Thomas did a great job! He was nice, considerate and explained things well. He was fast and dis his best to provide options. We had a faucet leak that became a steady flow, the water would not turn off using the intake valve and it sprayed everywhere. So he replaced the faucet and the valves and matched the other fixtures. He also helped troubleshoot an issue with my kitchen. Thanks so much!!

Cornel’s came to check on the condition of our almost 20 year old home gas furnace. They let us know that carbon monoxide was being produced,so important to replace right away. They helped with electric heaters to keep us warm until a more reliable Daikin Modulating high efficiency model could be installed. We hired Cornel’s Plumbing in December 2024 to handle a pipe leak in our crawl space and are very impressed with the results.The scheduling process was easy and efficient and they were able to get us a plumber the same day we called in. The plumber arrived on time and was able to assess the issue and provide a clear explanation of what needed to be done. All the issues were properly and efficiently addressed and the pipe is functioning well now with no leaks. Additionally, the plumber fixed a problem with the original installation and made it better.The plumber was courteous, friendly and happy to answer all of our questions and concerns. He was very respectful of our home to protect the floors and cleaned up thoroughly once the job was completed. Communication was ongoing as the repairs progressed and the cost (which was provided upfront) was very reasonable and fair given the scope of the work.We would not hesitate to contact them again for any future needs and would certainly refer them to anyone in need of a plumber.

I recently had Cornels Plumbing install a new garbage disposal in my kitchen, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. We had at least three things wrong with our plumbing system where our bathtub wasn’t draining and our water heater was leaking. After turning our water off (it was leaking onto an outlet) we were getting anxious not knowing what was wrong and when we could turn it back on. Jake was extremely kind and professional and explained everything very clearly so that I knew what was happening. He made this experience go from something scary to a positive one based on his upbeat attitude and willingness to help us resolve our issues (regardless if it was 100 degrees out, as well the numerous amounts of spiders I know were in our crawl space).Thank you Jake!

I am a senior citizen. It is becoming rare today to deal with a company who show up on time and do an excellent job. But that was not enough for Cornell Heating. They sent a very well trained and very polite young man. His work was excellent and his report though. He was not only polite but willing to answer all my questions. It was a good experience having them out. plumbers are expensive, but all in all their pricing was very reasonable. I had a clogged drain which I had already tried using a hand snake on, but was unsuccessful. They were significantly cheaper than Roto Rooter, who I used in a different drain a couple of years ago, and very knowledgeable. There was a galvanized pipe that needed replacing, which another member of the team came out and fixed quickly. Very honest and capable plumbing team. I am very happy with their work, and would definitely use them again.

Amazing fast and professional service. We called on a Friday with a leak concern after receiving an outrageous water bill. After discussing my travel schedule, I was put on hold and they managed to get someone out that afternoon. We learned it was a leaky toilet- whew- not underground! Monday morning at 8 am they were there installing new toilets. So thankful! I had called two other places with no call back - so this service was even more appreciated - especially with my very tight window of time.

I highly rec Cornels plumbing. Weve only worked with them for a year but they have been great. John B. came out to do a maintenance service on our gas furnace. John was prompt, friendly, and communicated clearly. He was thorough and detailed, and showed me pictures of what he saw during his maintenance. He gave us some options to improve but not the guilt trip or hard-sell. We also had some plumbing repaired/replaced earlier this year - those two technicians were also on time, courteous, friendly, and did a great job. The schedulers are also courteous and friendly. Youll get text notices of ETAs and appt confirmations etc - very helpful!

I cant say enough good things about working with Jake and the office folks at Cornels. We unfortunately had a slow, mostly hidden leak in our basement bathroom that we needed to tear apart and remediate for mold. Jake did a very thorough job of testing all of the possibilities to identify our water leak. What set the experience apart was not only was he thorough, but was an excellent communicator of his thought process, while educating us about the issues and the best way to move forward with repairs. Unrelated to the our basement leak, we had Jake replace a hose bib. The work was quality, and we shouldnt have to worry about it freezing. The attention to detail to cut the interior drywall to make repair easy is a nice touch. Five stars all around, great communication with Jake and the office staff. Competitive pricing. Will use again and recommend to friends/family!

Long story short we purchased this home a year ago, the back-flow shutoff valve needed to be replaced before our second required inspection from the city water. We had someone come out to give us a quote and possibly do a hot water heater flush. He was very real with us, as I didn’t know the history of maintenance for the hot water heater we decided maybe not do the flush as it may cause problems.Today we had Juan Segundo show up to do the job of replacing the water back-flow valve. He was sent here solo, I am impressed by his professionalism and quick work! He had to dig a 3’ x 3, x 3’or4’ deep hole. There were three large rocks surrounding the cover too!! Cut the old back-flow off replacing the connectors lines and cover. Filled the hole in with rocks so it drains properly in hopes it won’t corrode like the old one did (it was half buried in dirt.) he then had to fill the outside of the access box. He did all this in 6.5 hours! He cleaned up and filled bags with the excess dirt and hauled most of it away as I told him to leave some here so I can use it as the dirt settles. He was super friendly and had great customer service we will be back for our future plumbing jobs. Your company has treated us well. Juan Segundo did a fantastic job I am very pleased with our interaction and his job was 100%.

Very satisfied. I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called. Technician (Dylan P.) showed up on time, quickly assessed the issue, got me an estimate and started the work to solve my problem. He was friendly, answered all my questions and even gave me some additional tips on keeping the water system in my house running trouble free. For reference, the builder for our house had used disimular metals (bronze and iron) and this had caused premature corrosion. The technician only replaced the bad iron part as the others were basically still new since the house is only 3 years old. I will call this company again in the future.

In the middle of the heatwave, our A/C stopped working. I expected to have to wait a few sweltering days to have it repaired, but Cornels was able to send someone out the next morning. Brandon C. helped us and he was so great to work with. He explained a lot of the more technical aspects of A/Cs to my science-loving husband, and pretty quickly diagnosed the problem. The repair was a lot more money than we wanted to spend on a 17 year old A/C, so we decided to upgrade to a heat pump. Brandon got us the pricing on that (it was a lot less than Id been anticipating - around $8,500 for a 1,400 square foot house), scheduled the install, and helped us start the financing process, then he drove across town to get the part our A/C would have needed, and replaced it FOR FREE so that wed at least have A/C while we wait a week for the heat pump install. The repair was quick and easy, and were back to having gloriously cool air in the house. Id highly recommend Cornels for A/C repair - they were so responsive and efficient and helpful.

Professional and quality work. We have a 32 year old home and needed a few leaks fixed and an in home shut-off valve placed. Kane gave the estimate and Jordan did the work. The cost was a little higher than a few others but if you want a warranty then Cornel’s is the right choice. I will use there services again when needed. The photo is just one of the few problems that where fixed.

Taylor and his apprentice arrived promptly at the start of the appointment window, they were very polite and personable, interacted with my kids (who are just as overly social as my dog). The price was higher than some of the other quotes, but they got the job done without cutting corners.I needed a new gas water heater, and its located in the attic space. The access was JUST barely wide enough and another company suggested just leaving it up there, set aside.This team took it down without creating any mess. I will absolutely call them again if the need arises.

My husband and I just bought a home that had some plumbing leaks found during our inspection which were then fixed. Once we moved in, I felt like the water pressure was really low, and one of our outdoor spigots barely had any pressure at all. We just wanted to be safe so we called Cornels out to take a look. I had a really good experience with Jake & Thomas today. I really appreciated that they notified me they were going to be a little later than expected so I could adjust my plans. Once they arrived they were super helpful and explained that the water pressure was actually pretty normal and offered a couple of suggestions to get it to the level I wanted. They also went into the crawl space to double check the pressure regulator was working fine, which I appreciated. I didnt even know we had a pressure regulator, or what it was. The big win for the day was they identified an issue with our outdoor spigot that would have caused big problems in the winter. This is our first home and we really dont know much and wouldnt have known about this issue until it was too late. They were SO nice and patient and answered all my questions and explained to me how to winterize our outdoor faucet (a few times because I was a bit nervous I would do it wrong). They had to explain a LOT of stuff to me and they did a good job explaining things and giving me options and timelines of when we should do things. I felt like the price for parts, labor, etc was reasonable and I was impressed they were able to fix some minor issues the same day. Our tub faucet leaked, which was another issue we wanted looked at and they fixed it same day. They were also really nice to my dog :). Really helpful, genuine and overall a great customer experience. Will definitely use again!

I called Cornels and the Plumbing Technician (Juan Segundo) came out and fixed them along with pointing out some other concerns I wasnt aware of. Juan wasnt trying to upsell me or anything of that nature. He explained in simple words the issues in a way that I could understand and I rescheduled another appointment requesting him again to fix those other problems .Again I was pleasantly happy with his work, expertise, professionalism and down to earth demeaner. He did some tests, figured out the likely cause, and provided me with a few reasonable options for a fix. He even discovered (and fixed!) a minor gas leak I had in the same area that I hadnt noticed! Im so glad I called. The noisy pipe is fixed and a hidden safety issue was addressed. Ill definitely call Cornels again if I have plumbing requirements.

I recently contacted Cornel’s Plumbing to address a broken water line to an outside hose bib, repair a leak in our kitchen sink drain system, and install a new kitchen sink faucet.The plumbing technician, Thomas McGifford, arrived to repair the broken pipe and install the faucet. Thomas called to inform me of his arrival time and was punctual.Thomas was polite, courteous, and professional. I showed him where I suspected the pipe was broken, and he quickly diagnosed the issue. After exposing the pipe, he found four splits.Thomas replaced the broken pipe, but upon testing the pressure in the new line, he discovered another leak in a different section of the pipe.Thomas promptly installed the kitchen faucet and scheduled a follow-up visit to address the additional leak in the water pipe.During the return visit, Thomas arrived promptly. Despite having limited repair space, he showed patience and persistence in resolving the problem.I was pleased with the repairs and impressed by Thomass expertise and professionalism. I would not hesitate to call Cornel’s Plumbing for any future plumbing issues and would specifically request Thomas for the job.

We just had our furnace and AC replaced by Cornels and they did such a wonderful job. Justin, who originally came out to provide estimates, was great to work with and had excellent communication with us. We had 3 other companies come out and provide estimates. Cornels estimate was the cheapest, but I still had a lot of questions to make sure there werent any surprises. I was able to talk to the owner and like Justin he was pleasant to work with and happily took the time to go over all my questions/concerns. The installers showed up exactly when they said and did a great job. There were some hiccups with our thermostat talking to the AC unit, but they were able to send someone out quickly for a follow-up visit to get it resolved in just a matter of minutes. Also, they use Daikin equipment which is known to have one of the best hardware warranties in the industry. Seriously impressed.

Update: still 55 stars! Used them again this time for repairs to our HVAC system. Some rooms werent getting flow and/or it was pushing out cold air. Avery was wonderful during the inspection and available for all our questions. Samuel did the repair and couldnt have been better. He walked us through what he would be doing and what we could expect from the repair. Cant recommend them enough.Brandon was absolutely wonderful! We had a couple of heating repairs from our home inspection that we wanted to get fixed before winter. He was able to finish both of them plus regular service all in about an hour. We discovered a very small leak under our home that needed to be repaired. This is the third time that weve used Cornel Plumbing and they continue to impress. Our plumber, Taylor, was able to quickly identify the source of the leak in a pipe behind a wall with minimal probing and investigation. He demonstrated where the leak was (capturing it on video) and explained how these kind of leaks can happen. Ours was the last appointment of the day but despite the late hour and lack of emergency, Taylor volunteered to stay late and fix the issue. He ensured he had everything he needed before cutting the water the property and then proceeded with the fix which included removing a section of pipe and joints behind a wall as well as under our house in the crawlspace. The work was done quickly and professionally and we were back up and running with the leak repaired before he left. All the Cornel service folks have been great and Taylor was no exception. He was friendly, professional, and transparent and we feel fortunate to have had him work this project. We really cant say enough nice things about Taylor or Cornell and wed recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing or HVAC service!

He was able to answer any questions I had and was great in communicating the results of our HVAC maintenance and need for a coil cleaning.Cornels also assigned Jayden as our drain specialist for our toilet issue. He called to let me know he was on his way, was prompt, and professional. He listened to the issue I was experiencing, evaluated it, and walked me through the levels of repair that may be needed. No kidding, I attribute my going with Cornel’s vs the other bids for a whole (smaller) home plumbing replacement project solely to him, his straightforward nature and honesty. Overall, I am satisfied with the service I received from Cornels. I give 5 stars for the technicians and 3 stars for the cost. I have a wall-mount toilet that was running constantly. Eric came to diagnose the problem and was really helpful and knowledgeable. He quoted me $900 for parts and labor, which hurt. But he said the tech would show me how to install it myself. Juan came to the next appointment to install the new part and he was friendly and really knowledgeable. He showed me how to install it myself and even caulked the toilet base against the wall that had started to crack.The parts were about $300, so markups plus labor ended up being $600. Thats pretty crazy to me, but at least now I know how to fix it myself in case it ever happens again. The overall lesson? Never buy a house with a wall-mounted toilet!

Cornels is just awesome! I got an ad for a $49 furnace inspection from them, so I called and made an appointment to inspect our 2 furnaces. Brandon & Justin came out, they were super friendly, and very professional, did a thorough job on both furnaces. They ended up finding a crack in our 27-year-old furnace, showed me the pictures of the crack, and explained to me what that meant exactly (which I later confirmed by googling). They then quickly put together a couple of quotes for me, and only charged me the inspection fee for just 1 furnace. Their quote to replace our old furnace was the most affordable as I also got quotes from 2 other places, so I went ahead and signed up. Then the snowstorm came with power outages, so I had to reschedule twice (due to 2 outages, thx PGE!!!), which on its own was very easy to do via text (thanks Caitlin!!!). The crew who came out to install as well as to troubleshoot the unit after the installation was OUTSTANDING: Brandon, Greg, Justin, all were super professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The unit installed however was faulty, but everyone at Cornels, including Jeff and Caitlin as well as the crew were super on top of it, and after a couple of days troubleshooting it with the manufacturer tech support, the issue was resolved. They even brought us 3 brand new space heaters, just in case they couldnt resolve it soon enough! Im very happy with the work, and grateful for the honesty and responsiveness that the crew has provided. I signed up for the Cornels care plan, and am very happy that I did, because these guys are very thorough and honest. HIGHLY recommend them, and will definitely have them come out every year to inspect our furnaces and water heater. Thank you Cornels team!!

We highly recommend Cornel’s plumbing. We had a pipe burst during the frigid winter storm in January 2024, and Jake came out to fix it. What we thought would be just one pipe burst turned into four. He was able to fix what he could at the time and capped-off what he’d need to return to complete. He thoroughly explained everything that was going on, took pictures and was very transparent about the cost. Then, John N. came back to complete the remainder of the plumbing once the sheetrock was removed in various areas. John also explained things very well and took the time to ensure things were done correctly. Once John was done, he was even willing to go back down into our crawl space to ensure everything was dry, which gave us peace of mind. We also want to acknowledge Caitlin, who was extremely friendly and helpful in scheduling our plumbing repairs and arranging for the city inspectors to come out and inspect Cornel’s work. I had a vent pipe from kitchen sink to exterior wall lowered a few inches as part of a kitchen remodel. Great communication all along- easy to make an appointment (I emailed photos to the scheduler so she understood the project, and she was very responsive), Jake called when he was on his way and arrived right on time at the beginning of the service window, and receipt/warranty info was emailed right after he left. Jake was a friendly clean-cut guy I felt comfortable having in my home. He kept things clean as he worked, including using a shop vac while sawing drywall to minimize dust, and left everything spic and span when he was done. The job was $1700 for a couple hours work at most- seemed a little high, but everything is high right now so that may be the norm, and I was glad to have it done right with warrantied work. Cornels was recommended to me by a friend, and they were right about the quality of the staff and work.

Thomas McGifford, Plumbing Technician with Cornel’s Plumbing just finished repairs to our frozen busted garage copper pipe to the outside faucet. He had great solutions that make it better than original! He replaced the copper with PEX pipe which should respond better to vastly changing temperatures, and he replaced the old style crank turn off valve with a 1/4 turn shut off with drain bib for winterizing. As well, Thomas was creative with the placement of the valve to make sure it was out of the walkway and won’t snag on clothes when walking past it. I really appreciated Thomas’ attention to detail. After calling Cornel’s for a clogged sink drain Robert came out and cleared the drain with ease. One of the things I appreciated about Robert specifically was his professionalism, his respect of our home leaving it cleaner and in better shape than when he arrived and overall, the process from initial service request to the close out was easy and headache free. 10/10 would use Cornel’s for future plumbing needs and given this experience would use them for our HVAC system too!

Brandon and Jeff came to take a look at our furnace for a routine service/inspection. They were efficient and knowledgeable, we’ll use Cornel’s for future furnace needs! We recently had an issue with our furnace and Justin came out to diagnose and fix it in under 2 hrs. Will continue to use them for our furnace needs!

We interacted with three employees from Cornel’s Plumbing for multiple repairs, and they were all amazing. They were knowledgeable and we could tell they took pride in their work and loved their job. They communicated well with us and the price was significantly lower than other companies. They also worked quickly and efficiently. Call them. They are wonderful!
