He was on time which is really important to me, and he was thorough in explaining his findings, and was able to fix the leak in the wall the same day. He was pleasant and polite. Ive been dealing with Eric for about 4-5 years now. Hes done simple jobs, complex jobs and things in between. I have found him to be consistently polite and professional. He quotes fairly and keeps his word, even when things turn out a little different than we expected. Hes always on time, returns calls and texts promptly, and does a great job. Ive referred him to friends, and I would refer him to anyone looking for quality work.

WOW! Totally feel like I struck gold meeting Eric and hiring Big Bear for my plumbing projects! Eric at Big Bear Plumbing is a true professional. He provides quality service, is extremely qualified (former commercial plumber, bonded, and formally trained plumber), and a very nice guy! He showed up on time and did a very high quality job repairing my sprinkler system, which appeared to be all kinds of messed up from a previous repair. When he finished it had no leaks, was water tight, and proper water pressure returned. If you are wondering, he is definitely one of the awesome old Reno tradesmen that you are probably looking for as you read these reviews: self reliant, honest, punctual, and hard working. Eric is my go to plumber. Eric installed a multiple sump system in my basement and it works flawlessly. He also just repaired a faucet and again a first class job. I have been a owner builder and done remodels also. Eric is a master plumber who also is honest and a joy to work with. Eric arrived when he said that he would, and installed 2 new toilets for us in a recently purchased home. He found that the existing toilets had been incorrectly installed. This caused some of the top of the flooring in one of the bathrooms to pull up with the toilet. He explained all this to us and asked us if he should proceed before actually taking out the toilet. We appreciated his honesty. Also, this made the job a bit more challenging and time consuming for him, but he didnt try to increase the previously quoted price. I am sure that some companies would have done that.We will always trust the Big Bear Plumbing with our plumbing needs in the future !

My wife and I hired Eric on two occasions, and both time he did an outstanding job. There first time he installed a hot water heater in the garage in 90 degree heat in the summer. Second time he helped us diagnose a dishwasher that wasnt draining. I highly recommend Eric!

I was awakened at 5 a.m. with the sound of water running outside the house. I determined it was coming from the sprinklers. To my surprise, the main sprinkler line had ruptured and water was running through the yard down the street. I started making calls at 8 a.m. to several landscaping companies. I received no call back or I received an excuse that they wouldn’t be able to even look at my issue for at least a month. I called Eric and left a message. I received a call back within 15 minutes! We called about 10 different plumbers no one would come out for at least a week. meanwhile we have water coming from the wall into our house we purchased 3 days prior. Eric came out immediately and I mean immediately! He was very polite and helpful from the beginning to end. He was very fast and efficient the best contractor I have ever encountered by a mile and unfortunately I have too much experience with plumbing issues and contractors. We have most definitely found our plumber and plan on having him come back for toilet replacement and any further issues. Im so grateful we have a go to guy from now on.
