Had contacted Power plumbing to investigate underfloor issue we had from a leak in our dishwasher - wood floor in the next room had started to buckle and we needed someone to check out that 1.) the leak was definitely fixed and 2.) how much water damage was done below the floor.We were able to schedule a date within a few days that worked for us and Kristie, who took our call, was very informative and polite.Steve at Power Plumbing came out and did a very thorough job of checking both dishwasher and sink to make sure all was good. He then went through the crawl space and documented with photos all that he found there and advised us of his findings and issues that may come to light later but were not a problem at this current time.Steve is a very caring and personable inspector, and talked with us about everything he was doing.We will be coming back to Power Plumbing for any and all our future needs - their expertise is great and cost of service are fair.

WORKING WITH ADAM AT POWER PLUMBING HAS BEEN THE BEST. HE IS ALWAYS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. ADAM AND ALL THE GUYS MAKE SURE EVERY JOB IS TOP NOTCH. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH. Power Plumbing to the rescue! We had a nightmare scenario where a drain pipe had rotted out under the foundation of our house. The job entailed zipping open the foundation of our house and replacing the pipe that was buried under concrete. They were up front about scheduling concerns, and the folks that came out for the work were courteous and thoughtful throughout the whole process. The job got done quickly and at a really reasonable price, all things considered. Thanks again!

Best contractor experience Ive had in 24 years in our home. Not just professional, but they did high-quality work in a very personable way. I was even able to text Nick (who did the work) one evening with a question, and he called me back from home to make sure hot water was flowing for us! The estimate was fair and competitive, and cost changes (less or more) based on changes I wanted were shared up-front. This is how business is done right! We will be calling Power Plumbing again for sure.

We had a great experience with Steve and Kristie at Power Plumbing! During the storm in January a pipe burst and subsequently flooded our hot water heater. We called plumbers all over town and thankfully Power Plumbing was able to fit us in on the weekend (which was several days quicker than other companies as Steve continued to work through the weekend). Kristie helped to answer questions I had about insurance and was very clear about pricing up front. Steve called ahead several times to let me know when he’d arrive. We are really pleased with the quality of work and Steve made the invoice very clear to help with our insurance claim. While Steve was there I had a few questions about some other plumbing and he took the time to explain things thoroughly and provide his professional opinion. Thanks again Kristie and Steve!

Our upstairs shower would leak water through the garage ceiling, so a contractor friend recommended Power Plumbing. Aaron was our plumber and he diagnosed the problem and fixed it for us, something beyond my DIY skills for sure. The toilet downstairs was also making a rumbling sound, and he pointed out that the fill valve was at fault, so I was able to replace that myself. Finally, the master bath when filled with hot water would show small, black particles, and he unscrewed the faucet cap and removed a stuck piece of black crud. Recommended.

Many many thanks to Brian who was just out to my house at the end of a long day for him. He was here because I couldn’t figure out why the water pressure was so weak from a new outside faucet he’d installed for me a week earlier. Brian was very thorough in checking it out and discovered a kink in the hose inside the hose caddy. Problemed solved, and his earlier work on installation was perfect. I hired PP to replace a kitchen sink, faucet, disposal, and dishwasher, and install a new double tap valve and instant hot cold and water filter. I am very satisfied with the work and highly recommend PP based on my experience.David was my assigned plumber. He was friendly, considerate, clean, and overall had a great personality. He described the work he would be doing, and asked questions along the way to confirm what I wanted if there were options, or make sure I wanted a particular item installed (i.e., the faucet has no sprayer, and he asked whether I realized this before installing, just to make sure it was what I really wanted).David was also tremendously helpful when the sink I ordered from a third party ended up missing mounting hardware and other items that were supposed to be included. He called the seller and manufacturer to find out the fastest way to obtain the missing items, and did a great job advocating for me.Kristie in scheduling was a pleasure to work with, too. She fully understood what was needed for the job and scheduled the right amount of time. When we had to schedule a return visit because of the missing sink hardware, Kristie found time in David’s schedule two days later, which was a great relief.Overall, PP was a pleasure to work with and I am highly satisfied with their work. I was also very happy that they had availability within one week of my call to schedule the job. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for PP!

Power Plumbing was recommended by our general contractor for a commercial plumbing installation. Their quote was lower than a competing quote, not because their work is lesser quality but because Mike found a more efficient way to tie the new drain into our existing system. The installation went very smoothly, despite the challenge of exposing pipes buried in a slab of concrete. Mike was efficient, on-time, and clearly knew what he was doing. Were now 9 months past the installation and the new service is working flawlessly. Couldnt be more pleased!

This Fall I had a leak in my water system. My home is 71 years old, and we still had a lot of galvanized pipes throughout the house, and this was the second leak I had experienced. My former plumbing company wasn’t doing small repair jobs any longer, but they referred me to Power Plumbing. I called Kristie in Customer Service and she was great. Steve came out to my house and did a great job repairing the leak. In the process he mentioned that his company could replace all of the galvanized piping with plastic piping, since it was reaching the end of its useful live. Carl came out and gave me a very competitive bid for the job, which I accepted. On a Tuesday Milo, Adam and Taylor showed up and they worked diligently over the next four days to complete the work. They were very pleasant to have around, they worked hard, cleaned up after themselves every night, and in the process improved the appearance of the water system and value of my home. I would recommend this company and their employees without reservation.

I can tell that Customer Service is there top Priority. I was tasked on Monday to get a plumber out to fix the water heater at work (no hot water employees had to take cold showers).... All of the other plumbing companies told me that they could not help until the the end of the week or some even told me that I would have to wait until the following Monday. Kristie at Power Plumbing took the challenge and got someone out right away. Adam was great he replaced the hot water heater, and fixed a few other problems. Power Plumbing will be my first choice to call in the future for work and for my personal home!!! They are by far the best company, and they have the best customer service....

I have used Power Plumbings services several times and each time I have been more than happy with the work done; everything from unclogging a drain to installing a fixture for me. The women in the service department are very friendly and knowledgeable, and if an event arises they dont know the answer to, they make sure to ask someone who does. My family always uses them and we will continue to do so in the future.

I called Power Plumbing with a pipe burst and flowing water under our house from the cold weather. Unfortunately, every other plumber was dealing with the same issue all around Portland due to below freezing temps. I was on the wait list with 10 plumbers till calling Power Plumbing. They were so helpful and showed compassion upon hearing my situation. Christine said they were also booked up till the next day but she would try one more option to see if she could help. Little did I know she had called the owner, and within minutes, his truck was pulling up to my house! He quickly discovered the problem and solved the problem within minutes. I will call Power Plumbing for all my future plumbing issues. They provided exceptional customer service and did it with urgency and a smile! Thank you Power Plumbing!

Carl is to main line plumbing what a surgeon is to the circulatory system. Since I had dug up the soil and lifted the culvert, he had the leak that I couldnt find and its cause diagnosed in 10 minutes. Two treatment plans were offered for potential immediate fix and probable permanent fix. (Hope the Portland Water Bureau will be able to help me with a leakage rebate.) So thankful for his recent visit to bid the job. So fortunate he is in the area and so knowledgeable just like those at U of W who isolated the antibody to shutdown the virus a couple days goes. Carl brings hope, powerful hope to our communitys aging infrastructure. If you need real help for a real repair this company has what it takes and is honest about it.

We had to get our whole house repiped. I got several bids but most plumbers arent big enough to do a whole house repipe or had too many extra steps to follow. The biggest plumber in the area who is used to getting all the bids wasnt forthcoming with all the information we needed to make a decision, and I felt bullied and pushed into doing more work than was actually needed (replacing piping that didnt need to be replaced that would have added $3,500 to the price of the job). Power Plumbing came referred by a friend, and I could tell they were different by how thorough the person was who came out to do the estimate. He went into the crawl space and inspected the whole house, noting precisely what did and didnt need to be replaced, so that he could do an accurate bid. While the bid wasnt lower in price, we felt like if anything went wrong while in the middle of the huge job, they would deal with it honestly, so we chose them.The job took an entire week. Every day we left the house for work, during the day, the plumbers came in and worked while we were gone and were gone by the time we got home. Our water service was not interrupted during the time we were in the house. They also cleaned up after themselves like they werent there at all, which was especially important because the entry to the crawl space is in my childs room and her room looked the same as how she left it.A few years back we had had rodents in our crawl space; the guys found a bunch of dead ones in traps and one day took a bag and cleared them all out and basically cleaned our crawl space for us while they were working, as well.Other plumbers stated that this type of job punches a bunch of holes in our drywall to get to the pipes but the plumbers only opened up one section of drywall behind the washer and did the rest through the crawl space, which I can imagine was more difficult than just going through the walls in the house. The damage to the walls was small enough and not in a visible location, so my husband can replace it without us needing to bring in someone to repair and paint a bunch of holes in the drywall. Other plumbers giving estimates had talked about us needing to bring tile people out to cut through tile so they could access the pipes, creating hundreds if not thousands of dollars more in damage just to get the basic work done.Overall it was surprising how easy this major work was on our family and I was very happy with the choice to use Power Plumbing.

This is the second time we have used Power Plumbing of Portland and plumber, Jim Crume. My rental home is 110 yrs. old with a water heater in a crawl space. This was an emergency situation as the cement retaining walls crashed along with several wooden beams. He had very little space, amongst electricians and Terra Firma crews, to stabilize the heater and attach to a new cement wall. I was amazed how he had to maneuver his torso around dirt with about 5 of clearance above his head. Now everything is up to code and working beautifully. He not only has a great personality but is very knowledgeable about old homes and everything plumbing. I would recommend Power Plumbing highly.

Adam has repeatedly done an amazing job for us! He was a referral from a family friend and Im so thankful to have found him! Plumbing issues might be one of the most stressful situations to be in and after having a not-so-pleasant experience with another plumber I thought it might be impossible to find someone reliable, trustworthy and pleasant to work with. Adam and Power Plumbing have saved us twice now and beyond just doing quality work, he really goes above and beyond for customer service. I cant recommend enough!

Our water would not stop running in the tub. I called nearly 30 places in town to get help and all but two were too busy to get us in today. The first company showed up, refused service unless we signed off that it was OK if they made the situation worse, and was going to charge $170/hour. Well, I am not dumb and I sent them away. Id rather wait a day to use the water than work with someone like that. Just after I sent them away, the office of Power Plumbing called me back from my inquiry earlier in the day to let me know one plumber finished a bit early and could come take a look. Steve arrived and SAVED THE DAY! We have a 66 year old house with original plumbing and he not only stopped the flowing water but also stopped the leak that was there and fixed the ever-spinning water levers. AND he was so pleasant. Oh, and this was all done for less than the cost of one hour with the other company. Finally, my husband who works in commercial construction arrived home and said he loves Power Plumbing and uses them all the time on his jobs.
