Scott and his team are a respectful and professional asset to our community and provide superior customer service. We returned after a few days away and learned of several storms that passed through our area, some, we’re told were violent. We had a tremendous power surge that overrode the surge protector that Scott installed on our AC unit and damaged the computer board, among other utilities in our home. Scott talked me through some late evening remedies which partially fixed the AC. Shortly thereafter, Scott was at our home and confirmed the damage. Repairs were promptly made and sound advice on preventing a future occurrence with the installation of a surge protector on our electrical panel. Those residing in the Arizona Valley can appreciate having a dedicated AC team at their fingertips, particularly during our brutal summers. Thank you, again, to Scott and his team. We are fortunate to be connected with all of you.

Scott installed two brand new a/c units for us. He came out for a free estimate and sent over his estimate the next day. He covered all of our questions and steered us to units that would meet our goals and not just upsell to the highest cost units. He was fairly priced, very knowledgeable, and reliable. We have been super happy with the new Trane units and have had both of our post-install check ups. We highly recommend Scott for all of your hvac needs.

We called Scotts because our daughters bathtub faucet broke. I tried to fix it myself (which I have done in the past in other bathrooms) but there was a problem with how the builder installed the piece and it was too difficult for me to remove. I called out Scotts, who responded very quickly. A special tool was needed which he did not have, so he ordered the tool and came back over a couple days later for a fast, professional install and fix. Thank you so much for being so quick and courteous. Will use again when necessary. Would recommend.Turns out we did use them again when our water heater broke and started leaking. Scotts was prompt and friendly. A new water heater was ordered and promptly installed, and for SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars less than a couple of the big guys quoted us a few months earlier when we were looking for a preemptive replacement. Scotts even included some parts that the other guys wanted to charge a la carte for. Thank you Scotts for being reliable, friendly, and affordable.

When my 22 year old electric water heater started to fail I started calling around to get quotes. I wanted to switch over to gas, we already had a line for it, but after speaking w several different companies I learned it might not be an easy swap. Scott’s quoted me the best price but let me know for an exact price they would have to come out to see what needed to be done to bring it to code. Although I had a bit of sticker shock I knew that any other company would end up being higher as well after they came and assessed what needed to be done.The next day Jose came to do the install and went above and beyond my expectations! Not only did he install a beautiful new unit, he went beyond by reattaching my dryer hose that was previously detached and trapped behind the old water heater. I now have a pedestal so the dryer hose runs under and don’t need to worry about it becoming detached again.I would recommend Scott’s AZ services to my best friend and have their card on my fridge for any future needs, they do a/c, plumbing, electrical and filtration.

Wonderful service and fair price. I called Scotts AZ Services after a plumber botched a job in my new home leaving me with leakes everywhere. Scotts Services did a marvelous job not only cleaning up the botched job but actually fixing my plumbing issues. They replaced all faucets and lines leading up to the faucets, replaced garbage disposal, and uncloged a toilet.

My wife and I have been using Scott for over 4 years, since we moved back to Ahwatukee. We had two old AC units that we needed to have serviced. I was really impressed with Scotts approach. He checked each unit and gave us several options. He explained how he could cheaply repair them to keep them working, or he could replace one or both units. Every time we call Scott for work, he tried to help us understand the issue, and he always tells us how he can do the job in the most cost effective way. I have never felt like he has tried to pressure us into expensive, unnecessary work. This year we finally had Scott replace both units. In the process he found work that was done incorrectly by the builders. He came back multiple times to make sure his work was completed to 100%, and to fix the problems caused by others. There is no one else we would trust to do our Plumbing or AC work.

Our AC went out the day after we got home from the hospital with our first newborn baby. Our house was 96 degrees inside, we were dripping sweat, and our baby was overheated and lethargic. We were frantically calling around to all the AC companies trying to find someone who could come take a look at our AC but no one was available. When Scott heard we had a newborn he took pity on us and moved some things around to fit us in quickly that day. Scott was amazing to work with and was able to get our AC unit replaced in a timely manner. He was so kind and helpful- I recommend him to anyone in the valley!

Scott was great. I attempted to wire a smart thermostat myself and blew my units transformer in the process. He was able to get out the same day I called and replace the transformer. He also recommended that I replace some old wiring connecting the unit to the thermostat because I was experiencing power lose at the thermostat. I did just that and BOOM, everything powered up as it should. Great experience, thank you Scott!

We had them out to install a water softener. They were on time and VERY professional!I was skeptical about this item, BUT my husband wanted it. The first few showers I took I felt oily, I thought maybe it wasnt for me, but then realized it was a CLEAN feeling I was having! I am in LOVE with it now! Less water usage for everything, which for a family of 4 is HUGE. Your hair is softer and fuller, your skin is silky and smooth and laundry seems to be cleaner than ever before!Highly recommend this company and a water softener!

I recently purchased my first home. Needless to say me and my boyfriend are pretty clueless when it comes to maintenance so we purchased a home warranty plan. A few days ago our AC goes out (just as soon as we are starting to hit triple digits) so I put in a service call. First they referred me to some company where I left multiple messages for 24hrs and never spoke to anyone. I call my home warranty service back the next day to complain and they refer me to A Better PlaceLLC. I received a call from Scott (the owner) saying he would be out that day and he was at my home a few hours later. Hes professional, confident, has a sincere friendly quality, knows what hes talking about and keeps it real. Hes also friendly with pets :), my lil 4yr old french bulldog Bella was having the best time trying to distract him in anyway she could. After finding the issue with the AC he made a call in my favor to the warranty company that helped ensure that they cover the replacement part right away. He had the part readily available, and AC was back that night. From now on when I call my home warranty service I will only request A Better Place and should be TOP on the list. I also hired Scott to clean the coils of the air handler to help maintain the unit and have it working efficiently for the rest of the summer. He squeezed it into his schedule and returned the same week. This maintenance service is not covered by home warranty plans. The quote he gave me was the MOST REASONABLE PRICE OUT THERE, and you couldnt ask for any better service. A Better Place is truly the BEST PLACE. I highly recommend you CALL THEM FIRST. I love this company! Scott, the owner is so smart. He knows everything....at least it seems like it. I had a remodel done by another company (before I knew Scott) and while we are still trying to get things completed, Scott is graciously telling me what is not up to code so I can have the other company take care of it. He is honest, reasonably priced and will not try to upsell you on things that arent necessary, but, he will for certain educate you on how to take care of your place...one of the things I most appreciate about him.
