I will admit that they are quite pricey, but the service I was provided was top notch. Long story short, Dylan had to come out 2 extra times the same day after installing my tankless water heater because of an issue, that ended up being user error. Was all about figuring out the issue, no complaining about the fact that he had to come out multiple times. Every time I called I was able to speak with someone within 3 minutes. Any questions I had, they answered in a way I could understand (not using lots of technical terms I wouldnt know etc.)

Everyone I dealt with at Arnold and Sons was very professional and friendly. The installers were quick and clean. They replaced all of my water lines up to the fixtures on my main floor in less than two days and they left no mess behind. They worked with my township to get access to the main shut off to the house, which ended up being under my driveway. I am very impressed by the install. They tucked the pipes up in next to the rafters, eliminating all of the hanging pipes I had previously. I will definitely use Arnold and Sons the next time I have any plumbing needs.

TL;DR excellently employees, good products, expensive communication failure due to customers lack of specialized knowledge.Dale came out and gave me a reasonable estimate on repair costs for corroded sink pipes and we scheduled a time for him to replace my sink and the corroded pipes leading to it.I will update after the job is finished.After job is finished: hit a bit of a communication snafu.A lot of positives to be mentioned first. The plumbers they sent to do the job were polite and good at their jobs. When they hit a snag they werent sure how to manage,they called for back up rather than just running ahead breaking things or telling me it couldnt be done. They did a beautiful job on my sink. They replaced a p trap on another sink and tightened another faucet to stop a leak.Now the negative resulting from poor communicating. I had corroded pipes leading to the sink and corroded water pipes under the sink. Im not a plumber, I didnt realize they werent all sink pipes. The water pipes were not replaced. They still need to be because of the much mentioned corrosion. I probably wouldnt have sprung for the big pricy sink if I had realized I wasnt fully fixing the original issue.

Robert was fantastic to work with. We contacted Arnold & Sons due to a sewer water issue. Robert came to check out the problem and was both professional and friendly. He explained his process to check our line in a easy to understand manner. It ended up being a city sewer issue and not an issue with my sewer line. When the city arrived he passed along the information he had to allow them to more quickly identify the issue.While Robert was already at our home, he was willing to look at a couple other issues we had concerns about. He provided several options for service to pick what best fit our needs and what we could afford. There was no pressure for sales which was greatly appreciated. Robert was both kind and knowledgeable. He got us scheduled for the work we decided to move forward with on a day and time that worked best for our schedules. He also took the time to follow up with us a day or two later to make sure the issue with the sewer had been resolved.If you want a knowledgeable technician and great service, I honestly cannot recommend Robert at Arnold & Sons enough!

What an outstanding company! Ive been impressed from the beginning! I called in a panic on a Monday morning. Dale Washam and another gentleman were sent over to the house immediately. So prompt! Dale was very smart, detailed, honest, and explained everything so well. I was given multiple options and took advantage of their financing in order to get more fixed than just the problem at hand. It was my choice and no pressure! The problem was assessed and the plan of operation to fix was put into place for the following Wednesday (today) . Three gentlemen came and were very professional and kind. Hard working men! Im super excited to see the completed work tomorrow and be done with all the plumbing issues Ive had in my house in the past. I want to thank this company for making me feel like I was their #1 customer in that moment! I got lucky choosing them. I give them 10/10!

Adding another one to the plethora of awesome reviews. We had leaks in the house I just bought less than a month ago and these guys took care of it all in about 3 hours. Before and after photos.Update 4/3. I accidentally broke the tank on one of my toilets. I called up Arnold and Sons to get a professional opinion on options. I also had them look at the other toilet that did not work for quite a while now. Dale Washam was very up front about everything. He said we are best off just ordering a new tank thats compatible. The other toilet he said definitely had a clog somewhere. Turns out this house has a lift station pump to transport waste to our septic tank and my wife had unplugged it to have another outlet for Christmas lights. He plugged it back in and cleared out all the waste that was built up for a much lower price than originally quoted.

Fantastic experience with Arnold & Sons! We switched out our old tank water heater for a new tankless heater and the sales rep, Tyler, and installer, Dylan, were extremely knowledgeable, very nice, & respectful of myself, my home, and my two dogs! They had easy availability to get scheduled with a sales rep, Tyler, so that it was convenient for us. And Tyler was able to schedule us for install with Dylan the very next day! The whole install process only took one day to complete. They even provided free guidance for us on an unrelated plumbing issue we had been experiencing. They do have a travel fee for the sales rep/quoting process, but that fee is waived if you schedule service with them! We are extremely happy with the whole process and would definitely turn to them again for any plumbing needs in the future.

Arnold & sons is, hands down, the most professional company I’ve used for my plumbing issues. I called for a drain clean and got the answers I’ve been looking for for 6 years from other companies. Jorge was prompt, knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. He was able to answer any questions I had for him, explained in detail so I could understand what course of action moving forward that I needed to take to ensure my issue would be resolved and not create a larger, more expensive problem in the future.(as if the solution I have to have done isn’t insanely expensive to begin with)I’ve been told in the past by a previous company that I needed a camera to scope the drainage pipe. The previous company referred me to another company whose rates were outrageous to do the same thing Arnold & sons provided as part of their initial service!!!We need the hydro jet to clear the pipeline and Jorge gave me a quote (with great detail as to what would have to happen to achieve one of the options ($29k fix) vs the alternative (hydro jet) which was significantly less than the first option he gave me (tearing up the street, construction on the pipe… you get the idea)If you want a reliable, professional, educated company to handle your plumbing needs… look no further than Arnold & sons!

Lets talk about Dale Washam. 100 stars. He was so helpful and professional when he came to inspect my water softener. Gave me a temporary fix but overall I needed a new water softener. He made me feel very comfortable and i appreciated his peofessional advice and explaining all my options. I was a bit nervous being home alone having a group of men in my house, but everyone was so nice and very professional. Robert Boland was very courteous and arrived during the agreed time window. He tried to minimize dirt from my sewer cleanout service with a tarp on the floor. Perhaps a tarp on the near wall as well would help further though. He hit tree roots pretty significantly, which turned my experience to a more costly discussion. I trust he is right about the roots, but seeking competitive quotes before making a decision

Update!Nothing is worse than discovering you dont have hot water. Except it wasnt a surprise. The thorough itemized inspection Dale and Robert did previously, left us aware of the situation we were looking at and how much it would cost. My husband and I were able to sort out what we wanted to do moneywise ahead of them coming. Of Course the hot water went out on a holiday weekend, but they came out the next day and were able to get us on the schedule for the beginning of the next week for complete repair and fresh installation of a new warranty covered tankless water heater, water softener, and whole house filtration system. The receptionist was able to pull up are file based on our phone number. Its the little things that count. Before their arrival we had our Ultimate Plumbing Game Plan decided!I cant express enough the quality of service. From wearing a mask without being asked, because it was in our file. To the level of patience and kindness to our children as they were extremely curious about the work being done. Our son is Autistic and he LOVES when tradesman come over so he can learn how everything works. The guys were amazing towards him and allowed him to be curious and answered his questions. They also gave us peace of mind, with their attention to detail and always maintaining professionalism, no matter who is in the room........First Review.....After purchasing our first home, we noticed quite a few areas of concern. As new homeowners hiring maintenance/repair work is nerve-wracking. After researching our area, I was drawn to Arnold & Sons Plumbing. I loved their commitment to the environment and excellent reviews from previous companies. Our kitchen sink stopped draining on Sunday and we were in no rush. I submitted an online inquiry and received a call right away Monday with a time for arrival.As Monday came I received a call letting me know they were on their way. After hanging up I got a text with photos and descriptions of the gentleman coming into our home. Dale and Robert arrived. They were very polite, wore shoe coverings, and masks, I am immunocompromised and with that, COVID is still at the forefront of our mind having anyone enter our home.After spending quite some time diagnosing the issue we called about, and also checking the rest of our homes plumbing we discovered some other issues which are going out or need fixing sooner rather than later. We never pressure to fix more than we could afford at that moment. We have the ability to plan the other items to get everything fixed over the next few months. They were honest with items that were still in good shape and werent trying to ups sale us at all along the way.At the end of the visit, they wrote up five different options detailing various combinations of fixes we could do with estimates next to each fix. Allowing us, as the customers, to customize/rearrange our plan of attack to get our plumbing all up to date.We ended up choosing to start with fixing the kitchen sink at this time but appreciated the comprehensive look into our homes plumbing.Once we decided on the kitchen sink we were given an all-inclusive cost. Meaning if they found anything while they were doing the project we werent going to have to worry about an added cost.They were able to come out the very next morning and get to work with the issue we had it was going to take 3 to 4 hours. But the work they did was outstanding. Everything was left clean, if not better than they found it, and made sure to treat our home just as they would their own home. 10/10 I would recommend them. The reviews commenting on price I believe are opinionated. We would rather pay for quality work that comes with a lifetime guarantee (at least for the sink drain) than have to fight backups yearly.Thank you so much, Dale, Dan, and Robert for your outstanding work ethic and passion for the job you do.

I called Arnold & Sons because my water was leaking under the kitchen sink. I called on a Saturday and they were unable to make it but arrived first thing Monday morning. I ended up changing the hot water handle but thought it was still leaking on the cold side. It ended up not needing repair but Dale checked the performance on my water softener and I didnt realize that the one I was renting (from another company) was a 2013 and I just had it installed 2 years ago. I decided to go with a brand new one for only $9 more than I was paying for the 2013 plus the new one is much more efficient and uses way less salt. The new one was installed the next day and they even switched out my cold water handle at no charge, even though it wasnt leaking, just for peace of mind for me. The guys that installed the new one were very efficient and I will definitely recommend Arnold & Sons to friends and family. Thank you again!

I was taking care of my baby daughter while they did their work, and they were beyond thoughtful as they were putting in a lot of effort to keep things as quiet as possible. If I can give Arnold & Sons 6 stars, I would.We had a leak in our water heater, and we hired Arnold & Sons to put in a tankless water heater. The installation was fast, professional, and outstanding.Unfortunately, after the installation, we noticed the tankless water heater was flaming out soon after starting. The Arnold team came back right away to troubleshoot. After spending days, thoroughly investigating the issue, they discovered the issue was a clogged gas line in my house, which has nothing to do with the installation or the tankless water heater. It is something they said they have never seen before.I know in this trade, this is often too easy to just go with the cheapest contractor - perhaps a race to the bottom mentality. However, when things dont work out, would you have wished of hiring someone that 100% stands behind their work (instead of just going with the cheapest bid)?I have hired Arnold & Sons a few times over the years. To be honest, they are not the cheapest around. However, their workmanship and professionalism are always outstanding. I decided to write this review after my most recent experience. Response time was less than 24hrs. When your main sewer line is backed up response time is everything. First impressions of a company is paramount to the customer. Technician (Robert Boland) was professional. Robert parked his service truck in front of the house instead of pulling in the driveway to make sure we were ok with the service truck parked in the driveway. He then put on boot covers before walking into the house without hesitation. Robert then began to explain the different options to diagnose our problem with the sewer backup. He first ran a camera into the sewer line to find the backup. Once he found the backup he then attempted to clear the backup with the sewer machine.Since the line couldnt be opened he scheduled us for a dig the next morning. Our old water heater quit working on a Wednesday morning. By Thursday afternoon, we had a brand new one installed and working. The whole crew was professional and courteous, walked us through the job step by step, and cleaned up after themselves. 5/5 stars!

I cannot thank Arnold Plumbing and Dale Washam (service technician) enough! From the first moment I called the company, right off the bat they were extremely helpful and professional. Dale arrived early before scheduled time. Dale was so polite, welcoming, and professional. He made us feel safe and comfortable. What was supposed to be at first help with removing our old dishwasher, and putting a new one in- Dale discovered more issues. He remained calm, and explained everything in great detail. He inspected our whole home, and was able to tell us everything we needed to know. We live on Moss Ave in Peoria in a 1938 home. We knew something like this would eventually pop up. I trust this company whole heartedly!! Definitely 5 star!!! Thank you SO much!!!

Let me lead with PRICE should not be your only deciding factor (I’ll touch on this later below). Context I had a water service line leaking from my shared well to my house it is a galvanized steel line that cannot be repaired, due to age and it not being cost effective with the risk of it breaking again. So I called Arnold’s they were out the very next day Robert was my tech I got. Robert is professional experienced and very patient and communicative about the process, risks, cost effectiveness, and personal advice about the route he would take. He also asked about any additional needs I may want to consider getting fixed (water softener lines, gas lines). He broke down the three options we could take. I’m not gonna lie there was some sticker shock replacing a water service line is NOT cheap. So after the initial visit I got 4 other quotes from other plumbers/underground drillers in the area. To be Frank 3 of these company’s were under what Arnold’s had quoted me in fact one of them was HALF of the cost. However the approach the other company’s wanted to take combined with logistics, lead times, warranty, lack of communication, and no financing options. Made this a easy choice the financing is what inevitably sealed the deal along with Arnold’s communication skills, professionalism and LIFETIME warranty on the replacement water line. Securing financing was a breeze with very competitive terms as soon as I did Arnold’s came out the following week. Mark the owner did all my excavation at my house along with overseeing the job. That was a shock to see a owner supporting his employees and overseeing advanced jobs to make sure they are done right, you don’t see owners in the trenches (quite literally in this situation) with their employees very often this was very refreshing and made me feel more at ease. They even were willing to move my water service from a existing location in the basement to one that was more ideal for my needs (did all the associated plumbing along with it). Dan did the inside work and is excellent and professional and very strong attention to detail so he gets big kudos as well. As for the rest of the job it was challenging and a lot of work but they made laying 200ft of line in a 4ft trench around trees flower beds and my driveway look like a breeze. Took them from start to finish 8 hours they cleaned up very well put new gravel down at the end of my drive and told me if I have any issues with the dirt not settling or needing more gravel for my drive they are only a phone call away. I cannot recommend them enough they may be higher priced but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The job done right the first time with true professionals and the problems are behind you.

Great experience! We called on a Monday and they were there the next day. Robert showed up on time and was very friendly and informative!! My significant other was out of town and he spent the time explaining everything to me and then again to him over the phone. He was able to get a team over 30 minutes later and they installed a new water heater quickly and efficiently. The team was great and answered all of our questions and made sure we were happy before leaving. They cleaned up everything and were great about protective wear throughout the house. I cant say enough good about Dale Washam. He showed up today and was absolutely awesome. Heads up Arnold plumbing value this employee because he is one of the rare ones. He spent extra time answering all of my plumbing questions and showed me a visual inside of my cast iron pipes. I could not only see.the issues but after he ran a cutter through could see the results. I cant say enough good about Dale and Arnold plumbing. Total bill was 99 dollars which is a steel compared to several other drain experts that were gonna show up. Hands down best in the business. Thanks Again
