It is never easy to find out that one’s water bill has increased tenfold due to a water leak; especially when it is located under a concrete sidewalk slab… Due to their strong reputation, I initially contacted Realistic Rooter & Plumbing and left a message. Anthony Burgess, the owner, called me right away and provided the name of two water leak detection companies. Once, one of them located the leak, I called Anthony once again. He came right away to look at the problem, gave me a fair quote, got the necessary public work permits, and contacted a trusted partner to remove the concrete. He then sent three wonderful and experienced employees to fix the leak and install the new water meter box provided by the city inspector. Afterward, the concrete crew came once again, to replace the removed concrete. All along, both Anthony and his company maintained constant communication via phone, text, and email communication letting me know precisely when crews would arrive at my house. I have nothing to say other than giving a heartfelt Thank You to Anthony, Levi, Tyler, Brian, Derrick and his crew. It is so rewarding to be able to rely on true professionals who work the old fashioned way, with proven skills, respect for the client, trust, and integrity; good and fun people too! AG

*UPDATE* Feb. 2023 - I felt compelled to come back here and update this review because over and over these guys just amaze me with their speed, professionalism, etc. I cant say enough! I call and always get a friendly answer right away, never even have to leave a voicemail. They somehow always manage to squeeze me in sometimes same day. Ive had a lot of things going on with this renovation over the past 10 months and all roads lead to needing Anthony and teams help. Im probably their #1 most needy client, but they always deliver with a smile. Cant recommend enough!Update to this review because now the work is done! As potentially suspected with a repipe and the house sitting vacant for 2 years, there were some issues with the secondary line in the laundry room backing up after about a month of use. Anthony and team were very responsive to my panicked calls of basement flooding and even came out on a Labor Day weekend at 9 AM to snake the lines and dry everything out at no charge! Very happy with Realistic Rooter and the whole team. Super friendly and responsive!These guys are so professional and timely and by far the most reasonably priced for the service! You can tell they genuinely care about doing a good job and being honest. Some of the other plumbing quotes I received I just felt like they were providing recommendations that weren’t necessary in order to make more money. The absolute best! I will never use anyone else for my plumbing needs...I actually feel bad that I havent submitted this review sooner. Very responsive, patient and professional.I needed a garbage disposal fixed or installed and Anthony came and absolutely helped me fix that problem. Then, I asked him if he could figure out why my dishwasher stopped working. He was very patient with me and figured out that I accidentally pushed a button that shut down my dishwasher and figured out how to turn it back on.Then, as he was on his way out I mentioned that my daughter messed up the shower doors and that my dad could not figure out how to fix them and asked him if had any recommendations for a handy man who could come out and fix them...No joke, he went into my bathroom, figured it out and fixed them! My water main burst on the Saturday before Labor Day. I called many plumbers and they either were not working that weekend, or would only quote me the holiday weekend special price. Somehow, Anthony answered my call. Not only was he willing to head immediately over, but he fully explained his pricing and how he would tackle the problem trying the easiest route first (my driveway is over 100 long). Within two hours, he had my water main line fixed completely. He fixed it using a method that would allow minor ground shift (the cause of the issue). This was all for a very reasonable price.Anthony has great communication skills and a calming personality. Both of these traits were helpful in keeping a nervous homeowner calm.Thank you Anthony!

Well Anthony came to unplug drains on a semi-Emergency call to our home. He arrived approx 2-3 hrs after the call. He immediately set to analyzing the problem & came up with an estimate. His son showed up to assist and they finished unclogging the main drain & also pressure washed all lines in house + one clogged roof drain..! Cleaned up well and were finished in about 2 1/2 hrs.. Very courteous & thorough, rates were ok // even had shoe covers for inside work...Would recommend for sure, & will call again if needed !

I had water backing up in my shower and master bath toilet. It turned out to be a problem with root intrusion in the main sewer line. Anthony was so professional! He explained the process every step of the way. He and his team had to excavate my front yard and dig 6ft down to get to the problem. After fixing the blockage/pipe, they put my yard back, cleaned up the mess and carried away the debris. It almost looks like they were never there! I highly recommend Realistic Rooter! Brian and Tyler were very professional; on time, observing all Covid protocols, very respectful, wearing booties every time they entered the house. Replaced all supply lines in this 80 year old home, restoring good pressure, and verifying problems resolved.

Save yourself time and get into contact with Anthony! He personally answers phone calls and is honest you throughout everything. I dealt with a sewage backage in my basement and it was pretty much worse case scenario with the previous two plumbers I had come by to check it out. Although the system will eventually have to be replaced, Anthony gave me some options to buy me some more time since I wasn’t expecting such a expensive fix on my home! Don’t deal with plumbers often but Anthony is great and will definitely ring him for future needs.
