Calvin did a great job, five stars for his competent work. He was friendly and explained everything. I had booked a morning appointment but after waiting all morning I was notified at 11:15am that they were behind schedule and would now arrive in the afternoon. I wish I’d known earlier so I could re-schedule the rest of my day, but once Calvin arrived, the work was done quickly and competently. I did cancel the second job I’d hoped to have him complete because the pricing was well beyond what I’d expected.

100% would use this company again and recommend to others! From the friendly reception/scheduling staff who was able to get somebody out same day to the awesome technician (KHEIGAN HAMPTON), I had nothing but an amazing experience.I used another company to resolve a clogged drain, which resulted in a broken pipe. This was a difficult fix given there was no clear access to the pipe for an easy fix. Kheigan listened to my unconventional idea to instead open the back of my house and this made all the difference. I’m replacing the siding as a project early next year, so I was not concerned with this minor inconvenience. Keegan was very mindful to not damage the existing siding so I could put it back up until the replacement project begins.Thank you so much for the good experience and a relatively easy, quick fix.

Repaired leaking service line into the house and performed analysis of hot water tank and water pressure check of the system including the water meter, main valve, hose bibs, shut off valves. My experience with D&F Plumbing was excellent. The office was super helpful and kind over the phone. Communication was excellent. Our lead plumber Kheigan was outstanding. Calvin is amazing! He quickly diagnosed my plumbing problem (did not go with a more expensive fix). He communicated with me throughout the repair, helping me to understand the issue and how simply he could fix it. It took him only 3 hours to do the needed repairs on 2 different faucets (that included a run for supplies). He was professional, personable, funny - great to work with. I HIGHLY recommend him for any plumbing repairs needed!!!

Randy was a pleasure to have perform the repairs I needed to have done. I had a plumbing leak that needed to be addressed ASAP and D&F plumbing responded to my request within an hour. They had a technician, Randy, out to my place first thing that morning. He completed the work quickly and efficiently and to high quality. He was a pleasure to have here.The price may be a bit more expensive, but a 1 year warranty for the work and repairs is also included, along with his expertise being in the industry 10+ years.

Frank was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. We needed a toilet replaced and he spent quite a while calling around to find a toilet that would match the footprint of the old one. When I balked at the price quoted, he offered a 10% discount. Best part was that he came and completed the job the same day I called. And super friendly receptionist - Danielle should get a raise!!!

Called D&F for a semi-emergency (a completely clogged bathroom sink) and a secondary issue with another sink with low flow and no hot water… our home was built in 1938 with many pipes original to the era. We’ve used D&F multiple times before for varying issues, but never for these fixtures.“Ozzie” was assigned to us and was GREAT. He arrived on time and was very professional. He throughly inspected both fixtures, assessed and explained possible solutions. BOTH were completely resolved with the least costly of options presented and with minimal impact on walls and existing pipes.Thank you, Ozzie! Great experience! Great service! Well worth the money! First thing this morning I got a text with the plumber’s photo and a tracking map that showed the technician’s van location and an estimated arrival time. This took away the stress out of wondering when he’d show up. Randy showed up on time, he inspected the job, explained what needed to be done and provided a comprehensive quote. Then he fixed all the things that needed to be done. He kindly checked in during the repair and explained what he was doing as he did it. He also made some recommendations for future upgrades, which I appreciated. He was friendly, efficient and cleaned up the work area when he was done. I am very happy with the service and think you will be too. If you want your plumbing problem solved and fixed right the first time, these are the plumbers you’ve been looking for.

Camron did a fantastic job installing a new sink and faucet. He also cleared out the main pipe when we discovered the new sink was draining very slowly. He even tried to fix my leaky hose outside. My kitchen sink has been a problem for 10 years. His attention to detail fixed this long running problem. The sticker price was a little hard to take. Since I bought the new sink and faucet and took out the garbage disposal and now have one sink instead of two, I thought it would be simpler than it was to fix this.

AC was making bad noises, the tech laid out a couple options of what could be wrong. There was co fusion of the price for the visit, I was originally quoted 119, but later got a charge for 318 without the invoice sent over. I reached out and the customer service department said there was nothing to be done about it and the most they could do was give me 10% refund.I was very disappointed with the service,which is sad because I had a great service when my main water line broke with Phil. I gave up and wrote a poor review to warn people of the techHowever a few months later the service department reached out asking what they could do to make this right. They gave me a refund up to 119 and offered to have a tech come and look over the unit again free of charge unless they need to replace hardware or fix the root cause, since the ac unit is still broken. This was a tremendous turn around from before. My wife and I were very happy since we really liked this company and were sad to turn away from them because we had such a good interaction the first time. The service team went the extra mile to make things right and help the customer out. 100% recommend this company!

Made a call immediately and while on the phone I actually hung up to make the appointment online but was surprised with D&F actually called me back voluntarily. That was a nice touch. Scheduled the appointment and the plumber showed up right on time as expected. Frank Salvatore was our personal plumber assigned to our repair. Frank was completely courteous, explaining the repairs as well as some options outside of just doing the repair. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up behind himself just like a true professional would. Cant recommend D&F enough! This is the second emergency like repair weve called on them to perform and both have been nothing short of fantastic!

I am in awe of this company. It was clear from the first time I contacted them that D&F has made a significant investment in providing the best customer service Ive ever experienced. Doubt me? Dream up a left field plumbing question and call them. I promise you will be amazed at how professionally youre treated.It was about two weeks after Cameron came here to expertly replace a leaking toilet gasket that I learned how frost free hose bibs work. They can still freeze; you just wont know about it until you turn it on months after the freeze and suddenly it starts raining (torrentially) in your basement bathroom.Nathan came out and really saved the day. He had the bib replaced in no time, leaving me with contact information for a remediation company we ended up hiring.While Nathan saved my basement, it was Danielle in D&Fs corporate office who saved me a ton of money. I learned after Nathan left that I needed the part to show my insurance company. It essentially came down to, no part, no insurance. Danielle tracked the valve down and made double and triple sure it was returned specifically to her to their office where I was able to pick it up directly from Danielle.Thank you to Cameron, and Nathan for their professionalism and dedication to your trade. We were referred to D&F by the fellow that installed our back flow device since he detected a leak in our water system. D&F sent our Frank(ie) who was excellent and a true professional. He noticed water pooling around the water main valve leading into the house and because it was swirling around he reasoned that the leak was there in or at the valve or very near. He pumped out the water - isolated the leak - replaced the pipe and the valve with a modern one. All-the-while he kept me up to date with progress and in the end he presented me with options for how to repair the leak. Frankie is well-spoken, intelligent, and he does a good job of explaining what he is doing and why. My (older) home had a bursted water line inside the kitchen wall from the winter weather event and power outage (my Portland neighborhood was without power for eight days). I was out of town, visiting family, and had turned off the water and (I thought) drained the lines but the section that burst didnt drain because it was the vertical line just above the shutoff valve.D&F sent a plumber out within 24 hours! Warren was here at the scheduled time and worked diligently and cheerfully with my challenging galvanized pipes and repaired the line successfully, then finished the job by checking the functionality of the kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Unfortunately, corrosion inside the galvanized pipes created additional problems and we determined that the water heater needed replacement as well. (Note to other homeowners: drain your water heater every year to prevent its premature death.)We scheduled the replacement for the next day-- and Jason was out first thing the next morning, installed the new unit and then examined the fixtures, clearing debris from the cartridges as needed until everything was working properly.Both plumbers were courteous, professional, and efficient; they took care to leave the work areas clean and were a pleasure to work with.The best part was how fast the project went from the call for help until completion. (Three days!) Its no joke living without running water in your house!! And last nights hot shower--beautiful!

D&F saved the day, week, year, and life of our house. They sent out their (or maybe just my) main man, Joe Hammers and he crushed it. Very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a smell... we couldnt pinpoint, as it came and went, but it started in the basement and then moved up to the first floor. I was convinced in my unprofessional opinion that it had to be coming from the foundation since the stench started in the basement but after evaluating the situation he highly suggested we open a wall up on the main floor... I fought it a bit as again, I was convinced that it was in the basement... Mr. Hammers was correct! The cause: a Grand Canyon crack in the vent pipe starting at the main floor. The waste gas was getting trapped in the wall and then venting down into the basement. What a pro!Saved us a ton of money from having to do a smoke test or tear up the foundation.I highly recommend D&F and their master plumber, Mr. Joe Hammers!What a badarse.

Had a huge leak that suddenly came up in the pipe leading from our house to the water meter. D&F had been a subcontractor during a remodel we did a few years prior, so we knew they were a trustworthy company. They responded quickly and were very transparent in their communications, timing, etc. James, our technician, was extremely friendly, professional, and communicative. We were very happy with their ability to get this big job taken care of in a timely fashion.

Phil was excellent. Showed and explained everything he was doing to fix my suddenly very leaky bathtub and shower faucets. I can now turn off my faucets completely, and without breaking a wrist. Took my long-term plans for the unit into account and did not try to oversell, that I could tell. The woman who answers the phone there is always excellent to deal with also.

Warren is a consummate pro.Professional and knowledgeable and took time to explain things. And he fixed the problem. This storm in Portland was a total mess for the city. I know everyone out fixing problems and giving estimates are slammed right now. He helped us understand our plumbing lines and how to help mitigate this more in the future. Glad we did business with D&F and had Warren dispatched. Back in the house and very appreciative of the work. Easy to take the plumbing for granted until you don’t have it.

We had a leaky garbage disposal. We’ve had D& F help us out before and so I called them, trusting their service. I like their practice of sending a text with a photo of the person coming to do the work, so I know who to expect. Our plumber, Camron, did a great job extracting the old garbage disposal that was rusted and replaced it. He checked all of our plumbing and gave some recommendations. Great service! We will call them again if we have any plumbing needs.

I received service from Phil Deuel and he was an absolute grace to have over. The issue with my plumbing ended up being two fold, the first day being my water heater going out (It was way past expiration), and the second day being a leaky pipe further along the water tank connection. Talked us through the issues, was very informative about the process, and made sure we understood so we didnt think we were being duped. Had new piping and a new water heater just before the blizzard hit, couldnt be more relieved.

I was very impressed with Loren from D&F who came out to our place to give advice on an issue with the subflooring under the toilet. Of course, being a plumbing company, it doesnt deal with changing floors out. All the same it was nice to get some instruction on how we should proceed and Loren was great with providing that.

Cameron fixed our burst pipe following an ice storm. All of the local plumbers were booked and we needed to wait a few days (completely understandable) and D&F kept good communication with us during the wait. Cameron met us early, listened to our situation to best figure out where to address the problem with minimal intrusion into the wall, and kept us informed what he was planning/doing throughout the process. Great service and communication all around! And all of this while the roads were still icy. Thank you Cameron, and thank you D&F.

Had a great experience with the D&F team. Scheduling was easy, with great communication and our plumber Loren was very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did he fix the issue but showed me the steps to fix it myself should it happen again. Would give 5 stars but the price was steep. Loren was upfront with the price so no issue there, just a surprisingly high hourly rate.

I had no idea plumbers could be this expensive. I used their emergency services and I would have saved half the amount if I sent my renters to a hotel, paid for two days of meals and scheduled a plumber. The emergency plumber only had plastic available to replace a break in a copper line. Learned my lesson and will never do this again.Brad from D&F reached out to me and expressed concern about my experience. We agreed it would have been helpful if I had been given more information about how long it would take for the emergency plumber to get to our location so I could better weigh my options. D&F prefers the plastic pipe and I prefer copper, something that would have been better to resolve when I scheduled the appointment rather than four hours later when the plumber arrived. My learning is that I should have left site to get my equipment and replacement parts and taken four hours to sweat in new copper. The D&F plumber was professional and competent and Brad was concerned and helpful; so, having made the decision to contract for emergency services, D&F was five stars.

The entire process from scheduling to completion was amazing. Scheduled online sent photos/video of issue. Received a call on Sunday to verify everything. Technician showed up on time, went over options and completed the job in no time at all. Very friendly and left no trace they were even here...except for a properly working shower. Thanks so much would definitely use D&F again in the future.
