Years ago a handyman extended an outlet behind where our TV is mounted to hide the cord. Their wiring was falling apart and it was shorting into the outlet box eventually killing the power to an area, and obviously we narrowly avoided a home fire. Star Light booked us one working day from our call. They systematically tested every outlet involved, found the problem and replaced and rewired it correctly, restoring power and saving us a disaster. They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up everywhere they worked, very professional. There are electricians that can install a new light or wire a new build. Finding an electrician that can problem solve, and especially can find and fix prior bad work, and then charge a very low reasonable fee is rare. I 100% will use them again. I certainly will never use a non-licensed guy for electrical again!

I recently had a Tesla Wall Connector installed by Star Light in my detached garage in Phoenix. Michael and his father were a pleasure to work with— they came out to deliver a quote same-day and had me scheduled for installation a week later.The job required 100ft of wire (60A/240V) pulled through an existing conduit in order to supply power to the Tesla Wall Connector. They did an excellent job and the Model 3 is getting its max 48A charge.I highly recommend Star Light if you’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable electrician in the greater Phoenix area.

I have a Nissan Leaf, and I needed a Level 2 fast charging station to be installed in my garage. Before starting, they communicated well to make sure that they had all of the right materials for the job before they arrived.They did a great job installing a 240v outlet with a 50 amp breaker and mounting my charger to the wall. The price was reasonable, they were friendly, and they arrived on time. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

I called Starlight after having a fire in my Electrical panel. I spoke with Michael he was able to give me a quote quickly over the phone by just sending him the pictures of our damaged electrical panel where other companies wanted to come out and charged us a service fee ($200-$250) for inspection prior to giving us a quote. Prior to speaking with Starlight we had another company inspect the panel and confirmed we needed a full replacement, they were going to charged us DOUBLE the price that Michael quoted us. I have to admit I was very skeptical of Starlight at first due to the price difference but after the continuous prompt response from Michael I knew he was the guy for the job! He communicated all the details including getting the permit from the city, when APS was going to cut our power and estimate time of when the job will be completed, which by the way he did 3 hours ahead of given time! He was very professional, yet friendly, cleaned out all the materials, even the tiny styrofoams! We are definitely very thankful for the amazing job he did! I’m glad to now have a go to company that we can trust for any electrical jobs in the future!I cannot recommend Michael and Starlight enough! Thank you for the amazing job!!!

We were changing out bathroom light fixtures in our home which is something we have done many times before and should have been straight forward with no issues. Unfortunately this time was not the case due to questionable electrical work done by the builder and we lost all power to to not only the bathroom but home office. We called Star Light and not only did Mike answer immediately but was at our house in 15 minutes. Mike was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, he was able to find the source of the issue which was not an easy task, got the power restored to both the rooms and then fix the wiring issue in the bathroom so that it is correctly wired but most importantly is safe. It was a Saturday late afternoon, they finished up the job they were on and came to fix my job which turned out to be bigger than we thought and they stayed late. Very professional. Star Light Electric was excellent to work with from start to finish. They came to our home prior to providing an estimate in order to fully understand the scope of work required. They arrived on time and worked diligently on our project (wiring and installing 2 coach lights on either side of our garage and replacing to lighting units on either side of our front entrance door). Upon completion of the project they thoroughly cleaned up the work areas, installed the new light bulbs and tested all of the fixtures. Star Light came out to my house in Phoenix, AZ. They were able to replace my entire electrical panel. They went above and beyond what I had expected. I had another electrical company come out before them and they quoted me a ridiculous price and told me I would have to wait a month for the permits. In the meantime, we had no heat or AC to the house and half the the house had no power. With two small kids in the house, this was just not acceptable. Star Light was able to get everything they needed and completed the job in less than a week and half the price. I will never call anyone else in the future.

These guys are hands down the best! We just had a horrible experience with an electrician who did not finish his work and caused a lot of problems. After a number of failed attempts to get in contact with the first electrician, we contacted Star Light Electric. They came out the very next day even though it was Super Bowl Sunday. They arrived exactly when they said they would. They have outstanding customer service. After they reviewed the jobs we needed completed, they were quickly able to diagnose the problems that the other electrician could not figure out. This included uncovering several fire hazards along with work the other electrician did that was not up to code. Had we not called Star Light, these issues would have gone undiscovered which would have put our family in danger. They professionally completed all the work in one visit. Throughout the process, they communicated very well on what they were finding and how they were fixing the issues at hand. To top off the great experience we had with them, they brought their own vacuum cleaner and cleaned any messes they had made. This company is one that I will recommend to everyone and we will definitely be using them again!

It seemed like a simple job. Someone had given us a small chandelier that we wanted to have installed over our dining room table on the second floor of our condo. Except, the ceiling over that area was 20’ high, so we needed a 16’ stepladder, which wouldn’t fit up the stairs. My usual handyman service turned down the job due to the height, so I went through a series of questions on Angie’s List and Star Light Electrical was one of two companies recommended. The other company estimated a fee of $325, so I was glad when Mike from Star Light called and gave me an estimate of $175, which seemed more reasonable.Mike provided excellent communication as we worked to setup a mutually agreeable time. Mike and Rosco arrived right on time, and got right to work on the first challenge – how to get the very large and heavy stepladder in through the sliding glass door on a small balcony. By angling the ladder, they were just able to get it over the railing and in through the door. Rosco got right to work, and things were going smoothly until he asked me if I had the bracket. It turns out every hanging light fixture like we were given has a bracket just for that fixture that holds it to the ceiling. We had not been given the bracket, so Mike and Rosco went down to their van, found an old bracket, and made the necessary changes to it so it would fit our fixture. They also carefully checked the wiring on the light to make sure it was correct. Soon the light was installed, and Mike even brought in a vacuum to clean up the area.Mike and Rosco were a pleasure to work with, and even though the job had taken twice as long and a lot more work than they had anticipated, they only asked for $50 more than the estimate, which again was very reasonable. I highly recommend Star Light Electrical, and will definitely call them for any future electrical work.

I called Star Light on a Sunday because I pulled a whole light fixture out of my ceiling! Mike called me back within 2 minutes and was at my house within the hour. He came in and seen the fixture but took the time to look at the wiring that was hanging as well. He fixed the wiring, replaced the bulb and reinstalled the fixture for me. He was extremely polite and professional. He didnt have to fix the wiring but he did and I truly appreciate it. What should have been a 5 minute job took much longer and not once did Mike complain or make me feel like it was an inconvenience. WOW!!!!!! There are not enough positive adjectives to describe my experience with Starlight. I had a problem with my pool pumps not working. I knew the pumps were good so I figured it was in the wiring that was the culprit. I called Starlight to make an appointment , expecting a long wait because of all the rains we were having, but I was fit in almost right away! Michael and his Dad diagnosed the problem right away, which amazed me, and we made an appointment to have them come out and run a new line the way it should have been run in the first place. They left the work area cleaner than it was before they started working and kept me informed the whole time. The cost was under their original estimate and was way under what I thought it was going to cost me because they were fitting me in in between their work and on a weekend. They knew I was in a tight spot and did not want my pool to start turning into a rainbow of colors. I now have my new GO TO company for electrical service and I am going out to purchase some security cameras and Im going to have STARLIGHT install them for me. Do yourself a favor and call the electrical magicians known as STARLIGHT out to fix your problems, you wont be sorry!

I called this company last night 4/7/20 about 7pm and a man name Mike answered. I asked if he was the owner & if I was disturbing his dinner & he said no. What a gentleman he was, the way he spoke , etc to me. He asked how I found his company & I told him I looked up Electrical Companies in my zip code & because of their reviews & 5 star ratings they had from quite a lot of people & companies that used their service. #1 they are about 15 min away from our house #2 I read their reviews which were awesome , #3 they had a 5 ** rating for quite a long time. I asked him the soonest he could be at our house. He said he could be at our house this Wed 4/8/20 between 8-9 am. Well, he arrived a bit before 9 am with his father. they went right to work diagnosed the problem and in 1 hr. on the nose my problem was totally fixed by 10 am Boy were they fabulous !! What professionalism !!! Mike even went back out to their truck & came in with a dust pan & brush, cleaned the small little area under the area where they worked & that area where they did work was so clean I didnt even see anything that Mile picked up off our dining room floor anyway.THEY FIXED OUR ALABASTER CHANDELIER WIRING AND PUT IN A NEW DIMMER WHICH ALSO HAD SHORTED OUT. Talk about being prepared & bringing everything with them. People in Phoenix & the surrounding areas, if theres ever ever a company for any type of electrical work you need you MUST CALL STAR LIGHT ELECTRIC THEY DO COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL. Mihail the owners son was great. He took my call and was able to come out within 48 hours and take care of some minor electrical repairs for me. I quite a bit of knowledge in various phases of construction and but needed somebody licensed. I could tell Mihail is not the type to cut corners to make a quick buck. He took the extra time to trace down the different circuits and when he was done his boxes were trimmed out perfectly. Don’t hire a handyman for electrical and risk your safety, instead call Starlight.
