From project estimating to completion, my experience with Sun Dog was top drawer. Robert was kind, thoughtful, professional and a great communicator throughout the duration of the project. We could not be more pleased with the results and wish that we had another project for his team to start on immediately! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Sun Dog for projects large and small. Theyre well-equipped and well-able to handle all aspects! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Sun Dog has performed two major jobs on our 1925 Portland home. First, they redesigned and rebuilt our front porch. The second project included removal of asbestos tiles and installing Hardy Plank siding and trim, insulation, window replacement and concrete upgrade and repair. In both cases they did an outstanding job which increased the aesthetic appeal and quality of our home. Their craftsmen were friendly, courteous and above all, highly skilled with great attention to detail. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Sun Dog for your home improvement and building projects,

Autumn converted the basement of our 1909 home into a full apartment in 2010-2011. It was a complete reconstruction. He gutted it, removed and re-poured the concrete floor, water-proofed the old and crumbling concrete walls, and then designed and built a gorgeous one bedroom apartment for us complete with all new plumbing, wiring, and a new electric panel. Everything was done to code (which he knew incredibly well) and he did all the necessary permits and interface with the city. It is now 2020 and that once leaky basement is now an apartment and has been completely water-proof all these years even through several of Portlands winters have had record rainfall. We hired Autumn because of his creativity which was evident from his first visit, and he and I brainstormed the design together. The design phase took a couple of months, but it was time well spent and it was fun to work with him. We have used him for much smaller house projects over the years, and the best thing that I have found about Autumn is that he stands by his work and makes sure the job is done to our satisfaction, even when it costs him money. I wholeheartedly recommend Autumn for his integrity, creativity, and deep knowledge of his industry.

The Sun Dog Team stopped by in the middle of snowpocalypse 2021 to provide an estimate for tree branch removal.It was so cool they made time to help with this in the middle of a storm where many people simply couldn’t leave their homes.They are friendly and professional. I recommend their contracting and pruning services.
