IHRS is not only timely but professional. The crew showed up on time and removed four trees leaving our yard very tidy. They left no waste and the entire crew was very polite. Both Eric and Meg are very easy to work with and trustworthy.They later removed a bunch of stumps again leaving our yard neat and tidy. I highly recommend them for these services.

I live out of state and own a rental property. Eric is such a great resource for me. Hes reliable, does good work, and communicates very well. Its easy to tell that he likes what he does and he cares about his work. I have hired him a few times now and I cant see myself going to anyone else.

Eric and his team did a terrific job removing a few trees, grinding several stumps and building a fence for us. We were also thinking of replacing a deck. Eric took a look at what we had and advised us that it didnt need replacing. Saved us a bunch of money. They were great to work with. Their payment system was very easy to utilize. If you are looking for great service and a great job I highly recommend them.

When starting a search for what company will take down the pine tree I had in my backyard, admittedly I was nervous. Not only about the price but who I would let have access to my property while I was at work. I contacted IHRS Contracting as one of the top rated Google reviews located in Richmond, KY. Not only did I get a quick response for an estimate but after doing a little more research before the estimate happened, I quickly realized there would not be other companies that would match what I was looking for....boy was I surprised. First, before I the initial estimate occurred I was contacted letting me know a family issue had happened and they needed a couple days before coming out. It was explained what the issue was and I was very happy they put family before work/business. Absolutely!!! Next, when the new estimate time occurred, they contacted me to see if they could come out earlier as I am close to go ahead a give me an estimate since I was rescheduled. Next, when I met the owner/representative, it was like seeing a friend I havent seen in a long time. Yes, I know some people just dont get along but I immediately felt comfortable. Once I realized this is the company that I will do business with, the turnover for when the crew would show up was very quick (within a week). I know sometimes that varies depending on how busy things are going at the time. When the crew showed up, after I met the crew, I felt comfortable having my 5 year old being around when the crew was present (unfortunately he got strep when it was time to work). He was not outside when the tree went down but they were great when he was present, it was like being around family. Lastly, they did a great job in putting back up a 16 year old privacy fence that was partially deconstructed to help get the tree down. BTW, this was a pine tree approximately 65ish foot tall in a not so accessible area.Long story short, if you are looking for someone to do some contract work this is your company. I will be contacting them again if I need any work done that I cant complete myself.

BIG BLUE FIREWOOD/IHRS CONTRACTING is PHENOMENAL!!! We got a full cord of wood in November and boy, did they deliver! We live in Lexington and they delivered it the next day. The wood was wonderfully seasoned and a great mix of hardwoods.This is a wonderful family operation, who has worked hard to provide those in Kentucky and most recently, us, with heat for our home. Communication was always fast and easy with them. They are professional and truly care about their customers without being pushy.We will ALWAYS USE BIG BLUE FIREWOOD!!Thank you Meg and Eric-we know your business will be around for a long time based on all the care you put in. Pat Piecensky came out to repair my fence, this guy was great and speedy to finish the job. If I need work in the future Eric and Pat would be my first call.

Weve used this company multiple times now for various projects and theres not much they cant do. Eric and his wife Meg are very professional, honest, hardworking, nice people and dont try to sell you on work you dont need, and are honest about whether a project is even worth your money and time, such as whether we needed to just repair spots on our deck or completely replace it. Finding a trustworthy contractor is hard and not only that, they are fair on pricing and will work with what you need. I highly recommend them for deck construction, tree removal and trimming, firewood, and more. Eric and his crew show up on time and goes above and beyond. Im not a family member or friend, just a very happy customer thats gotten the runaround too many times from other local small businesses. Very nice people to work with, please give them a chance!

I had a tree fall through my roof during a recent storm. I called a number of contractors, and this company was the first and fastest to answer the call. Eric was very easy to work with and cared about helping me get my problems solved.I had issues with my insurance company paying the costs but Eric was patient and communicated with me through the entire process. I never had an issue getting in touch with him if I had any questions and he also had good recommendations for other contractors that could help me through the process of a very stressful time.

IHRS replaced about a 200ft fence in our backyard in Palomar. They gave a fair price and did an AMAZING job - the fence is a incredibly straight on all sides and level on top and bottom. The gates are as sturdy as can be. This fence will last for decades. The crew was super friendly and very considerate of or specific requests and of our neighbors yards and inputs. Thanks Eric, Tim and team!

Weve had a great experience with IHRS contracting. They were prompt and communicated with us all through the process of having a very large tree removed from our yard. It was VERY close to our house and hanging over our neighbors house. They had to get their equipment in through our neighbors yard, had to take down a chain length fence, plus part of our wooden privacy fence. They put down wood planks to make sure they didnt destroy the neighbors yard with their equipment and made certain it was OK for them to be in their yard before getting started. Understanding the enormous cost in such a project, Eric the owner went ahead and included the removal of two other smaller trees (although still big in my opinion!) In the price.When they left they cleaned up the wood shavings (as best you can with tiny wood shavings) and put the fences back up. Our fence had been rotten and was unable to be put back up, but they were able to replace the section for us at a very reasonable price. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend. When we are ready for more projects Ill be calling them for sure!

I cannot express how pleased we are with this business. They were on time for the bid and service (removing several large trees and branches). The crew was friendly, safe, respectful, and hardworking. The price was reasonable and I didn’t have to clean anything up when they left. 5 stars are not enough!! Excellent experience! We expect to complete several more projects with them in the future.

Eric and his crew kept me informed about everything involving my house project. Quote was realistic and reasonable considering I needed my whole house demoed and reframed. When asked for clarification about why they are doing a certain thing he explains it clearly and promptly in a way a lay person will understand. Will definitely be hiring for more projects in the future. I highly recommend him and his crew.
